I’ve had two clutches installed here for different vehicles. Both were timely, error-free, and the best price in town. Beyond that, though, we had an issue with our SUV after an instant oil change shop botched our oil change, leaving us with a blown engine. Derek took a lot of time to examine our car, give us quotes, listen to our story, and gave us the best price in Flagstaff to replace the engine. He inspected work that was done at other shops in the past, and offered to fix their mistakes for us. When we didn’t take him up on engine replacement, he was very understanding, and didn’t even charge us for all the time he spent diagnosing and assessing our issues. I’ve only used this shop for my vehicles, and I can’t recommend them enough. Derek is the best in town; do not hesitate to go directly to this (insanely busy) shop for all of your auto needs. They’re busy for a good reason!

Daniel and Derek are great. I took my Suburban in there as it was having popping in the front end while driving at slower speeds. I had taken it to another shop and they did sway bar end links (which it may have needed as well), but it didnt fix they problem and they had said it did.Derek took a test drive with me so he knew exactly what sound I was talking about. Daniel was able to do some more checking and found that the sound was actually coming from the upper control arms. They were able to get both sides done quickly and a great price. This took the popping sound away completely and the suspension is now working as it should.Great experience and great people that work there. Actually taking my suburban into them again in the next few days for another separate issue. Thanks!

I was on my way to visit a friend in Albuquerque. I stopped in Flagstaff to get gas. After getting gas my car wont start. I finally got the car started and I went to AutoZone, since I thought it was the battery. The guy at AutoZone tested the battery and said it was good, but I needed a new alternator at the cost of $170. After driving from place to place looking for a mechanic who could replace the alternator, I stopped into Auto Rehab. Derek said they were book full, but hed look at my 1999 Toyota Camry and see what was going on. After doing several tests he concluded the alternator was fine. He said the battery post just needed cleaning. Derek took the time to clean the post and then test the battery again. The car started again without an issue. I asked how much and Derek said no charge. I was shock, and so grateful for him taking the time out to help a stranded motorist. What a great guy - I cant thank him enough. My old Camry (369,000 miles) made it to Albuquerque and back to Phoenix with no issues. Again, I cant thank Derek enough for saving my day!!!!! I would recommend Auto Rehab to anyone looking for a great and honest mechanic.

Top of the line!! We broke down on Easter Sunday while on our way to Sedona for vacation and had our vehicle towed to Auto Rehab upon suggestion of the tow company. They squeezed us in even though they had a two week backlog because we were in a jam. They fixed our vehicle in three days with no notice and we made it back to Oregon with no problems. I highly recommend this shop!!

Five stars!!Unfortunately, my AC in my car gave out on me and I was having to deal with some pretty uncomfortable heat. They made me feel as though I was top priority. This is the best mechanic I used in Flagstaff out of several. They were quickly on the job, and had it done faster than I expected. Not only that, they managed to fix some things that other shops had not been able to diagnose/repair properly. In addition, they stuck to their quoted estimate of the repairs even though they ended up doing an entire extra repair for me while they had it in the shop. Great service, fast, and very honest with full explanations.

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Rehab Auto 2 of Flagstaff, AZ. Do NOT go here. Period.Let me start off by saying that I respect the auto mechanics profession as Ive tried to work on cars before and I realize it is very hard work. Im way more understanding than your average customer when it comes to addressing unforeseen issues with car repairs. Plus, my car is a 1995 so I always know when I take it somewhere that the mechanic can easily find something wrong with it and issues are more likely to be compounded because of my vehicles age. However, if you dont have time to do the job or the experienced mechanics to properly handle the job, then dont take it on. I would describe my visit to Auto Rehab 2 as a worst-case scenario experience. It was a complete waste of time, money, and my vehicle still isnt repaired. I blew $1,400 here. My vehicle is now in worse condition thanks to their negligence. I hope with this lengthy review, I can save someone else some time and money.I took my vehicle to them to have it diagnosed back in April/May because it was leaking oil. I paid $100 to have it diagnosed and they told me it was going to be about $1,300 to repair because it was leaking oil from the camshaft seal, crankshaft seal, and said that if theyre going to go in there, I might as well go ahead and replace the water pump and timing belt. A few months go by, I save up some money, and I decide to take it back to have it repaired at Rehab Auto 2 of Flagstaff. After this lapse in time, they agreed to do the job. It was still a working car, just leaking a small amount of oil overnight.Its early September now and I bring it in early in the work-week. They tell me theyll have it done by Friday. It doesnt get done until Tuesday, but whatever. Again, Im an understanding customer, I just want this job done correctly; if it takes a few more days, thats fine with me. The first red flag is that I had to call them to ask about the cars repair status. If you tell me its going to be done by Friday and I HAVE TO CALL YOU on Friday because I havent heard from you, well...?!So, I pick up the car on Tuesday, pay for the repair and think everything is all gravy. I park it overnight and it leaks the same amount of oil it was leaking before. I also notice its vibrating a little more than it was before when the vehicle is at a stoplight and its making a ticking noise. So, I call them up, explain the situation, and they tell me to bring it back in so they can have a look at it. I bring it in, pull up front and the owner, the supposed mechanic that did the work, and another mechanic begin to check out my car in the parking lot. They tell me the valves are tapping so it will need a valve adjustment, theyll have to take the timing belt cover back off to see where the oil leak is coming from, and theyll need to schedule a time to get it back on a lift. So now, after spending all this money to have it fixed, I have to work around THEIR SCHEDULE to have them re-repair it. There is no apology for the situation or even an attempt to make the situation right. They tell me they wont be able to look at it for another 3 or 4 days. So, I stupidly scheduled another appointment with them, but came to my senses and decided to blow them off because I just dont trust them to touch my vehicle again.For the record, I wasnt even going to leave a review, but I got under my car today and started to check out their work. I found a completely loose bolt for the timing belt cover that was just about to fall off. Im a Flagstaff local and am going to tell everyone I know about how terrible this shop is.TLDR:This shop cant handle the amount of work it takes on, they might have misdiagnosed what was wrong with my car, and didnt/couldnt fix it. They made no attempt to make the situation right. I paid $1,400 for a repair that wasnt done and my car is in worse shape now. Dont go here.

These guys are the best. My timing belt snapped on my 2009 Hyundai Accent while driving and my car very well could have been dead on arrival. The guys down at Auto Rehab got me in quick, gave me a fair quote and what to realistically expect with a car with an engine like mine when a timing belt snaps while driving as it can ruin the engine. They then got me set up with a new belt (thankfully engine wasn’t ruined) and went the extra mile and noticed my serpentine belts were worn and replaced them all and a new water pump and a few other real important things at no extra labor cost. They didn’t have to do that and I know a lot of shops who wouldn’t but that speaks to the quality of the awesome and genuine people who work there. They then tightened all my brand new belts a few weeks later free of charge. I’d go to these guys for anything needed in the future and recommend them to anyone in the Flagstaff area. Thanks a lot guys!

Theyve never steered us wrong. We have old vehicles that need pretty frequent maintenance. Each time we go in theyll tell us what absolutely has to be fixed, what can wait a bit longer, and what we can expect to wear out next.Theyre quick, have fair prices, and are always friendly.

I can’t say enough about this shop!! After breaking down 20 miles outside of Flagstaff on our way home Christmas Day and being towed to Auto Rehab recommended by the State Trooper that stopped to help, they had the main problem, along with other minor issues, diagnosed and fixed by the next day! While the speed at which the repair was done was impressive, the level of service and honesty was far above anything we expected. Thank you for turning something that could have ruined our vacation into a easy and pleasant experience!

Came to Auto Rehab in early July to diagnose and fix an engine light and the car not starting on the first try. Danny told me the mass air flow sensor needed to be replaced to clear the engine light and to fix the starting problem. Paid $190 and then picked up the car. Two days later the car took 3 tries to start. Called them back and they said to bring it back in. I had to call them a week later because I hadnt heard anything then Derek tells me I need a new fuel pump because the one in use was giving good pressure. He said this is why the car cant start on the first try. So I give him the okay and then pick it up about 4 days later and pay $317. Drove the for 2 days then went to Williams and on the way back the fuel pump failed and I got stuck on the side of the road. I called auto rehab and they sent a tow (they paid) and took the car back. I waited another week and again no one called me so I called and Danny told me he will call back because Derek knows the status of the car. I wait 2 hours no call back. I call again then Derek tells me they ordered a fuel pump from Nissan and the car would be done by Friday and then ask if they tested for a vacuum leak due to the opinion of another mechanic and he said theyve cleared all of those possibilities and checked all the tubes so I say okay. call on Friday and the car isnt done. He said it would be done Monday. No call on Monday. Tuesday they call and say the car is done and working good. I go pick it up and Derek doesnt even acknowledge me. He just hands me the key. But I get the car and it was driving great. Then I go to Dutch Bros and put the car in park and its starts revving to 3000rpm on its own nonstop and I could feel the car wanting to jump. I call auto rehab they say bring it over with 15 minutes left of them being open. Derek meets us outside and I park the car and it does the revving. I turn the car off and then Derek tells me to turn it back on and it takes 3 tries to start (so the starting problem was NEVER fixed) then I explain to Derek how frustrated I am as I have paid $500 to fix a starting problem and its not fixed. He then grabs the key from and acts like a smarty and keeps starting my car up over and over and says we did fix the starting the problem the revving is a new problem. Then after 10 minutes he goes to start the car again and it takes 3 cranks. He was in disbelief (I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS THE WHOLE TIME) So he says its either a vacuum leak or something with the idle. My father has been in and out with phone calls to them as well as he is the legal owner of the car and has been saying this to them as well. I tell Derek I want to leave the car and have them look at the idle and he tells me that if I want he will give me a refund for only the fuel pump even though the sensor was a bad diagnosis as well. But I just leave the store for them to work on it. My dad goes in today to talk and just get a solution of the problem and Danny freaked out and and says he feels threatened then leaves after my dad says he will go the courts if he has to because now the car still has the original problem and a new revving problem. Derek and my dad come to a conclusion of towing the car to the transmission man and giving me a full refund of $500. Their attitude towards me was not needed and my car was not prioritized. Its a shame because I came here twice before for other issues and they did great. This took from July 13th to August 21st. Sadly, I would not reccomend and will not be coming back.

I don’t have a souped up racer or show car or truck, just a 23-year old Dodge pickup with 280,000 original miles. But I love the old thing. I swear, though, that whenever I drive into AutoRehab’s busy little lot for repairs, I get the feeling that Derek, Daniel and every awesome tech who works on it treats the truck more as their own than I do. This is their level of care. This shop’s prices are reasonable, and they bend over backwards to maintain a very high level of professionalism and workmanship for their customers. Can’t thank them enough. Repeat customer for a reason!

5 stars!!!! This shop is not only honest its also exactly what my grand father told me about, do it correct the first time and the only time. I took my ford escort here way back in the day after a mechanic messed things up and this shop fixed the problem in fact I was able to make it across the country with no problems.

I brought my subaru impreza in with a new set of suspension and power steering rack, brought up a concern I had regarding a bad misfire as well. They gave me several call with updates and were so honest and helpful! My car was done sooner than they expected and even helped me out with a radiator hose problem I didn’t mention. I trust them completely and recommend them to everyone!

A trustworthy repair shop who got me my car back and running in less than a week. They where very helpful in walking me through the repairs I needed and genuinely cared about their work. I hope I wont need them again but if I do. Auto rehab is where I will be going.

Frankly I did not know anything about the people that work at Auto Rehab in Flagstaff. That is my point. My husband who is a disabled Purple heart Vietnam Vet and myself were driving in town and we had a flat on our truck. We were in a rush to a doctors appt, and were having problems even getting the tools together. I decided to walk around and get help. I was so lucky to run into Auto Rehab. I explained the situation and Erick without hesitation stopped his work and came to the rescue. Within 6 minutes he had replaced the tire. I definitely felt the caring and service attitude that they have. They had been clearly busy, but took the time to help and refused our offer to pay. I sent my Land Cruiser to this shop for some serious work. I went in with the realistic realization that it was a big job and might take a while. Through the whole thing, these guys were straight forward and willing to work with me. Nothing but friendly. During the time my cruiser was with them, they were restructuring their business, adding to the time it took. They were more than willing to work with me to make it right. I absolutely recommend them to others.

Was quoted a high price for work, but they said they could fix it without an appointment that day so i decided to go with it. I explained that my oil pan bolts needed to be rethreaded, and was causing a leaky oil pan. After a new transmission gasket, oil pan gasket, and $760 my transmission blew up 6 months later (may not have been their fault but bad timing) and my oil pan still leaked because they never rethreaded it. Id never go there again

I have been in Flagstaff for more than 10 years and have been trying to find a mechanic shop that wont over charge me and try to get one by on me. Auto Rehab is the only place that I have found that is honest and will do the work right, they have also done things extra and didnt charge me for the services. I take all four of my cars to them and trust them to the fullest. To me, honesty and integrity go a long way. Take your vehicle here if you want the job done right! Highly recommended!!

I have been to Auto Rehab three times with two different vehicles, and I have always had a great experience. They are friendly, honest, fast, and very reasonably priced. They do great work. According to a previous review about the owner parking in handicapped spots at her children’s schoolafter being asked by parents and administration not to park there as those spots are vital to people like me who are in a wheelchair, I understand that the owner stated that her son has some mental disabilities. HOWEVER, while I sympathize with her then go through the proper process to get a placard or a plate so that you can park there LEGALLY and not look like such an arrogant disrespectful business owner. If you choose not to go through the process, then don’t park there in your car that is plastered with your business name and park somewhere else and give a little respect to those of us that actually need those spots! If you need it then get the placard. If you don’t truly need it and don’t have the placard then don’t park there. Seems fairly simple to me.

Owners of this business take advantage of the disabled in our community everyday by parking in the handicapped parking at an elementary school. (with a business wrapped vehicle) Asks to stop by a parent, the school administration were ignored and no apology issued to anyone until a social media post exposed this. As a local, I choose to spend my dollars locally as much as possible and I wont be using this business. I choose to work with people of integrity versus opportunity.

Right front wheel bearing started growling in Winslow, AZ. Barely made it to Flagstaff by 4pm. We were in a pickup truck pulling a trailer. Weather Im just dropping by looking for intellectual assistance because they are very intelligent and mechanically inclined. The guys have done everything from minor repairs to installing performance parts on my go fast cars! One vehicle of mine after the next, from small issues to larger more time consuming jobs, they do it all and they do it very well! Our fuel pump broke on a road trip, so we got a tow to Auto-Rehab. These guys took us in an hour before they were closing for the weekend. Most shops would probably have turned us away but they jumped right on it, ordered the part from a local supplier & 4 of their guys worked together & got it done in less than 2 hours. Normally, a job like that would take 3-4 hours but these guys made us a priority & got us back out on the road before dark. They also knocked down the labor cost a little bit to make it more affordable. Thanks guys!!

My friend and I rolled our poor car out here closer to closing than we should have (not the best idea) but Daniel welcomed us with a smile, and asked questions and listened to the car until he figured it out. Googling it, I was afraid of how expensive it was likely going to be. But Daniel knew our struggle, and did everything he could to make it easier on us, even ordering parts from across town to arrive as soon as possible! This is a great place, and everyone seems very professional, and I would come here again if I found myself in arizona.

I have been impressed that the people at Auto Rehab will explain what work actually needs to be done and what parts actually need to be replaced when they could just as easily done unnecessary work and replaced good parts. I recommend Auto Rehab to anyone that owns a vehicle.

GREAT WORK.While on a month long roadtrip I found myself in Flagstaff in need of a battery replacement. I went to an auto parts store and replaced it myself only to realize I had been sold a faulty battery. Daniel saved me a world of trouble and helped me warranty the battery and replace it. So nice. So helpful. The guys at Auto Rehab know whats up.

This place ripped me off to the tune of $90 for an inspection--and they did not find the flaws in the radiator. Didnt flush the fluids, charged me regardless. Do not do business with these people.

Took my truck to Derek and his crew for an oil change - they got it done fast, did great work and even fixed my taillight while they were at it!

I brought my 89 Ford in for diagnostics, they said it would be 100 $ for it and almost half would go to repairs should I choose to have them repair it, they did 520$, without authorizing it through me or giving me a quote. when I paid I was reassured how worth it it was. I drove it the next day and it broke down again with the same problem. Brought it back only to find out they misdiagnosed the real problem, and it was electrical which they dont do. So I paid them 520 for diagnostics and wasting my time. Not Happy.

I was driving the family home from Alaska to Michigan, while taking a slight detour (all across the great American West) and while at the Grand Canyon my cars breaks started squealing the most awful sound that you could imagine. I took both the back tires off and noticed that I was on the verge of a catastrophe. I lubricated heavily with WD40 and limped into Flagstaff at about 4:45pm and the NAPA man recommended this shop. With blind faith, I showed up dirty, tired and desperate. Most places after a long day and the doors already half way down would have scheduled you an appointment for the following day, as I was expecting, but not Auto Rehab. They took one look at me and the family, flung the door open, rolled up the sleeves and got right to work on a new set of pads and rotors. I cannot thank Derek, Sally and their unbelievable crew enough. They saved my butt and were as friendly as could be. You dont get to feel at home very often when you are thousands of miles away but we sure did that day. Highly recommended!!!Sincerely,Jeremiah and Family

After a long, hard 2000+ mile journey to help move our daughter to Flagstaff for grad school I decided an oil change was warranted on the daughters car before we headed back north. Not knowing any locals for recommendations I searched the internet for places to get an oil change in Flagstaff. Auto Rehab was highly recommended so I thought Id give them a look and dropped in to inquire about an oil change. I pulled in and the shop looked busy so I walked into the office and was greeted by a young man by the name of Daniel who was quickly trying to finish his lunch. I felt bad interrupting his lunch but Daniel was insistant that he could help me out. I explained my reasons for being in Flagstaff and my time constraints and Daniel was on it immediatly. He explained that his crew had something thing to finish up that they could get the car serviced within a few minutes. I was a bit stunned and never expected that quick of service! Long story short, Daniel and his crew had the car fully serviced in less than an hour while my wife and I visited off and on with Daniel. Daniel and his crew are top notch and the customer service is second to none. No frills, no upsell, just good old fashioned honest service. I will not hesitate to send my daughter back to Auto Rehab for any auto related service she may need while in Flagstaff. Outstanding!
