This is the most respectful and well run car shop I have ever been to. Craig and whole the staff is always kind and fast with oil changes. My inspections have always gone smoothly. I have gone here for 3 years since I moved here and couldn’t be happier with their service and prices.

Charged $60 just to evacuate air conditioning freon. I didnt want to let it out into the atmosphere, so I went here. Usually places do it for free or even give money because its just giving them free r134a freon.

Called and explicitly asked if they worked on transmissions. They said yes. They worked on my car for a couple of days, forgot to call me and inform me the car was finished and now my car wont start or drive and they now say they cant fix my car because its a transmission issue but had no issues taking my money. (Refer to the first sentence). My car is worse than it was before I came. Waste of time and money

Customer beware! Do not go here! Save yourself the headache and your wallet! I brought my vehicle in because the heat was not working. At first, I was told it would be around $300, which I was fine with spending on my older vehicle. However while they were working on it, a piece broke, which they never took responsibility for. Then I was told that this piece was necessary for the vehicle to run. So I had no other choice but to get the piece replaced, which brought my bill to over $900. This is not acceptable! When I brought my vehicle in, it was running fine, just didnt have any heat. Then they broke a piece which costed me several hundred dollars!

So I needed my headlight assembly replaced on my Yukon. I called and explained what I needed done.I was quoted 400 plus in labor to take out and put my new headlight assembly in and was told it was a all day process to replace. I had already brought my replacement headlights. So I just needed them put in. So long story short, I called another place and was quoted 130 to replace and 2 1/2 hours to do..Moral of the story shop around..This place is to high..

I have been a loyal customer of Massey Brothers for 3 years, and I plan on being a loyal customer for life! These guys are fantastic. They do high-quality work. My moms 2003 sedan that had always had problems before is now running great because of Massey Brothers. Best of all, they dont overcharge you! They will always try the most conservative repair first, and if that doesnt work they will deduct the cost of that repair off of the cost of the second try. I will enthusiastically recommend this team to anyone wanting a reliable mechanic they can count on to take great care of their car!

Always friendly, and as someone who knows about cars, they are honest. Great place to get fast inspections. They will let you know about maintenance things you are going to be needing, but they dont try to pressure you or make you think your car is going to self destruct if you dont choose to get them done that instant.

GREAT SERVICE! I recently had to replace a bad alternator and they replaced it hassle free! Prices are very reasonable, service was QUICK (I was in and out much quicker than I expected), and the staff seem HONEST. Wes gave me a quote on repair and the repair cost was exactly the same price as quoted. My experience was 5/5. I would DEFINITELY recommend this shop!

Everyone was professional and helpful. I didnt have to wait long. They explained everything to me and didnt try to add anything extra or decieve me because Im a woman that doesnt know much about cars. They were so kind. This is my new auto repair shop of choice. These guys ripped me off. The fuel pump on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 went out up the road from these guys one night. After reading plenty of good reviews about them I had my truck towed to their shop and called first thing the next morning to get a quote on the job. They quoted me $740 for a new fuel pump ($305) and 3 hours of labor plus tax ($435). I called the Auto Zone next door and they had the same fuel pump in stock for $160. I bought it and brought it in to them to save the $145 they would have charged to walk next door and pick it up. At the end of the day I walked out paying $435 in labor (3 hrs x $135 + tax) for a job that has a book time of 2 hours and in reality only takes 1.5 hours. $135/hr is absolutely ridiculous. These guys are crooks. After leaving I called a few other local shops in the area and they all quoted the job between $250-$300 in labor. My mistake on dropping my truck off at the wrong shop. You live and you learn. For $135/hr I should have been getting a lap dance in the waiting room while getting a shoulder massage and eating a complementary lunch.

Kind of weird location, but great service. They seem a little distant/unfriendly, but they are good at telling you what you need to know, getting your car work done, telling you when you would need to come back, and telling you needed vs superfluous repairs. Honest, hardworking, and efficient. Good comfortable waiting area inside.

I was so incredibly impressed by Massey Brothers. I brought my Jeep Patriot to them within 24 hours of me calling and requesting a diagnostics test. I was treated with respect and professionally by each and every employee I interacted with. I was informed up front about diagnostic cost and a proposed timeline. They called me within just about an hour of dropping off with a quote and they were able to fix the issue within a few hours. Not all auto mechanical fixes are that easy but I will be going no where else beyond Massey Brothers due to their honest and speedy repair ability. Truck is running great and I could not be happier to have them in South Durham as my go-to spot. Thank you Massey!

I started coming here about 15 years ago when I worked in RTP for the convenience. Ive stayed with them all these years because theyre good, fast and trustworthy. Its difficult to find a repair shop that I can trust so Ive stayed with Massey Brothers even though I now live in Apex and have to drive 20 minutes to get here.

These guys are awesome. They are honest and are one of the only shops I can find in the area that doesnt try to take advantage of me because I am a girl. Night and day difference between them and the 4 other establishments I have tried. I really appreciate your honesty and customer service. This is now my go-to mechanic in the whole area.

Had a flat tire that I needed to get plugged. Called them on the phone due to good ratings on here and they worked me in as soon as I got there. Reasonable rate for getting it plugged and friendly fast service. Would recommend.

I started going here about a year ago and they seemed really nice and trustworthy! But during my recent couple of visits they have proved themselves to be Very untrustworthy and will try to overcharge for services and tell you that things need to be fixed that actually do not need to be fixed! I will never go back! Be careful, be smart, and get a second opinion!

Customer for life!I went to Massey Brothers for my standard oil change earlier this week and they did a fabulous job as always. When I got in my car I noticed the seat felt a little damp and I called to explain that it felt swassy. The owner was incredibly apologetic and asked that I bring the car back immediately so they could clean it and make it right. I told him not to worry about it just wanted to let them know so nobody else had a similar situation. Then I remembered I had a coupon for $5 off, which I forgot to use at the time of my service. I went back to see if they could honor the coupon after the fact, at which point the owner apologized again for the seat and pulled $5 out of his own wallet because he couldn’t give a refund but he wanted to honor the discount. I highly recommend coming here for the quality car service and customer service!

I have taken my cars to Massey a few times now. Each time they act quite professionally, work expediently and are pleasant to deal with. They didnt try to upsell any repairs or products. I felt that the prices were very reasonable. I had one experience with them that makes them stand out as exceedingly honest- I received a quote over the phone from them and had them do the repairs. When I went to pick it up, they said the total would be 300$ (some 25% more than quoted). When I pointed this out, they rationalized the extra expense, researched who had spoken to me, reviewed his notes and still stuck to the quoted price. They could have charged me the higher amount; the work had been done, the parts were purchased, the pricing for the extra repairs was competitive. However, they did not, at their expense. I will continue using Massey as long as I can.

No frills, but no pressure for upgrades, either. Close to a Walgreens and a Williams Gourmet Kitchen, so you can do a few errands or have a snack while you wait. Highly recommend.

Terrible service! Stay away! I had two bad experiences with Massey Brothers they where dishonest, rude, and very pricey trying to money you to death. I would recommend going to a different shop for your automotive needs!

I paid $15 for an air filter and was charged $55 for labor. I do apologize for not addressing this in person; at the time I was distracted by having to call my insurance company to file for a recent accident. I’m not impressed with the service that I received even though I’ve been attending Massey Brothers for at least 1 year.

Ive taken my truck there several times and it seems like their prices arent consistent. I will call and ask for a quote and provide the details and the parts, but when I bring it in for service they provide a different quote...weird?

Completely unprofessional. charged too much. told me car was done drove 45 mins for them to call me and tell me they needed a 5th day to get something done that couldve taken 3 days.

I asked them to fix the problem. But during diagnosis, they broken my plastic rim in the shifter and forgot to connect the wire. I will never trust them.

I have been going to Massey Brothers since I moved to the area 11 years ago. I trust them and would not look elsewhere for a repair shop. I am extremely skeptic when it comes to repair shops and I don not have to be with Massey Brothers.
