I start with the negative. You did the tire rotation. Why after driving hundred yards I get low pressure alert? I stopped check the pressure and see that its 30 p p s on all four tires, not 33. Not a big deal but makes me wonder. Otherwise I appreciated that you met a discounted price from another dealership and performed service very quickly. I really hope tire pressure was the only mishap

I looked at about 4 cars and he was very understanding on what I was looking for and my budget. I went in to talk about my options for turning in my 2019 lease and James helped me find a shiny new lease in a short time! I didn’t expect to walk out with a brand new car that day but it relieved a lot of stress from me of turning in my lease and figuring out my next steps. Booked an appointment to address my latest Honda Civic recall. I knew my car was in good shape, well maintained going in. The staff honored my appointment on time, and were very courteous. They also added a multi-point vehicle inspection plus an exterior carwash. Recalls are not the type of thing that dealership service nor car owners enjoy dealing with, but they were very professional about it, and no fuss, no charge. Service was completed ahead of time. 10/10 experience overall.

Solid place for oil change and check up. Staffs are attentive, responsive and are very helpful. There is a nice room with complimentary beverages to wait in while your vehicle is being serviced. The website and text/email system are set up nicely to remind/ confirm your appointment or requests.

I’ve been coming to this dealership whenever I want a car. The salesman that helped us was great! After helping other clients, he immediately asked us if we needed help. Sadly he was the only one and other salesmen would just stand there talking to each other, I don’t know if it had to do with our cultural background or skin color? One guy saw a white couple and immediately helped them while we were waiting for several minutes. Overall, it worked for the best because the salesman that helped us was very informative and knew what he was doing.

Three things that stood out are memorable customer experience, impressive inventory, and efficient management. We had a specific choice of color preference that was only available in this dealership (from Worcester to Boston). Being a first-time new car owner, we have many questions and needed to be guided in every step. We received the best care from two great guys, James and Kim who was very patience, prompt in response and stayed with us in every step in the purchase process. Rocky helped scheduling our visits at our convenience in spite being a popular (and busy) dealership. We enjoyed Joes enthusiastically walk-down through the finance and trade-in formalities. When I need another car, they will be my first stop.

Be aware of you own maintenance schedule!The technician recommended a brake fluid change 3 months after it got done at the same service center. And the technician also recommended a rear differential oil change which is done less than 6months at an other dealership. It makes me wonder if the previous technicians did not perform the change or the current technician did not check the service history and actual testing. The explanation was they are transitioning to a different system. Very shady. The only reason adding a star is fair efficiency.

There’s really no other place to purchase a vehicle. The certified vehicles might as well be brand new!! The staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. Not once did I feel pressured and they’ll do whatever they can to work with you, your needs and your budget. My car was detailed and loaded with a full tank of gas before I picked it up! Unethical and irresponsible sales tactics. Flat out lied to my face and deceptively snuck in a $1500 service contract after claiming it would be $10 more per month. Last I checked $10 a month on a 60 month loan is $600 not $1500. When I called them out on it, I got some excuses like thats just the sticker price, not the actual price I am paying. Also a complete lie. They said they would cancel out the policy and lower my financed amount. Im still waiting and I am currently paying interest on that $1500. I get that its a sellers market, but you can keep things classy even if youre a car dealership. Ive never had a dealership flat out lie to my face multiple times. Buyers beware. Ive also contacted the attorney generals office about consumer rights violations and they are very interested.

Samantha Lambert and Kim Suon were incredibly helpful and personable and I highly recommend purchasing a car from them. Kim did everything he could to expedite our purchase quickly. My only complaint is the overall vibe from the finance manager Cassandra, I dont know if she was having an off day but the paperwork process with her was off-putting and it felt like she was scolding us over questioning simple things. Also, its never great to start a pitch with bumper to bumper warranties do not exist... then follow with I recommend you buy this extra bumper to bumper warranty from me. Give Kim and Samantha a call though!!

My experience at this location has been horrible. Lets start with the purchase of my vehicle, I went to trade my car in and was looking at the Honda Accord Sport. I asked about a model with sunroof to verify what I would be paying monthly and the sales guy tells me about the EX model instead of telling me about the Sport 2.0 that comes with a sunroof. I didnt find out about the Sport 2.0 model until 2 months after I had already purchased my vehicle, great job on the sales rep end in not mentioning that model. Every time I call to schedule a service appointment I have to call several times for days until I can speak with someone. Once I was left there for 3 hours waiting on my vehicle for a recall update that needed to be done, 3 hours later nothing had been done to my vehicle. Today again, I called several times to speak to the service department, not one person to attend me. I called Kelly Honda and they answered right away and scheduled me for this week. I found my new location to take my vehicle going forward.

I have a 2019 civic. I realized the bottom shield came lose couple days ago, called the dealer to make an appointment. The customer service told me to go in right away, and will fix my problem ASAP. I got there the technician then says they are super backed up, still working on cars that came in the morning. The two departments are not communicating well and the service center is overwhelmed.When I went in this morning for my appointment, the person looked at it and said the warranty wont cover it. To my knowledge there can only be two reason the bottom shield, 1. I went in there last month to do the fuel pump recall, and also had them do my oil change, they must have not put it back on correctly so it went lose, or 2. Its a poor design from Honda. Apparently doing a little research online, this model tends to have this problem. I knew I didnt damage my bottom shield since the oil change last month, because I hardly drove the car.They guy told me the shield is bent and I must replace it, and the charge comes to $322.I looked up online, this part only cost less then $100, so they are charging over $200 to screw on a shield. They refuse to cover it with warranty because they claim this is wear and tear. I dont understand where the wear and tear comes from because I hardly drive the car, since the oil change I have only pumped gas once. This is the 5th Honda sedan between my husband and I. This civic is only 2 years old with just over 8000 miles. This is the first time the first of our Hondas where the bottom is falling off.... clearly this is either a design issue or they simply didnt put it back correctly after the last oil change but they refuse to admit.So I went to my my regular mechanic guy. He showed me they didnt even put the bolts back after the last oil change. They simply tucked the aluminum shield into the plastic shield and didnt bolt it. Thats why after a few drives its basically falling off. On top of that, the guy at the dealer told me this aluminum shield is bent so it has to be replaced. But my mechanic just took it off, lightly straightened it, its looking like new and perfectly fine to use. He simply clip it back on, and found some bolts to screw it back in correctly and its totally fine. Cost me only $65.... vs dealer charging me $322!I think this Honda service center was just sloppy job or they are too overwhelmed, overbooking themselves so things are not done properly. Terrible experience, and imaging getting coverage on your warranty? A joke, but ripping you off every chance they can (at a dealership), should be expected.

Let me tell you about my experience with this dealership. First off I chose this particular location based on friends recommendations of friendly staff, clean environment, great service and being that I was looking to lease my first car, I liked all those positives so thought to give it a go!When my sister and I first arrived, we walked around, looked in the show room cars, probably for about 10 minutes without one person approaching us. I started to feel like maybe this wasnt the placeAND THEN..Kim! Kim approached us and we were so glad he did! He was immediately apologetic and sat with us to answer any and all questions. His knowledge, patience, friendly and genuine personality was such a relief, especially with such a nerve racking experience. After Kim helped me navigate through all my options, it was time for me to head to finance. EEK Im not a numbers person, I get so anxious with all that, but let me tell you about the finance guy!OSCAR!Not only was a dapper dresser, but he was kind, thorough, and respectful of my anxiety of the whole situation. The backup camera stopped working on my Honda. I had called to make an appointment about 10 days ago. I had explained my issue and an appointment was made. At my appointment today, I was greeted with the same professional quality service that I’ve always had here. But I learned that the part was out of stock and it would have to be ordered. What bugs me is that I was made to visit the site when this could have been done over the phone 10 days ago. Anyway, I’m not angry, just thinking that this could have been handled more easily for both of us.

I get the car back three hours later and the headlight is STILL OUT !!! Its still out now, would that come up in the inspection after work was completed???

Mother in law bought a brand new HR-V with a to-be installed remote starter that she paid separately. It has been almost 3 weeks and we havent heard from them about an appointment to install the remote starter or anything at all. We have called daily and left voice mails still not a call back. I just leased a new 2021 Honda Pilot Special Edition and the whole process was basically automatic. You give them the necessary information and they handle the rest. From registration to insurance is done all for you by the amazing staff. Alex the sales manager, Ben the sales manager, and Brad the General Manager are Awesome! Alex actually referred me to Geico and saved me $110 a month! switching from Liberty Mutual. Special thanks to him and the whole staff including my Sales Rep Franky, and Amanda who handles the registrations of all vehicles. She had my plates the day after signing, which right before a holiday weekend is very difficult to do. Mcgovern will have me as a customer for a very long time indeed!

This was the worse car buying experience of my life. I signed my purchase agreement 18 Aug and was not able to pick up my vehicle until 27 Aug. For days I attempted contacting the salesman or finance manager to inform them my bank had been trying to reach them. For two days the finance managers phone went straight to voicemail, and she never returned any of my calls. She incorrectly filled out the paperwork and instead of admitting her mistake she passed the blame to myself and my bank for not contacting her on her personal cell phone number. I have never seen such horrible customer service as no one cared, blame was constantly put on bank and not the finance manager who clearly messed up and refused to take accountability. What should have taken 2-3 days took over a week and it wasn’t until the general sales manager got involved that anyone acted like they cared. Wish I could give them 0 stars

Now operating as “Honda Cars of McGovren” not “Honda Cars of Boston.” As a result, they do not honor any deals or specials previously honored by the old owner. Thought my oil change/tire rotation would be free as I leased a car from the old owners and was promised this when I signed the car, and then had to pay over $90 for it. Additionally was told that it would be over $350 in maintenance to fix my broken side mirror. Doing this myself took about 10 minutes with a screw driver and a YouTube tutorial. They tried to tell me I was incapable of doing it without the aid of a mechanic. Total rip-off and uninformative. Will not be using them for maintenance again.

Not only that, we got one of the most non professional sales person, didnt know anything about the car plus the finance guy was rushing us to make a decision (telling us he has to go home, like we’re not here for business) tried to get us a 72 month loan, totally crazy. Every time I call to get help I am dumped into someone’s voice mail and I never hear back from them!My last lease of my 2021 Honda Accord was a nightmare! I was told that I could get into my new lease for $1000 down and $249/mo (my previous lease deal was &223/mo)Well I ended up paying $268/moNot to mention that my salesperson dropped the ball in regards to getting my registration taken care of with my insurance company. Thank goodness Commerce (Mapfre) Insurance is always on the ball!Mind you I have been buying or purchasing all of my vehicles through this company since my 2006 PilotI have been in customer service for over forty years and how this company can survive is beyond me!

Hello I just want to say how thankful I am to have a wonderful team of experts at McGovern Honda of Boston. I have been a customer of theirs since 2010 when I first purchased my vehicle. Ever since then I have met Alex & Oscar who have always helped me out a lot when purchasing a vehicle and making the right decision for a vehicle that will best suit my family needs. Alex Avanesau & Oscar has always put their time and effort in giving me as much information I need and I have always been very appreciative of them for taking of me. Because of them I keep coming to McGovern Honda of Boston to purchase a new vehicle every 3 years that I lease with them. The time and response that I received here is always perfect and I have never has any issues or complaints about them. I really hope that Alex never goes away because he is the reason clients keep coming back to him like I do. I thank Alex for his services and support when I see him every 3 years. Service was good overall. Great commicatuon. Rating 4, as service said it included a complimentary hand wash and car was still dirty afterwards. Either bad job washing or was not completed. Not a big deal, as I took it for a car wash myself afterwards and it looks great now!

I leased my pilot here when it was Honda Cars of Boston. I wanted to do a lease buyout. Took nearly 30 days and 2 trips to the dealership before my application was even processed. Now 6 weeks later still no call back. Ive called 4 times in the last week and still nothing. Im completely unimpressed and at this point wont be returning.

Service dept at Mcgovern is great! Always fast and friendly service. Ryan Foley really helped me out, I could not get an Uber while my car was being serviced for a recall so I was basically stranded there. Ryan was so kind and checked with the technician to see how quickly they could get it done so I could get to work on time and the TEAM came through for me! Thank you all so much!! They always go the extra mile at this place.

If you are looking to sell/trade your car in hands down the McGovern Auto Group is the best place to do it!!I listed my car on Craig’s list and market place on Facebook. I received an email from Myles at McGovern Auto about his interest in purchasing my car. We negotiated a price that worked for both of us. The next day they picked up my car at my house which was super convenient, gave me a check and the sale was done!!This was by far the easiest, hassle free, convenient and smoothest car sale/trade in I have ever had! I would highly recommend the McGovern auto group to anyone!

The MOST FRUSTRATING leasing experience I’ve ever had. Started out easy enough - our sales associate seemed friendly and informative, but when we were passed off to the business manager we quickly found out that McGovern Honda practices shady business tactics, giving sales people a bad rep. ALL the information we were fed about the lease from the sales associate was false. They made us sign paperwork before even being seated with the business manager, lied to us about what was included in the lease, and tried to tack on additional fees without telling us what they were for. THEN when we actually went to pick up the car they told us to come get it the next week and started ghosting us the day of until I called and raised a storm to get the car I ALREADY MADE THE MONTH’S PAYMENT FOR. THEN when I went to go get the car inspected at a gas station (which the Honda associates said I could do) we were told the car wasn’t registered in the system and that we had to call McGovern Honda to address it. So I did, but when I called Honda about it, they were incredibly rude and said they didn’t know what I was talking about and told me to bring it back in for an inspection appointment. So we tried - We called 4 times within a row within an hour of them opening and no one picked up. We called on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS to schedule an appointment and it’s simply impossible getting anyone on the phone. It’s as if they are trying to con me at every turn. Would never recommend coming here to do business unless you’re in the mood for an incredibly frustrating experience with rude associates.

I bought my car here a year ago and I wish I had gone somewhere else- the customer service is awful. The actual buying process was ok enough with the seller but his dad was beyond rude and unhelpful for what is a big decision to be making! They sold me a car with a punctured tire and when I called about my light coming on a mere week into having the car they were incredibly rude and unhelpful despite my warranty still having been in place. Ended up getting it fixed somewhere else. Another time I had to call I was all but hung up on when trying to schedule service so I called the dealership in Cambridge where they were incredibly nice and helpful! I will not be setting foot in this place again

Ryan and Taylor in the service department are the absolute best. They took my vehicle in even when they weren’t taking any new appointments. They were so kind to me when my car was completely out of commission and needed a loner vehicle. I have been taking my car here for service for a year now, and wouldn’t go any where else!

This was the worst first experience I’ve ever had! They honestly don’t care about you nor your credit. They don’t even give you a call back when they say they are, nor does the manger answer the phone or give a call back. Why did I call to cancel everything and I still have yet to receive my refund for a car I put on hold that in the end I never got?! Mind you this was done mid June.

I highly recommend Them they charge expensive but hey don’t rip you off and they tell you everything little details that going on with your car .
