Pharmacy experience is the worst here. 3 people working and they cant manage the workload. Even after having an appointment for a flu shot we had to wait for 35 mins. Ridiculous service. Never ever coming here again.

This place used to be a mess until they got new management and new employees. The change truly improved the entire atmosphere of the store. The Cashier Donald was very welcoming and friendly!

I was trying to transfer a prescription to this pharmacy. The first pharmacists put me on hold once she heard that I want a transfer, which left me clueless. And the second pharmacists did exactly the same, and I thought maybe some other person does the transfer. Then when I realize the third person is just another pharmacists at the same location, it is apparent that the previous pharmacists just dont want to handle transfers! This is absurdly unprofessional. I decided to call a CVS instead.

If I could give no stars I definitely would! I had to basically flip out on the Pharmacist yesterday 3.20.21 just to get my prescription transferred to another pharmacist because 1 they were ripping me off price wise, 2 always telling me to call OptumRx, 3 the lack of professionalism was just beyond me. Then the Pharmacist lied and told the new pharmacist that I didn’t have any refills remaining and wouldn’t send the scripts over. The. I had to call back for the 4th time to make her do her job and her response was I’m a fill in! It doesn’t matter if you’re a fill in or not treat each customer with professionalism and with respect and do your job tasks. I will never use them ever again!

A family member was COVID tested at 11am on a Friday. Every time I checked the lab portal, it said that the sample, has not been received at our laboratory. I called Walgreens to check on when the sample went out and the pharmacy said that they didnt know, and that maybe it didnt go out until this morning (a day later). They claimed to have no way of knowing when the sample was picked up. Either they have no way of tracking their COVID samples to the lab or they didnt want to check the FedEx log to let me know. Either way, very poor service.

The pharmacy is wonderful. They are quick and they always help me with my questions like where to find certain things and what options would be best. The only thing they could improve on is the cashiers at the front of the store. I almost walked out without buying something because the cashier was having a full blown conversation with another employee before checking me out.

I live a minute away from this Walgreens. The pharmacy techs here are just very unprofessional and immature. One tech was on the phone with a difficult customer and she handled it unprofessionally. Once she hung up she loudly said “oh my god, she is annoying” when you’re working in a pharmacy, you should keep that to yourself and not say it loud enough for all of the customers to hear. It just makes you wonder what else they say about customers? The pharmacist was there too but he didn’t seem to mind her attitude, he had a smirk on his face. I also went a few months without insurance while looking for a new job, I had an RX coupon for antibiotics but the same tech refused to honor it because I already had a coupon code on file. The one I had on hand would have saved me $10 more but she didn’t bother honoring it. I could have really saved the money since I was out of work at the time. The 2 Walgreens a few miles down are worth the extra drive. They are a lot friendlier.

I dont go here because as soon as you walk in youre hit with the smell like a homeless mans sleeping bag. They need to require that the employees take showers or something. This isnt an isolated incident. 3 times over 2 month period I experienced the same pungent odor. Never going back.

Now the 5 star experience thanks to Jake. So after my horrible experience with the rude manager at the Vogel street location. I show up in tears at this location and ask for Jake. The cashier calls him up and she says are you the lady that was on the phone. I say yes. Jake comes up and I show him the gift set and he looks at it and says ohhhhh....I see what may be the problem...he says I dont know if we sold this gift set this year, and that is maybe is whats the problem, but how about we scan it and see??? I said thank you because the Vogel street MANAGER NEVER ONCE OFFERED to scan (I guess since he had it in his mind that the set was stolen), so Jake scanned it, and guess what???? Although cheaper than the price on the box which was 27.99, it rang up for 16.5, and yes I LITERALLY have the receipt. So not only does Jake say you are good for an exchange, while I am looking he comes and tells me where I can find discounted perfumes since I am not going to add what would be about 25.00 to get the Ariana Grande perfume since its 39.99. In the end, I get a cheaper Ariana Grande, gift set for 22.00, and because of the horrible and HUMILIATING customer service I got from the Vogel location, as a courtesy Jake says he will just ring it out as an even exchange for all my trouble. I hope this does not get him in trouble, I am only mentioning that because THAT was how important protecting the Walgreens name is to him, that he wanted to make another managers callous mistake and poor customer service right, and I will forever remember him kindly for that because the manager on Vogel Street really was rude, mean, and most importantly he HUMILATED me----- all the things he callously stated he wasnt trying to do. I am not a never type of person, but I AM NEVER GOING BACK to the location on Vogel street ever again. Even if it means its the LAST one in Durham or Raleigh. I wii drive 3 hours to get to another Walgreens.As a woman of color, it is already hard and hurtful when others stereotype you because of your hair, etc. Its a triple punch to the gut when its done by someone from your own race. At the end of the day, the gift was probably a REGIFT my mom gave me, but one scan like Jake did would have solved the mystery, but noooooooo...the Vogel street manager just KNEW I was some ghetto black woman with big old braids who obviously was trying to exchange stolen product. SMH. Shame on you.....

Excellent pharmacy service. I cant say enough for all their help with my monthly medications. When my insurance raised the price they contacted my doctors office and got this fixed! They are always on time and very accomodating. I recently moved and changed pharmacy for two months and returned to them. Its hard to find this kind of service. Thank you for caring!!

I love Walgreens but this store is one to stay away from!!!! I found no disinfectant sprays, no plastic ware(laundry baskets etc.) No brand name paper plates( just cheap junk)Thats all I was looking for that day, so I walked out with nothing !!!! LYNN Apex NC

I ordered photos online, for same day service. I went to pick them up many hours after the allotted time. The staff could not find my order at all. Then they told me the machine was broken. They asked me to wait for awhile...and after about 10 minutes I asked them for an update. There wasnt one. They asked me to come back the next day. That was frustrating, but I left. The next day I received an email saying the photos were ready, so I went in. They were not ready, again. I again waited around, as asked, and they completed my order with me in the store. This was a huge waste of my time and the process needs refining. The staff was very nice about it, but overall it was frustrating and time consuming.

12/28/2019 10. Am. When thing to get medication prescribed by doctor for flu the worker at the counter in the pharmacy had no idea what I was talking about and didnt seem all there. He made a little effort to run my insurance and charge me well over $100. Pharmacist did not know what was in Mucinex. I was very disappointed by my visit

Had severe cough, went to the aisle and found this expired product 5 months ago. I found couple of other products which were expired and close to expiry.Reported this to the staff and they were not even concerned with this. They are playing with our health. If you are buying any product with walgreens first check the expiry date. Or just avoid going to walgreens
