Great! My 85 vanagon broke down an hour outside of town and had my family (with dog) stranded. I had it towed and we stayed in Ft. collins for a couple days. Though they were backed up with repairs but they thankfully squeezed us in. The repair got us 2000 miles to home and was reasonably priced. Thanks for your prompt service and expertise.

It is one of the very few shops in our area that caters to the type of vehicle we have. Good mechanics, good customer service, good advice. Take your Vanagon there!

This mechanic shop is honest, knowledgeable, and gave me real recommendations about what maintenance is worth the money, rather than exaggerating what’s wrong to make a buck. I brought my Jeep in (with 200k miles) for an overall diagnostic, and they gave me the most helpful print out of what repairs it’ll need, at what mileage it needs to be done, and how much it’ll cost for them to do it. And I didn’t even schedule any repairs for that day- they were just giving me a comprehensive look at the vehicle! Such a positive refreshing experience compared to other mechanic places I’ve been!

They are always honest, straight forward and friendly in an industry where these qualities can be hard to find.We have been looking at a new (different) vehicle for my son, so of course we took it to Mr. Mechanic for the the buyers check. Plenty of folks irritated with me at this point (my son and the seller specifically) but I couldnt be happier. The buyers check revealed the vehicle needed $3k in repairs-soon. That gave me the info I needed to negotiate the price. Not every problem can be seen of course but I would not consider buying a car without this service. Best $90 youll spend.Not every vehicle problem is straightforward but I have always had great communication from them on the diagnostics and work. Prices are fair and the work is done right. They stand behind it too. Mike and the crew at Mr. Mechanic will take care of you!Parents, if you have a student at CSU, send them to Mr. Mechanic for their repairs. You need someone you can trust when you cant be there yourself. It will give you peace of mind.

AMAZING!!! The guys at this place are awesome! They got me in the same day that I called, just a couple hours later and had the car fixed the next morning by 9!!! They also helped me figure out a loaner car situation to get to and from work since I would be without a car. Could not have asked for better customer service, and very fair prices! I recently brought my old Toyota in to see why it wasnt turning over. The mechanic got back to me pretty quickly with some unpleasant news: the timing belt broke, and it wrecked the engine and quoted me $1700-$2000 for the full repair. When I immediately told him the car wasnt worth the fix, he brought the offer down to $400, with a 20% chance the fix would actually work. I told him no for a good reason.Im no mechanic, but all it took was a quick internet search to find out that my car contained a non-interference engine, meaning that when the timing belt breaks, it does NOT do any damage to the engine. To me the mechanic I talked to should have known this, as it seems to be pretty common knowledge that most corollas have non-interference engines. Even if they didnt, before even making a quote in the difference of $1300, they could have simply searched to find out what type of engine the car had. Or perhaps they could have actually assessed the engine for damage.I ended up taking the car somewhere else, who are did the job for around $400, with no BS 20% chance of success, and am happy I made that decision.I rarely write reviews, but all things considered in this situation, I feel as if this place was trying to royally rip me off, and Im not too happy about paying nearly $100 for them to look at what was wrong before giving me a quote that was over 4x what another shop is charging me. Also, if they had really looked at the engine, which I was charged $100 for, they could have once again, easily seen the engine had not been damaged by the belt.Id steer clear, and make sure you get other quotes before even considering giving Mr. Mechanic a dime out of your pocket.

All the staff were very polite and friendly. They explained in a very easy to understand way what was wrong with my car and more importantly why there was an issue which was very helpful. The adorable shop cat only adds to great experience.

Great people work at this place. The front desk and mechanics were always professional and didnt try to add things I didnt need. If they did notice something that may cause problems they would mention it but would not push me to repair it right now. If you give them a reasonable amount of time to diagnose a problem then they can fix it. It looks like their specialty are Vanagons(?) but I have had no problems with them fixing my Scion or my Jeep.When I first heard about them and the write a good review for an oil change I was skeptical. They have never asked me to write a review for an oil change. Their work is excellent. The prices are more reasonable than dealerships. I trust them with all my cars. Ive been a customer for about 3 years and will continue to be one.They do have friendly cats and dogs in the waiting room so if you have allergies it could be a problem.

For the past 6 1/2 years my wife and I have been using Mr. Mechanic for all our automotive repair/maintenance needs. That means for our two SUVs and my 1996 F250 ranch truck.This includes oil changes, tune-ups, replaced belts, new radiator, water pump, new head light, broken door handle, gear shift issues, rotating tires, new engine wiring, replaced fan belt, etc.Mr. Mechanic has always done excellent work, backed up all repairs, been cost conscious, fair priced, and have been courteous, friendly and on numerous occasions have helped out with minor issues with little or no charges.Couldnt ask for anything more.

Bad, will rip you off---Check price on your parts-they will charge 3x the cost of it. I dont they did the work they charge me for. My car run hot. stop on me. I toll it to Mr Mechanic Shop. They call me, and said it ready cost me $180. I complain (ignition control module) cost 21 to 30 bucks at auto part store. So he lower it to 150. I paid it, got in the truck drove 4 miles, run hot again, got to where I was going, try to see what the problem, look under hood the radiator cap was still off and in the same place where I place it. No radiator fluid has not been add. The truck was dusty, no finger prints, I truly feel that no work has been done. So I went home look up the part and it location. Clearly you can see the part is not new. I am making sure that this is the part. I will kept you guys posted----Josh Taylor written the order and Oliver McCalmont work on my vehicle. People be aware. Honest employees & quality work - I went in with an pretty unrealistic timeframe and tight budget... and somehow these guys pulled it together for me. They gave me options, broke it down in non-mechanic vocabulary, and treated me respectfully.They offered a vehicle for me to use while mine was being repaired (even though they turned it around SAME DAY!) and let me hang out doing my own work - using their wifi and drinking their coffee. Now my truck runs great!! Definitely recommend.

Mikes done a lot of work for me over the years; several of my vehicle problems have been hard to diagnose and tricky, especially a diesel glow plug issue. Mike always seems to do a good job at a fair price.

This place kept taking thousands 0f dollars and never fixed the problem and they screwed up so bad and faulty parts in my car and when I called I had to get the owner to work on the car, that still didnt fix anything. Bring your car somewhere else dont trust them or the work they do. Plus I witnessed one of thier mechanics with a tall boy in thier hands last time we went there and they were letting him work???.

Horrible service. Dropped off my vehicle that they told me would be ready on Thursday. After 3 days we went back to pick it up and they never touched it, then they told me they were to busy to work on it. If you were to busy why did you tell me you could fix it and have it ready by Thursday? I rented a car for those day. This kind of stuff drives me nuts. We left and brought it to someone else who did a same day turn around on it.
