Her knowledge, customer service, and friendliness is outstanding - she never made us feel rushed and helped us both pick out something that not only looked great but felt comfortable. The customer service at this location was excellent and worthy of note. I came in to get a new prescription for contacts which I needed in a rush for an upcoming vacation. Despite being the last customer/appointment of the day, the staff was SUPER kind and helpful - they put in the extra effort to make sure my contacts arrived before my vacation date, for which I am extremely grateful.Thank you very much!
They never mention that frames come in different sizes, or that they use a poor quality anti reflective coating. I’ve purchased glasses at Walmart that after 10yrs the lenses are still perfect.
Not happy at all. Sent my son there today as his glasses broke. His spare glasses are over 5 years old and are giving him major headaches and he can nearly see through these old glasses.I see on the website there is a 500 pm appt available today. The receptionist laughed at him when he asked for an appointment for today.We will never shop there again.Customer Service is horrible!!!
Not at all happy to hear that my 82 year old mother, who had just purchased a set of glasses 3 weeks before, stopped in because one of the screws fell out and all she needed was help to put a screw in for her. The receptionists were extremely rude and told her she needed to leave them for 24 hours to be fixed. Can you tell me how she would have driven home without a pair of glasses? She said a very nice gentlemen eventually stepped in and fixed her glasses for her. As a note, this isnt the first time I have heard that these girls were extremely rude.

As a first time glasses wearer, the entire process was simple and easy! I got my first ever pair of glasses here. Everyone I talked to was kind and helpful.A great employee named Evan helped me learn about the whole procedure from picking out frames to lens care and even explained how the prescription numbers are related to the internal workings of an eye! Very friendly and informative!
My son had his first ever eye exam right before starting kindergarten. Sure enough he needed glasses. We had gone to an optometrist in our medical group who was wonderful. I called Visionworks to see if they had frames for small children. They confirmed that they did, and said I could come in later that morning.When I walked in, Allyson had pulled a couple frames for my son to try. She was great at finding the right fit that day. Then once we got the frames she helped fit them properly.I LOVE the support and service we received. I also love the replacement and protection plan that came with the glasses. My son fell one week after having his glasses and scratched both the frame and lenses. The protection plan covered the full replacement of his glasses.Needless to say, youll receive great service here!
I had an issue with my lenses, General Manager Allyson told me to come in at my convenience so that she could resolve. Came in an hour later and she ordered me new replacement lenses no hassle, even did a free repair on my old pair of glasses on the spot. Excellent customer service and they take my insurance!
Front desk staff could use some customer service training. Rolling your eyes at a customer becasue a form was not filled out at check in but completed before my appointment time is not acceptable.
We had to get an extra pair of contacts for my son while we were out of town due to him losing one and not having extras. They were in contact with our hometown store and had what we needed for no charge. So glad they were able to help out! Aretha was so helpful! Thank you!!!

I ordered the glasses here specifically because they could have them ready for my daughters trip. The response was sure not a problem. I order the glasses. Called yesterday about pickup and was told the glasses wont be ready until 6 days after the trip starts. I was also told I should not call as they will call me when they are ready. Wow. I wonder what other lies they tell to get people to buy here.
The worst possible professional organization. They lose glasses, loose prescriptions and are only concerned about their sales. I concern for patient time and convenience Surprised that they have been in business this long
Had an exam with nice Dr that explained changes on my vision and purchased glasses .Great customer service.Everyone from front desk booking my apt. And optician that waited on me were .Both knowledgeable about my insurance benefits and the best type lenses for my prescription I have recommended them to friends. I get many compliments on my frames!

I bought a great pair of glasses here abut a year ago and for the 1st time had to go back for a warranty claim on the frame itself. Dr. Consigli, Allyson and Bob exceeded my expectations with their customer service. My eye exam was thorough, Allyson picked out the perfect frames for my face and Bob finished off my paperwork in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place for anyone in need of glasses, sunglasses, contacts and any other vision needs.
As a walk in they switched my broken frames for a new one under warranty within 30 min much appriciated
I dont understand the reviews about poor service. I go in frequently to have my glasses adjusted. I may have to wait a few minutes but everyone has always been helpful and professional. I have worked with a few different people who have helped me select frames and found them to be helpful. I wouldnt call it 5 star service, but for a suburban strip mall chain, who makes time for walk in adjustments and can accommodate eye exam appointments within a week of calling, I really cant complain.

I am very pleased with VisionWorks in Franklin, MA. Yes, they are busy and may not welcome you right away, but I felt very comfortable and not rushed. My daughter received glasses for the very first time there. The staff member who assisted us explained what the difference is in glasses. And helped us choose the right ones for our daughter, without spending a fortune. No complaints here!

After a lifetime in glasses, just had my first VisionWorks visit. It will not be my last! All associates were friendly and asked if I needed assistance, but I was waiting for Allyson -- and she was worth the wait! Not only did she help me choose frames, but she explained which ones would work best with my prescription and researched a Transitions lens option for me, as well.Allyson was with another customer when I picked up, but saw me enter and let another know I was there, then came by to see my new look.Im happy to report that not only do I LOVE the glasses, price and service, but Im able to write this with my progressives on, which I havent done in quite a while.
Had an eye appointment earlier this month at VisionWorks in Franklin with Dr. Tieri. Exceptionally nice guy. I requested to not get the dreaded air puff test and he was able to accommodate. Checked me for glasses and got the prescription dead on. I just picked them up and theyre fantastic. Also I was able to have a photo of my taken instead of having a dilation which was a huge plus. Would recommend! Thanks.

I had come to VisionWorks years ago because my insurance wasnt accepted anywhere else and I never was impressed. I have new insurance again that is only accepted by VisionWorks so I found myself here again. Although the staff is kind and the doctors are punctual, I feel that something is missing. There was so much confusion with my contact order- I was originally told that I couldnt try contacts without another appointment and that I couldnt get glasses if I was getting contacts. Since my rx didnt change, that was fine. But then after the third time I went in (a follow up from when I got my trial contacts), that all changed. So I ordered glasses, then was told my insurance wouldnt cover both because I wasnt ordering them at the same time, and then that changed again. I was told my contacts would be in in one week and my glasses in two. My glasses arrived in 6 days and my contacts were never ordered. This place is just so unorganized and I feel like there is a huge lack of communication. Im honestly afraid to pick up my glasses because all they did was put two dots on the lenses when I tried on frames and then ordered them so who knows. Next time, Im ordering online 100% and I recommend you do the same.
Consistently bad service. My family have been going to this place the past 10 years on and off. Some of the staff is still the same. They never welcomed us with a smile or recognized us as long time customers. When you pick frames you get pretty close to the face of your customers, talk to them, they come back to pick up, try on, adjust, and repair. It is just so disappointing as a long time customer, I guess loyalty does not matter. In addition to that I see the same frames in the store I have seen years ago, same type of glasses, low quality but expensive. We already switched to a different eye doctor from this place because they charge extra for contact lens measurements, we also purchased glasses from other stores nearby but stopped by yesterday to see if they changed. They did not. Rude staff, poor quality, impersonal.
Never thought getting glass could be fun. Allyson found my aunt a AWESOME looking pair of purple glass,she feels so hip!!! My aunt then turned around and had her find her a cool pair of sun glasses. We had a great time. The rest of the staff there really helped to validate our choices ! Would definatly reccomend this store to any one needing glasses!

I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Consigli produced a perfect prescription. Her technician staff is excellent helping with tints and sizing. I struggled for 5 years with bad prescriptions from other practices. They are on their game experts. Thank you!

I had my family there 3 eye exams 3 glasses needed. Dont have a lot off money. I was talking to my wife about getting a basic pair of glasses when I was rudely interrupted by one of the front desk girls. She said rudely the glasses are all they same and it doesnt matter on the price sorry. I almost flipped out. Then later I had to call around for my sons one lense that they didnt have not did they try to help me after 2 stores of calling then they tryed a store. It seems they get a percentage of the glasses they sell and felt like they where upset if I didnt buy from them. Worst experience ever. Will never go back after the one year warranty is up. Front desk really needs needs to quit if they dont like there job or get someone that cares about there customers. Eye doctors where amazing.
I did not sign for them to do the pictures of my eyes, it costs 40 bucks, I get my bill they charged my cc for the 39.99 even with me not signing the slip stating they can do it!What a ripoff. Just tell people you charge them and have it done, done lie and make it seem it’s an option where you must sign for it!!

After trying to order new contacts online i discovered I had not seen the eye doctor in 2 years. When i called to schedule an appointment with Visionworks they were able to get me an appointment (based on my schedule) within days. I called to apologize to them as I was held up at work and was not going to make my appointment. I asked for the next available appointment because I only had 1 contact in my right eye. The next appointment was 3 days later...BUT the woman called me back and told me she has a contact she can hold for me in my current script so i was not without a contact.Being in Customer Service myself, this truly was great service! Visionworks went above and beyond to truly help me out. They truly put me first! This goes a long way for me!

I had the worst service (or should I say non service) at Visionworks Franklin MA. I went to pick up my contacts on Sept 27th around 6:30. Walked in and two ladies in their 40-50s were chatting at the desk. I stood there for at least 2 minutes before they even looked at me. Once they stopped chatting I had to say hello and ask for my contacts. One lady said, Name? and walked away to get them. She came back and rudely dangled them in front of me without saying anything. No Thank you, nothing!!! My entire family uses this place but last night was the rudest Ive ever seen them. This is something I might expect from a teenager...not a mature woman.
Don’t bother showing up if you have eye med insurance because it is out of network. Pearl vision has eye med covered and a much friendlier staff.
This is the best vision option and opportunity in the area. The doctors, the opticians, the front desk personnel and the onsite laboratory are all 100 percent on point. All your vision needs are easily met here by the entire staff. Thank you stacey, Allyson, bob, sandra, nelita, Aretha, evan, jim and all the doctors for an exemplary professional experience. They know glasses and contacts inside out!
Just had the worst experience at Vision Works in Franklin. They made a mistake and put the wrong lenses in my glasses, not only did Stacey at the front desk basically say I was a liar she said this isnt like Dominos where you get a new pizza when you get the wrong one. Seriously this will be the last time my family get glasses at Vision Works.
Please DO NOT go to this place. I had my appointment there and it was really difficult to get my contact lenses . It has been 3 month and I haven’t being able to get them. I would give 0 stars if I could. The worse is when you call, staff gives you an attitude. Terrible place. Never going back.
Giving two stars for excellent care from the eye doctor. Got my free glasses as supported through my insurance. The woman working there seemed quite annoyed with me for not spending money. Really rude. I get you need to make money to thrive, but then dont make these deals with insurance companies. And do. Not. Take your frustrations out on me. Im just trying to get by. Just like you.
Do not go to this visionworks. They have terrible customer service. They dont communicate with their customers regarding the status of the glasses. I had to call muktple times to know the status of the glasses they never called us to let us know. The first time u called a week after the promised date they said they received the wrong glasses and that they have to reorder them with another promised date. A week after the second promise date I called they said they were ready. After they told me my mothers glasses were ready we drove to pick it up and it was never sent out. I was very upset to the point I just asked for a full refund. I will never return to this visionworks again.

Just like the two other reviews, the staff was NOT friendly, courteous or helpful. The two other reviews were done 2 mths ago and 7 mths ago. I was there yesterday (11/2/16) and it hasnt gotten better. I am going to by-pass management and call corporate!

EVERYTIME I called about contacts I was told Id get a call back and I didnt get a call. I myself am busy and was not always able to call or was not always thinking of it when it was them that told me theyd get back to me. Now my last left contact is not comfortable anymore I was told theyd have a trial pair for me for today (6/20) I called and theyre not in yet. So now I have to wait to leave for a 2 hour drive until they call me back when they arrive and Im highly doubtful that they will make me a priority even though Ive been dealing with this for I believe a year now. I know they cant speed up delivery but I dont like that I was forgotten over and over.

It was just a phone call. When a customer calls to see if they accept an insurance and she responds with Do you want to get free glasses was so inappropriate/rude. My son needs prescription glasses to see.
