I took a valuable item to be packed and shipped. I was told packing would be about $30. They also told me they would call before shipping with different shipping prices so that I could choose. I went to pay today. I never received a call with any option on shipping. My bill was over $70. I dont know why and I dont know how they shipped it. But the shipping choice was not approved by me. Ill never go there again.

I love Pony Express!! Great place to mail anything. Also there are all sorts of novelties and trinkets all beautiful and wonderfully presented! They also have mailboxes you can rent like the Post Office. But here you can get much more courteous cheerful help and ideas. All sorts of Treasures. Very nice!

I like this place wayyyy better than the post office for mailing packages. It is quick and convenient. And sometimes there is a little dog there who is pretty chill.

The Pony Express is the place for shipping! Dave kindly offered to pack and ship an antique wax doll head for repair in Michigan from the Erie County Historical Society. The recipient called me to state that Dave really knew what he is doing! All the pieces arrived in first rate condition and now the job can be done. This place is a great alternative to going to a UPS store. They are friendly and foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I especially loved seeing Harley, the sweet doggie sitting on the counter. He makes sure to say hello. Dogs are so humanizing and should be a part of every business:)

Amazing job! 🤩Everything I shipped arrived in perfect condition. Considering there were 8 boxes and 2 boxes with framed pictures/artwork going from Erie to Tucson, Id say thats about as good as it gets. The packing job on the pictures was phenomenal. I am so glad I went to them for this shipment, as it meant so much to me. I wouldve been so sad if any of my memories of my parents had been damaged.Kudos!Thank you for everything!

Very unprofessional. Went in to make a purchase and there was a small dog walking all over the counter. Business should maybe think about customers with allergies who may not want to have a dog close to them while checking out. The woman at the front desk did not even attempt to shoo or move the dog away when it came closer to the register. Very bizarre for a business.

IDK what people are saying when they say bad things about the service here but it was great the man behind the desk was very nice and helpful I will continue to go here for now on instead of driving a few miles to the post office. They have everything you need under one roof and its cheap just like the post office

I echo the same sentiments per the bad attitudes. seems the majority of the employees are arrogant and rude, but this is the norm for erie, so few locals will notice. i could go on, but nah, some of you get it.Update: mid april, 2019, another horrible attitude. again, its beyond me how businesses in erie stay afloat, but then i think again that this is a small, one horse town, so everyone is used to it. businesses dont have to worry about competition, because there usually arent any nearby. that being said this was my last visit to this place, i hope one day to see them fail.EDIT: just had to mention the further arrogance of this place, they let their dogs walk on the counters while customers are doing business(aka give them money). The unprofessionalism is again just the norm for erie, horrible, god forbid someone(me) have allergies to dogs. maybe ill contact BBB and report this place

I dropped off a package and they claimed it was nowhere to be found. Im not sure how that happens, as they say it never usually happens. Had to do a full refund on a sale.
