My service appoint was 10:30am and I was on-time and I did not have to wait...My Service Rep was Scott... Scott was very good/specific about what service I needed... I clearly understood what work would be done & also that I would be communicated with if anything came up during the service process.Scott was the most pleasant Markleys representative Ive worked with... This is not to say the others were bad, just that Scott was was noticeably more helpful, pleasant and he made me comfortable...
I just want to give a shout out to Jay and John-Paul. We just bought at new Honda from these gentlemen and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Great experience buying a new car. We visited the dealership several times and Gary was helpful and did not pressure us to buy. We shopped around (with Honda and competitor car makers) and Markley ultimately was the best deal. Everyone we dealt with at Markley seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were happy and upfront about the total cost. Also gave us a very fair price for our trade. Highly recommend Markley.

My opinion of Markley Honda has changed since my last survey. I own a 2018 Honda CRV which has approximately 65,000 and is now on its 3rd set of tires. I am very careful with my maintenance, and was not happy when I had only owned the car just over a year and had to put a second set of tires on the car.The alignment of the rear suspension has always been in question and just meets specification so nothing is done. Upon putting my third set of tires on the vehicle I was promised that the alignment would be monitored; however, this was an empty promise.I brought my car in yesterday (09/16/2021) for regular maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, etc) and for some reason the automatic alignment sensor (which you drive through when you enter the garage) did not register my vehicle. When I came in to pick up my vehicle, I inquired about the alignment. I was told that it was not checked and that it had been missed. After prompting the service attendant to please check it, it was run through the sensor which monitored the front wheels, but was not correctly registering the rear wheels (where I have the problem). I then had to request to please check the alignment of the rear wheels.I was promised that my alignment would be checked by Markley; this was not done. I am not looking for anything for free, and if I need to pay for an alignment each time I bring it in, that is what needs to be done, and is cheaper than having to purchase a new set of tires every year. However, I should not be the one to prompt the service department to monitor an on-going problem I was promised they would monitor. Very disappointed with the attention to detail and overall integrity of the service department.

It is rare that I have even been ambivalent about taking my car to a dealership for service. Markley Honda has far exceeded my expectations in terms of customer service and how they care for my CR-V. I even liked my sales person, Luis, here. The service advisors are friendly and knowledgeable and do not try to take advantage and over charge or over recommend services. I am extremely happy that I purchased my Honda at Markley and that they take good care of customers even after the sale. Best experience!
This review is coming a bit late, but it is no less heartfelt. We (my wife and I) traveled to Ft. Collins for pleasure this past May, as our 1st trip post-pandemic, and part of our logic was to look for a larger vehicle to fit our 64 son comfortably in the back seat. Researching online, I found a Nissan Murano at Markley Motors - Honda, in Ft. Collins. We visited the dealership to check out the car and were introduced to Drake Griffith, and from the moment we were introduced, the buying experience was an absolute joy! Drake was incredibly professional but went above and beyond. His personality was so friendly, so welcoming and so sincere, it made the whole experience quite memorable. Drake allowed us to take the vehicle for a day, to get a feel for it and we really loved the car itself, and yes, plenty of room for our man-child in the back seat! ;-) We then told Drake that we would like to purchase the car and he was so efficient in getting everything set up. He did tell us that we wouldnt be able to take the car home when we were leaving, as the dealership needed to get it ready and take care of a couple of minor issues, but that we would be able to have it a day later. My wife said she would stay and drive it home when it was ready. So, we went and enjoyed Ft. Collins for the rest of our stay. What happened next was awesome and amazing; while we were at lunch that same day, after leaving the dealership, Drake somehow found us where we were having lunch (though we did give him some general clues as to where we thought wed be), and told us that they would have the car ready the next day, so that we could drive it home, as scheduled... incredible! Drakes friendliness, helpfulness and courtesy and his going way above expectations are what set him apart. Thank you so much Drake and Markley Motors... awesome car buying experience!

I have been telling my friends and family about the great way I was treated here at Markley Motors INC. in Fort Collins Colorado, I live in Denver and it was definitely worth the drive.I got a 2008 Town and Country mini van and it runs and feels great, I just recently drove to Baja California for a week and drove back, the temperature in Vegas was at 120% and the vehicle did great not one problem.. I am so pleased with my vehicle and most of all with the way Me and my family were treated by these group of gentlemen… don’t hesitate to go there Markley Motors if you are looking for a used, or new vehicle…. Matthew responded to my inquiry about a specific model in stock very quickly. Upon my arrival at the dealership, I was greeted immediately and provided the assistance that I required. My sales person Natasha was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Jean was very personable and informative and quick to move me along the financing process as I was under some time constraints. Overall, my experience was positive and I drove away with a new Honda Passport within two days.
If I had the option to leave zero stars I would. My service at Markley service center on my 2014 Honda CRV seemed to be intentionally dishonest and fraudulent. I am writing letters now to Honda Headquarters, Markley’s President, Doug Markley, markley’s CEO/owner Carrie Baumgart and Markley’s General Manager Eric Baumgart.The General Manager, Eric Baumgart did call me right after my review. He made an appointment for me to come in and go over my service records on 11/03/2021. ( I had already met with the service manager on the day of my service on 10/05/2021.) He did acknowledge that something isn’t right. I am still not clear on why my service records did not match what they had on their computer. He will look into it. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because he did refund me for the services that were not needed.
I had a great 1999 Honda civic that finally died and wanted to stick with Honda. I wanted something with a little more trunk space and found the 2021 civic hatchback. First time buying a new car (always had used) and Matt was really helpful. The actual buying process was painless and not like the horror stories Ive heard from others.

Poor customer service. When I walked in, there was nobody in front of me and one service manager behind the counter. The service manager told me to wait and he will be right there. I waited about 5 minutes when another customer waked in front of me to check out. He took her and completed her paperwork and then left the counter. In the meanwhile, I could see about 4 other service managers walking around doing other things and no one acknowledged that I was still waiting to check in. I finally had to catch one of those service men on the fly and asked if he could help me out. He said he just needed to finish something. By the way, he could of referred me to another service manager in the area. He finally did check me in and took my key. All I was having done was an oil change and lube. After waiting 1 1/2 hrs, I finally had to search for someone to ask when my car would be ready. He told me they were just finishing up. Personally it would have been nice to come over to me after about n hour and give me an update. The oil change took almost 2 hours. Then at the end, I mentioned to one of the service managers that I needed some help with my navigation system. He said he would be glad to see if he could help. He gets in the car with me I show him the problem and he proceeds to see if he could resolve it. He was not able to resolve it, when I said, what could I do his response was, you may want to contact the manufacturer and left the car. This is a brand new car with only 4,000 miles, basically his response felt like this was my problem not Markleys. This was my first visit to the service center since purchasing the car and frankly if the dealership wasnt so convenient to my house, I would use a different dealership to service my car in the future.

I was searching for a used car and had been looking for a month. After working with so many dealerships and sales people I was so over the process before I even found what I wanted. Then I met Luke with markley and I couldn’t of been more happy. He was so patient and kind, he went above and beyond the competition out there. I again was over the car looking process at this point and was pretty open with him about that and he spent a week talking with me over the phone answering the thousand questions I had. He was always honest with me which I appreciated I decided to go in and check out the car and he made sure to hold onto it well I made the hour drive there. The sales manager Houng was just as friendly as Luke. He definitely helped us feel welcomed and was very attentive. They made sure me and my husband (mainly me, I’m the picky one) were completely happy with our experience with their dealership. I’m so happy I made the drive to go purchase my car with them, it was very worth it and I will definitely bring my car shopping needs here first next time.

The service I asked for was an oil change and a multi-point inspection. The manager came to me and explained that this is their 85th anniversary and they were giving away free oil changes. I was picked as one to receive a free oil change and there were no problems with my car. This is the first time in my life that I took my car in for maintenance and didnt pay a penny for it!

Had a great experience buying a CR-V through Gary at Markley Honda yesterday. When you decide to go out looking for a new car, this feeling of dread can come over you. But my wife and I were set at ease with the straight forward and friendly approach of Gary who explained everything important about the vehicle and answered all of our questions before and after our test drive. He has promised to help us in the future as we continue to get to know the vehicle. Determining a mutually agreed upon price went smoothly making us feel satisfied with our purchase. The next day, I needed to go back and retrieve an item I had left in my trade in car, and Gary was there to help me go to the car and secure that article. We feel very happy with our purchase and the process we went through to obtain it. We look forward to using their service department as they provide some extra warrantee protection and good pricing on oil changes.
In the last 8 years I have bought 4 different cars from 4 different dealerships. This by far was the best experience I had ever had with a dealership. I came in a little before closing hours on a Friday night. I worked with Tyler and Jason to purchase a brand new Honda CR-V. They were both very easy to talk to and work with. Neither were pushy, and both were very honest. They worked with me to find exactly what I needed and gave me plenty of time. I walked out with a exactly what I wanted. I would recommend anyone that is in the market for a vehicle to shop at Markley. They are great all around and are locally owned.

I took my 2020 CRV in because the AC wasnt working, which to be honest is a little frustrating on a car with 6800 miles on it. Working with my service advisor Matt, he was very attentive to the problem and working on a solution. Turned out it was a faulty part, Matt was able to find the last part in Northern Colorado, which also turned out to be the last part in the US because it had just gone on national back order status. He got the part there and the car out the door 2 hours after the techs determined the problem. I could easily be waiting for that particular part to be restocked and then make another trip to get the car fixed, but Matt made it a point to ensure that didnt happen.
We bought a CR-V from Markley Honda. We bought at a time when new vehicles are not easy to come by. The staff was extremely helpful a d patient while helping us find the perfect vehicle.
Mechanic had some trouble diagnosing my cars problem at first, but ultimately fixed it satisfactorily and under warrenty.

I recently had my Honda CRV in the Service Department to replace the recalled fuel pump. The next day the Emissions System Problem light came on. I texted my Service Advisor, Mike and he was quick to respond, accommodating, and understanding. I drove directly to the Service Department, they immediately looked at my vehicle, solved the problem and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. Staff is always courteous and helpful. I had a minor issue with getting a courtesy van ride home, but was probably a simple mistake. I was offered a Lyft but declined. I decided I would just stay. I went back to the Parts Dept. and had a really good discussion with Kolt (I may have misspelled his name). He gave me prices on some accessories I was interested in, and printed me a quote so I would have the p/ns and prices.
Our 2005 CRV need a warranty service repair, part was obtained quickly, appt scheduled, time estimate accurate, we got a free car wash and were on our way. Appreciated getting the same level of service I did when the car was brand new.
I had the most remarkable experience purchasing my new 2021 CRV from Markley Motors! I dread talking to sales people, but my experience with Gary Ihle was seamless! Garys knowledge of the vehicle I was interested in was so professional and his expertise was way beyond my expectations. I did not at any point feel pressured to make a decision. That alone is a new and welcome experience. Gary answered my many questions with patience and kindness. I doubt if I will ever visit another dealership.

Do not go here. They will tell you one price on a used car and then jack the price up the next minute. They try and rip off a young kids buying their first car. The car is way over Kelly Blue Book price and staff is dishonest. Don’t go here unless you want to be ripped off and taken for a ride.

We are on our 2nd Pilot from Markley. Hands down the easiest, most friendly people to work with. They went out of their way to find our 2nd Pilot in a market where vehicles are hard to find. Would recommend this dealership over all the rest.
I love my car, and the quality of work done is fine. But for every 3 employees on the service side, only about 1 seems to be doing anything at any given point. I scheduled my appointment, told them I would remain here, waiting. I was told on the phone 1.5-2 hours (appt at 9:30). Checking in, day of, I was told 11:40. Its 12:30 and a full hour ago I was told all was done, and asked if I wanted to change my engine air filter, which I declined. Somehow an hour later Im sitting here with no further communication. My car has been sitting in the complete lane for 15 minutes, I guess well see how long it takes for one of 6 customer reps sitting there to do anything about it.
They took good care of my Honda Pilot last Saturday. It needed service plus it was time for transmission and differential service as well. It was all completed in a timely fashion and I was pleased with the overall price. I would recommend Markley Honda for all you Honda needs. They certainly took good care of mine.

I went in because I found a coupon code for a $75 oil change, tire rotation, and (supposedly) a several-point vehicle inspection. The tire warning light on my dash had come on, and I figured I’d have them take a look at it while there. I specifically asked when I handed the keys over that they take a look at the tires, specifically the right front, so I could figure out what the issue was.I get the car back and am told the tires are fine. So fast forward to not even a month later, and the right front tire has kept going low. I don’t drive much, I’m on disability and don’t have a regular 9-5 so I had only put about 200 miles on the car since that “tire rotation” and oil change. I had to drive to Denver from Fort Collins for a doctor appointment within the next few days, so on a Friday I notice that the right front tire is REEEEALLY low, like 11 PSI low when I go to the gas station air machine. I immediately go to Markley, and am told that I have three tires with nails in them.Here’s about the only thing I’m satisfied with: they were of course able to get me in right away and give me two new tires and a patch on the third, to the tune of $320. I’m not complaining about the price of the tires. I know those are part of regular car maintenance. What I am irked about is why I was told the tires were fine when I specifically asked them to look at them and was supposed to have a several-point vehicle inspection (which included a tire rotation) less than a month and 200 miles ago? Did they even look at the tires? Did they even rotate them? Because how do you miss nails in three tires when you are supposed to be inspecting and rotating them? Of course they paid attention to all of the fluids that I’m “supposed” to have flushed and replaced - brake line, coolant, transmission, etc. It was made clear that those were urgently in need of being done. But the one thing I specifically asked them to look at? Yeah…Then, I get the car back with the new tires, and there is oil/grease on my floor mat. I have photos. What happened to those paper protector things mechanics are supposed to put on the floor of your car to prevent that very thing? And, there’s more…anything above 60 mph and my steering wheel shakes and the car wobbles.So no, I don’t recommend Markly Honda. And I won’t be going back there. They didn’t get what they wanted out of me- several hundred dollars to flush and refill fluids (my car only has 75,000 miles on it and is near immaculate) so I guess the concerns I had are not important. I asked Andrew before I left the first time, after the “rotation” and oil change, if I would be ok to drive to California. He said yeah, no problems. That was not true. Had I decided to go, I would have made it about 200 miles west and had trouble with three tires.

Your service department was great as usual. BUT, I didnt remember to mention this to Nancy when she called to ask about our experience. In order to fix our electronic screens behavior they recalibrated it (I think). In the process the connection to my cell phone was lost. I have an old-fashioned flip phone as that is all I need. When the service people repaired my electronic screens workings I lost the phone connection. I didnt realize that at first or I would have said something. I think the service guys should have realized it but might not have known that I couldnt reconnect it. I dont have a handy grandchild to help! I did get help getting the climate control working again. And, in the process of reprogramming my radio stations, I learned that I can get MSNBC and CNN on Sirius. That was definitely worth the inconvenience of having to reset the stations. Nancy Chase
I been to Markley several times, each time the service has not been very good, I always have to return to get issue resolve, dont know if the personwho works on my auto is in a hurry or what ?? but when I go to pick it up and drive off I notice the work was not complete, it time consuming
Mike Bickling at Markley Honda in Fort Collins, Colorado was great. My 2006 Honda Ridgeline decided on a hot day that the A/C did not want to work... Got an appointment right away and it was diagnosed within an hour. Service is great. I would recommend Mike and Markley Honda to any Honda owner.

Drake emailed me previously and truly paid attention to what my needs were and was able to address all of my concerns with honesty, no pressure and a great deal of knowledge. Ive purchased two automobiles from Markley Motors and it has been a very pleasant experience. They are fair, honest and professional. Their service department is also excellent. They definitely go beyond whats necessary to ensure you are a happy customer.
Everything I have experienced here has been first rate. Purchased 1 civic and 2 CR-V. The first CR-V was crashed by someone who wasnt covered by the comprehensive coverage. They did $12000 of damage reached out to us and helped us get into a new one. They were able to buy back the old o e and get the remaining balance in the new loan. The service department is reasonably priced and provides excellent service quality.
I’ve had my car in multiple times for the same electronic issues. In spite of my videos showing there is a problem they can’t replicate the problem and therefore it’s my problem. My car has a major electronic issue that has shown itself via the power windows and the radio. Maybe as cars become more electronic this is the way it will go but I just feel like I continue to wait until the next time it does it and I will be back in again. It’s a very frustrating situation. I’m already looking at other car models so I can unload this one ASAP. Every time I come to the service area and there’s a sign that says they were recognized for fixing problems the first time I have to bite my lip. Not in my case… not the second time…and probably not the third time.I will also mention I’ve had several service advisors but Mike has been wonderful. Problem wasn’t fixed but he really did make me feel like he cared and was exceptional with his communication compared to the other advisers I’ve had
Great service. My advisor (Tyler) was very friendly and accommodating. A little pricey, but you get quality parts and service. The starter that I had replaced was the original with 244,000 miles. Go Honda.
I worked with Luis and he was most helpful in providing the information we needed to decide on which car to purchase. We bought a Passport and are very happy with it. Luis is a professional and was a pleasure to deal with as was the dealership as a whole.
I recently had regular maintenance done at Markley and try to work with Advisor Mike B. I know hell treat me fairly and the work will be done well, which it was. A bit more costly than some places, but I feel better about having it done at Markley. Nice waiting area also, if you choose that over the free shuttle. Thanks everyone!

Had my vehicle service for two recalls the other day as soon as I left I had some sensors go off and said it needed to be taken to the dealer . Took it in this morning for an appointment that was scheduled, The service guy told me that it does not guarantee a time slot for actually getting serviced it just reserves a spot and that because the mechanics are on commission they’re not going to work on the warrantee services before other paid services? Sick. Then the guy tried to blame the service light on the weather that didn’t start until the next day, well after the light came on. Then I had pointed that out and he just shrugged his shoulders. Great service huh
Initially I did not plan to write a review but it seems that I will be having to go back to Markley for a 3rd attempt on a repair. 19 Civic had a recall for a fuel pump which was no issue. set up the appointment for 6/25. The repair took 4-5 hours which was fine. Fast forward a week later, 7/2, my car comes sputtering to a stop. My gas gauge read that I still had approximately a 1/4th of a tank left. Called AAA to get my car towed to the dealership. Austin (Markley rep) told me that they might not be able to get around to looking at my car until 7/5...and that they did not have a rental car option. Turns out that the fuel pump was not properly installed and that my gas gauge was reading inaccurately due to that. Fortunately, they ended up getting my car back to me about 6-7 hours later. On 7/3 I went to the gas station to fill up my tank and after fueling and starting my car, the range of the fuel tank read 1000 miles...so 1000 miles until empty (its not a hybrid). Called the service department and spoke with Trevor this time. Trevor said It should correct itself over the period of that tank of gas...or you can unhook the battery cables for 5 minutes and that acts as a hard reset.. Today (7/5) I decided to do the hard reset. The hard reset did work in regards to resetting the range meter...however, I have driven roughly 50 miles and my gas gauge is still showing that its 100% topped off in fuel. Typically, I get 400 miles to a tank, so the gauge should be reading that I have lost an 1/8th of a tank...but nope...gauge shows that the tank is as full as it can be. Will be calling Markley on 7/6 to give them a 3rd attempt at correcting the issue.I will be updating this as this process goes on and I am more than happy to bring up the rating but having 3 attempts on a repair is still hard to accept when youre the only Honda dealership in town.**UPDATE**I ended up calling Markley on 7/7 to set up a new appointment to have my car looked at again. On the same day, Eric (general manager) contacted me to assure me that they were going to get my car fixed and back to normal, which was a kind gesture and much appreciated after everything that had happened leading up to this point. I took my car in on 7/8 and was given a rental car in exchange. Terry (fixed operations manager) contacted me and told me that the part that was installed was faulty. He said that they did not have a backup fuel pump for my vehicle but that there was one at another location and that they were going to pick it up at that moment. When I told Terry that I might be busy later on in the day and that I might have to pick my car up after hours, he offered to drive my car to wherever I was at in order to resolve any timing conflicts I might have. My plans ended up working out so that I was able to go pick up my car. Upon picking up my car, they had filled the gas tank up to full (it was down to 3/4-1/2 of a tank when I took it in), as well as sent me a thank you card along with a gift.I always try to give companies and their people the benefit of the doubt, specifically the customer service industry as there are crazy customers in the world that might write a negative review over an issue that was self-caused. I do believe that this was just a random instance as anyone can see that Markley has good reviews overall . Markley went above and beyond in order to correct the issue for me which I am very appreciative for.

Very disappointing experience, and I will never do business with them again.Things started out fine, my wife and I found the vehicle we were wanting in their online inventory. Wed been scouting for a few weeks, and we finally found the model mix and price we were looking for, so we called ahead and scheduled to look at it. We were expecting this to be a very straightforward experience. It was not.The test drive went well and we decided to move forward, but the vehicle was missing floor mats. My wife asked the Sales Guy about this, but he assured us it had floor mats, so we continued on and started the paperwork. This portion went fine and was fairly straightforward. After this was completed, we were passed on to the Finance.This is where things went quickly downhill.Prior to setting foot on the lot, my wife and I had aligned how much we were looking to spend, and had also considered we may get an extended warranty if the price was right. She had significant issues with her previous vehicle, and we both wanted the peace of mind.So, enter Finance. From the very beginning, this guy is heavy handedly badgering us over getting a warranty. Thats fine, I get it, I even expected it. Unfortunately, hes not giving us any breathing room or any opportunity to even discuss anything between ourselves, and he becomes increasingly more condescending as the experience goes on. Im remaining as calm as I can, because this is the car my wife wants, and to me thats whats important.There are two different warranty options, and I am taking time to read through the terms of each because Im not going to buy a warranty without understanding exactly what is covered and what is excluded. During this, Finance is still trying to rush along the sale process, without giving us the opportunity to review. I point out that one of the warranties specifically excludes transmission issues, and he tries to reassure me it doesnt until I point out the exact text that says so. Well, we move on to the other one, and it appears to cover most everything, so we move forward with that one. Finance points out one of the selling points of this warranty is that it includes Roadside Assistance. Great, sounds awesome... Until I look at the fine print and it says this roadside assistance policy is void if owner has existing roadside assistance coverage. When I point this out, Finance suggests its fine because they wont know about it. I pointed out that this is insurance fraud and he seemed not to be fazed and indicated anything not covered by the warranty will be covered by The Markley Guarantee! Can I get that in writing? I didnt think so, so that means nothing to me.Whatever. My wife wants the car and I want this experience to be over. We complete the sale and get the heck out of Dodge (well, Honda). Our original Sales Guy meets us, gets us the keys, and we do one last walkthrough. We notice there are no floor mats, and now Sales Guy walks back his previous claims she says the car doesnt come with floor mats, but he can sell us some!Eff that, we got out of there.
Service was prompt and done on time. I really appreciated the rides to and from the dealership
