I was at the Cool Springs Galleria to buy glasses specifically for working at my computer today and had a fantastic experience. The store was busy so I worried it would take a long time, but their staff moved everyone through quickly yet without making anyone look like they were being rushed. Special shout-out to Kara who is incredibly helpful and kind. She really made my experience so pleasant and quick. I chose to return to LensCrafters because my ophthalmologist loved the quality of my lenses at my last check up. They great service just made it even better.

I have shopped there multiple times and I received the best customer service out of all of the LensCrafters that I have been to locally. They have a good selection of frames and they do their best to make sure you are taken care of. I had Claire help me out a few weeks ago and she was amazing lady who answered all of my questions and went over pricing with me. I would highly recommend anyone to go there for their next pair of glasses.

And its my 2nd time Coming here and the 1st time was a year ago I can tell you this after my next appointment it will be my last Since I run a business its Very inconvenient for me, Not to mention with covid going around again and they want me to come out again And dont care about the safety of their customers.

After dealing with Walmart for glasses (which wasn’t terrible it just wasn’t special) switching over to Lens crafters in the Cool Springs mall was completely worth it! The customer service was outstanding from the first second I walked through the door until I left. I had trouble getting my insurance squared away but the store manager was able figure out with a phone call what I was eligible for. After I picked out my frames Neal helped me through the process of picking out lenses and other options. This store has no doubt earned my business for all of my future glasses purchases. Combined with the value of customer service and quality of the product having the optometrist (Dr. Lee) next door is extremely convenient.Cool Springs Lens Crafters is the best experience around!!

Could not take my order because computer down. I drove 25 miles and all woman said was I could wait for a call to come back . That would be a total of 150 miles if I ordered and picked up. Same mileage as driving to Chattanooga. No offer for my inconvenience if I did that. Bad customer service here and at Green Hills location. I was a long time customer and she may have changed my mind with and extra $50 off for my trouble. Other places have better customer service

I just had to share- I went in with my husband to update his frames. The mall was packed, it was 100 degrees outside- and we showed up rushed and not in the best frame of mind for this errand. But, when we arrived the staff was so kind, skilled and gracious that it ended up being incredibly easy. The expert staff knew WAY better than me what would look good on my husband and I am very grateful for their service! 4 big thumbs up from our family!

This Lenscrafters has some of the most kindest and sincere people! Samantha the manager came to my rescue after my sons frame broke and another store wasnt able to help me,even after spending hundreds of dollars with them. This made my day and my sons day, after he saw his repaired frame! This will be my store from now going forward!

There arent enough staff to keep up with customers on the weekends. I had frames picked out and my Rx ready to go, but still waited over half an hour just to get my glasses measured and ordered. The staff also lacked the tools to measure the Rx of my old lenses for comparison. That was a first for me. Ive been wearing glasses for over 15 years. First time going to this Lenscrafters, though Ive gone to their stores in other states. The only reason to go there is the good selection of frames. You may be able to buy your frames there and get lenses at your regular eye doctor for a better experience.

The staff I’ve dealt with is polite, but they don’t know how to adjust frames.. my lenses never stay in!!!! Always popping out a bit at the top of the frames.. and they are crooked. I just want straight glasses that have lenses that stay in. I don’t want to keep wasting my time going to get them poorly adjusted.

Ive been purchasing my eyewear from Lenscrafters for over a decade now. Always received fast and efficient service. I do hate that they got rid of the 1 hr lab as it was extremely convenient. Now you have to wait about a week, which isnt too bad. However, one thing did disappoint me. I always liked that they had a vast, ever changing inventory. The latest in designer eyewear. Imagine my dismay when I saw the frames I purchased 2 years ago, still on display?! They never used to be like that. They used to have a whole new inventory at every season change. Previously, you would NEVER see the same frames season to season much less year to year.

To start with their Customer Service leaves much to be desired. I purchased a pair of Oakley prescription sunglasses from them 9 months ago. The lens began to have cracks in each area where they cut away a portion of the lens to make them fit the Oakley frame. They suggested that it was because I had left them in my vehicle and they had gotten too hot. The only offer they made was to sell me new lens. I declined letting them know that if were to purchase anything eye glass related it would not be from them. If you are expecting any support/service after the sale this is not the place to find it.

They are the worst!! Never order glasses here. I ordered glasses 7/21/17, and they told me it would be 7 days to get them. 8 days go by with no call. I call in and they tell me oh sorry...they should have told you it would be 10 days 11 days go by and still no call. I call back and its oh this is special order it will be 14 days today is day 18 and still no call from them ever. I call them again and they say sorry theres a delay. Dont know why. They should ship on 8/19. Thats 30 days for a pair of glasses they sold to me under the impression I would get in a week. The worst part is they never even called me to say hey we know youre waiting on these, heres whats going on with them. They clearly dont care at all about customer service. At least they gave me a refund....supposedly. Just save your money and time and go somewhere else. I think there is a visionworks in the same mall.

I have been going to LensCrafters at the Cool Springs Galleria since I first moved to Tennessee, and each time I go for my annual eye exam my experience becomes worse and worse. Each time I go, there always seems to be a huge problem with my insurance coverage, which isnt some strange or obscure insurance provider. The last eye exam I had, along with frames and lenses, ended up costing me 400 dollars out of pocket up front, and then I have to contact my insurance provider to be refunded and its become a huge hassle. They have never kept up with my insurance records or gotten it right, ever. Its infuriating. The first thing that drew me to LensCrafters (and what kept me going despite the pain with insurance) was that it was simple and straightforward, I could pick out some frames, wait for an hour or so, and then come back and pick up my glasses and leave. Supposedly, they no longer do that at this location. When I was here previously they said that I would need to come back to the mall in two weeks to pick up my glasses, and I asked that my glasses be shipped to my house. I live about two hours away from the mall, and I am a student therefore I dont have a lot of free time to run up to Franklin. He (his name was David, very nice guy) said that would be no problem at all. Fast forward a week and I get an email saying my glasses need to be picked up. I bite the bullet and start driving anyway, and I call to make sure they WILL have the glasses. Then the lady I talked to was like Oh! Were supposed to mail them to you! like YEAH I KNOW WHYD YA EMAIL ME. Anyway, she and everyone else there was polite, I got my glasses, everything turned out fine. The other thing that annoys me is that the only reason I needed new glasses in the first place is because the ones I had from lens crafters broke, and they refused to repair them because my prescription was expired, or a year and a few months old. Sure enough, after my newest exam my prescription was the same and I was out 100 dollars (and its 150 for people who use contact lenses). The two main things I still like about lens crafters is that their technology is great and the people there seem to be polite for the most part. However, everything with cost and insurance and an overall lack of communication has driven me to seek my eye exam needs literally anywhere else. If you dont mind paying a fortune for the convenience of getting your glasses overpriced in the mall, go for it, but for people who really just need to take care of their astigmatism I implore you to not go here. Its just been a constant headache for me and my entire family.

Experience with LensCrafters: Not Acceptable. Text below describes it all, but the one star is ONLY for LensCrafters.Summary: H.D. Calvert M.D. & Associates (Eye doctor adjacent to the Cool Springs Lenscrafters): Front of house processes need work. Back of house (where it really matters) was great. Cool Springs Lenscrafters next door: Took less than 5 minutes to anger me to the point I wont buy glasses there. Big mistake, Lenscrafters. Huge.Explanation:Eye doctor, front of house: I made an appointment online for 10AM. Got an automated email confirmation, asking me to arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. No sweat. I arrive 10 minutes early, to find the door locked and the lights out. Employees are arriving, and seeing me standing there, but they go in, can close the door behind them without a word to me. Finally someone arriving at least says something like, We open in a few minutes at 10, at which point I remind her I was instructed to arrive 10 min early, and ask if they are going to leave me standing out here, or at least let me come in and sit. Only then do they let me in to start the paperwork. SMH!NOTE: They dont dilate and the papers you sign authorize them to upcharge you for services (like retinal imaging) that they deem needed. I wrote on my paper that I wanted prior notice before any up-charged services were applied. I was going to pay for retinal imaging anyway, but asking me to preapprove whatever they want to do is bogus.Eye doctor, back of house: Mike took over and was extremely friendly and efficient. He kindly explained the upcharge for the retinal imaging, and I happily agreed to it. He used all the needed equipment, including the Clarifye bits to conduct my exam quickly and apparently effectively. After that, I only waited about a minute for Dr. Selinda Van Dell to see me. She was patient, and thorough, answering all my questions, except P.D. which is the distance between pupils. She gave me what the machine estimated it to be but said they dont do that, and referred me to Lenscrafters next door which would. (You have to have the P.D. in order to purchase glasses online if desired). I specifically asked to walk out of there with copies of all my records (not just the prescription) and digital copies of the retinal imaging. Mike made all that happen, except for the P.D., and he walked me to Lenscrafters.Lenscrafters: The guy asked me what I wanted. I told him I wanted to know about the specials and get my P.D. measured. He said, that P.D. is something we measure to get glasses going, but we dont just do that independently, then stood there silently. I asked, Are you going to tell me about the promotions? He spend 20 seconds or less on this then stood there silently. This treatment made me feel a bit like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman being snubbed while shopping on Rodeo Drive. I excused myself and walked back over to the eye doctors office. Mike saw me and helped me immediately. I politely told him the situation and that I thought this was B.S. He went next door, got the ruler, sat me down, and in 5 minutes or less had my P.D. measured for me. Simple.I was going to shop around no matter what, but would have probably given Lenscrafters the business for the convenience factor, personal touch, and affiliation with the doctors office. As a responsible consumer, I certainly was NOT going to let Lenscrafters try to KEEP me from shopping around!! Bad move, Lenscrafters.Overall the experience with H.D. Calvert M.D. & Associates was good, though. I will probably be back to them.

I got a text message last night saying that my eye wear was ready to be picked up and to stop in anytime. I checked their store hours and it is from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. I took an early lunch from work and drove 30 minutes to get them just to be told that they could not give them to me. The reason was because the optometrist was no in yet and wouldnt be there until 11 am. Complete waste of my time. I replied to their text message and let them know that they should change the wording of their message and do away with the stop in anytime part as it is misleading. Last time I will ever use LensCrafters again. Not to mention that they did away with glasses in about an hour, which is why I went to them to begin with - web search for that specific topic recommended them.
