Back in June I purchased a 2012 Jeep Liberty. Since I’ve had to replace an axle, battery, alternator. Today Oct 11 21 I picked my Jeep up from the service center. After having the car for 2 hours my check engine light is back on. I don’t know where else to go but I’m not dumping anymore money into JD Byriders pockets.

Having to call sales back 3 times still no answer, service department dont fix all of the problems and defaults with your vehicle. My vehicle was rusted out when I bought it and it literally falling apart after 2 years of purchasing. Ive had three rentals due to my vehicle being in the shop. Thats not counting the other 6 times Ive had it worked on. Interest rate is outrageous. Just now got to the point where my payment every 2 weeks! Is actually making a difference in my overall price! Horrible costumer service department, sales department and definitely service department! I would never! Recommend anyone here. When I did to my coworker I felt awful because he is experiencing the same issues as me.

Donne was awesome and more than helpful in getting me into the vehicle I really wanted . The process was smooth and easy, the only issue I had was getting my vehicle into the service department due to finding out the electric passenger seat does not work and only partly moves and does not want to move forward or backwards. Appointment time frame to get the vehicle in there for them just to look at it is two weeks so Im still waiting to get my vehicle service department so we can the seat fixed so we can actually use the passenger seat. Other than Im extremely happy so far with the vehicle that I got.

Poor customer service. I have had my car a year and in that year i have had to replace the brakes, tires, alternator, belts, starter, spark plugs, it has had oil issues. every time i pay and get something fixed something else goes wrong.Now the engine blew up. I have already put in 2000 dollars to keep it running. i could have put that towards paying off the car. I have called the dealership 3 times with no call back and left a message for the head of the service department and no call back yet. I was trying to work with them to help resolve this lemon of a car but they haven’t even tried to talk to me or find a solution. I am very disappointed.

I was glad I was close to a repair shop and my warranty covered my repairs.But the finished work leaves some questions. Everything was not put back to the before status. The carpet is not secure, the mounting around the windowsill and doors are not secure. Because I only have 1 vechile and need transportation everyday, I can not leave my car in the repair shop again.Not to mention Im not sure if the problem was corrected..I live 10 minutes away from work. Why is my coolant starting at 109 and at 245 by the time I get there. No air, heat or fan.

I have nothing but issues since I drove of the lot with them. They constantly lie I was told they would order me a new key fob the day I bought it to call in a week, so I did but in the process the antenna cover flew off the second day I had it that week my car level thingy broke so they told me they would order it all and fix and that I had 2 bring my car to get the key guy to make on spot so I made an appointment that they got wrong and left my car for a full day. They never called nothing would not answer the phone. So I went up they did nothing at all said it is all Finally ordered now I have to take it back miss another day of work. They r liars.

I had to call to get an update,when I did call I felt like I was bothering the person answering the phone. When I picked the car up I was just given the paperwork. I had to read the paperwork to see what work was done. There was work that was completed that I didnt even know about or even knew had to be done. So basically I went in gave payment was given receipt and paperwork...thats it. No one talk to me about was work was completed and why that particular work was done. Very bad communication you might as well say no communication.

When I found out that warranty paper with 48,000 or 4 yrs first they show you looked excellent because it said the would fix the sensors and solenoids and then verse what the electronic signature was giving, all the sensors and solenoids and flexplates, all sorts of higher priced items had then been removed, they said Ahh, we dont have time to change your warranty. So I didnt get anything. Also half the cars I got into I litterally couldnt even drive to test because they wouldnt start or were shaking so bad that the engine was probably going to give out right then and there. Tires looked nice and then on another looked like they had melted to the pavement. Smelled like an old lady. Something to understand. Also got 18 calls in 4 days while working and then finally made an appointment but than still got 4 more calls and this time when I would answer I would get no reply! Creepy.

My car has been having issues.. and Thales came months before I even had it 1 year. I had took it in and the woman Doris who answers the phone scheduled me an appointment to drop it off. My car had sat for 2 and a half weeks and was not touched.. but every time I called and spoke to Doris she kept saying they were working on it now.. keep getting told that excuse I went up there and Terri had shown me paper work they haven’t touched my car the whole two weeks it was there. So I then explained the situation he had addressed it fast and got my car back to me in a few days .. with some trial and errors they were able to fix my car it’s running good now but Doris needs to be fired for lying all the time and then she is not good with customer service at all she would avoid my calls because I needed to know information such as a time frame to pick my car up and she wouldn’t give me an answer for this last time. I had my mother call and she showed her the up most respect because she said she was my mother.. I’m not a child I’m 24 about to be 25 years old and she didn’t take me serious at all yet it was my car that I’ve been paying on myself and getting fixed myself.. if it wasn’t for Terri my experience would have been the worse he was very good at resolving the issue promptly.

And helped us reach itThat is what i thought at first, they took advantage of a young inexperienced buyer stuck paying $16,000 on a 2009 Saturn aura that was only worth $8000, key blue book. While drive down the road my tire broke off amost stricking cars this was done by jdbyriders not properly securing the tire before seling it to me. 1 star for the experience and 1 star for the lessons learned.I arrived with all the necessary documents and they kept me there for around 8 hours waiting and filling out various forms. The car salesmen ended up approving me for a loan 2x+ the vehicle’s fair market value at the time with a 19% interest. I told them what I could use as a down payment and the salesmen kept pressuring me to pay more. They did not accept my $500 off coupon I got from a sales rep the day prior. They acted like they were doing me a favor for all this.First day after vehicle was in my possession it was having starting issues. I contacted the salesman and he told me to keep trying, even though there was a warranty. I scheduled an appointment with service department who told me the starting issue was from an after market alarm system affecting the battery. They said I installed this myself (it came with the vehicle) and it was like pulling teeth for them to not charge me for the service and to be covered by the warranty. I still have the same starting issue almost everyday for the 2 years I have driven the vehicle.The salesmen gave discounted oil change coupons. When I arrive at the vendor they tell me they cannot accept the coupon. I schedule an appointment for oil change with the service department and they charge me full value for the parts and labor. I go to a different place for oil changes now.I recommend not financing or buying from JD Byrider, it appears they have predatory sales tactics. All we can do is pray for them God bless.

Where do I start. You definitely learn from your mistakes. First and foremost every vehicle is over priced around 80%. Then they make you sign up for there warranty program that add another percentage of the cost of their vehicle on top. So in a nut shell I personally will never be going back here. Just crazy how when you need a vehicle and your credit score is not at par, a company knows how to take advantage of individuals.

DO NOT BUY A CAR THROUGH JD, I would never recommend this place to anyone ever again, you will not get into contact with any one and the service department is filled with people they pulled off the street and no nothing, corporate will also not help just take your money SOMEWHERE FAR BETTER, also with interest u are paying way more for a car then it’s worth, over time the bills don’t add up, so a $14,000 car will end up being $21,000 after interest maybe even more and it’s not worth it, my family has had noting but problems, within the 1st month my window didn’t roll down, my radio didn’t work, my heat still does not work after only driving it for 4 MONTHS, my horn did not work and now we just found out there is a transmission problem and after only 4 MONTHS I have to buy brand new tires out of pocket because they said they don’t give u new tires, no way should anyone have to pay for brand new tires 4 months into them buying a car, out of the 5 months we have had my car it has been in the shop 5 different times and each time there is a new problem and the old problem is never fixed, if I didn’t care about my credit I would honestly leave my car there because it had been nothing but an inconvenience, and no u guys will not get in to contact I’ve talked to the manager and nothing has still been done, when ever anyone asks me about jd and a car place I tell them to never go there and let them know all the problems, they only care about the money do not give them your money it is not worth it, I’m a 19 year old college student that just need a dependable car and put my savings down just to get screwed over by a company we have been loyal to, also may I add my car was in the shop for 1 and 1/2 months just for it to come out with the same problem

Every person I met in my experience with the exception of one person was unfriendly and could use a serious lesson in customer service. Simply taking your time to explain why and how things are happening during the sales process should be pretty simple. Putting a smile on your face and greeting customer with friendliness and respect wouldn’t be bad lessons to learn either. Upon even more research their vehicle prices are way over market value. Very disappointed with the service department. My car started shutting off once it goes into the Auto Shutoff mode. Took the car into the shop and they said it was cause it needed an oil change and the car would start shutting off to save itself. So I thought ok and went with it. Not even an hour after getting the car back it shut off again. So I called back and told them it was still doing it. This time I was told that a sensor in the back left tire was bad and since its not communicating with the computer, the car will shut off cause it thinks one tire is stopped while the other 3 are in motion. But it only does it when the car is stopped and all 4 wheels are not in motion? Ok then. Two days later and it shut off again. Now I can feel the transmission or something missing while Im driving. Ive already spent $500 for them to tell me its been fixed twice and its still not fixed. So this car needs to be fixed and Im not paying for it, or you can give me a better car and Im only paying you what I owe on this car. Or youre gonna get sued when the car just decides to shut off while Im driving and someone gets seriously injured or killed. I will be calling corporate office as well as the BBB tomorrow to discuss this issue.

I GET ITS USED, ITS NOT NEW SO I ASSUMED TO CALL AND THEY WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM HOWEVER AFTER I TOOK IT IN TO BE FIXED AT FIRST I WAS TOLD IT WAS COVERED.( IVE ONLY HAD THE CAR A FEW MONTHS AND WATER POURS IN THE TRUCK) AFTER THEY KEPT IT ALL DAY THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM AND CHARGED ME $55.00 TO VACUUM IT AND THE MOLD CAME BACK BECAUSE ITS UNDER THE CARPET. THE BOARD THAT COVERS THE SPARE IS GARBAGE BECAUSE IT STAYED SOAKED FOR SO LONG. THE CARPET CAN BE REPLACED BUT CHARGING $55.00 TO VACUUM IS INSANE

Do not believe them if they say credit (bankruptcy two years ago ) does not interfere because it is lie !! Everything that comes from that place is a lie !! A waste of time ! I was able to get my own car by myself from these guys. I had no credit on my file and a little bit of cash to spend and I needed a xar asap. I was able to leave the same day with my car that I still have running great! I love my car. The warranty is amazing too, if something goes wrong they fix it as soon as possible for you to get back on the road. You only have to pay labor if its under warranty. Plus my credit score has gone up 150 points since being with them, they are set up with all 3 credit bureaus. So they get a 5 star from me. Thanks J.D. Byrider

I had an excellent experience at JD Byrider. I had to make a few appointments because I didnt have everything together on my end, like all the paperwork I needed. But each time I went and made an appointment with Marc Andrews. He helped me feel comfortable in buying a car and assured me that he would do all that he could to help. When the opportunity came that I had everything ready on my end and we were able to finally start looking at the cars in the lot, Marc made sure to stick with in my budget and he did not pressure me to buy something I wasnt interested in. He listened to the concerns I had and helped answer all of my questions.The second part of my great experience was when I went to talk with Michelle in the financial assistance office. I was really nervous going in because I dont have the best credit, but she also helped me to feel real comfortable and we were able to talk about any issues I had. Regardless of my credit and my financial past, Michelle was able to help me get financed, and find a car with in my budget so that I would be able to succeed and not set up for failure.I was super nervous going in because I didnt have the whole down payment to put down, and I had never bought a car before. I soon found out that I had nothing to be nervous about. Whatever I was able to put down, they worked with me so that I could make payments to cover the down payment. I have been on a search for a nice SUV with low miles for a month now. I stumbled across the site while looking for Dealerships near me and I am blown away by the prices of these older vehicles with high miles! How can a company possibly charge more for a vehicle with higher miles than the next lot down the street with less than half the miles?!.Here is just one example: Fair market value for 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is between $4600-$5700 but they are charging over $11,000 !! Please look around and do your homework!

I gave him a list of what I wanted in a car and he found the best match for me and it wasn’t I car I had even looked at while I was waiting but after test driving it I loved it. The car meet everything on my expectations he really took the time to listen to me and pick a car that was perfect for me thank you so much for that Chris. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because the paper work took so long and it was done by an Animated person in the computer in a room by my shelf. I would have preferred it be done by an actual person so when I had questions I could have asked them right then and there not save them to the end.

I have heard great things about this place for years when it comes to young people on a budget. I came in with my nephew a couple of weeks ago that needed a car. I stayed in the background not letting them know that I was the money man and just watched. They not only let him look at what he wanted to buy but also spent a good amount of time answering his every question. I felt comfortable. Dear J.D.,I had an appointment on 10/31/2018 at 8:30 am for tires and windshield blades. I was there an hour and a half to be told they needed to be ordered. Why, was an appointment set to begin with if the parts where not at the shop.They knew prior to the appointment what I needed and should of had them there at the Repair Shop for my appointment . I offered on the phone when setting my appointment to make a deposit and that was refused.Then I return on 11/01/2018 and arrived about 9:15 and it took after 12: noon just to do these two things.I went to my van and looked at the Cooper Tires and they where fine. Im hoping now their 80,000 mile tires like I ordered. Then I turned on my windshield wipers and they were still making the rubbing noise like the old blades did.I went back inside and all the techs had gone to lunch. The front desk clerk said the tech said he changed them. I advised he didnt and advised that sound is the same rubbing sound when I changed them myself about 2 years ago. Thankfully a tech that was stuck in traffic arrived and changed clothes and came out to take a look. I was right the former tech did not put the new ones on that I paid for.I want to say thank you to the nice young man that was stuck in traffic for 6 hour and still made it into work!! He replaced my blades and I defiantly thanked him.So bottom line poor customer service by the original tech and I wasted almost a days work just to have these to things completed. No Im sorry or a discount for the inconvenience caused.J.D. need not set appointment for this kind of service! Set the appointment with items available the day of appointment. This was just unacceptable to me.Best Regards,Linda G

I worked with Donne a few days ago to see what I would be able to get that would work well with the budget that I wanted to stay around. He helped me with ease as well as with humor during the process and I was approved even though other places wouldn’t work with me! They closed at 8, but the Assistant Manager, Cory, came back to assist me in finishing up the process of finding me the perfect car to drive off the lot! I settled on a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with a great biweekly payment that won’t break the bank and is the perfect bang for my buck! Great gas saver and drives like a dream. The warranty is a steal of a deal and you receive $10 oil changes! The staff is wonderful, especially Cory who graciously stayed until 11pm to finalize the deal as well as their Broker, Kevin who helped in assisting to find great insurance coverage for me. I definitely recommend JD Byrider.
