I was not told while purchasing a wig that it would be final sale no returns. They have a sign in front of the register that states in bold you can exchange items within 3 days.When I pointed this sign and also not being told about the final sale policy for wigs, I was then told they have other signs in the store that say wigs are final sale. These are posted at random aisles in the store and “wigs are final sale” is listed in fine print at the bottom. Again I was never told this while purchasing the wig. VERY deceiving. Also not allowed to try on wigs in store. I’m out of $130.I learned my lesson and will never shop here again.

I would suggest everyone to go to icon Beauty Supply. Its black owned and you would not have to deal with Asains who want to just take your money and not provide you with quality products

They usually have all the items I am looking for and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The shelves are organized, not overcrowded with products. The prices are reasonable too.

I love this place!! I wish I knew the ladys name; she saved my wedding! I have never worn fake hair, and I had no clue as to what I needed. She had me out with everything I needed in 5 minutes. Not to mention they have EVERYTHING 💖

Love the deals here and customer service too! Items here are a lot cheaper than Sallys and other major stores too. You can find cheaper things here than in Walmart as well, you just have to compare items. Large wig selection too. Will keep coming here in the future :)

This is the BEST beauty supply store Ive ever been to. Whatever I had need of has always been available. The store has ALWAYS been very clean, the customer service is the BEST Ive ever experienced since I moved to Durham 3 years ago from establishment! My compliments to the staff and owner.

My client went here and was specifically told a certain hair could be colored. When i applied color with (40dev) to be exact. The hair didnt color. My client went back to see if it could be changed out or get her$ back.The worker proceeds to tell my client he cant do nothing. Terrible customer service! The hair was only $45 smh

They must think all black people steal from beauty supply stores. They had the heavy set young lady follow me around the entire store pretending she was looking at her phone. I dont steal and I dont have to steal.

Love this store for all my beauty supply needs. From wigs to crochet braids to hair accessories you name it. They also have a wide variety to choose from and their prices are great. Staff is very friendly too. I live quite a distance from the store but I dont mind driving the distance to get great service.

Sometimes is buy one get one free, 20% off or buy one get one half off.I have to edit my review 1/2021. I bought 2 wigs and I usually dont return anything but the wigs had a manufacturing defect. One was never opened and that was one I was taking back. The manager on duty was rude to me. Honestly it surprised me because I have been there quite a bit. I had never received this type of customer service from here. Since my budget is tight probably wont go here for a while.

Was looking for a specific Heat Protection serum for my hair and I had been to most salon supply stores, none of them had them but when I gave NC Beauty Outlet a chance, I thought that a I wouldnt find it there and I just about gave up looking until the young lady came to my aid, and she found it for me in no time. Today was my third time at the store. On this day, an older Asian man and an older Asian woman were there. I got an urgent call, so I stepped out for 5 minutes. When I returned, my daughter said the old man sneakedly cornered her and told her there was a 5 wig limit for try ons and that she couldnt try any more on. There were three woman trying on wings with nobody waiting. Each time she tried on one, she put it back on the mannequin and returned it. I went to the counter to confirm what he told her. He said yeah and something unintelligible so I gave him his quarter and put back the items I was going to buy. How the hell can you buy something without trying it out first? They do not give refunds! I refuse to spend my money where the workers pick and choose when they want to be friendly or helpful. Its always a matter of time before they switch up.

This is my SPOT!! Prices are great and the staff is always so nice. They also let you know if a particular type of hair will be discontinued for whatever reason. I also like that they feature sales on staples like Eco styler gel.

A very pleasant young lady asked if I needed help and offered assistance.She checked on me but also allowed me to lookon my own. Hands down the best priced hair store in the Bull City!!!!!! Their selection is not as big as the big beauty world off Avondale dr but one thing is the discounts are included in the prices for wigs and hair. You will always find polite and professional employees here and the owners are so courteous.

They have so many great products at a fraction of what other beauty supply stores try to charge. The place is very clean and bright. The aisles are wide and everything is organized in a manner that makes sense. Its definitely not like other places where things can be anywhere and everywhere. I dont wear wigs or hair pieces but I saw thay this place has a wide selection to choose from and most things were on sale.NC Beauty Outlet is also in a very convenient location. Its in the same shopping strip as the Dollar Tree across from the Wal-Mart on Glenn School Rd. So now I can shop for hair products in the same trip as a Wal-Mart run.The #1 thing that sold me on the place was how friendly the manager was when I went. He informed me of all the sales and pointed me in the direction of the products I was looking for. He held the door for me on my way in and out. He also didnt follow me around the store like I was a potential criminal like some workers try to do in other beauty supply stores. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer!
