They are very sweet and courteous, and they fixed my car and it runs so good now. And he told me up front what was wrong and let me decide whether to go ahead. Very. Professional guys.
I used them last year... I paid out the WAZOOthey overcharged me on service and items after they were done supposedly repairing my car they didnt show me any of the old items that they pulled out honestly I dont even know if they fixed it.... I definitely got the runaround thats the feeling I got after I paid way more than I should have...!!!
They did a great job quickly fixing my daughters car.
Those guys fit me in and could have taken advantage but offered an alternate solution that saved me money.
Great service, fair price. I will be returning.
Awesome mechanics all the way around
So nice and trustworthy!
I wouldnt take my car to anyone other than Bruns and Son Auto Repair located in the Hunter area. They are honest hard working guys, who always put their customers first. After many past frustrating experiences with local dealerships, I highly recommended them. They went above and beyond for me, as I am sure they will for you as well!
It is hard to find a mechanic that is honest. Bruns and Son are great, they will be the only people to touch my car.
A great father and son business really good at what they do and reasonable price
I had random rumbling and grinding on my car. I took it there simply for the convenience of it being right next to my house. I asked them to give me a break inspection, to see if thats the problem. They charged me $320 for a brake caliper hose that was leaning on the wheel well. When I asked for my old hose, they refused to show me it.The next day, there was air in my lines, and a constant grinding noise. I took it back, pissed off, and tried to explain to them they obviously screwed something up, since my car was now in worse shape than before. They then tried to sell me ONE break pad to be put on for $270(!). (Brakes are ALWAYS put on in pairs, per axle).I immediately took my car to Midas (in Middletown) and contacted my 1SG, also a mechanic for 40 years. He said brakes were undoubtedly not bled, with paperwork from Midas backing it.The mechanics at Midas then did their own brake inspection, and was stunned. The rotors were burned from metal on metal contact, and were completely eroded. They also inspected the back breaks, and said one pair was literally brand new, one I never signed off on.I doubt Bruns and Sons even replaced my hose to this point, or if that was even the problem.Never take your vehicle here. Theyre awful and play on the common persons lack of knowledge.P. S. The other 5 star ratings from Melanie Barkerr, Gary Johnson, and David Rushing are all personal friends. Theyre word is very slanted.
My car broke down next to this car shop so I had them repair it. They tried to charge me $1050 for changing my fuel pump. I called the VW dealership and they said theyd do it for $500. After much arguing, they lowered the price to $950. A major rip off. They started doing the work on the car before I gave them the go ahead so I was stuck with them. Avoid this place. I paid double what I wouldve at the dealership.
