I needed help with a last minute contact lens fitting since my usual eye doctor was unavailable. I was able to call and talk to the extremely kind and helpful Brandon at the front desk. He was able to work with me over the phone and quickly got my forms and insurance pulled up so I could make my way over.Nikki and Brandon worked quickly and efficiently in getting me in and prepped for my eye appointment with Dr. Kim. I opted out of having my eyes dialated and decided to pay a bit extra for the back of my eye to be photographed. Dr. Kim explained in detail the imaging and what we should keep an eye on since glaucoma runs in my family. I highly recommend this test and had no side effects other than a quick bright light.I was fitted for contacts and talked and laughed with Brandon and Nikki while they checked me out and got new contacts ordered then thanked me for my visit with a smile! In 25 years, this was the best experience I’ve ever had at the eye doctor. Thank you to your team for being so kind and flexible!

The vision works website allowed me to take eye exam and contact lenses appointment at this facility at 10:30AM on a Saturday but the store actual timing is 11AM and I had to wait until 11 and then talk to a representative. Then I found that the doctor isn’t really available and the doctor is on and off. I felt bad. May be the facility is good but the online portal is not being maintained properly

Brandon has been there since I was a little boy and is the reason my family and I stay. Never forgets a face and makes sure I get what I need fast and easy. My last visit was less than 5 minutes. Expected delivery on new glasses was 9/21 and I got them today (9/13) Highly recommend this specific store.

Certain individuals are just not made for customer service. Over the years my family has easily spent thousands on prescriptions, glasses and contacts. One of the employees there for some reason is always extremely direct and brash at times! Honestly, quit if you don’t enjoy working there, cause everyone else is usually very pleasant.

Pleasantly surprised when I drove to Franklin from Alabama to replace a pair of frames and Braden fixed mine on the spot at $0 cost to me. Fixed me up in 2 minutes and since no one was waiting behind me we swapped a bunch of jokes. Great experience and definitely worth the drive from Athens, AL!

I came in not really knowing anything other than I wanted extended wear contacts. Now I have new contacts that are perfect and the Dr knew just what to do, thanks for my freedom from glasses

Best eyewear service that I have received in YEARS!!! From the beginning to the end, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. What really sealed the deal is how fast my glasses were ready (approximately one week?). They also have a vast selection of frames to choose from at great prices.This more than makes up for the really disappointing experience that I had at their other location, which I had been using for many years. Most uncourteous and unprofessional staff.Perhaps, for once I thought if there was a minus 5 star rating. During these trying times we heard of stores running out of business due to the pandemic but this store would run out of business because the staff working here.Two days in a row, we went to the store much ahead of their closing time but they closed the doors citing reasons which suited their convenience on one day and the next day the website said closing at 7 pm and we were at the store before 6 pm and the doors are half closed and the staff was so uncourteous that they didnt even bother to get up from their seats to answer our questions and were waving their hands indicating that they are already closed (so unprofessional). When asked that the website said its open till 7 pm, they simply said, we dont know about that but we just change our timings.I would rather never visit this store again.

Best vision service that I have had in many years. From beginning to end, I couldnt be more pleased with the staff and the selection of frames. This really helped make up for the disappointment that I felt after visiting their other location. Why cant they all be like this?

Website says walk-ins welcome, door says walk-ins welcome, no customers in the store other than me, no one waiting to see the Dr. Other than me. Store clerk says Ill have to go on the web site and make an appointment. She wouldnt check with the dr. About getting me in and she wouldnt make me an appointment. Pretty crappie experience. I wont be back.

I had my wife pick up my frames so they were never adjusted. I swore my prescription was wrong, but after working with Brandon he found out exactly what the problem was. Brandon, thank you for being so knowledgeable and for providing a premier experience. Your attention to detail and level of service not only made my eyes fee better, but made me want to ditch Lens Crafters for good. Even while I was walking out other customers acknowledged how great he was. Visionworks, take care of Brandon because hes gold!

The team at Vision works flawlessly interacted with three members of my family, helping us and many others at the same time. Whenever you had a question someone was already asking you if you had any questions and were there ready to help. The store was busy as many are using their end-of-the-year house benefits and they were helping everyone in the same way. I recommend coming in with your vision paperwork/information, especially if it’s in the evening or on a weekend, but if you have your insurance information it is very smooth to check out.

Excellent customer service. Our eye exams only took about 20 minutes tops for my husband and me, both. I cant remember any of their names, but a SUPER sweet lady helped us pick out our glasses and process payment and everything. She was a little slow, but I prefer that to feeling rushed when Im dropping over $500... We went to pick up my husbands glasses the next day and two younger gentlemen in glasses helped us. They were SO FUNNY! and handled the rush they were dealing with very well. As a manager in retail I was very pleased! Theyve clearly seen the negative reviews left on google and done EVERYTHING in their power to combat against it. 5 out of 5 stars! Dont let the google reviews fool you, folks are just more inclined to leave bad ones than good ones. But like I said, coming from retail, I was very very impressed by their efficiency and customer service! Much better than previous eye exam experiences and Ive been wearing glasses for 25 years now.

Really disappointed in this location and their service. Before I paid it was a smooth fast process to get me in for an eye exam and to pick out glasses but that is where the pleasant experience stopped. After spending money on hardware without insurance they never called to let me know my glasses had arrived and when I finally called to ask about them not only did it take 20 mins on hold for anyone to pick up the phone but they seemed like i had inconvenienced them in some way by calling before making a 35 min drive to get there.Update: When I arrived to pick up my glasses and fit my contacts I was told I have to make an appointment for the contact fitting even though I was told I could pick them both up at the same time after speaking to them on the phone prior. When I asked why I was told that if it wasnt true brandon started to get rude claiming he never told me that and that he dosnt do anything with contacts and did everything to get me to leave instead of just owning the mistake and apologizing. Now because of the unorganized staff who apparently dont communicate i have to make a third trip unnecessarily to pick up TRIAL CONTACTS that i already paid for. That is another day I have to waste dealing with something I could just do at home. I reccomend going elsewhere for your eye care needs as obviously they dont care after they take your money here.Update: I attempted to contact the store when the optometrist side returned from lunch and was hung up on after waiting on hold for nearly 20 mins. I tried to contact visionworks corporate offices for assistance and nobody seems to want to answer the phones or the virtual chat but they sure can respond to negative reviews fast to make them look better. This minor bad experience is turning into a nightmare fast over something that could have been fixed with a small amount of effort from the store associates.

Doctor and staff were awesome! The doctor was very thorough and the staff took their time in helping me with the contacts and glasses fitting. They explained all of the lenses options for my glasses as well as taking time to go through the glasses that would work best with my high prescription. Not only were they very knowledgeable about the products they offer, their customer service was outstanding!

Meandered into Visionworks today while waiting on an Apple Store appointment. Am in town from Tokyo visiting parents and thought Id upgrade frames (cheaper in America) while here. They broke everything down for me plain and simple, provided extremely objective reviews on frames, advised me through the myriad of lens options I could choose, got me to a (great) price point I could accept on nice-to-have purchase, and then (heres the kicker) had me ready to go three hours later. Ive purchased several pairs of glasses here over the last few years and never had a bad experience. Earlier this year Brandon helped me find sunglasses and readers, and got both pairs adjusted to fit perfectly.My wife recently needed glasses for the first time so of course we came back. Shes had a great experience too. Bill (whos also been great) even ran through different options in the computer to help us find the one that worked best with our insurance.

The office shut down during while I was on my trial pair of contacts & they will not give me my rx to order contact due to my rx not being finalized. My insurance paid for my exam & I cant order contacts. All other locations are open in my area, but this one. They owe me a refund or rx.

I was able to get an appointment time that was really convenient for me. Everyone was friendly and polite and i was in and out pretty quickly without feeling rushed. I was even able to pick up my glasses later that day and got my contacts all for a great price! Great experience!

The staff at this location, including the opticians, have been incompetent in three of my four experiences. They’ve cancelled appointments without informing me, and ordered the wrong lenses. I will not use this location again. Two of these bad experiences were before the COVID-19 pandemic, so I think it is systemic with this staff.

This is the most uncomfortable place. The girl up front and Brandon are entirely negative and rude. They do not care how they act in front of customers. I went in to pick up my sons glasses and Brandon says it wasn’t done because of the lab. He goes back there and yells at someone in their lab saying I was upset and waiting. I wasn’t upset until then, I was early to get them. The guy in the lab told me he’d get that out as quickly as possible. Brandon roller his eyes, said something to the girl he was working with and they both started laughing. I waited about 15 more minutes, got the glasses and was leaving when the girl said she was sorry, the lab guy was behind a lot of the time. I said it was fine, I was actually early. She rolled her eyes again and said whatever.... and that she was tired of dealing with it.If you aren’t happy with your job, leave. I won’t be back there.

They sincerely suck. Ive been without my glasses that I lost which were perfect, for about a month in half. & they still cant get my prescription right. They say get use to them when I had the same exact pair for half a year, A YEAR! & now i cant see where Im going, when to turn on my blinker, anything. Because they. Mess. Up. Every. Time. 400 dollars down the drain. Im getting my money back. Beware of Desiree & Lynette. They are rude! Brandon is the only helpful man myself & friends, & FAMILY go to see. Over all they suck.

I walked in to his place never having an eye exam before, just looking for some readers that would get me by. By the time I walked out, I had a full exam and left with prescription glasses that helped me see more clear than I ever could. The staff was so welcoming and friendly and really made me feel comfortable, which is important for someone who had never dealt with this stuff before. They were all so knowledgeable and were able to have my order ready according to my schedule. The fact that each employee has worked there for over a decade, really says something about his business. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with an optometrist. This doctor--I believe his name is Sneed--was so condescending and rude I was unable to sit through five minutes with him. Since it had been a year and a half since my last eye exam (instead of the typical one year renewal period,) the doctor went on a diatribe about how he couldnt enable me in my abuse of [my] corneas. He asked me what I thought the term extended-wear contacts meant, and belittled my response by telling me to envision a company came out with a brand new Ziploc bag people could sleep in overnight and asking me if I would buy one and give it a try. All I could say to him was wow as I got out of the chair and exited the room. If you, like I, have no vision insurance and want to spend $120 youve been scrimping and scraping to save on being made to feel small and worthless over your inability to afford more frequent medical care, this doctor is your guy.

Ive come here for glasses twice for my daughter and both timea had a great experience with everyone, especially Brandon. Hes helpful, friendly and was so patient with my daughter who was not behaving!

Incompetent staff. I wish I could give this place negative star. My husband has been waiting for almost 4 (FOUR) months for his contact lenses only to be told that they didnt have them. When we first went there we had to wait an hour or so just to make sure everything was okay and we were told it was. We waited a few weeks and came back and was told they will call us the next day first thing in the morning by the receptionist of the clinic. She never did. Today, after almost four months, my husband came back again and was told they never have submitted the order and thats it. No explanation, no apologies for their failure to do their job. Just that they didnt submit the order, we know it is covered by insurance and we do have great insurance. They just didnt submit the order for the contact lenses and that is it. What a bunch of incompetent jerks. They could have called us and let us know that they failed to do it, but NO. They reassured us it was okay when we went there and then made us wait all this time for nothing. Stay away from this place.
