It was so energetic breakfast for start the day. I like that kind of fresh products.They served everything fresh such as new cooked actually. Drinks Also special and so fresh. Atmosphere is nice and comfortable to eat something.I highly recommend it.5 stars..

Mothers days breakfast was great! They didnt offer a special menu, but the menu they have is excellent. I had a big breakfast, the steak, and eggs. If youre starving, it comes with Ribeye steak, potatoes, eggs, and toast. We also got the Red Velvet French toast, also include cream cheese fillings inside. Kids menu fits the needs of kids as well. They dont take reservations, so typical busy get there early. Highly recommended!!

I literally couldnt complain about anything but parking. The food tasted as if we ate at the restaurant! We enjoyed everything. The over medium eggs were perfect and none of the breaded items were soggy. Couldnt ask for a better experience.

Staying at a local hotel... Needed a solid breakfast place. I recommend Yolk. Clean, healthy atmosphere, excellent service. Lots of seating inside and out. I was solo, sat at the bar. Open concept kitchen. Wide variety of items on the menu.

I came here a ton when it first opened but I havent been in a couple years. Everything was amazing like I remembered. I love their orange juice it tastes so fresh. The cinnamon french toast was the best I have ever had.

We got a caramel cold brew (amazing), a strawberry orange juice (amazing), countryside skillet (amazing), and the chicken and waffles (amazing) lol. The gravy was really good, plenty of flavor. The chicken was PERFECT. The juice was homemade, the coffee was the perfect strength/flavor. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. Id recommend.

Wait time on the weekends is long. Yolk is a must for brunch when we are in Downtown. The Pot Roast Benedict is fall apart tender and the Banana Blueberry Pancakes with Granola and Honey are delicious. Perfect with a carafe of fresh Orange Juice!

Yolk is the place for brunch period! I was impressed by their huge menu selection of breakfast and lunch food. You cant go wrong with the Chicken & Waffles. Yolk actually puts bacon bits into their chicken Waffles which it absolutely brilliant! They also have a nice patio outdoor that we didnt get a chance to experience. The service is good and the food quality on point.

The service was great that’s why it 3 stars. I had the Iron man. Omelette was edible but not tasty. What the cheese grits lacked in cheese they made up for in cracker black pepper. Not my thing. The pancakes were good.

My wife and I went this morning we were very much underwhelmed with the service. The food might be great, but both of ours were on the cold side. I had a frittata and she had the pot roast Benedict. The presentation was nice, just think some of the flavor was lost with the temperature. Several times the server passed our empty glasses with no recognition. If I’m going to drop $50 on breakfast I shouldn’t have to ask for more coffee or water.The patio seating was wonderful. The weather was great. We’ll give it another try, but it may be our last if service is similar to today.

Overall good experience. Was busy and had to wait a bit but the service was good. Food was good, not the best, but still good and the portion and quality was appropriate for the price. The atmosphere is bright but they make it very apparent that theyre a chain restaurant. I got the chicken and waffles - not traditional as it came out with gravy and an egg on it, but not bad - definitely not the best place to get chicken and waffles in the south. The corned beef and hash was a better plate than the chicken and waffles.

A very cute breakfast, brunch and lunch place right in the heart of Fort Worth Downtown. Lovely menu selections. I am their egg Benedict fan. And red velvet french toast is to die for. Our server this time, was very nice and warm person. Please make sure on weekends, do put yourself in line with Yelp waitlist. When you arrive check with the host so they mark you to be present there (i did forget doing so) still they honored our waitlist as my name was showing in their list. Coffee was a bit weak but beet and orange juice and strawberry mimosa was awesoMe. Definitely one of my go to brunch places.

My family was pleased with their meal but the restaurant was incredibly hot and crowded, especially during a pandemic. Also It could have been a fluke, like a mess up in the kitchen, but the gluten free pancakes were the worst tasting gluten free items I have ever tasted since having to be gluten free for almost 3 years. They also were not cooked completely, very much raw in the middle. We didn’t make a fuss because we had been there so long and the waiter was trying his best but the experience was definitely disappointing

Had two days this week. We tried the Oreo pancakes, croque madam, chicken and waffles and salmon scrambler. Everything we had delicious. I would absolutely love to go there again. Coffee is not folgers, its their own blend drip, which is pretty good. First day our server was super chatty and friendly. Spent alot of time chit chatting with us. Second day we were with a big group so not so much.

So this is my first experience ever eating in Fort Worth and Ill say that Adrian from the moment when came in made this the best experience every. With his humor and knowledge of the menu I ended up with the countryside Skillet with over easy eggs at his recommendation Im normally a scrambled egg but the yolks added a lot of flavor to the fresh veggies. I dont know who chose the coffee but they need to be slap it was so good. You can smell if from the street. All in all the best experience I have had in a long time of me reviewing restaurants. Took me a 1hr 30mins to get there but Ill be back.

Great service and atmosphere but the food was lacking something 😕 It could have been what we ordered so Im open to going back again and trying something else. On the yumm side was definitely the fresh squeezed oj and surprisingly the sausage 🤷‍♀️. We ordered some bacon waffles but they were a little doughy like donuts and lacking the pizzazz expected in a bacon item. Most disappointing was the chilaquiles 😔 the sauce was bland and the scrambled eggs were just put on top with no sauce or flavor. Some of the other things coming out of the kitchen looked good like the stuff with fresh fruit on it. Its worth another try because the banana nut bread french toast sounds boom! Its just sooo much sugar so I need to be ready for that.

I’ve gone to yolk a couple of times now, this time around I decided to get the Yogurt with fruit. The presentation was beautiful but it wasn’t as tasty as it looked. Only a bit of yogurt and lots of chunks of pineapple pieces. Not what I expected but other food items on their menu are great!

When another vendor misplaced my order for breakfast for our corporate retreat, I reached out to Yolk to see if they could help solve my breakfast emergency. Not only were Robert (and staff) EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, they pulled together a catering order for 6-8 people within about 10 minutes. Disaster was averted, and every single one of our team members enjoyed the delicious food Yolk provided. A HUGE thanks to Robert and team for saving my skin and ensuring complete satisfaction. Im officially a Yolk fan for life!

Exceptional customer service. We walked in and the host (curly haired guy) was so nice. It was busy busy, but they had seats immediately available outside. So we headed to the patio. Our waitress appeared a few minutes later. Hannah, the awesome waitress, was very kind and super attentive. My boys LOVED their food. I had the crepes, and was a wee bit disappointed in the texture. It was a nice downtown Fort Worth experience.

The atmosphere was great as always. They had initially told us it was gonna be a half hour wait, but they ended up getting us in after about 10 minutes. The food didn’t take too long to get to us after ordering and was delicious. Definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful brunch place in the heart of Fort Worth! We went on a Saturday morning, so we had about an hour wait, but they text you when they have a table ready so you’re able to walk around Sundance Square during your wait. This place is totally worth the wait! The food is AMAZING. Yeah, it might be a little pricey but they give you huge portions. We were all in love with our meals, and the service was fantastic too. Definitely a must do when in town

Had breakfast here today and the experience was a good one. First thing first, you will have to be in person to check in. Please please get there EARLY. It was me and my two boys and our wait was an hour long wait. But as soon as it was our turn to be seated we were greeted and taken to our booth. The food is good but i didnt like my sausage links and seemed like they were not all the way cooked. And my sons happy cake pancakes were a bit dry. Other than that to have breakfast at yolk was truly an experience. The colors of blue and white and the signature bright yellow is Beautiful, the space is very cozy the lighting is perfect and its downtown so it feels somewhat fancy lol I cant think of another word for it. All in all it was nice. We will be going back.

Restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere, background music was a tad loud but not obnoxious. Staff was quick and friendly. Menu size and options were great! Had the South of the Border Benny, portion size was fantastic for the price as well as the flavor. Left feeling satisfied with the dining experience. Would eat there again and recommend to others.

Coffee was A+, Food C+ The cook got my order wrong, the waiter noticed the error still brought me the wrong thing then offered to take it back if I really wanted him to. After I said no he did not return to the table till he quietly slipped us the check and walk back off. Overall a very underwhelming experience, give it a shot I guess but dont expect to much. Oh, what was brought to me was wrong but very pretty.

I hardly ever eat all of my food. Well today was one of the few times it was worth it.The red velvet French toast was also good. If you have to wait... the food is worth it. Make sure you get on the yelp waitlist prior to leaving home.

Im not sure if that waiter Adrian knows what good customer service is....or maybe it was cause we werent buddies with him. My wife has been talking about this place for a while and we finally tried it. All I can say is that we are not coming back to this place even if they had free food.

This was flat out disappointing. I went with two friends and was super excited with all the good reviews. I got the salted caramel latte and the only testable thing was sugar, no espresso flavor at al but as long as the food was good I’d be fine with it. I ordered the breakfast Mac and cheese and it came out cold. My waitress was not back so I could ask them to heat it up so I just ate it but for the price I would expect at least warm food definitely not cold food. My friends omelette was good but mine was not and for $20 would not reccomend. Note: waitress was good she was just busy

Ordered on a whim from uber eats. I got a breakfast burrito and my girlfriend got the red velvet French toast. The food was great!!! That burrito had so much flavor and the French toast roll up situation was just amazing. And real maple syrup not just corn syrup. Very pleased will be coming in person soon.

The food was fantastic -wish Id taken a picture of all of it- and the service was just as good. We came in half an hour before close, got seated and service right away, didnt wait too long for food either. Each got a cup of coffee, which is free for refills. Server came back a few minutes later to inform us that someone dumped out the rest of the coffee. The owner then came and apologized for that and offered us each a complimentary espresso drink. Great service, wonderful food, outstanding choice for brunch. I highly recommend.

Today was my very 1st experience eating at The Yolk. The food was FANTASTIC, but I didnt give the restaurant 5 stars due to customer service. There customer service was something to be desired. Our waitress Dahlia started off being friendly, but you never tell a customer you cannot accommodate a service request because your restaurant is too busy.I know how busy your restaurant is and didnt mind waiting an hour to eat there.I ordered a two egg combo with hickory smoke bacon, cheesy grits, and 2 pancakes. HATS OFF TO THE CHEF!! This is a must eat at restaurant for breakfast and brunch!! Next time, I will request not getting the same waitress. However, I will be back!!

Oh my goodness! This is the BEST breakfast/brunch spot I have ever been to! It was rated highly, so we decided to wait our turn in line to be truly amazed at the choices and offerings of this quaint restaurant. Our party of 6 ordered as many items as we could to try an assortment of the menu. Every single item was a hit! In fact, we loved this place SO much that we returned the next morning and did it all AGAIN! Incredibly delicious food, great service, and the coffee was always hot!

The food was really good, but it took a very long time to get in AND get our food. Although the reservationist was aware that there 4 or 5 in our party and told some would be arriving later, we were told no one could be seated until all arrived. Ridiculous! We had a senior with back problems. As we waited, many other group (none were Black) was seated. We werent even paged as we were advised. We had to periodically check for ourselves. Even after all of our arrived, others were seated prior to our party. Smells like bias t I me.

My experience with this restaurant was very disheartening. My family and I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Yoke. After waiting over an hour in line and making reservations for a table we were told we had to sit at two separate tables after we were told by the host that our party could be accommodated. We kindly asked if they could find a better arrangement for us because we wanted to sit together as a family and we were told no by the manger. He was very rude and unwilling to provide a service to accommodate our party after we were told we could be seated.I am writing this review because my family and I visit countless restaurants in the DFW metroplex and this was by far the worst service we have ever received at a restaurant.

Food is good today, but my God, the radio is so loud. Cant even have a conversation. Shouldnt be like this on sunday morning. Will definitely wait to eat outside next time.

Let me start off by saying, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BREAKFAST. Without a doubt, in my humble opinion, one of the best places for that 1st meal of the day is THE YOLK in Sundance Square. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch (it closes at 2:30pm). When I eat breakfast at The Yolk I usually have the All Star Combo but this time around I simply ordered two eggs over medium, cheesy grits, bacon & pancakes. My sister ordered the corn beef, crispy potatoes with an egg on top along with pancakes. Trust me when I tell you theres no way you will leave this place hungry. The food is Delicious, service is friendly and fast. The closer you get to the weekend, you will more than likely have to wait in line, BUT I think its well worth it.

Our waitress was great and we didn’t even mind the wait however the temperature in this place was very harsh making it difficult to enjoy our food when it came out. We walked out of here extremely sweaty and rushed eating because it was very hot. The food wasn’t the best, potatoes seemed undercooked, pancakes were a bit dry, and some of the other things we ordered didn’t have very much taste. We like trying new spots but won’t be back here.

Cute breakfast joint in downtown Fort Worth. They have a good menu selection and also serve alcoholic beverages (mimosas & bloody marys) as well as a few house designed craft cocktails. I have the California Omelet that was very good. Prices are a little expensive but overall I enjoyed this place.

Three years after my first visit, its still just as fantastic and delicious as I remember it the first time.Yolk is a great restaurant for breakfast/brunch, but make sure you get there a little ahead of when youd actually want to eat - 10-20 minutes prior during the week, and up to an hour on the weekends with how busy and popular it is.Make the wait, it is well worth it!

Unfortunately, despite the well inspired dishes and how nice my waitress was, the food wasnt prepared very well. The potatoes on my Farmhouse hash were soggy and the corned beef lacked a seared texture. The pancakes were undercooked and gummy. My cappuccino was poorly executed. My review is critical as I was expecting more, but it was a decent place and would go again. I think most people would enjoy the trip.

I wanted to treat my girlfriend to a nice breakfast place in town and thought this would be a great choice! Definitely regretting ordering food from here.The quality of food is NOT worth the price. The menu has a lot of items that could use improvement.My Order:Biscuits & Sausage Gravy with Scrambled Eggs with Cheddar Cheese Side Of Grits- Gravy taste like it was base with cream of mushroom... Just had anodd flavor and very salty.- Scrambled eggs were rubbery and dry. Cheddar was just put on topinstead in blended into the eggs. Was expecting a creamy scrambleand got a dry scramble.- Grits tasted SO bland and were VERY over peppered. NO FLAVOR whatso ever and Im a huge grits lover!Chilaquiles with over easy eggs and Avocado- Being from a Hispanic background I really feel like this is one of themost simple breakfast meals you can make when you have limitedingredients. Tortilla chips are meant to add a crispy texture to thedish which is far from that with Yolks version. Red onions were overpowering and the dish just looked like mush. Unappetizing. Sadattempt at a classic Hispanic dish :(Pancakes are more like a bread texture VS a fluffy cake... I would highly recommend the owners here re-evaluate the recipes and kitchen staff moving forward.

Best place in Fort Worth to grab breakfast! We had the biscuits & gravy, waffles & fried chicken, and a side of red velvet French toast! This place does everything just right - not too little, not too much - from the deco to service to food. Portions were just right, plate done well and of course, food was delicious! My favorite is the red velvet french toast as it has the perfect balance of flavors and texture.Our server Dolly was attentive, warm, friendly - gives you a familiar and comfortable feeling. She always intuitively came over at the right time, never breaking mid-sentence into a conversation like so many servers tend to do. Kudos!Hope to come here again.

We did an overnight in Fort Worth and decided to try Yolk for breakfast based upon the other reviews. I had the Farm House and my husband ordered the breakfast mac and cheese. Both were very good and super filling. They have a really good biscuit here. The coffee is good (small cups though) and we just really enjoyed the visit. I love the atmosphere and it is a great way to start your day.

So we were really excited about trying this place out today. We told the hostess we had 4 adults and twins In a stroller. We were put on the list and waited about 30 minutes which isn’t bad for a Sunday afternoon right? Long story short we waited our 30 minutes and we were called in only to be told by the person who was to seat us that “we don’t accommodate strollers.” We had our twins with us in a stroller so of course the only option is to leave. We understand if you can’t accommodate kids even though that seems crazy in a service industry. We just really don’t appreciate having to wait thirty minutes and then being told they can’t accommodate us. The worst part of it all is a lady walks out behind us not even a minute later with a single stroller. Very confusing, unprofessional, and disappointing.
