Great place! My wife’s car was dying on her way home at night but she was able to get it to the shop and drop it off after hours. When I called in the morning they were already looking at it and had it fixed same day! Very reasonable prices and great service. I will definitely be back!

I brought my older brothers car over to have it checked out, as it was in rough shape and to me not the most trustworthy vehicle. I was referred by a friend of mine to them. These guys are right down the street from me, so I’ve dropped my car off there a few times and every time the service has been very high quality. These guys are affordable and honest. They can get pretty busy and they still always manage to have my car available to get picked up in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this shop to a friend.

The absolute best auto shop i’ve been too. two other notable area shops could not find the problem with my volvo (but still found ways to charge me) and northeast put in the time and did it right. they also found an electrical problem in my 94 buick that other shops wouldn’t even consider trying to fix. the ONLY auto shop i would recommend now.

I grew up as a diy auto enthusiast but as my time has become more scarce I take my cars in for service but Im picky as to who I trust and I expect a high level of explanation. Northeast has always done right by me. They do a good job at a fair price and always get me in quickly.

These guys are absolutely great. Could have just changed me for a catalytic converter but took the time to reset codes, look at the cars sensor data history, and check on anything else it could be besides that then told me to come back if the problem came back on and we’d have to look at the catalytic converter then.

Always have been honest and I can tell they’re really hard working. Gives to you a real estimate and tells if anything may or may have changed. Have gone there 5 times now and every time they’ve given great service. Don’t plan on changing anytime soon either as long as I’m in the area.

Great honest work! I went to a different shop and was told I need to replace all four break pads and rotors being quoted at $700. I took my car to northeast auto services and was told I only need to replace my rear break pads and rotors! They were super honest and I appreciate that! Fair pricing too. These guys are awesome! Im a nurse and in the middle of the COID pandemic my breaks start making a terrible noise. I took my vehicle in to Northeast auto and they replaced my rotors and calipers for about the same price I could have done it myself. I was back on the road in no time. Wade and his staff are the best. We have been taking our cars there for over 10 years. He has always been fair and honest. They will go above and beyond to take car of your car. They are far less expensive then any other place around. I met Wade about 10 years ago because two other places told me that I needed a $700 exhaust system. My neighbor told me to take it to Northeast. Took it up there and Wade said you just have a section of pipe that is bad and I can weld a new piece in. Cost was $80. That was honestly! Never gone anywhere else for anything since!

I didnt know what to expect when I took my car in to repair whatever was making it sound like a monster truck. They were incredibly friendly and got the job done in one day. The car is quiet as a mouse now, but the best part? The price! I was prepared for a huge bill when they told me everything that had to be done, but I was pleasantly surprised with my extremely affordable bill. Thank you Wade! There is an elderly woman receptionist that is cranky and rude. If you can get past her, its well worth it. The mechanics know what they are doing and are very helpful. Everything is at a fair price as well.

I backed into a rock with my wifes lease car that was set to be turned in less than a week later. The damage was pretty bad and, I wasted two days getting quotes at shops in Royal Oak and Warren. When I took my car into Northeast Auto I was warmly greeted by a dog and the owners wife. I explained the dilemma and was quoted an extremely fair price. I was told that it could take up to several days for the work to be completed due to the number of other repair jobs ahead of mine. When I dropped off the car the following morning, I had less than two days to have the car repaired. I was prepared to be the reason why my wife couldnt pick up her new car like she planned. Less than 24 hours later, I got a call telling me that I could pick up the car. I was shocked! When I went to pick up the car after work, I was told that the owner had worked on the car after ours to finish the job. I will never ever take my car anywhere else for repairs. Northeast Auto is the best! I know that my dilemma was insignificant in the grand scheme of things but, its really awesome when someone under promises and over delivers. Thank you Northeast Auto!

Great place to have any or all auto work done. was out of town and had car trouble. I was staying in a house around the corner from the shop.I called and told them my problem( broken radiator hose and damaged pipe) Bret(co-owner) was very pleasant and understanding. He told me step by step what they would do and possible problems that could happen while fixing it VERY HONEST. Did the work quickly and I thought I was gona have to pay $$$$, however to my surprise it was waaaaay cheaper than I had worried about. He gave great suggestions on how to maintain the life of my car 2004 dodge stratus. If in the area or not, I WOULD GIVE THE HIGHEST RECOMENDATION to go here

If youre looking for consistently first rate auto service, you wont do better than Northeast Auto Service in Ferndale. Its a terrific place. Weve been taking our cars there for both routine and repair service for more years than I can remember. We have received excellent service every time. We learned about them because my wifes employer used them for their company vehicles. My wife is now retired - but, we still drive over to Northeast (12 miles each way) for service. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

I do most of my own automotive work but was very satisfied with Northeast.

Service was excellent; everyone was really nice and friendly and they got the job done within a few hours.Only complaint was the price - seemed about $100 too steep if you ask me, but I was in a pinch, so I cant complain too much.
