My husband and I have had to call Harrell multiple times and this man is always able to fix our appliances in one day if he has the part in stock. This morning I called him at 8am and he was at our house within an hour. He has done service calls to our house on a holiday weekend to fix things and is always available whenever needed. Super nice, affordable and very knowledgeable. He is THE BEST!!

Im giving one star on this review because Harrell Appliance did fix one issue with my washing machine. I first contacted them on March 15 to fix the gasket seal on my front loading GE Washer. The repair man did show up the next evening to fix the gasket seal, but also noticed there was a part missing. He said he would order the part and let me know when it came in so he could finish repairing the washing machine. I heard nothing from Harrell from March 16 until March 23. Never once was I contacted about the part coming in, or when he would finish fixing my washer. I would check back in with Harrell every couple of weeks with phone calls and texts. Finally on May 8, he told me my part was in, and that it had been on back order (for over a month) and he would try to get to my place to finish the washer. Two weeks later I called him from my phone to see when he was coming and he did not answer. I then called him from my work phone, and he answered. He said for the second time he was on his way to pick up my part and he would try to make it to my house the next day. That was sometime in June. It is now August 4. Ive received no further phone calls or texts from Harrell. I texted twice with no reply. I tried to call - no answer. This is terrible service. I absolutely would not recommend Harrell Appliance to anyone! I pointedly asked several times if I should go somewhere else, and he assured me he would finish the work. Im pretty confident I was lied to the entire time, and am doubtful that a part was ever ordered.

Dexter was very professional and kind. He came out to fix my front load washing machine, it’s back to working now. But two months later the washing machine stopped working and flooded my laundry room. Contacted Dexter and he kept saying he was coming out and never showed after attempting to call him over 3 times.

Poor communication, didnt show up when they said they would. Doesnt seem like you can depend them. Made me, the contractor look bad when I told the client they were coming three different times and they didnt show. Thats not good business in my eyes

I thought he was great at first! Thought he fixed it, said hed be back the next day, no show! Then he said hed be back on saturday morning between 9-10,once again,no show, wouldnt answer his phone or text! In Monday night, the following week i text him, asked why didnt you come back and hour later he sends back tommorrow I was like naw! I already got someone else! He says hed be happy to make right whatever was wrong, I said Id really like to have my money back, since it wasnt fixed and you never came back, he said we will talk tommorrow, Its tommorrow, I have heard nothing! So disappointed! The one star is because its the only way I can post this!🤨

I contacted Dexter Wednesday evening in regards to the commercial stove in the kitchen at camp where I cook. We were having issues with it arcing and tripping the breaker when we flipped the breaker on. He showed up at 9:30 Thursday morning and worked on it until 4:00 until he was sure there were no more issues and ensured that I would be able to cook for our camp that starts Friday! I’m sure any other repairman would have given up and said it wasn’t worth the time and effort to get it working again; but he stuck it out until he got it working safely again. We appreciate his hard work and effort. And his charge was extremely reasonable. I totally recommend his services.

Came to fix a part on the washer which still wasnt completely fixed then came to look at stove he claimed he could fix he just had to order the part for it. Dexter never once returned a call that I made to him. Went above and beyond to get a one star review!

“Fixed” my washing machine for $120. Thirty days later, same problem. Called several times for a week, appts continued to get postponed for later times or later day in the week. VM is now full and no answer to my texts. Still has not shown up and probably never will.

Ive been trying to get my ice maker repaired since November of last year through my sears home warranty, but they couldnt get it fixed. I called Harrell-appliances and they had it fixed in 30 minutes and its been running great . They are professional, very friendly and courteous. They are always available to take your call (an actual live person) which is very refreshing. They even called me back to make sure that the ice maker was still working. If I ever have any more problems with my appliances, they are the ones I will call, and you should do .Thank you soooooooo much .

Was called to service my microwave oven but didnt show up! Sears set this appointment up through my Sears Warranty! He denies having such appointments! I called him and my dad called him! The appointment was set up on 3/28/18! Sears wanted me to call him back out but I refuse to beg anyone to come to do a job! I will wait and call someone else who is available! Very unprofessional!!!

Ive been dealing with another business in town for 3 weeks trying to get my mothers dryer fixed. After giving up on them ever showing up, I found Harrell Appliance Repair and called this afternoon. Not only did he make time to come diagnose the dryer the same day, but he also fixed it the first trip. He was very kind, professional, and very fair priced. Our fridge wasnt getting cool. He came out 3 times with 3 different diagnoses and it took 2 1/2 months for the fridge to Still not work. He wont answer our calls and wont call is back! Waste of time and money.

Terrible Experience! Had him over to fix my ice maker that was froze up, and he took a heat gun to de-ice. Put everything back together, and then NEVER showed up to repair it. Month later, froze up again, and I went to chip away the ice, and found this hole! thought I chipped something at first, and then, after closer inspection, found there was no chipped piece, but that it was melted. Yes, he melted the ice maker with his heat gun, never told us, and then never showed back up after getting his money. STAY AWAY.

No follow through. Unreliable. I needed an ice maker replacement and he said he ordered it. However, every time I contacted him he kept saying it hadnt been delivered. Then, he said delivery was two weeks ago and he would install that afternoon. Never heard from him again. No respect.

Answered call 1st time. Was in Bham but offered to come that evening. Next morning my schedule changed so I texted Dexter (he was the one who answered yesterday). Barely left msg & number when he called back. Was here in 10 min. Repaired my washer quickly and efficiently. Extremely reasonably priced. Worst service ever! Called first thing on Monday morning needing freezer repair. He said he would be out the same day. Never showed. I called him Monday afternoon at 4:11pm and he said he would be at my house within the hour. NEVER SHOWED!! It is now 1:45pm on Tuesday and I still havent heard from him. Do not use this man. He is unreliable and dishonest.

Worst Service Ive ever experience. Had a service repair scheduled, and the guy NEVER showed up. Called him, and he said he would come that following Monday. Never showed up. Comes on Tuesday, and ordered a part. Its been two weeks, and never heard from him. Call (doesnt answer), and I finally get a hold of him later that day, and he says he will come tomorrow. My wife waits around ALL-DAY and he doesnt call, and doesnt show up. I call the following Monday, and he says he will come tomorrow. I asked him why he didnt show up on Friday, and he says thats Water Under the Bridge. He then says....I really dont want to deal with this. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Booked through Sears
