Ive been coming to this store ever since I was little. My mother, me, and my sister would come in this store almost everyday; we loved this store. I think it when the facility was under new management is when everything went left. Prices went up and quality went lower. Today was the last straw... I was one of the last people in the store and I was smelling the roller scents and was told not to open the product to smell (which is the whole point of buying it) or even pick them up. I put every single item back and left so she lost her last sale of the day lol and was mad, she even watched me leave the parking lot as well which was highly weird of her .

To post that you will be open at 8am and then it be 9am and you are not open is UNPROFESSIONAL

The prices here are higher than majority of the beauty stores in Durham. Granted, they do have both high end and low end things but the prices are usually $3 more than the vendor or their competitors. I usually only come in and out for what I need if I don’t have time to go elsewhere. No tester items are on display either so you may want to be sure you know the product you are buying well.There is only one person who usually can help and understand what you’re looking for and need. While there are two people on register who don’t know the price of things and utilize the other lady who is helpful.The store is very cluttered and everything is kind of everywhere. There is always a line because of the disorganization. I really think the store has potential but as of now it’s not my go to or my first pick. You will have a hard time if the younger lady is not there and you need help finding a product or a recommendation for a good product.Two stars for the lady who helps and runs the whole store basicallyOne star for locationBut this store needs to work it out

Very sweet people, didn’t have the color I had originally wanted but gave me two wigs caps for free. Hair is very good quality for a great price. Will definitely come back

Honestly, this is the only hair store that Ill visit in Durham. The staff and management are sweet. They have all the products that I need. They have great taste in wigs and never let me leave looking crazy.

Great customer service and helpful staff. My card was charged twice and I didnt realize until the next day. I called and they knew exactly what I was talking about. They spoke with my card company and my account has been refunded. Will certainly be back eventhough the other location is closer to me. Highly recommend.

The ladies were very helpful in assisting me with my hair piece purchase. They were knowledgable in hair types and helped me select a wig that was very complimentary and looked very natural. Thank you.

The ladies who who here are very helpful and nice. They are a little high for almost everything compared to other stores, but if you dont feel like driving and are in South Durham they are a great option. I have no complainants.

They are slightly more costly than other local beauty supply stores, but, they did have what I needed, wherein the others didnt. They are well stocked...

Good price just need more stuff

Very poor customer service, I literally just left this place. Was standing at the register, and neither person that was right by the register also asked me if I needed anything, I only needed one thing and wasnt even acknowledged, so I gladly left. I will spend my money elsewhere. I will never go to this place again for anything!!!!!!!!

Its sufficient however my wife states her experience in terms of products is better at Beauty World.

The customer service here is great! The two ladies who work there everyday are the sweetest.

Online states it opens at 9. There’s no times listed on the door nor are they open. Not business like to not open on time

Cheap prices for mostly decent stuff

If youre in RTP/South Durham, and youre looking for a decent BSS, this is a good option. They care all the basic products, as well as items for kinky-curly textured hair, a decent section of wigs, makeup, etc. Its a fraction of the size of Beauty World, but it will do in a jif.

I just recently moved to Durham and I was looking for a full service beauty supply store. The best beauty supply store experience. The prices were standard and my Irenes and I were helped 15 minutes before closing.

Prices too high can buy at other stores for less . Not helpfully

Lots of choices

My family and I walked in to try on wigs and we were treated like pure crap. The wig attendant was huffing and puffing while we were trying on wigs and complaining like that wasnt her job. It was unprofessional and the manager told us to get out of the store. They lost $300+ because of their Unprofessionalism and bad attitude.
