We love our local businesses and craft coffee is something that we cherish every week for our family ritual. It was a little disconcerting that the man taking our order was rude and dismissive when we requested information about seasonal drinks. While the other barista attempted to make up for this with a quick correction, it left a crude taste in our mouths. Suffice to say, we will simply take our business elsewhere, where the staff has a more “refined” attitude.
Ordered the Texas Spirit (Specialty drink) and it was good but nothing special. Paid nearly $8 (without tip). I will likely come back but definitely on the pricey side compared to the competitors in the area.
Best coffee and atmosphere in town, love the contrast in lighting inside and outside of the shop during daytime. Remind me about my favorite coffee shop in Vietnam
Lovely little coffee shop in a great location! atmospheric, relaxing and lots of seating. The coffee is wonderful but if coffee isn’t your jam, their tea is excellent as well as the Brazilian limeade- and many other unique drinks to choose from. Also, some of the best breakfast tacos, scones and other pastries- all made in-house.
This is one of the best coffee shops in Ft. Worth. The espresso is sensational, and the coffee drinks are outstanding as a result. The pricing is on the higher side, but its still reasonable.I recommend getting a latte. The pastries are also home-made and are great. This is a great study spot, as well, with plenty of seating available.
What a great little coffee bar! My wife and I came because we saw that The Dusty Biscuit was visiting. (They say theyll be opening a brick and mortar store soon! 1/7/2020 @ 105 S. Main, Ft Worth) Our coffee and beignets were *so* delicious, and the presentation was awesome. Very friendly, too! Go visit both places; you wont regret it.
Consistently friendly staff, delicious lattes, and pastries. The WiFi is also good, as well as the ambience. Definitely check this place out! 👍🏼😊
Loved my experience at Crude! The coffee was well balanced and calibrated nicely. Their pastries are very proportional, not too sweet and not too much bread. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to all coffee lovers. The space is also quiet, so it’s a wonderful place to get work done.
Cute shop, friendly cashier, excellent blueberry scone and chocolate croissant, very tasty Good Morning Vietnam coffee.
Suuuuper good lavender, honey latte, food case looks amaaazing, cool atmosphere, nice decor
Crude coffee is my new favorite coffee shop in Fort Worth. The coffee is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Sometimes coffee shops opt for stylish industrial seating whose metal chairs have me reaching for the ibuprofen. Crude has lovely cushy velvet and leather chairs that doesn’t ruin the beautiful atmosphere and allows me to leave the ibuprofen at home. In addition to this, their food is mouthwatering... just take a one look at the gingerbread cookies. I’ve already been back twice in one week.
Very tasty latte. Slightly pricey. Would rather support local still.
Perfect coffee! Their seasonal flavors were delicious and not overly sweet. Absolutely correct balance! And the little shortbread cookies they served with them were a delight! Brought me right back to Childhood and among the best Ive ever had. Plus their breakfast taco was with all real ingredients. How often do you eat a breakfast burrito and have a stomach the feels happy afterwards?! What an awesome coffee shop
Fort worth is just doing it and doing it well with the local Coffee offerings.Got their peachy somethine coffee and it aas so flavorful without being overly sweet lioe starbucks. Also go their Vietnamese coffee, my husbands fave choice for a pick me up that works quick and well. They give you a little cookie/biscuit on the side that is slightly sweet and soft.Service was friendly and quick. They were helpful and patient too when i become indecisive. They have a seasonal menu as well which is always great to have.Crude is an elegant twist to the traditional coffee shop venue, but not when it comes to prices or excellent service. So people, please be classy and keep your feet off the furniture. I cant stand when i see people ruining other’s furniture over time bc of their poor manners and inconsideration. One, dont ever do that with indoor furniture and especially if its any kind of cloth or velvet. I saw a lady doing that with her bare feet and it was disgusting.
Following the suggestion of a friend I stepped into this mellow space and ordered a delicious Mexican-spiced hand crafted coffee. A little before nine only a few tables were occupied. By ten the ample space was full. Still, I found the atmosphere very conducive to the work I wanted to accomplish. The prices reflect the quality of the product and I assume a commitment to compensate employees fairly. No more expensive than the chain, but much higher quality. I have plans to return in two days.
Immediately greeted by the employees when we came in. Theres plenty of seating and the menu was neatly laid out. Theres also an into graphic explaining how much and whats in each drink that might help new comers/coffee drinkers narrow down their choice. Milk alternatives for a slight additional charge of .75, oat and almond. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, iced to go and really enjoyed it. The wait time was minimal but I was also the only order up at the moment. Most other people in the shop were working on their laptops. I really dig the vibe and the Ambient music was a range of jazz, contemporary and modern r&b. Ill definitely be coming back through.
This has to be one of my favorite coffee shops in the DFW! They have the perfect trifecta for me in coffee shops: great coffee, delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere. I love trying coffee drinks off their seasonal menu, and they make amazing breakfast tacos (vegetarian and carnivore) or homemade pastries, cookies, and cakes! You can tell its all made with love and fresh! If you need to work remotely, they also have several wall outlets throughout the shop, and the interior design is beautiful. Finally, the staff always seems nice, knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions about coffee!
Amazing coffee shop!!! Their special coffees are out of this world!!
Loved this place! The servers were super helpful and the food was delicious. We came for breakfast and had scones and the best cherry danish Ive ever had. The atmosphere was great too....super relaxed. They also had a strawberry ginger hot tea that I devoured...super yum. Definitely stop in!
Great cozy place for a cup of joe. I ordered Good Morning Vietnam and it was very smooth and pleasing to the pallet. Along with the freshly made in store blueberry scones. The chairs at the breakfast bar were very comfortable. I highly recommend the coffee shop in Ft. Worth. They have only been open for a year and the staff would love for you to visit.
A hidden gem on South Main! I love the coffee and atmosphere here. This is a great place to get some work done. I tried the Just Peachy latte which sounds weird but was actually very tasty! I love that they have some more unique offerings. Next time I’ll have to try the Crude & Stormy which is cold brew with ginger beer.
Excellent shop to enjoy a delicious coffee, ☕ and pastries 🍰, breakfast taco 🌮 too
What a great Google find! Easy get to from the highway and so worth the stop. I picked up the almond joy iced version and the blueberry lemon scone. Ohmygoodness that scone was amazing! Great coffee, cool vibes and friendly folks! Thank you Kim
You should update your hours of operation, especially if youre going to start closing at 2:00pm.
Very good coffee and the best pastries Ive had!
Cute and relaxed coffee shop in Near Southside! Friendly service and a great mocha.
Loved the coffee! Super cute shop & environment!
I was not at this place you got your information wrong
Crude really has it all: fantastic coffee, cozy seating, friendly staff, and killer food options. The coffee is very consistent and the espresso has a really great flavor. Additionally, every food option Ive tried has been amazing from bacon cheddar scones to handmade cherry pies, to breakfast tacos. Its always fresh and absolutely delicious. To me, this is where Crude separates itself from other coffee shops where the food is an after thought. Here, it seems like each dish is carefully crafted and nothing is sold that isnt absolutely delicious. Just good enough doesnt cut it here. Its all fantastic. Crude stands out in a very competitive Fort Worth coffee scene.
Always love my trips to Crude. Great coffee and matcha. Love that its a family run business. Great place to sit and read/work
We have been coming here since they opened and love coffee, specifically craft coffee. My husband was a barista for a craft coffee bar and we go to as many as we can. This place is cozy and cute. The coffee and specials are always great and fun to try. Personally, Im a fan of the lavender latte and the strawberry cookies are an absolute treasure. The baked goodies are done in house and she must be a goddess because everything Ive had there looks like it came straight from British baking show. We go there a few times a month, go visit them and enjoy a sweet treat and sip of something delightful.
New spot in Fort Worth for coffee dates!Environment: Classy coffee lounge feel. Plenty of seating. Great spot for a coffee date. Classic Christmas music was playing the night we came in.Customer Service/ Experience:Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are coffee lovers and bring their experience from previous coffee shops.Coffee:Espresso- I got one that was was a single origin from Central America. Served with sparkling water. Once pulled, it was smooth and velvety in texture. Bold and balanced taste.Seasonal drink menu- I got one called “cranberries”. It was iced cold brew with root beer and cranberry juice and topped with rosemary. It was bright and refreshing. My wife got a spiced pear latte with almond milk. This was a welcomed alternative to the pumpkin spice drinks commonly available elsewhere. It was spiced well and had a clean pear flavor.
Great craft coffee shop! I got a featured espresso, an Ethiopian that to me tasted like red grapes. An amazing breakfast taco and a cortado with the milk based espresso. My sister (not a coffee person) got a chai and breakfast taco. It was all excellent. The space was beautiful and the two baristas were friendly. Great experience
Nothing to be mad about. Its nice and its good.
Came here when The Dusty Biscuit was doing a Beignet Bar pop-up. This is a nice place with great vintage-inspired furniture and interior design. Its cozy and bright with big windows letting in natural light. Great coffee with reasonable prices comparable to other cafes.
We love this little coffee shop. Its tucked away in the up and coming SoMa district and can be crowded at times, but is always pretty quiet...when our kids arent with us. They have a nice, but not huge, selection of sweet and savory baked goods to go along with some excellent coffee options.Kids had: strawberry cream cookie and some of my Vietnamese coffeeWe had: Good Morning Vietnam and Iced Cold BrewIf youre in the area, its a cant miss.
I had the pear spice latte and it was delicious! Very nice ambiance on the inside but it is very quiet. I stopped by on a Saturday night while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant and it felt like a library which is perfect for studying!
My favorite cortado in Fort Worth by far. Bakery items are good too.
More like RUDE COFFEE! I walked into this place nobody is wearing a mask..... but you have to wear a mask to order coffee Lol makes no sense to me... the employee there didnt offer to give curbside service either.... best to take your business elsewhere
Lovely place! Great coffee and scones. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and given recommendations on the menu. The work ethic and passion for this business really shines through. Will be returning.
What a hidden gem. Dropped in for a morning meeting with the crew from work and ordered a drip coffee. Theres no hiding of you cant get standard drip right. Let me tell you, they nailed it. Theirs was delicious, fruity with no bitterness. I need to go back to try the condensed milk version. Coworkers said the espresso and breakfast sweets were excellent, too.
Very good coffee. And good, peaceful ambience.
Best americano in my life
Everything here is exceptional from the coffee and pastries to the staff. The seating was all incredibly comfortable and they have some very informative books on espresso for the coffee aficionados. You can tell they care about the quality of their product.
Beautiful ambiance. If coming for a flavored coffee, they’re pretty good. If you prefer unsweetened coffee, it’s a bit too bitter.
This place is really cool. I would totally go here again. i had an Iced Tea that cost $4+ which was a little steep. Pun not intended, and a drip coffee. The total was $9. That is a bit high, but overall had a really good experience. Nice place, and i will support again.
Every time I come it is a must that I try a pastry I haven’t before and every time I sit in silence, eyes closed thinking to myself “I could die happy now”.Then I’m brought back to the reality and realize that I still have more of their delicious treats to try, so it is not my time to go! Seriously though the coffee is great, and the pastries are spectacular for lack of better word. Debating getting another as I type this 😅
Excellent coffee, wonderful execution. Beautiful interior design and decor. Specialty drinks are truly unique and enjoyable. Doesnt get loud even when nearly full.
The cappuccino is very rich and smooth. My wife got the vanilla latte and said it was super delicious. We had a couple of the baked goods as well and they were delicious all the way to the last crumb.
This is an amazing place to enjoy a great cup of coffee and get work done! I would highly recommend anyone to come and experience it for themselves.
Very nice place.
Try the in-house baked lemon blueberry scone, as it was excellent. I also tried a mocha which was good as I expected it to be. The staff was very friendly as well. Im definitely going to go back and try some other items on the menu.
1st time, very relaxing.
This place has quickly become my favorite coffee shop.Generally very calm, coffee is consistent. Nice light level. And the wifi is solid.Baristas are very friendly too.
Good service. Nice chill atmosphere. Like most independent coffee shops, the default blend is a blond roast. I wish there was a dark roast option. Then it would be 5 stars.
I’ve looked for a great coffee shop in Fort Worth for months now and I finally found it! The atmosphere here is awesome and the coffee/snacks are even better. Strongly recommend!!
Great place! Very calmed and relaxed. The service was great. I totally recommend it!
Soooo good 😍I got the crude and stormy cold brew and a cherry danish 🤤🔥
Quick, kind customer service and excellent coffee. we got a vanilla latte and a spicy mocha cappuccino.
Good vibe. Clean place with cool chairs (thats important) their signature drink, dark and stormy, was delicious with a lot of different flavors.
Delicious espresso with really cozy seating options. The window seating is lovely with all the natural light! I recommend the vanilla latte.
Excellent coffee and good pricing! The atmosphere is excellent as well- never overly crowded and a great small business to support.
Great little coffee shop. Casual crowd and decor. One of the most flavorful drips I have had in a long time. Only con for me, as a student, is their hours
Good coffee. Good interior.
Great coffee! Housemade desserts! Everything I’ve had is delicious! Staff are very friendly and really nice atmosphere
Great coffee but I have gone a few times and each time I order Iced its 80% ice in the cup and employees seem to not want to take orders.
Excellent coffee, excellent staff, and excellent atmosphere. Probably my favorite coffee place in Fort Worth right now.
Always a great Good Morning Vietnam coffee for me. So sweet. Lots of choices for iced brews as well, as you can see.
Stumbled upon this place by accident. Glad I did. Excellent coffee and scones. Got the Good Morning Vietnam with a shot of lavender.
Great coffee, awesome baristas, and a fantastic atmosphere! The Texas Spirit and a peanut butter cookie is the way to go!
A little small but super cute and good coffee. Parking might be a little congested at certain times of the day. Price is moderate. No outdoor seating.
Probably the best cup of coffee and cake I have ever had! I would drive from Frisco just to relax here!
Great tast
Tried several coffee bars in the area. Liked this one the best. Great coffee and pastries.
Delightful, comfortable, friendly coffeehouse with great coffee and delicious treats (sweet and savory). A wonderful place to hang out on your own or with friends!
Best dairy-free lavender latte Ive ever had 😍
