I typically loathe the car buying process, and when it came time to buy a new car, I dreaded having to meet with a dealer. However, this is the first time I can say my car buying experience was actually very pleasant! We worked with Matt Harpe, and he was friendly and straight forward the entire process. The process was quick, and painless! I would definitely recommend checking them out, and asking for Matt!

Purchased a new Accord yesterday. It could not have been a more pleasant experience. No high pressure. Always treated with respect. Fair pricing. Totally unlike the vast majority of my previous experiences with car dealers. And the best part of the entire deal was the salesperson, Laurie. Great service and warm hospitality. We were in a long road trip when we realized a dangling part, on calling this center, they calmy explained our.options.They even expediently repaired our vehicle and didnt charge us!!!!We want to thank Eddie the mechanic and also the staff for taking such good care of us.They also have a clean lobby and good restroom facility.Thank you guys !!!

I just purchased my third Honda (the 2nd purchase with Cale Yarborough), and this buying experience was even better than the first. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.I had the privilege of working with Laurie this time, and she was absolutely amazing! She truly listened to the wants and needs I had when trading in my car for a new one. She made me feel like a person and not just another sale attached to a commission. She really went the extra mile with little touches (refreshments while we waited on the new car to be detailed, putting an over-sized bow on the roof for a photo op, etc.). She has even followed up with me (as well as other members of the staff) to ensure that Im still loving the new ride and have everything that I need. Out of all of the car buying experiences that Ive had, this one has been the best so far!

Called them for warranty problem. I travel for work and cant always use my dealer. Tried to make appt to bring car in. They said i could rent a car to drive while mine was being repaired. ??? They dont do loaners. That is crazy! Im gonna pay to rent a car while my faulty honda that is brand new is being fixed? That is a joke. Shame on you vale yarborough

I had a bad experience with this dealership. My personal feelings some what aside the selection of new and used cars is nice and the staff is friendly. I recommend using your own bank if you have that option and dont buy the extended warranty for a used vehicle If drive a lot. Other than that 3 stars. If I had read the fine print instead of taking what the sales manager said at value I might would give them 4.

Walked in looking for a good commuter vehicle with a certain price point in mind. Lucas was there to welcome us and listened to all our wants and needs. He took us through a wide array of vehicles, all with different options, he listened and noticed all the features we took too and eventually came a cross a vehicle that had it all. He was not pushy and didnt force anything on us we didnt want. Through the entire sales process made sure he worked with the service dept and finance to make sure we got the best deal possible instead of just making a sale. He went above and beyond making our experience five star. I would recommend Lucas to everyone. He helps you find what you are truly looking for in a vehicle.

The girl in service department had no clue what I was their for even after making a appointment for 9:30 am . Honda sent me a letter about the recall and that I would receive a rental car for the day of the repair she told me that was not true that it would cost me $25 a day she said I dont know why they told you that even after I showed her the letter she still said that was not true never asked her supervisor or any other employee. So I was late for work but they did not care one bit . And I asked them to check on a few other things for me and they finally called me back with a price of changing oil oil pan seal oxygen sensor and checking for AC problems I didnt write down quotes but about 500 to 600$ I dont recommend them for any repair unless its under warranty I went to a shop on irby st and for all the items listed it was $338.00 and I asked two people to speak to manager and I have yet to get a call back

Battery went dead on my 2017 Honda Accord. Went in without an appointment and they took me right in. Since my car was still under the 3 year/30,000 miles warranty, they replaced my battery with a new one at no cost. I appreciate the great service department here and only allow Cale Yarborough Honda to service my car. Great employees with excellent service

My husband and I were in there today. The sales lady we had was super nice. I believe her name was Amber. We had a trade in that was in excellent condition and we understand that we owed money on the trade in. The problem we had is that it was almost 4:00 and that we were not offered any kind of maybe a little higher payment in a new car. All we were told is you are upside down in your car and there is nothing we can do for you today! Well we understand that banks have there rules and so does car dealerships, but it just wasn’t fair that this was what we were told and then that’s just it!! Cale Yarborough has commercials all the time we are here we will help we’ll they didn’t help today even just talk about maybe a little more. Plus the car we test drive smelled like a pack of cigarettes and had a burnt hole on the console. The sales lady did her job, but the finance people could have helped more in my opinion.

Both Derek and Logan in the service department were a tremendous help for me. I had a noticeable issue with my transmission in my van. I called and described what was going on and Derek got to work looking into the problem. Within minutes he had information pulled regarding my issue and how it was to be resolved. The best part was, he was able to get my on the schedule for the next day. Once I arrived at the service dept, Logan was there to help me. He described everything they would be doing and assured me nothing additional would be done without calling for approval first. Before I left my van with him, he gave me a print off describing the issue that Honda had found and what the protocol was to repair the issue, so that I could see it all in black and white. When I went to pick up my van it was running like new, just as promised. The shutter is gone and I am relieved to have a permanent fix. Thanks Logan and Derek for your help!

My daughter was traveling from Atlanta to Southport NC on the day before Thanksgiving when she had a problem with her Fit. Late afternoon right before a holiday in an unfamiliar place. From my experience, take a short drive to Myrtle Beach. Take SC 31 South at Conway to Surfside, turn right on bypass 17 andEast Coast Hondais a mile south. They are honest, reliable, easy to buy a car from. My 15 year old daughter and I were set to travel from Hilton Head to Washington DC on a Sunday to meet my parents for her spring break. When we stopped for gas at the SC NC border my check engine came on in my 2005 Honda Accord. We went to Advance Auto Parts in Dillon where they checked it and advised that we need to take our car to a Honda dealership. We then went to the dealership which was understandably closed on Sunday evening. We were able to make an online appointment and went to the dealership at 7:30am when they opened.Our entire experience from pulling in to the garage to picking up the car the following Saturday could not have been any better. Every person we dealt with was kind and fully explained the issues with the car. I truly appreciate the kindness of Matt and the entire staff during our time at the dealership, telephone calls and ultimately picking up the car after hours. Each person was kind and accommodating.The car was repaired and is running perfectly. The repairs were necessary and were fairly priced. I came to look at getting a new Honda and Brian was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was not overly pushy and gave me straight forward information about the civics. I own a Honda currently and HATE it, so I was very against getting another Honda; but I wanted to know my options. Brian managed to talk me into wanting a Honda Civic, showed me all the features, and talked with me about the process of buying a car. Brian deserves 5 stars.I came back to look at the Honda Civic less than a week later, thus proving that I was serious about this car. Brian was busy so we said we would work with another sales associate. After describing what we were looking for, we were passed to a sales associate. We again described to her what we were looking for and she said I dont know much about that car. Let me pass you onto another sales associate. So we were passed to our 3rd associate that day. This sales associate made me feel like I was wasting his time and that I was not serious about getting the car, despite the fact that I had now returned to look at this car twice now. He was not helpful during the test drive (Played on his phone in the back seat) and claimed to have sent me emails comparing the Honda Civic to other cars that, to this day, I still have not received., they claim that to get the model, color, features, you have to wait 4-6 weeks to get it and they charge you extra to get it. Most dealerships promise it within 48 hours and swallow the cost! They made me feel very poorly about buying from them. Honda is once again a car I will not bother buying.

Very disappointed. I went in to the service center after scheduling an appointment due to my weather stripping pealing off on both sides of my car. My Honda is 3 years old and I purchased an extended warranty up to 120,000 miles. I am at 63,000 miles. I was informed my warranty did not cover this service but they would help me if they could.I purchased the parts for $60 and a week later took it back to be put on once they arrived. I arrived at 8:15 AM and at 8:45 AM I was told it was finished. The bill presented to me for 30 minutes of labor was $225!!!! I stated to the service representative that I was very disappointed and that this seems unfair. I was met with a blank look and no response expect here is the bill. If my math is correct this adds up to $450 an hour for labor charges. My next question is where can I apply for this Million $$ a year paycheck??It is very unfair that shabby craftsmanship is pushed down the Honda consumer and without blinking an eye the Cale Yarborough service counter hands you a bill without even considering perhaps involving a manager to discuss the situation with a disappointed client. I will make sure everyone I meet understands exactly what motivates this dealership.

I call to try to talk to the manager about a vehicle they haven’t sold at the auction, I clearly see what the adjusted MMR is, and they want to talk to me like I’m a nobody and act rude on the phone. I hear people laughing in the background on speakerphone. Never again will I do business with this joke of a dealership nor will I recommend anyone do so either. Very unprofessional and rude. For 2 days we went from one lot to another and I was just so disappointed at the extent that people go to just to sell you a car. I’ve bought a few cars in my life. It was nice to buy a super vehicle, Honda Pilot Touring AWD from Cale Yarborough Honda in Florence SC, a car dealership that supports our MIlitary. Keith, Laurie, Amber, and the team answered all my questions as they showed me what Honda has been up to with the marriage of the latest technology, comfort, and versatility in a touring vehicle. We looked at Lexus, and for a lot less money you loose nothing but the high price. The transaction was low pressure and they will work with you to feel like you got a value for your effort. Another service department nightmare. I will never buy from them again. If you have a documented well known issue (since there is a software update to supposedly fix it, it is a known issue), dont tell me there is nothing wrong. I was stranded yet again today in my 2014 CRV with only 21,550 miles. Same issue. After assistance from strangers because the dealership employees were too busy socializing and laughing while a disabled customer was stranded alone in a parking lot in this heat, I proceed to leave the car at the dealership. I was treated rudely because I was complaining too loudly? If you would have provided good service the first time I would not have been stranded again today. I was down the road from the dealership...2 miles or less. All I needed was a jump to get it going again in order to bring it to your service department. You expected me to pay for a tow on a car well within warranty with a known issue? And then expect me to not be upset? While you sit in the A/C and make excuses? And then you are rude with a bad attitude because I tell it how it is in front of other customers? These unpleasant conversations would have been avoided if you would honor your promises, your warranties, and, in general, treat people with respect. So I will shout it out to anyone thinking of buying from you!!!!!! I wont again! You need training on how to provide decent customer service!!!!!!
