This place is fantastic a little wait not a big deal. They were polite, Helpful, Very knowledgeable, They try to upsell. But thats part of their job. I get it, as long as you know What youre there to get and are open to What you may actually need done that you dont know about. Youll be fine. They were very thorough, Professional. Very friendly and courteous staff, all seemed knowledgeable and didnt push extra services.I had two issues after leaving though, I noticed a bit of smoke and a burning smell which I thought was spoiled oil but noticed it smelled more like rubber or plastic. I found a bracket still disconnected from inspecting the air filter and the battery tester still attached to the battery. Not sure what caused the smell but it was immediately cleared out. The voltmeter shows noticeably lower than before with a one day old battery (13v rather than 14.5) which returns occasionally to normally levels. Honestly seems to be a rare oversight considering the efficiency and communication of employees but noteworthy.

We used to go to this place for every oil change until they changed owners. They say the same people work there but I only recognize a few employees. It used to be a fast nice and easy oil change until they went full corporate. Now they want your email and address every time you come in. They try to pressure you into buying air filters and other services your vehicle doesnt really need like every other big corporate auto servicing company. Because of all this it takes twice as long to service your vehicle at ferndale lube. Its sad because some people still want an honest small town business over this. We will not be going here anymore.

The young man that was attending to our car was great even let us know car wasnt due for oil change for another 1400 miles. Only issue was some lady running around talking to everyone not wearing her mask properly even stuck her head in our car to reset oil change light,,very upsetting because my wife and I are high risk group for covid 19.

Pretty quick service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I did find it a little more expensive than the place I used in Bellingham. (Full synthetic was the same price (in Bellingham) as the hybrid that I received today at Ferndale Lube.

I really like this place they take good care of me and Lucy (my car). The manager there actually pointed out to me that my plates were expired and directed me to the office to get said plates renewed. These folks can get very busy but they always keep the line moving. This type of business needs to have consistency and attentiveness and Ferndale Lube has it.

Had several great experiences with the folks here. They changed our oil for a fair price and got the service done quickly. All in all, very pleased and would recommend others to come here as well.

Only place my husband and I get our oil changes at. In and out in like 10 minutes, plus they check a bunch of stuff on my car, fill my tires, and vacuum my floor mats and clean my windows! Love you guys!

Was very disappointed with oil change charge. Said it was $90 for synthetic oil change, up to 6 quarts. My car took 6.3 quarts. They charged an overage fee and now the price was $140. Definitely not a place I will visit again. Had been going there there for 12 years and they pulled this. Ill be going to Petes auto now.

Being new to Ferndale, I was in need of an oil change and thought I would have it done locally. I walked in and asked for a basic oil change. They got to it quickly, came time to pay my bill and was told I owed $60.72 ! I was absolutely dumbfounded, I told by the cashier that I had only asked for a basic oil change and he explained that they had topped off my antifreeze which added the extra $12.95 to my bill. I could have gone to the auto parts store to get a whole gallon for that price ! If they would have at least informed me of the need to add additional antifreeze before just adding it, I wouldnt have felt so taken advantage of. I wont be going back for the next change.

They loosened the cap on my radiator just after shutting off the engine so the contents were still under pressure which sprayed anti-freeze all over my engine cover. Then they tried to tell me I had a leak in my radiator and that they couldnt do the oil change. Once we left, I checked the engine which was covered in anti-freeze and noticed there was no leak and the metal cap had been removed while the engine was hot. I took the SUV to jiffy lube and got the oil changed and the engine cover cleaned without incident.Im not sure if these guys had just decided they didnt want to do the job? Or if they need some serious training?! Either way, I think we will stick with Jiffy Lube from now on.

After three perfectly fine experiences at Ferndale Lube, I was a real fan of this business. I never felt upsold or pressured. Even told several people around town about it.Then I found out how they really operate.I took my car in for a routine oil change only to discover a ruined engine and $9,100 in damage. I understand mistakes happen, especially with teenagers. I didnt make a fuss that this was my dream car that I had just purchased—I simply asked them to make it right. I even decided not to get a rental car to save them money because I thought theyd do me right.They didnt. At all. I was without my car for nearly TWO MONTHS.I cannot describe the awful way they treated me. Im a business owner and couldnt have been more bullied, disrespected, and marginalized as I sought restitution. The manager/minority owner was awful, AWFUL to deal with. It gives me heart burn just thinking about it.If you want to go to a place where you can enjoy peace of mind, skip this location. If they so much as make a mistake, you will NOT see that restitution without fighting tooth and nail.Oh, and if you think this is too harsh, the actual owner of the place called me to apologize for how I was treated (not the manager/minority owner I had to deal with; I never got any sort of apology from him).If you care about character and integrity in a businesss leadership—look elsewhere. Vehicles are some of our largest investments, and Ill never entrust mine to a place like this ever again.

Ive been coming to this shop for years with all of my vehicles. Unsure if management or personnel have changed, but my service there yesterday has changed my good opinion of this shop. I brought my Kia in for a oil change, told the tech who took the car in that my TPMS light just came on so I knew there was a low tire. he assured me no problem as they would check the tire pressure as part of the normal service. When done, they said all 4 tires now 32psi....I drove away and saw the TPMS light was still on, but reckoned it would go out after driving a bit. Sixteen miles to home and the light was still on, checked my tires as soon as I arrived, one was 26psi, the others were all under 32. Obviously they didnt bother to check these (even though I specifically mentioned it to them). Really disappointed in Ferndale Lube today....not a good way to keep repeat customers.

Nice folks but the price is about 20% higher than competitors. Theyre pretty fast but they cant fix little issues like stripped drain plugs. I was quoted $110 here, $55 at Walmart, and $89 at Jiffy for the same service. I got it done at Jiffy because the had no problem with the stripped drain plug. BTW, this was for synthetic. Ive had my vehicles changed here several times and paid the higher price just because theyre pretty nice and theyre close but Ill probably go to Jiffy or Walmart from here on.

Went in to get my oil changed, Ive been coming here for a long time and havent had any issues. Up until I had my washer fluid toped off and after driving the car for a few days, the washer fluid turned out to be some kind of crazy chemical, we had to roll the windows down in order to breathe... it covered the windshield in some kind film that we could only take off with kerosene... We also found out that the tank was leaking.. So basically what ever they put in there, destroyed the washer fluid tank.I came in to talk to them about the issue, the manager just got extremely defensive and started talking to me very very poorly, I was being calm and just wanted to talk about it. The manager really needs to be fired, he needs to learn how to talk to people before he gets a manager job.Point is... they didnt fix the issue and the manager is terrible...

Asked if they take any competitors coupons and they do not. Was shocked to have a synthetic BLEND cost $116 when use to paying $85 at Jiffy Lube. So called manager was was less than helpful or friendly. Wont go back.

I googled to see if they accept American Express & I saw they did, so I went in to get my oil changed- then I got there, asked the young man wiping down my windows and mirrors & he said that they did accept Amex. Then, after the oil change, they say they dont accept American Express, So i give them all the cash in my wallet- which still doesnt cover my $46 oil change bill, and then I got yelled at. In front of the 2 year old that I nanny, who got scared. Definitely NEVER going back.

We pulled up and waited behind another car for 25 minutes until one of the guys finally came up and asked us to move to the back of another line because there was another car who had been waiting longer. I had my baby with me and had spent that 25 minutes trying to keep him calm while watching each employee move so slow it appeared as if they had complete apathy for life itself. I will never so much as look at that place again, let alone try to get my oil changed there. What a complete waste of decent real estate. I hope someone else buys it and turns it into a Jiffy Lube. Terrible.
