Christmas lights are up and in the festive spirit!This is a really cool brewery to check out and all the lights really will put you in a good mood. The beer is on point too as expected so no complaints there.They have two levels and pretty much is all outdoors so good for social distancing as well.

Came for the music bingo at 6 on Wednesdays - very fun time! The beer is good and well priced, and the outdoor space is fantastic (especially now that its cooled down). Pictured is their special keg grosé, which was interesting/enjoyable

One of my favorite breweries of all time. The outdoor section is great during all seasons. It’s shaded in the summer and now has heaters in the winter. The beer itself is some of the best you can find from a craft brewery.

One of the friend recommended this place.I tried IPA from list. It was good .Space: it has big outdoor, indoor and upstairs space .Food: they have outdoor food truck. Potatoes and hummus is really good.Cleanliness: it’s clean space, table and restrooms.Service: it’s good and quick.I heard that it’s really good in summer time .Here, city has lot of breweries options so I don’t know what is best but this is good options if it’s nearby.

Awesome brewery with very nice beer. They have a rather good, albeit limited selection of beer. I dont exactly remember what I ordered now but I had a stout and one other and both were delicious. I loved the ambience however I am partial to outdoor venues. No kitchen but they have food trucks which is also nice.

Besides the bartenders being a bit unable to hear basically anything we said (it wasnt that crowded, but I think they were out of it as it was Sunday just after 11am, when this place opens, you know the post late night focus problems), great place! Would recommend any bear I tried in my flight. The Express Stout is the strongest flavor. Oyster Stout went down easy.

Great local brewery, tons of outdoor seating and a great place to meet up with friends. Close to the heart of downtown but not really around very much. Parking is a bit garbage so try to beat the rush times. Limited but adequate indoor seating. Nice clean aesthetic.

Fantastic beers and a nice taproom with their tapas coming off of a cool stovepipe arrangement behind the bar. They also have 2 TVs for sports events and outdoors the are a slew of picnic tables under a raised deck and trees as well as in the open. They also have a visiting food truck particularly on the weekends. Today they had Soomsoom Pitas and Ive also seen Sympathy for the Deli. Parking is a bit tight in their lot and there is on street parking as well.

Loved the place, I only tried one beer so I would need to try more to truly taste the beer overall.

Great pizza and local brews. Incredibly rude staff. We came and were snapped at by a thin blonde waitress reminding us of the mask mandate. (We were wearing masks. My fiancé had briefly pulled it down to taste a beer sample, then had forgotten to pull it back up before speaking to order.) The same waitress then came outside, less than FIVE FEET from where we were standing (because no tables were available), and began trashing us to her coworkers seated at a picnic table. Just about every no-no you can think of for customer service. Honestly I felt hurt and frustrated by the ordeal, and I waited tables for several years and would never treat a customer like she did. So I called and left a message for a manager to let them know what happened. Never heard back. Really disappointing.

Ponysaurus has a great variety of solid beer selections. I particularly enjoyed the Golden Rule Saison, but at $8 for a flight, its worth trying a variety. Also, their bar snacks are too clever! $1 a scoop for Cheetos, popcorn, and bar snacks, among others. Great atmosphere outside, as well! Ill have to try their grills sometime this Fall.

Our bartender was absolutely amazing, Margo. Her and another bartender, whos name has escaped my memory, took the time to recommend some local thrift shops and shoot the s***.Beers were mostly good. The Golden Rule and the Scottish Ale were amazing. We enjoyed the Réserve and their IPA, too. Mind you, a very minimalistic IPA, but solid.Venue really beautiful.

We really liked the atmosphere at this brewery and its lovely to sit outside. The beer is nice and the even sell awesome merch! It seems to be a place where a lot of people meet, you can easily fit there, if you are a larger group, too. The food trucks seem to change. Ours today was delicious and very affordable. I really recommend this place.

Very laid back place to enjoy beer and company. I personally prefer ciders and their cider is delicious too. Though the bar only sells snacks, there is a different food truck parked at Ponysaurus daily which offers variety. Though a brewery, this place is family and dog friendly - there is plenty of space on the lawn for kids to run about and be themselves. Head upstairs on the patio to watch the Durham sunset if you prefer a little more quiet and maybe bring a card / board game or two to pass time with friends.

Im really happy with the improvement in their beer over the years. I used to dislike the beer here but I find many good choices now. During these pandemic days, the management and layout of this brewery is phenomenal compared to others Ive been to. There is so much outdoor space and plenty of tables with ample distance apart from one another.

The beer is stupid good. Saison, stout, IPA ... everything was outstanding. Staff seemed to open to talking about their stuff too. Just a fantastic place.

Great beer, great people, great environment. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful afternoon sitting outside on a warm day, drinking a variety of cold beers. We would people-watch and dog-watch while chatting about who-knows-what. Also, I met some really cool people so theres that, too.

This brewery is not only doing a fantastic job with their covid precautions, the beer is fantastic. While visiting the area, we were able to enjoy their beautifully decorated, large outdoor space under heaters. The staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit again next time we are in town.

PonySauris was amazing. They have very good beer. It was my first time there. They have a lot of Covid precautions in place. We sat at a picnic table outside and felt very safe.

Lately they’ve been out of like 40-60% of their beers. I don’t know if it’s a COVID thing or what, but just comparing to what it used to be like, where they had like 20 beers to choose from and how they have 6, it’s not my favorite.Despite that, I do frequent this place quite a bit. They have excellent outdoor seating. Multiple levels, and in the winter a few fire pits. They usually have a new food truck there just about every day, so there’s always some food options.

Pony was already one of my favorite spots pre-covid, but they went above and beyond to make their spot both safe and fun the past few months. One of the only places I feel coming to regularly during the pandemic.

Ponysaurus has a smaller selection of good beer. There isnt a huge rotation of one-off beers but the core offerings should have something for everybody. The space is very nice with an outdoor area.

Went to Ponysaurus this past Friday. Beer was good, and most of the staff was friendly. One female bartender (dark hair, tattoos on her fingers/knuckles) was very rude and didnt seem to happy to be there - I recommend staying away from her. Otherwise, good time.

Great place to grab a decent beer (fair prices) with ur friends. plenty of picnic tables with standing heaters and what looked like a good food truck and no one under 12 allowed in, so u dont have to worry.

What a great time we had at Ponysaurus Brewing! They have a wonderful backyard area which is heavily shaded and dog friends. Ponysaurus has sensible Covid rules in place which ensures everyone is safe and can focus on sipping their delicious brews. Great spot.

Great selection of brewed beers on tap. The flights of 4 are definitely worth trying. Loved the outdoor park setting and second level deck area. This is a good place to bring a family and sit outside. Food options limited to food truck(s) and snack scoops which are actually really good. Overall a great visit and would definitely go back.

Bad service. I know with Covid things are a little strange, but I was at the bar about to order a t-shirt, just to be told I couldnt stand there after ordering a drink. I guess I would have had to walk all the way back and around, even though there were no guests in line (Figured this out after reading similar reviews). You can be nicer to your customers.

We tried to come here with our two-year-old son and they wouldn’t let us in because they don’t allow kids ”that can walk.” I love their beer but I will not be supporting this place anymore because that is extremely rude. Such a policy, restricts a huge amount of the population who have children and just wanna go enjoy themselves with a beer on the patio. We, like most parents, are responsible people who don’t let our child run willy-nilly, because that would be dangerous. We drove 12 miles to come here, only to be turned away. Thanks for ruining our evening.

Nice ambiance and the IPA was really good. However, the bartenders seemed generally bothered that we were there. I know this is a weird time for food service/breweries with all the COVID-19 precautions - that still doesnt justify the poor customer service. Also, they dont tell you this up front, but they make you get back in the entrance line if you need to just close your tab, so I recommend getting as many drinks as you can carry and closing out at the same time.

This is my favorite local bar/brewery. I love the ambiance, lights, and outdoor area. However, I am pretty much always disappointed by the bar staff. They seem annoyed when I ask questions, never ask me how I am/make conversation, and are clearly NOT smiling under their masks as the sign says lol. Im always super confused by this-- if you dont like your job, go do something else. I always enjoyed working in the industry and would at least enjoy my shift or make it fun/interesting when I was working. Im not sure why bars continue to employ people who DGAF. I understand the covid situation, but there are still ways to interact and enjoy their night as well...Needless to say, I just get a drink and go outside. Its close to where I live and outdoors, so I will keep coming. It would be nice to be friendly with the staff.

Good beer selection, food truck outside. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They accommodate families, but they also had a sign encouraging you to keep your children in line because it’s a “adult space.” 👏🏻👏🏻 The slogan and coasters were clever. Plenty of parking. Staff were quick and answered our questions. So many puppies! We love how dog friendly Raleigh & Durham are.

Beer was very good, but zero customer service!! Sorry folks. I dont like to leave reviews like this, but sometimes we have to experience tough Love. This one review will certainly not affect your business, Im sure, but maybe you might tighten up on the service aspect.

This is always an enjoyable experience. Their beer is rotated regularly and always delicious. The bar massive and super clean. They don’t have food but there is always a food truck and the bar offers snack varieties (jars not bags).The outdoor seating is huge and they light fires some nights when it’s cold.This is a perfect spot for any occasion.
