We werent planning on buying again anytime soon but after his Dodge was totaled in an accident we decided to take our time. to find the right one for us. We had the ability to adjust our schedules some and share our car for a time. We went to so many different places trying to find the right truck for us and did our research. 2021 is definitely not the time to negotiate and bargain due to the chip shortages etc. We narrowed our choices to two makes and after a couple months of searching we happened to drive by Markley on a Sunday and found one that interested us. We had been to Markley before and spoken with Tom Medina before. So, the next Monday we went back, asked for Tom, test drove the truck, and then made the decision to buy! Thank you for the excellent customer service Tom!
Scott Hoke was great to work with, extremely helpful, and very easy going. I forget the name of the guy who helped me with financing, but he was also very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The entire process was painless and I am thrilled with the new pickup!
Went into service for warranty work on my truck . they checked on the problem needed a part which the did not have and had to order? On picking up my truck because it was over the weekend for the part to arrive. I noticed that the dash panel had been damaged by the Technician not using the proper tool to remove the bezel trim around the radio and heater controls. the service manager tried to repair the damage to no success on my approval. So the only solution to this was to REPLACE the entire dash panel . I would have liked to have had the new dash but this would have been almost a (2) day repair ( not sure how they were going to accommodate me but?) That would have initialed removing and replacing the dash with all kinds of screws- bolts -clips- wires - brackets -etc. I just could NOT trust or have faith that this entire process would be done correctly without parts missing -misaligned -wires not pinched or to think squeaks- rattles-or parts coming loose and falling off. SO I guess that I will have to live with a damaged dash because someone did NOT take the time and patience to have the correct tool to do the job correctly.
We worked with Gary Ehlee and he is the ABSOLUTE BEST! We have told all our friends and family that if they ever need an incredible, easy, smooth, car buying experience that we have the man just for them! We will always work with Gary and the Markley team on any further car purchase we make. Thank you so all of you for the easiest car buying experience we have ever had!
Best service I have ever received in my life when buying a new vehicle. Easy, fast, and most important was not stressful at all. Thank you Jay Pollock for hooking me up with a new truck! Life hasn’t been easy, and I never thought I would see this day and you made it happen! Highly recommended him for all your vehicle buying needs! 5+ stars!
I have been in for tire replacement, key issues, A/C issues, and more over the past month. The Service center staff and team were the best part of the experience. I have been going to this service center for 3 years now and I am always 10+ satisfied. The team go above and beyond, at this point I have worked with most of them. I have had them price match tires without me even asking. They have made appointments day of, and provided discounts when problems happen. I am always informed multiple times per day of the progress and what to expect when repairs are finished. Drop off and pick up take seconds. I have told everyone I know I will only be buying a GMC/Buick in the future just so I can continue to use this INCREDIBLE service team.
Im very happy with the service and everyone I worked with! They made it easy and the paint job looks great 👍 I will be coming back, if I need body and paint work done. I also use the service department and have been happy with their work also.
We worked with Luke Beitel and he is the ABSOLUTE BEST! We have told all our friends that if they ever need an incredible, easy, smooth, car buying experience that we have the man just for them! the Markley team including Mr Hung and Mr Robb are just the best.Thank you so all of you for the easiest car buying experience we have ever had!
Tom is one of the best salesmen we’ve ever dealt with. He was not pushy or aggressive. He explained the features of the Enclave and then he let us take it for a ride. We didn’t buy it immediately as we have always been Jeep people. After talking it over we called Tom and let him know we wanted the car but couldnt pick it up until the following evening. He had all the paperwork ready when we got there. He had even hand waxed my car. I really appreciated the low pressure attitude he has. I have had the car for almost 2 weeks now and so far I am loving it
I have been a customer of Markley for many years and will recommend them to anyone. I have yet to have a bad experience with sales or service. Everyone is always so nice and easy to deal with. Also having a sense of humor is nice as well. :) Lately I have worked a lot with Chris Barnes in service and he is fantastic and always helpful and honest!!
As usual amazing service. Every person Ive come in contact with at the dealership is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Theyre the best, thank you!
Jay helped us out today and was absolutely amazing! Best experience thus far with a dealership. We found our car online and Jay sent my husband video and pictures before we even came in and was just overall so helpful. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend getting a new or used car there. Ask for Jay ! He was amazing.
We have always gotten our oil changed here. However, this time they gave me a price of $170 plus tax to change the regular air filter and the cabin air filter. I did both for $40. I timed myself on the cabin air filter. Counting walking from the house to the car, changing the air filter and walking back took 5 min 36 sec. They wanted $109 for that. I won’t even price them for repairs again. However, they did a good job on the oil change and washed the car.
Thank you Markley Motors! I worked with Trevor, who patiently listened to my situation, and quickly got my car in to check a leaky tire. We love Markley and will continue coming to them because they always provide great service!
We love Markley Motors! I have a long history with this company, dating back a good 30 years when I lived next door to Gene Markley and was his personal cookie sales rep with Girl Scouts. Weve bought all our vehicles through Markley over the years, both new and pre-owned, and they have been consistently wonderful in both their service department and sales department. One individual I would like to recognize and say a big THANK YOU to is Terry Brunk. He has been an incredible blessing to our family the last 2.5 years since we bought our new Odyssey. Hes gone above and beyond helping us get our van into the shop whenever needed, even just for oil changes, and hes done it every time with a smile on his face. We are so grateful for him and his help and we will miss him greatly after he retires end of this month.
Tom was great from start to finish, he made us feel very comfortable during whole process! Best car buying experience of my life!
Tom Medina was really nice and not pushy. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. We were able to take our time and inspect the car thoroughly. Company seemed professional and well known.
I got my first car here and the experience was excellent! Our salesman, Tom, was personable and knowledgeable about the cars, not to mention very kind. They go above and beyond here.
I came in for a routine oil change, rotation, air filter change and injection cleaning service this week and the next morning my check engine light came on and 4WD light flashed and stated that my stability track need to be serviced. This was surprising and frustrating since I had just had the car in all day on the day prior. When I took it in and had it looked at again, which ended up putting me an hour late for work, they said that the cleaner hadnt burned off yet. Seems like if I pay for a service and leave my car there all day, then it should be good to go when I pick it up and not need to be returned the next day to finish the job and get it cleaned enough to not cause warning lights to come on. This is not the first time this has happened and I will not be coming back to Markley Motors for service or for purchasing a car in the future. Hopefully with this lost business Markley can spend a bit more time on the cars they do service so that this sort of mess can be avoided for others in the future.
We never felt pressured into buying our new car, the sales person was amazing Patty. Closing the deal took very like time. We look forward to working with your team
My husband and I worked with Tom Medina at Markley GMC to get a new SUV. We did just about everything remotely, Tom communicated by cell phone and text leading up to the purchase, which was great for efficiency saving the hassle of the typical full day at the dealership. He had all the paperwork ready to go when we got in making things relatively hassle free.
We bought our first Buick with the expert help from Tom Medina. He went above and beyond to deliver our new Envision literally. He chased the new arrival from Denver to Colorado Springs to get the model & color of our choice. On our pickup day he demonstrated the Avenir’s options. If you want a superb buying experience from a friendly, professional and knowledgeable sales person then look no further than Tom Medina.Very Satisfied Lifetime GM CustomerTrish
Michael my salesman was great to work with. All around good experience!
My experience today was excellent! I arrived and was greeted by friendly and very professional employees from start to finish. Today, I felt more trusting of the staff and services then I have from previous times. ....from taking the time to guide me into the garage doors, to directing me to the front desks, to checking in with me for transportation services, and just being friendly and very cordial during the check-in and check-out process - the entire visit. My requests for tire pressure checks where validated in addition to the oil change services - I appreciate this so much and am grateful to each staff member who provided excellent customer service! Thank you for a wonderful experience as I feel more confident to continue having my vehicles serviced here!
It was amazing and no pressure! Scott was incredible, professional and very knowledgeable! I will highly recommend him and the Markley Team! Thank you!!!
Well the first time with my airbag recall, the piece was popped up and not installed correctly, then a crack appeared in my dashboard right next to where you serviced the airbag. and your service guy had the audacity to say that that is common in a Yukon and they wouldnt fix it but they could charge me $1,200 to fix it. Your people broke it, my car has low mileage and is garage kept for the majority of the time!! Seriously! We are actually in the market to buy another Yukon and we NOT go here! Ever again!
I am very frustrated that the Buick Encore I bought in September had to have air filters replaced. This was the very first oil change for my vehicle. If it was serviced properly in September there is no way it needed filters. My oil change cost me over $300.00. Never again!
The service department is horrible. They have lied and misconstrued facts to their own design. In contacting the warranty co. I was shocked at Markleys service approach in trying to push conjecture rather than diagnosis. They were telling me they are over their head. They said they have backed themselves into a corner continuing to push their diagnosis based on supposition and no proof. The service advisor Will is not knowledgeable in any way shape or form. The person you trust to advise cannot do so because he does not understand what the technician said. I had dealings with 3 people there. The service advisor Will, the service manager Brent and Michael the technician. I have never in my life found a company that is in such disregard and understanding of customer service. I had a small request to charge my battery that they said was bad. I asked charge it and see if it charges and then holds a charge. The technician said they were unable to charge the battery. Umm anyone can charge a battery or at least try. He refused. Faith in Markley service? I would not trust them to change my oil. Worst experience I have ever had. My departing words were with the technician. I had been trying to correct the fiasco thru Eric the General manager. Eric called to inform me the technician said I was cussing him out and being belligerent. I was mad but My wife sitting beside me was open mouthed. she heard no cussing in the conversation but Michael once again lied. It is unbelievable yet i know do not have them even look at your vehicle. *****UPDATE***** Markley service and I had a disagreement in offering a diagnosis that was supposition. they thought I was unreasonable because they diagnosed the battery was bad And They refused to charge the battery to appease me. Customer Service plain and simple that they are clueless to. Just hook it up and walk away. Michael said they could not. Interesting they refused this. They were afraid of the battery being good so they lied and fought me on just appeasing me. So I picked up my car and I can’t make this up but I got on the road and I looked down. They had scratched my console. I continue down the road and I hear scraping around the steering wheel. I inspect it. I swear to all that is holy the top cover to the steering column was not even attached. It is just rattling around. Please if you use their service beware and question their diagnosis. You will find as I did they are pompous. They believe they are right and will fight you tooth and nail because they can’t stand the fact someone challenges them and Michael the service tech is not capable of proof. I see a law suit coming. It was shocking the way they treat customers at the service center but it has changed to unconscionable by leaving my vehicle for pickup, in a state of disrepair that becomes a hazard. Perhaps I am a one off for Markley service but I have a hard time justifying that tempered with their astounding and astonishing customer service or lack of
We bought it! Thats how awesome they are. Ive NEVER been to a car dealership before that didnt leave me feeling like punching someone in the face until now. They were polite, down to earth, genuine, and just made this process flawless! It went so smoothly that I kept questioning are you sure? LOL Scott was great! Jason was great! Even the two lovely ladies at the front desk were great! I will absolutely return to them when its time to purchase a new vehicle for Hubby and eventually our kiddos! I highly recommend anyone buying a vehicle to check out Markley!!
My service appointment was on time, reasonably priced and professional. I appreciate the courteous treatment and the option of using the shuttle service. Thanks so much!
So I recently purchased a truck from the GMC group. I had some issues but with that said from start to finish I can say with confidence Dylan, Tim, and John show a very rare quality; integrity, and ownership. Its a rare but paramount quality to have in sales, but they live it, and care about their customers. I HIGHLY encourage doing business with them.
Brought my car in at the end of May with some whining coming from the engine. It was diagnosed that the power steering pump bearing went bad. The pump was replaced, and I paid the deductible on my warranty. In less than two weeks, issues started up again, but worse. There was actual smoke coming from the engine so I brought it back and the diagnosis was that the steering wheel gear and hoses needed to be replaced, paid the deductible again, that work was completed as well as an alignment. Drove it home and the vehicle was stil making noises, was hard to turn, and now it was pulling to the left pretty badly. Notes of the work performed said it was working as inteneded on the test drive, but that was not true at all. I can provide more details, but after 5 or 6 times of bringing it in, the vehicle is not scary to drive, but its not driving as well as it did before I brought it in. I will not be bringing this vechile in for any more work to this dealership, and will be looking for a reliable mechanic in the area. Ive already had a bad experience with King GM and Ghent has a terrible reputation, so it will likely be an independant one.
Worked with Matthew Frye, he was very polite, professional and attentive. I took the car for a lengthy test drive (legit drove it half way up the mtn west of Bellvue), and he called to make sure I was ok. Matthew was able to get me an additional discount on the car I was buying and a little more in trade in on my old car. The whole process went VERY smoothly!! A far FAR better experience than I had 8yrs ago buying my old car down in Centennial from a different dealership. I also had a raging caffeine withdrawal headache while there and he was kind enough to get me two excedrin pills (brought to me wrapped in a paper napkin out of respect for Covid rules) so thank you Matthew for your small kindness and excellent customer service! I got the car I wanted and Im excited for camping season to begin!
Service representative could have been little more pleasant and smiling.
It was a good experience, very friendly staff and the service was excellent. I do recommend Markley Motors if you need your vehicle serviced.Ron
Dylan, who was our salesman was absolutely the best! Fantastic customer service, super knowledgeable and extremely attentive to our needs. This is a top notch dealership!!
After visiting 2 other Chevrolet dealers for service and leaving so disappointed in the quality of service, the customer service I received, and the cost of the service I am SO GRATEFUL to have discovered that Markley can also service Chevrolet vehicles. Markley’s service is unmatched. Their service advisors/managers are so polite, helpful, thorough, and considerate. They completed my service in less time than expected. When I returned to get my vehicle it was washed and vacuumed. They really went above and beyond. I will 1000% keep bringing my vehicles to Markley and I will recommend them to everyone I know who owns a GMC/Chevy or Honda! Their service was so exceptional that I don’t see myself buying anything other than a GMC or Honda in the future so that I can continue to have our vehicles serviced at Markley. They are the best!
I have bought two cars from markleys and they did an amazing job! I worked with Gary and made the process very easy! Just bought a car from there about 2 weeks ago and they were unbelievably helpful in finding me a new car! Thank you very much to all the staff at Markleys Motors!
Prompt and precise from the salesperson to finance. GBR
Outstanding service both in the service shop and sales. I’ve always enjoyed working with Gary Ehle when buying all of our cars. It’s my one stop shop for cars!
Normally very satisfied with Markleys work. This time less so. After oil change, oil life indicator was not reset, even though checked as done. Installed two new tire pressure sensors, but tire pressure values have a total range of 4 psi, felt range should be lower. Charged for a tire rotation even though I bought the tires at Markley and told them that when they wrote up the work order.
Easy process. Great people to work with.
Quality service from the first phone call, welcoming at the shop, promptness and clear communication from the service rep, and then a completed task in a timely manner. Thanks
This was by far one of our best and stress free buying experiences. We did our homework on the car we wanted and they offered us what we wanted on our trade. They are definitely the most professional and friendly dealerships we have EVER dealt with. Thank you!
At the time of check in for my appointment advised there were additional services that GMC recommended in the very near future. I agreed to the additional service and was surprised they were able to do them at that time preventing me from making an additional trip. Thanks Michael Ray
Service people, when you bring you car in, were very courteous. Very willing to go over future needs.
I felt like I was annoying Nate when I scheduled my appointment. He told me that “it would take half his staff” to pick up my truck. If it’s such a hassle maybe you shouldn’t offer it. Then they were late picking up the truck, after they called and said they would be late. Just very unimpressed all they way around
Markley Motors has always been phenomenal to work with! Having purchased my car, they are the only ones that Ive allowed to maintenance it. The amount of attention given to my concerns are incredible! Keep up the great work.
Thanks Gary Ihle for helping with getting me a new CRV. Gary was absolutely amazing in answering all of my questions! He was such a nice salesman who made buying a great experience.
I needed a battery for my pickup. They got me in right away and everything was completed faster than I expected. They forgot to reset the TPM system but that only took about 3 minutes. Thank You.
Impressive sales staff that interacted with us, as professionals who know their business. Answered every question and offered guidance and help with every step of the process. Jay was very helpful and Robb was top notch in finance. Just awesome.
Got a glowing recommendation from a friend (male) who bought their car at Markleys and bragged about how good of a deal he got. when I inquired I hadnt even give any of my personal info yet, and just asked about pricing and deals. was told “the price is at its lowest.” why would you give a man such an amazing deal and not even discount a penny off of the price for a woman? seems like a very sexist environment and will take my business somewhere that doesnt discriminate
Great costumer service. Best experience working with Nathan I do recommend working with this guys, he does have a heart to serve.Thank you Nathan for all your help!
Mark Reinholz and Dillon are great to work with. Both go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. They gave me a very good deal on a new car.
My car is still having issues that it didn’t have before it went in, not to mention WHO DOESN’T DO A TEST DRIVE AFTER FIXING A RADIATOR!
I am always pleased with the service at Markley Motors in Fort Collins, from routine maintenance to collision repair. I feel comfortable and well respected there and the service is outstanding.
This visit was my 50,000 service appointment. I received a clear and complete estimate of the cost of the maintenance. Scheduling this 5+ hour service was problem free, my need for the shuttle back and forth to my home was accommodated. The entire process followed COVID-19 protocols and the best news yet??? My car and I are both ready for 2021!Thank you Markley!
3 trips to fix a broken window in a 2015 EquinoxUpdate.Brought the Equinox back in.The were very courteous and took care of everything.Mark
I came in late morning on a Saturday, didnt call in advance as I was in a rush from the Grease monkey who told me they couldnt remove the drain plug without breaking it and they didnt have a replacement part. Its my daughters car and she was headed back to College on Satuday evening ~ so I was in somewhat of a panic! Chris in GMC service was so kind and did everything he could to get me in and get it taken care of! I was so very grateful!
Very good experience, no hassle, Tom even came to my house to pick me up from 70 miles away because I had no 2nd driver! Also got a great deal!! Thanks so much!!
I purchased an 08 Silverado with 26K miles back in October, fantastic vehicle, but upon start up there is an extended crank, almost as if you were holding the key in the ignition when its already started. However it is unable to replicate the sound by holding said key down, and it happens upon remoteless startup, we purchased the vehicle with said vehicle, and Markley ensured it would be fixed, however 4 times being in the mechanic they are still unable to fix, and they replaced the starter except now there saying its normal. If it was normal why replace the starter, I have owned chevys my entire life, and have never had this issue, the mechanics here are ridiculous and the sales man are just trying to make a buck, and are not people of their word, I would not recommend this dealer or their mechanics to any body, they are just a joke.
Easy oil change service. I have been taking my GMC there for a couple of years. Their service is amongst the best Ive dealt with. So much so, that we purchased another GMC from them.
These guys are some of best in the game. Sometimes having to wait to get in is so worth it, never have had an issue after receiving my vehicle, and very skilled at solving odd problems like my intermittent crank no crank and my other vehicles misfire. Definitely give them a try if youre considering them for your vehicles care.
I came in for an issue. Your company charged me money and sent me away telling me there was no issue. I had to come back in and advocate that there was something wrong. You took my vehicle did some stuff and charged me more money and told me it was fixed. I then had to come back in because your people now created a leak that was dripping in my garage. Your people sent me away telling me there was nothing wrong for a second time. I had to come in yet again to advocate that your people caused an issue i.e. a leak. They took my vehicle again and had to redo the original work in order for them to finally get our right. So to sum up.. it took me 4 trips and hard conversations with your service staff to get my vehicle fixed properly for a simple transmission fluid exchange. As it is an hour out of my way to get to your dealership it was not convenient or cheap for me to have to keep coming back for your people to get things right. I will not be returning to your company and I will advise anyone in the market to look elsewhere as well.
Saleman Michael S was accommodating, thorough and patient-overall great to work with. Finance office was great as well.. Overall great experience at Markley Motor...
I really appreciated that the mechanic worked into the evening to get my truck repairs done a whole day ahead of schedule.
We worked with Drake over at Markley in Fort Collins. He was patient, kind, and not pushy! He answered all of our hundred questions, and I didn’t feel pressured. If you are in the market for a new car, I would ask for Drake!
When I sat down to negotiate for a car, I was told by their salesman that they do not negotiate prices and the advertised price is as low as they can go. Funny that while I was waiting to test drive the car I overheard them negotiating their prices with a MALE customer. If you read the negative reviews, you will see a common thread and that is that FEMALE customers receive bad service, are ignored, and are given mis-information (such as that they dont negotiate prices). In 2021, that sort of blatant sexism is unacceptable.
3rd vehicle purchase in 3 years, experience is better every time! I will certainly be a returning customer, going out of my way to do business with Markley in the future
Great place to buy a vehicle. Also great place to have your vehicles serviced.
Worst general sales manager JOHN PAUL BUTTERMOREHe sold the truck that was already deal with me, the application was approved and I provided a deposit to secure the truck, the next day he texted me to let me know someone was at the dealer driving the truck and he decided to sell the truck to the other person. When he made the deal with me firstThis manager is unprofessional and had lack of customer service
Best deal I ever made salesman was out of this world
They are great! Both sales and service departments are really great.I wish they would encourage better mask safety. I mean seriously, this lady is not helping anyone. Im not happy about this because the employees seem to really care.
Well now Im considering another dealership to work with after this morning. I was told during a previous service that there was a recall part for my vehicle and needed it taken care of. I get a call that the part is in and needs to be fixed right away. I switch my schedule around to accommodate the estimated two hour job. I get a call about an hour later stating they cant do the repair because the original part isnt in the vehicle, I tell them I bought the vehicle used and never had it. I get a call back telling me the vehicle is ready to be picked up and they cant do the work. Im at a complete loss as to why it was so important to get it replaced then not and for the service advisor to have an oh well attitude about my wasted time really has convinced me I might have to go elsewhere for my vehicle purchases and repairs. Truly not impressed this morning.Follow up to previous post - I received a call from Eric concerned with the experience and wanted to see how it could be corrected. After a good constructive conversation we came to a resolution. Ill be back for my next service.
This was an unprofessional experience to have my truck repaired. Before I only had a hesitant ignition start. Now that I got it back it will not start on the first try. It takes three times before the truck starts. The tech should have noted this before I took delivery. This is unacceptable to have my vehicle perform worst than before I dropped it off for service. And now theres a huge leak under the engine. I dont think this truck was put back to the proper specification.
Treated me like I was family great place to buy a vehicle Tim went out of his way to get my issues taken care of.
Bought an 03 Honda Accord here a year ago, which I love! So reliable and in very good condition. I come here for car washes every so often, and recently I noticed the emblem that I superglued on (bad idea) had fallen off, so I went to Markley to buy a new one. The service department helped me get the excess glue off, replace my license mounting, put 2 sided tape and properly pinned a new logo on, all for the cost of the part! They said they were happy to do it because I was nice, well they were so nice that I’ll be coming back again and spread the word of my dealership!
Barb was very attentive and helpful. It was an easy and smooth process which is so helpful during a not so great time of getting in to a fender bender. Thank you Markley Collision for doing such a great job!
The best around.
Dave Parent was great! He was very helpful. He came in on his day off and helped me with a great buying experience. If you’re looking for a car at Markley’s ask for Dave.
Service Department Tech and Service department manager were rude and condescending to my wife. When she questioned the thoroughness of the work (because the same warning message came on as she was driving home) Your service department questioned her competence. Even going so far as to say, if you dont like your service experience here at Markley Motors, you can always take your car (brand new Yukon Denali) somewhere else. So we did! - they diagnosed the problem right away and ordered the parts to permanently fix the problem. Turns out the problem was related to a recall on a defective lot of parts from the factory.
Well. My wife brought in our Yukon for service. Apparently there was two safety issues and they did not even tell her about. She learned of them after reading her paperwork. Then I took it back and they tried charging me 400$ for two 13$ parts. I’m beyond frustrated and will never return there again.
Great service for body work on both our 2017 Honda CR-V and 2018 Sierra 1500. Prompt and courteous service by Cody and the office staff. Repairs were completed ahead of initial estimated time frame. Workmanship appears to be very good.
Purchased a used vehicle today. My sales consultant was Dylan Pellegrino. He was amazing. He got me into a car I could afford and genuinely cared about my needs. He made my car buying experience very quick and pleasant. Finance manager was Jesse Klein who was also very kind and answered all questions and concerns I had. I would definitely recommend Markley Motors.
They got my car in and done the next day. And they worked with me on the price. A 2k bill to $1500. What a guy!! Helping out in these times goes a long way. Thx for a good experience guys!! Superb.
UPDATE AT THE END OF POSTWENT FROM 1 STAR TO 4 - THANK YOU TERRYIm grateful that the team was able to figure out the main problems for my car and correct them. However my experience with the staff and customer service was among the worst Ive had of anywhere that Ive been. Nobody was rude, but Ive never had so many issues with figuring out whats going on, and why my bill was corrected 2 different times due to errors that werent caught until I brought it up. It would have cost me an extra $1100 that I dont have.It start with the staff telling me that the more information I gave the more helpful it would be. I though thats great Ill give as much detail as I can and maybe it will help solve this issue. This was true, but I also wasnt told I would be charged a fee for each individual exam/test for each thing that I described. $336 for that after I was told there would be two different exams.Secondly, the main issue I had was the fact that I was without a car whatsoever for what turned out to be a month. The time frame of the part being sent out, rebuilt, and sent back was understandable and part of what needed to be done. My issue came when I was told all the service vehicles had been sold and there was nothing that could be done. I later found out that it would have been possible for the service team to contact Honda and let me barrow a service car from there. The gentleman I was working with told me the best that could be done as to pay for one day of a rental car, and I would have to cover the rest...I could have bought a car for how much it would have cost me for the cost of a rental at that point. To top it off, when I went to pay for the repairs and get my car, another gentleman walked in and returned the keys of a car that the dealership let him barrow. I think you can imagine the frustration I had in this moment after and entire month of being without a car.Bringing things back to the issue with the bill. I was originally expecting my bill to come out around $1000 after it was all said and done. When I went the first time to get my car the bill was at $1790, which was after I had already paid $336. I was confused and later found out I had been double charged for labor. Which was then corrected. After speaking with the manager on another day about my experience, he went back through my bill with me and found yet another error. I had been billed for labor on service that were never done to the car. This still doesnt cover everything that happened but needless to say, my experience was awful, and Ill never come back to a markley dealership for any reason, and tell everyone I know about my experience. I never had a good feeling from day one about the staff or people I worked with. I hope the owner of markley has the opportunity to hear or read about this and maybe find ways to improve customer experience.UPDATE:I would like to acknowledge that after leaving the review here on google, I had Terry Brown reach out to me and actually listen to what I was trying to communicate with the service managers. He was extremely helpful, and understanding of everything that I went through and made sure that, as a person, I mattered. I wasnt just another number. He took the time to listen, verify everything that happened with all parties, and then went above and beyond for me.I cant tell you how much that means to me, and I appreciate him as a person and would really enjoy the opportunity to work with him again. At the end of the day, I feel much more at peace with everything and validated. I value honesty, transparency, and treating people with kindness more than a lot of other things, so thank you Terry!
Great service and great staff. Nice waiting area.
Recently bought a Saturn Vue from Robert Winkler. While on the test drive, the car was having a few issues starting and I informed the sales team. They fixed all the issues the car had in a timely manner and made sure I was satisfied. I want to thank Robert and the service department for a great first car buying experience. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to check out Markley Motors for their future car buying needs.
Easy and excellent as always! Markley sales and service is the best!
Buying the car was an awesome experience. Bringing it in to get looked at not so much. The person that helped us was rude and would not listen to what I had to say. He interrupted me when I was talking saying, he was not talking about what happened to the car before he was talking about now. Then we picked it up and no one explained what they did to it they just had us sign something. I had to ask what they did and their explanation was short and did not really describe what they did. I will for sure be finding another dealership to take the car to next time we need something done.
Unfortunately, Ive had a string of bad experiences with an overarching GM product issue. My truck had 6 of 8 fuel injectors that have gone bad, and ultimately, all 8 were replaced. With a vehicle just shy of 4 years old and less than 23k miles, this should not happen. Because this is past the bumper to bumper warranty and the powertrain warranty does not cover this, it cost me 2.3k for the repair. Before this latest repair, Ive had a string of experiences that by themselves is not a big deal, but has led me to question the dependability of the service department as a whole:1. My second to last oil change (~June/July 2020), the oil cap was not put back on, and I drove approximately 1200 miles before i received a check engine light. I had it diagnosed at a Wisconsin dealership* (I was reimbursed for the cost of the diagnosis by the service dept)2. My last oil change (Jan 2021), which also included a re-appearance of the check engine light had a few similar situations. The oil life was not reset back to 100% (not a big deal, but yet another oversight). The service team also ran the software diagnostics to tell me it was the same code I had been getting as before. The ran checks on the fuel in my truck (no issues there). They ran a software update and told me that it should be fixed. Upon receiving the car and pulling out of the dealership, the check engine light appeared and I immediately returned back. They told me it should be fine, and they cleared the codes again.* (I did write about this exp and was sent a free oil change.)3. The next trip back (the check engine light came on again Jan 2021), I was told that the fuel injectors were bad in 6 of 8 cylinders. Upon receiving my truck back, the washer fluid notification came on saying this was low. Im not sure why that would be the case as I rarely use the wiper fluid, and the previous oil change (less than 3 weeks ago) should have had the fluids topped off. I did try to speak to the service manager about fuel injector issues and about a GM bulletin that seemed identical to the situation I was having (GM has extended the warranty on fuel injectors out to 10 years/100,000 miles for my vehicle model and year for certain states in the US). While not looking for any compensation or discount on the service, I at least expected him to look through and comment on the bulletin I had printed out. Instead it was disregarded after a few seconds of glancing at it, and instead was asked about the fuel I use and where I get it (which is primarily Costco and Sams club). According to him, Costco uses some of the best fuel available, and definitely wouldnt have caused the issue.Honestly, at this point, I will most likely be considering a Ford truck as a new dealership is being built close by. Previously, I considered Markley top notch in the service dept, and I havent experienced any issues on the Honda side. My last 3 vehicles (all new) were all purchased at Markley, including a 2009 Honda Civic. a 2012 Honda Pilot, and a 2017 GMC Sierra. I will be looking for a new vehicle to replace the Pilot, but the last few months with my Sierra has been off-putting to say the least. The top notch service has always been an easy decision to drive the extra miles up to Markley (I live in Loveland, ~20-25 min drive each way). Now I feel that service quality has dropped and has impacted my opinion of not just the GM side, but also the Honda side.
We had to wait two and half hours to get our car fixed, which is fine. We wanted it to be done right the first time, which it was.
Friendly, courteous & professional.
Great service. My technician, Matt, was a huge help with his explanation of damages. Definitely would use them again for any vehicle damage.
We went to Markley with the thought that we would not be able to get a vehicle. We met with Jason and he was such a positive, personable person that made us feel like it was possible! He worked so hard to get us a great deal and a great car! We left the next day with a Subaru that we love!
Very friendly and went very smooth.
Great stuff, really terrific!
Great experience purchasing used vehicle from here. This was my first vehicle purchased through viewing it online first and then driving from another state 8 hours away. I had been in contact with Dylan a few times, as I bought a used 2007 Honda Ridgeline truck here last weekend and had several questions about the truck before committing to the drive out there.Every question I had for Dylan about the vehicle, maintenance and history, he checked into it right away and was able to get back to me via email and text ASAP. There was also no pictures of the vehicle online at first, just a description, because it was a new arrival, so I inquired about some pictures. Dylan got back to me a few hours later after it was detailed and sent me a personal video of the truck, interior and exterior. Dylan gave me a quote over the phone and assured us the truck would be there for me the next day after I told him I would be leaving to drive from my state after work.During the drive his sales manager Jason, also texted us to let us know they were there if we needed anything or had anymore questions. We stayed in hotel and got up early the next morning to meet them, and I let Dylan know ahead of time I wanted to hit the road ASAP due to a snow storm that was coming in the afternoon there and would be snowing on our travels back. We were in and out quick, had a test drive, I was informed everything they did on the vehicle for maintenance, they did one final touchup of it and filled it with gas while we finished the financial paperwork. Everyone there was very nice and helpful and made us feel welcome, Dylan and Jason especially. It was a bit scary committing to a drive out especially with the road conditions, but everything could not have turned out better!! The vehicle, condition of it, the miles on it and price were all worth it and accurate. I will defiantly say I did not experience this same kind and helpful service at a couple other dealerships I was in contact with, so I appreciated every bit and all aspects of my experience here. Thanks Markley Motors, Dylan and Jason for the experience!
I went to Markley with an interest in a certain used car, and I was helped by Drake Griffith. He was highly professional and friendly, while not being overbearing. I have been driving my Sonata now for about 2 months, and it is my dream car! Thank you so much!!
