Extremely friendly staff!! Great sandwiches. The grocery side had some very reasonable prices. Wish I lived closer. A good little hometown experience.

Called in for some butcher paper for the 3 pound brisket Im making and they said come on in well have it waiting for you when you get here. They didnt even charge me! These are the nicest people Ive ever met when it comes to a business and Ive never been there before. I will definitely be doing business with them in the near future!!! I love this place!!!

RPG stands for Really Pricey Grocery. I wanted to love this place, and there are some good qualities - like their bottled wine selection. But this store is very pricey and the value just isn’t there. $5 for a tiny iced tea w/no refills? $8 for a small bag of chips? The sandwiches are okay, but still pricey for what you get. Will only go again for the wine.

Super clean and trendy grocery store, deli, and amazing wine selection.Staff is absolutely amazing and very helpful.Store is small but contains pretty much everything you need for an amazing dinner or date night, even if you don’t want to cook.

Great place to meet a friend for a glass of wine or coffee. I loved the former Roy Pope because they stayed open for 75 years and were one of the last of the corner neighborhood grocery stores like I grew up going to as a kid with my grandmother to get ice cream.. but!I’m in love with the new and improved Roy Pope! Outside they pulled out all the stops with a new sleek parking lot and landscaping and as a bonus they opened up the side of the store with a bistro type patio for relaxing and catching up over a glass of wine or favorite beverage.I love to people watch as neighbors walk their dogs and children ride by.The sandwiches and hot plates are delicious too!There are just a few kinks to be worked out as they are brand new; while waiting in line it can be confusing who has ordered and who hasn’t? But they’ll figure it out..there is a great selection of last minute hostess flower pickups to go, along with cheeses etc~Nice addition to keep Fort Worth friendly.👍🏼

The new clean and fresh atmosphere makes for a pleasurable shopping and/or dining experience! The food is fabulous for lunch and dinner, great coffee and great wine selection. We were so excited to see the new RP. The sandwiches are awesome (as well as the guy behind the counter, Jace) and love their wine and cheese selection. Really pumped about this place.The only problem I’ve had so far is that one night at about 8:45 my husband and I were on a walk and stopped in for some custard. Behind the counter were two girls - one of whom appeared to be a manager. They informed me they had already turned off the custard machine and when I was like oh but it’s only 8:45 the response I got was a very rude “we’re allowed to turn it off at 8:30” there was no attempt made to be accommodating or apologetic … they just sold me a soupy custard. Having owned my own small business, I know how important good customer service is. If that had been me, I would have apologized for the inconvenience and given my customer the soupy custard on the house. The rudeness of the girl behind the counter was something I’ll remember for long after the custard was finished.Bummer, Roy Pope.

A step back into a simpler time where the people are all friendly and helpful and the store isn’t over an acre inside. Everything you need can be found here. The butcher shop & deli have excellent prepared foods and monster hamburgers. Might be the best in town!

The RPG BLT alone is worth the trip! Small historic neighborhood grocery store that just reopened after a major face lift. They have a smallish deli but good lunch sections and a good list of salad offerings. Butcher offerings also worth a visit. Extensive wine selection appears to feature wine you won’t find just anywhere. In store coffee and tea bar is doing land “office business” on a rainy Memorial Day.

LOVE seeing Roy Pope make a massive come back! They really did a great job, whether for a business meeting or lunch or dinner or a quick wine/beer run, or the list could go on! I will be back weekly, the service and the mood and feeling of being there is just indescribable. This is a great re-addition to Fort Worth.

Had the roasted chicken, potatoes and broccolini. DELISH! Not sure what’s on that chicken but it’s slap ya momma good. Also grabbed some pasta salad…and it’s the best ever!!!! SO thrilled this gem has added a little twist with the same charm. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. We will be regulars for sure!

Extremely friendly staff. Great sandwich, I had the Italian and it was big enough for a good lunch. The grocery party had some prices that were high and some that where very reasonable. I would love to live a block or two away and walk here to have lunch on my days off. A good little hometown experience. Parking in back.

When they pull out the Meat and cut it to my Requested Thickness it throws me back to a time of Custom Butcher Shops. NO prepacked meats here. The atmosphere and Personal Touch are worth the drive. Always a smile and did I mention they have their own brand of Preserves and Jams? Delicious!

Oh my goodness, I heard about this place from one of their employees Eric, he catches my bus when he gets off and always brought me samples of the homemade sausage links, when I tell you they are better than Denmark you better believe me. This is the place to go! Staff friendly and stepping in the store takes you back in time, the food was good too! I bought a lunch, the ribs was off the chain delicious.. going back to pick up more sausage blueberry maple mmmmmyummy! 😋

Even though theyre a little pricey on normal grocery items, I am giving them 5 stars. I had read an article about their burgers so we decided to check it out.From the moment we walked in, we were treated as family. Their staff are all very friendly and really seem to enjoy what theyre doing. They have a great produce & meat selection! They also have prepared food such as pot pie, quiche and chicken casseroles.After taking a few moments to decide, my boyfriend and I both chose the Italian deli sandwich and it didnt disappoint. We will definitely be back!
