Highly recommend this dealership and Skip Jones. I was in search of a specific car - the only one in the country optioned like it was - and Skip helped me snag it! I should mention I live in Houston, TX and Jake Sweeney Fiat is just south of Cincinnati, OH.This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I asked for a price, Skip promptly responded with a fair price (enough that I jumped and didn’t need further negotiations). We were near the end of the month, so the pressure to make a sale is always on, but I never felt that from anyone at the dealership.I flew in and the picked me up at the airport - in a lime green Alfa Romeo - very memorable. The porter was super nice. Once we got to the dealership I was in and out in 20 minutes.This is the place to go - if Jake Sweeney sells any brand of car your interested in I highly urge you to go here vs the competitor.I might even buy another car out of state from them - it was that pleasant.

We drove over 2 hours from Columbus, OH to see a pre-owned Honda Ridgeline. Our salesman Michael O gave us information over the phone and greeted us upon arrival. The truck was as described, we were able to make a deal and drove it home that day. There were some minor details that needed to be taken care of and Micheal made sure that they got done. We even had questions after we returned home and he contacted us promptly. Nothing but good things to say about this experience. Thank you Michael and team!

For me, the prospect of buying a car is just as stressful as jumping out of an airplane. I dont enjoy dealing with the plainsman I get at most dealerships, and I dont enjoy the price negotiations. I do my research before I get to a dealership, so I have a fairly good idea of whats in their inventory and fair pricing for the cars. Jake Sweeney was a breath of fresh air. I knew what I wanted to see, and I asked to speak to the person who knew the most about Fiats. Skip Jones was knowledgeable, professional, and one of the nicest men I have ever met at a car dealership. He took the time to walk me through the features of the car I wanted, and worked with my loan company to make sure my loan was approved. He didnt try to up-sell me or talk me out of my first choice. Skip also introduced me to Brian, the maintenance guy, who was equally professional and told me how best to care for my new baby. All in all, the folks at Jake Sweeney Fiat were terrific, and I look forward to many happy years in my new car!

I just want to say for the record that the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. My wife and I bought a new 500L two years ago from them and it was a great experience.We recently had our vehicles stolen (one of them being the Fiat of course) but they police were able to recover all of our vehicles. We had to have the Fiat towed to the dealer to have new keys made and they quoted us a week. Yet here I sit two weeks later and still no keys. Its not easy have two kids and two working adults and only one vehicle. I asked them what is taking so long and they told me that the keys are on back order. I was/am very perplexed by this statement. I also asked if there is anything they could do for us in terms of a loaner vehicle or something for us to drive and he said that he could rent me a vehicle...... Rent? Seriously? I bought a brand new car from you guys and all you can do is offer to rent me a vehicle.They quoted us $400 for the new keys, but they said that the keys might not work for our vehicle when they finally do come in (whenever that will be). If we get lucky and they work then we owe $400. If we get unlucky and they dont, they have to replace something in the car that will cost an additional $500. Im having a hard time wrapping my brain around all of these uncertainties, maybe this maybe that.Every interaction weve had before this has been great and handled timely, but this, lets just say, to keep it professional, has been handled poorly so far. Im not trying to dissuade anybody from buying a vehicle from this establishment, I just thought people should be aware. Maybe were just that unlucky.**Update**Three weeks have gone by and still no keys and no car... The guy in service seems aggravated when we call. They quoted us to the end of the month, which is another two weeks. This is, unfortunately, making my wife and I regret buying this vehicle. If it takes this long just to get a key, Im scared to think how long other parts might take to get. Were making payments on a car that we cant drive...

UPDATED: Have now made 3 visits to have my Fiat serviced here (regular maintenance and an accessory upgrade,) and can, without equivocation, update my review from 4 to 5 stars. I have received consistent exemplary customer service from team members such as Brian and Tim, and I sincerely feel that this service department only performs quality, thorough work on my car. Im really glad to have a permanent service location to take my vehicle as long as I own it and live in the area.

The service is very good. Most significantly, the people are polite and personable (and professional). They always know who I am whether I have an appointment or just drop in for an oil change. Whatever maintenance or repair is needed, they will let me know whats covered by the warranty up front. Once I had an oil change that took five or ten minutes longer than expected. They gave it to me for free because they missed their target time. Ive had several similar experiences there.

Everyone at this dealership is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the brand, negotiating was painless, and the shopping experience overall was actually fun.

Oil change $35 - not bad. Jusy one visit, and so far so good. Fast service, detailed price menu. Will come again.

The handle on my car door broke, and I took it to two other shops before visiting the Jake Sweeney dealership. One shop quoted me $300 and another quoted me $150, each with a full business day to do the service work. Jake Sweeney Kia took care of it within 45 minutes and it cost me NOTHING because the car was under warranty. I could hardly be more satisfied!

I used to hate getting my oil changed because I was so sick of getting sold something that I didnt need. It was always such an abuse of power because I was clueless and I hated that battle of deciding on whether or not I really needed it.I got my first not-15-year-old car three years ago and have been taking it to the dealership even for just a simple oil change because that car was my baby and I want to keep it a long time. I continued to go to the dealership because I am NEVER sold something that I dont need. They have always done a great job, and it is always the same man. I believe his name is Brian. I trust Brian so much that I drive all the way to Flotown to get a simple oil change. (No disrespect) but I hate Florence. It is a really big deal That I drive to Flotown because I trust Brian. Brian deserves a raise.

We have purchased many cars from various of Sweeney family-owned dealerships. This one was no exception. We purchased through our Costco membership and they made the purchase experience precise and businesslike, transparent, fast and friendly. Very pleased with our new Alfa Romeo -- it was everything expected based on the reviews. Since Alfa is a small-ish brand, I am taking comfort that we have done business with a dealership that we whom we have had a longstanding relationship.

Honestly I wish I could give a zero star review. I went to look at some manual new and used cars. The salesman who met us in the lot walked us to ONLY automatic cars. Every time he would walk me up to a car and I would once again ask to see a manual model he said but you would look so good driving this. I never got his name and at the end of everything he wouldnt give me his card so I cant even warn against him specifically.Every question he had he directed at my boyfriend and would barely speak to me directly even though I was the one trying to buy a car. After a few minutes of this my boyfriend went back to his car and left me alone with the salesman which didnt help the situation at all.After my boyfriend walked off he said Oh a manual? Ill cut you a hell of a deal in an Abarth his hell of a deal involved taking $300 off the dealer markup. And then the Abarth he walked me to was an automatic.My mother bought her car from here and recommended it highly. I am glad others have had pleasant experiences but I would recommend any woman shopping for a car stay far away.I ended up buying a car the sane day from Jeff Wyler Honda in Florence and had an amazing experience.

The service department told my girlfriend that she needed a whole headlight assembly ($400). She even told them about the lamp connector being the issue, but they insisted it was an electrical problem within the assembly and she needed to replace the whole thing. Calling BS, I tried to switch the connector out since it’s within the realm of car repairs i can do (and finally had time). Turns out it was just the connector, the headlight came right on and we will NEVER take our car there for repairs ever again! This was either an example of an inexperienced crew or a crew taking advantage of someone unfamiliar with car repairs. There’s a two week old response from the dealership saying that someone will contact me; no one has. If you’re going to respond to a review to save face, actually follow through with it! I won’t edit this until someone contacts me. The only conversation I had with a manager was with one who acted like he couldn’t care any less about the matter, which prompted me to leave this review in the first place.

My fiance and I own cars that can be serviced at Jake Sweeney. Our Kia began acting up a few weeks ago and they repaired it even though it was close to being after hours. It was also in the middle of a downpour as well. I had taken my little Fiat to a service department in Indiana that did not repair issues with my car after 3 separate attempts. Jake Sweeney did however repair and replace everything that was wrong and provided us with a loaner car. Their service department teams on both sides the Kia and Fiat fences are wonderful and accommodating. They even put up with my nervousness after the negative experience I had in Indy. We wandered in a month ago with an issue with our Kia and will now be only bringing our Kia and Fiat there for service! Thank you Mary, Jeff and Brian for being so positive and awesome! Their receptionist Tasha is even a doll as well! Coby was really nice last night too helping us locate our car. Im a Fiat lover and my fiance a Kia guy so we will definitely purchase our next car there as well.
