On my way to California I popped a tire.I got it towed here and they put the spare tire on for free and told me I could fix my alignment once I got to CA instead of pressuring me to get it done at their shop.Best service I’ve ever had at a mechanic, whether you’re local or traveling, this is the place to go for fair prices, honesty and quality work.

I was traveling through Flagstaff, a tire light came on to indicate there was a low tire. I stopped at this tire shop, I explained what was happening. They pulled my car into their shop, checked my tires, they were low. Fixed me up.... handed my keys and told me to have safe travels.... no charge!!! Oil filter was not put on properly! Caused low oil & blew head gasket! $1800 to fix. Cant afford it. Their warranty will not back this mistake. Having to rent a car & buy a new vehicle! I used to trust them....no more.

Arrived 1 hour early for app 6 hours later car still not started to work on had to wait 2 more hours

Took 4 hours to mount 4 tires, we had an appointment and were told it would take 1-2 hours. They also said they couldnt do an alignment caues the tie rods were rusted...took it to the Jeep dealer and they aligned it without issue, no problems with the tie rods. Do yourself a favor dont buy your tires at Anderson. And the bathroom is filthy and youll need it cause they are so slow.

Travelling cross country and had a blow out in Grants New Mexico. had two new tires put on to have one go flat on me. Unfortunately they couldnt get me in immediately so they let me camp in there lot until the next day. they fixed the issues and sent me on my way with no charge. Unlike most businesses this place showed great people skills and caring for someone on the road.

Didnt require an appointment to get my tire fixed. They were polite and as fast as was possible. They put the tire back on my car and put my spare back under my car.

Anderson Tires got me right in for a fluid and tire check before my road trip! They are always professional and honest, any time that I need tires, repairs or maintenance.

They have an obviously, strung out, parts manager, Bobbie who lacks a the capacity to do proper parts ordering. They once had a great staff, I don’t know what’s happened but I won’t be going back. I don’t know many people who’d knowingly pay to have tweakers repair their vehicles. Not a safe shop.

Due to a referral from a reliable source, I recently took a couple of work vehicles to Anderson. They were friendly, knowledgeable and expedient on their service and communication. They kept me in the loop (including photos of damage they located) and updated me as the vehicles were being completed. They not only have the necessary technology, they also have the capable people to get the job done! Great experience, will be returning when the time arises.

The service there is remarkable. If I need help in Flagstaff, I always turn to them. They do not ignore you and if they cant help you, theyll point you in the right direction. They sell new and used tires. Theres a waiting room with vending machines and fresh coffee. A small area for kids to color and play. Men and women bathroom. A restaurant within walking distance, along with a produce market. Thank you.

I used to dread going to the mechanic, I would feel like I was getting swindled and overcharged. Ive been going to Anderson for >5 years now and they changed this. Good, honest, and kind folks that I can trust to (constantly..) repair my POS. Bobby always takes the time to thoroughly explain and discuss whats going on with the car, shes patiently taught me so much car jargon!

Well after going to Discount Tire for tires which was no help, we looked online and this place showed up with pretty good reviews so we decided to check it out. They were able to get use preapproved for financing for new tires. Only down side is the wait time. Understandably, they are understaffed so we were as patient as can be. However, its going on 3 hours now, so word of advice, give the place at least a day to get your work done. Still people are very friendly.

It is obvious this place is small time, not a big franchise. A sweet pup greets you at the door. The gentleman and young lady (Dave and Meg) who helped me were sweet and informative. The technician who worked on my car even made a point to check in, Meg took me to and from my doctors appointment so I didn’t have to reschedule. I left here grateful with a great running car!

I got a great deal on my tires! Roy helped me out with my front end alignment and new material I needed. The girl at the counter gave me an estimate for repairs quickly and made sure I understood all of the repairs we handled. Super busy shop.. Good tunes in the lobby! Thanks!

Very friendly staff. My wife, dogs, and I are from out of town (Eastern NM) and our car was leaking coolant so we brought it in. The staff gave our pups treats, filled the coolant reservoir, and found the location of the leak all at no cost to us. They were extremely busy and although the didnt have the time or manpower to fix our car issue, they offered great customer service. Highly recommend.

It had been a long night pulling the radiator, replacing brackets etc etc., with my Brother Nate. As the sun came up, we finished putting together the 1996 Ford Ranger XLT. Took the back roads from Tuba City to Flag and headed for Anderson Tire. I had spoken with Bobbi the day before and she was kind enough to select the appropriate All Terrain Tire for me. Arrived in time to drop off truck, and two hours later it was done. Tony, the mechanic, did some custom work on the rims so the valve stems were fixed...very satisfied with the experience and would definitely recommend Anderson Tire.Scott Noel

While my tires were being replaced, he generously offered to take me home, so I did not have to wait at the shop for the service to be completed. Had to get a tire and rim on my snow blower seated and brought up to pressure. It took five minutes. I had forgotten to check the pressure in the fall. The office pup wanted to come with me, but a dog treat was more interesting.

I have bought tires from Anderson General Tire for years. Most recently I needed new tires and an alignment on my unusual 1984 model year car. They were able to get me the proper size tires in the style I wanted. Their alignment technician, Roy, found a problem with my car that prevented him from doing the alignment properly. Instead of giving up or cutting corners, he found me in the waiting room and personally alerted me to the issue. We worked together out in the shop to find a way to fix the problem and align my car. Not many shops or techs will do that and I was very impressed. Old fashioned customer service. I hope Anderson General Tire continues business in Flagstaff for many years to come.

Review of Anderson’s General Tire, FlagstaffDecember, 23, 2019My family and I have been buying tires and batteries from Anderson’s for at least two decades. We like to support local businesses, even if they can’t offer the lowest price. For example, in August of 2018 we spent $1700.44 for tires for our Mercedes SUV, Continental 295/40R21 Cross Contact radials. Tire Rack is currently offering the same tire for 316.95 each. We talked about buying the tires on line but decided supporting local business was more important than saving a couple hundred bucks.Just today I had an experience that convinced me that from now on we’re going elsewhere for tires and batteries. Over the weekend I inadvertently ran down the battery in our Saab. I thought it possible the battery had died, though, since I had installed it in August of 2014. So I called Anderson’s, explained the situation and the manager said bring the battery in on Monday and he’d put a load on it. He also gave me a pro-rated price on a new one, in case that was necessary. The price was based on the description of the battery (MTP-65 Interstate Battery) that appeared on the receipt. When I showed up with the battery on Monday the desk clerk, trying to calculate a pro-rated price, said she had no record of my purchasing the battery. I was surprised, because I save all my automotive receipts, and this was one of them. The receipt didn’t show the make or model of the car, however, and I imagine that’s why the clerk showed no record of my purchase. There was a further problem, the battery itself didn’t say ’MTP-65 Interstate’ but rather ’MTP-48 Interstate’. It had been purchased in 2014, though, according the date plate on the battery. (I admit that when I bought and installed the battery I didn’t bother to check whether the part number on the battery matched the part number on my receipt.) What followed next stunned me. The manager looked me in the eye and said, “You didn’t buy this battery from us.” I took my battery, said “sorry for the trouble,” and left. Anderson’s was in the process of charging the battery when I picked it up, and fortunately the short time the battery had been on Anderson’s charger was enough to get my car going again. Turns out they weren’t going to have to cut me a pro-rated deal, anyway.So sounds the siren song of online shopping.

4 hour job became an complicated job for Anderson. They were very nice. Didnt keep me up to date with my car.

Their diagnosis of my leaking cooling fluid was either a crooked scam or utterly incompetent. They said a hose was broken and claimed the part was $340. I got a second opinion later that day. An honest mechanic replaced my $50 water pump that was clearly leaking.

They had just what we needed and were very customer oriented.

Went in because i had to fill my passenger rear tire twice this week. They found a hole in my sidewall and had a used tire there for me to purchase. They were extremely quick with the whole process, and very professional and friendly. Very thankful for Jerry and his staff for the job theyve done. Go here if you need help!

They beat discount and Big O pricing and Also offer a lifetime alignment policy so I get all my labor free for my front end work. I’m satisfied with the work they do for me and my family

Dont go here, they lie. Had them look at my truck because they said I had a bearing issue. Had three people tell me very different things and none of them could explain why I was getting such mixed information. It ranged from them telling me I had ruined my tires and they need to be replaced to needing to completely replace my rear axle. I was able to take it to someone reputable and it turns out none of that is true. Very, very disappointing experience. This is what gives auto shops a bad reputation...

This locally owned shop has great prices and their customer service is second to none. Ive been in a bind twice with needing tires to be either replaced or fixed and both times they have gone above and beyond for me. This is a great place to buy tires.

Worst experience ever. Came in with my wrx to get tires. I told them save the snow tires and Ill pick them up with my suv. So I left car with them for the day. I get called car is done around 3ish. I arrive and was told tires are done but they didnt get to the alignment and Ill have to come back another time and drop car off again. Also I asked where my used tires are? They said they will go ask the tech. I decided to look in my back seat of the car at this time and the tires are shoved in my rear seat no backs no protection. Also ended up ripping both rear interior door panels do to the studs sticking out of the snow tires. I ended up getting a refund for the alignment I didnt recieve. Worst tire experience iv ever had. Also had to go back a second time because of bad wheel balance as they counter balance their tires.

Anderson treats you right! Ive had them do tires, radiator, power steering, power window. They give you a solid quote and back their work. Glad theyre in Flagstaff!

Took my truck here for steering looseness and nobody seemed to want to help. Was the best place in town and has obviously has gone down hill. Didnt even notice my nail in my tire that I knew was there while they balanced them. Wouldnt go here. High prices and the guy at the counter cant even look you in the eye.

On 7/11 I brought my truck in for a scheduled repair. Because life happens my truck wasnt started in till after my appt. Time. When I found out my truck couldnt be repaired that day and the cost could be much higher depending on the seal that needed to be replaced I was not happy. I was frantic, the truck is also my home. Why Did I give 4 stars, well I asked to speak to the owner he listened, understood and put my truck back together at no charge and apologized for the inconvince. Even though the repair couldnt be done. He and his mechanic had put in at least 3 hours taking my truck apart and putting it back together for free. He didnt have to do that. Life and delays happenThey have a rare thing you dont see much anymore, true caring customer service. I left satisfied. Thank you Andersons for caring.

My parents were stuck with a flat tire and couldnt get to anywhere in town. These guys came to them and fixed them up for $40 great service!! If we could give 10 stars we would thank yall!

Agreed was the best place in town no they have gone down hill. Its horrible. Update so they said I had bad parts and stuff wanted to charge me 2500 I said nvm Ill just take it back took it to big o tires did the alignment and that was it andersons is horrible!

I have been going to Anderson General Tire for maintenance for years and WAS very happy with their service. Not anymore. A few months ago we asked for our Subaru to have a list of items repaired. When we got the car back it was worse! We took it someplace else and found they filled the radiator with water and put the wrong cap on it! The transmission fluid was black. The brakes were supposedly replaced but werent. Plus a bunch of other things. I will never go there again.

Very disappointed with my service at Anderson and I was a loyal customer for years.Had an alignment done and it was worst after Anderson was finished, I took it to Big O TIre. Past few few months, customer service has been awful and the dog especially!! Not a service animal...service animals are trained to stay next to their owner. And not to pee or bleed everywhere.The new owner Meg is awful too! Very rude and not very helpful at getting the right tires.To me it seems, Anderson is a collage runned business now?Flagstaff BEWARE Anderson no longer a great business!! I will no longer give Anderson my business.

Anderson General tire used to be a good shop before the old owner left. I recently tried to get my wheels aligned here. First I made an online appointment, but they dont that system so I didnt get the appointment. When I called to make my appointment I waited on hold for 5 minutes before they hung up on me. When I finally did get into the shop to have the work done they said they wouldnt do it because I had a bad wheel bearing. I took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion and was told that there were no issues with my wheel bearings. I am very disappointed with the service that I got at Andersons, I used to recommend them to friends, but wont in the future and I will never be returning there to have my cars worked on.

Went in to get some new tires put on this morning. They said it would be an hour. I waited for 45 min until they finally pulled my car in along with a car that had just gotten their. They worked on the car that just got their before mine. So 30 more min passed and after that one was done they began working on mine. Im currently still waiting and its now been 3 hours. Terrible service. No teamwork. One guy has been standing around doing nothing for a lot of the time Ive been here. He could be helping but is not. I will never come to this place again.

Last night my tire blew out and being a college student I was in need of a tire but also short of cash. I called all around town for a used tire that was cheap. I couldnt find any luck until I called Anderson Tire. At first they didnt have anything but Mike called me back right away without me even giving him my phone number and let me know that he had a used tire for me. He put it to the side to hold it for me when I got there. I arrived at the tire shop at 5:35 PM which the shop closes at 5:30PM. The guys were THE NICEST and even though it was past closing they put my tire on and it didnt take them much time at all! They were honest about what was wrong with my other tires and were happy to help me out with them. Its hard to find good tire guys and I would definitely go back here again and suggest it to other people!

I took my car to Andersons with a nail in my back tire that was unrepairable. I took a tire to Andersons and told them to replace it, they gave me my car back with a patch saying that i was good to go and i can return the tire. I argued with them until they assured me that the patch would hold up. I returned the tire and now im stuck having to replace all 4 tire because the patch fell out twice and my tread is beyond the point where i can just replace one tire. They are so unprofessional that they dont even have records of my visit and dont even recall what mechanic worked on my vehicle. They deny any responsibility in the matter and wont even attempt to fix their original mistake. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where they know what theyre doing and wont screw you over in the long run!

Went in here today to get tires for our 2012 Honda civic. we purchased 4 cooper 80,000 mile tires for 625$. after leaving and driving home noticed the car was road happy or felt like it was floating, or loose, not planted like it has been for the past 45000 miles. so i took the tire off the looked at the alignment adjustment nut and rod. its been turned from the factory specs. i know this because Honda puts blue paint aligning them to see if theyve been changed.Needless to say im NOT HAPPY!!!! ill be taking my car to Honda for an alignment and giving Anderson General tire in Flagstaff AZ the bill. and ill never return.

I miss Paul F (the old owner) and his team. The new owners have raised prices, decreased service(s) - asked about price match from other competitors for tires - Rep informed me that he had been there 6 months, and they havent seen any price matches done - I had done business there for over 10 years, and had referred many. But All Good Things come to an end, we sure will miss the previous owners. Will look else where for my business.
