Went in today for 2 gallons of paint for work. Nathan V. was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to address me as a customer. A pleasure to work with.

They sell hardware. They are not building things. Theyre not experts they told me I cant do something. The salesman was hollering. I did it. Many times. A company my have different names.. A salesman about went through the roof when I didnt have my mask on. Maybe I have a condition which prohibits me from wearing a mask. They lost our business, over 1000 bucks a year easy.

Staff was very helpful and got me to what I was looking for quickly.

This location has some of the friendliest customer service I have ever experienced. I went in with my husband and my 11mo daughter to look for parts to build her a busy board for her Christmas present. An older gentleman followed us around and listened to our ideas, as we told him what we saw on Pinterest and were trying to replicate it. He found each part we asked for, and told us to come back anytime we need more and he will gladly help us out again. He was super friendly, informative, and patient with us and our daughter. Im very pleased with Value Home Center at this location!

I am not much of a handy person. So whenever I go to a hardware store I am guaranteed to need assistance. Today was no exception. I went in looking for a new gas dryer hose hook up (turns out that was not what I needed). Immediately when you walk in there were 2 or more employees waiting to greet you and offer their services. So of course I asked one for help and told him what I needed. He then explains to me the correct information I needed for my dryer hookup and is patient with me as I try to understand and explain what I have tried/failed at. I ended up having to go back home and get a piece for comparison but that was not their fault. After doing that, I came back and found the CORRECT piece that I needed and.l verified my finding with and employee. Their customer service is awesome and I appreciate going in and having someone knowledgeable and patient help me everytime!

Friendly staff. They usually but not always have what i need. Its a small chain so i understand the higher prices but it is closer to home so the short trip helps to offset the higher price.

A wide variety of hardware products, nicely price and great sales. Very nice sales people who are happy to help you, unlike the bigger box stores that I wont mention but Im sure you know who I mean. All around a great store and very good management 😃

I prefer going to a small hardware store like this instead of a big-box store. Greeted and offered assistance as soon as I walked in and was pointed to exactly what I need. It was conveniently just a few feet away from the registers. Was able to be in and out in under 5 minutes. Staff here are always very friendly and knowledgeable.

My favorite hardware store, hands down. The service here is top notch, from the store manager to the checkout counter. The staff are VERY knowledgeable and ready to explain exactly how the parts are put in/utilized. I go nowhere else in the city, and the big chain stores are within a buck or so on price, so what I save on gas, I get back on that small town personal touch. I purchased a Box of nails approximately 2 months ago. They ended up being the wrong ones For the project my husband needed. I no longer had the receipt but had the card they were purchased on. And this was not good enough for any sort of return. Now I have $30 worth of nails that I will never use. I have never heard of a store in this day and age that cant do a return from a debit or credit card. Needless to say we wont be shopping here any longer

The new main street hardware store. Valu bridges the gap between mega store and small local hardware. Unlike the huge stores near the highway there is nearly always someone near the entrance asking if you want help. And again - unlike the massive stores - you can be in and out in 5 minutes with the right part. They dont carry fifteen of everything but they do seem to have at least one of anything you need. The prices are good especially if you include the cost of your time - the time you save by going to the store down the street instead of the day trip to the airplane hanger near the mall.

Valu home centers are always the most considerate, helpful, and not so big you lost...the sales persons are knowledgeable and will help you find 59 things on your list if need be. They are visible and go out of way to be a huge help to make your shopping and even help load your car!!!

A nearby hardware center that can be very convenient and inexpensive, if they carry what you need. Im never quite sure of their brands or the spotty quality-but if you need to make a repair in a hurry, more often than not you can get a part that works.

Kind managers, informative employees and decent prices. My bike broke down in front of their store once and they lent me tools to fix it so I could get on my way. They didn’t have to do that. That’s tops in my book.

Customer service is excellent and speedy. An employee answered my questions and even checked with a manager just to be sure. The store is far easier to navigate than Lowes or home Depot, less bewildering and customer service better.

Needed some items but short on time, went to neighborhood Value Home Center on way to our appointment...Got in-Got it-Got out and Got there- on time. As soon as I walked in the door the cashier greeted us and offered her assistance and then escorted us to where I needed to be. I thanked her but moments later I needed some more help. A very busy employee with an arm full of paperwork came by but I interrupted him because I thought I was very late for my engagement. He dropped everything to help me until I got what I needed.Now, Im home and can slow down,and work on my pet project- thanks to V.H.C. employees !

Bought a tube of caulking and caulking gun but did not understand how to use it. The tube broke (my fault). I took it back and the manager explained my mistake and totally make everything right. Great customer service with a smile. ☺

Went to Buffalo Road store for plumbing parts. The items we needed to look at wete locked up. Noone had zoned them by pulling the small items to the front and the glass was not 100% clean, so they were hard to read. The associate started off rudely saying he could read them. Goodie but I am the customer and I cannot. Then, my hubby was trying to ask for something specific. He couldnt get it out right. He has had a stroke, amongst other health issues. The man practically yelled at him. Telling him he didnt have that. It was then I told hubby we were leaving. He feels HE is the problem. The associate was older than us. He should of at least been more pleasant. We did go to another Valu, which was good. But we will not go back to the one 5 minutes away frim us. Treat folks the way you want to be treated. Disability showing or not.

I shop at Valu on the W 38th Street all the time staff is very friendly, however the staff at this store leaves a lot to be desired, not welcoming at all. They seem mad at the worl all the time.

This one is next to the VA medical center, and just down the street from the zoo. Good values, knowledgeable staff, and a nice loyalty program are part of why I like this chain.
