Test drove a car and was negotiating with Jacob. He brought back the manager with his list of repairs that he had done on the car. Which he read to us and lowered the price $300, that was the best he would do (manager).The car had almost 60k miles on it and would be due for a service ($2000). So my husband asks if they would do that and we would buy the car.10 minutes later a very heated manager comes out and tells us we are not “educated “ enough to know the deal we are getting. Jacob the original salesman was nowhere to be found.Crazy how a simple question could provoke the manager into such a state. We were going to purchase the car regardless, but had that question. After the manager came out with his brilliant sales technique we left with no car.Reading the reviews this isn’t the only time he has done this.

I drove through on a Saturday afternoon and although he was busy with another visitor, Roderick took a moment to acknowledge my presence on the lot and offer his assistance if I had questions or wanted to review anything. Overall experience was good and easy. After visiting a nearby dealership and being on the lot for 45 min no one came out to offer any assistance, I drove to Mercedes Benz of Durham and within 5 min and his second day in the role of sales Noah Baker came out to offer his assistance. Worked with Noah a few weeks before I found my car. Noah is EXTREMELY nice, sweet, and patient!! I would recommend this dealership and Noah to anyone and would go back for future purchase.

After trading in a car of higher value to Mercedes-Benz of Durham to get a car of lesser value, I was told that they would pay me the difference. The difference was only $500 but I expected to be paid. Leaving the store, I was told I would get my check within 10 to 14 business days. After waiting a month I called and was given the runaround. I got the runaround the next four times I called and long story short after the sixth week of trying to get my check, I spoke to Grayson Dixon. He was the sales manager I worked with and promised me my check by the first of the month. I gave it to weeks into the month before I called and complained. They told me it “slipped through the cracks“. They told me “this doesn’t happen a lot“. They are apparently sending me my check on Monday but who knows at this point. I had a terrible experience with them and still have not gotten my money back after 3 1/2 months. They were not apologetic or helpful. Every time I called I was told the person I wanted to speak with was not present and that they would call me back later. They never did. When I finally was able to get a manager to do his job, I asked why this happened. He told me that no one ever initiated the process for me to get my check in the first place. I would not suggest working with these people. They are unprofessional and Did not do their job.
Just had my 3rd service appointment here (all have been standard mileage based visits) and all went well, as usual. The service team guy I deal with (John H.) is always sharp and great to deal with. Thanks for easy service visits - I highly recommend this dealership.Update 2021-10-18: I went in for new tire mount and balance (all four) and everything went quickly and correctly.The tires have slightly different sidewall patterns and all four tires got mounted the same way, which is great. These folks have always been great to deal with - I highly recommend Mercedes of Durham.
I have been told there is no loaner car, and it will take 3 hrs for 20K maintenance. Unfortunately, it took over 4 hours. Also, Jeff recommends rotating the tires and make the balance for the tires. at the end, they did not rotate the tires and I paid for unnecessary balancing the tires.
I had been going to local one person shops for all repairs. I thought I was helping out small business and I thought it was cheaper. It has taken me several years of one person shops either not getting the repair right the first time or the cost didn’t seem any less than Hendrick.I have found out that it is worth taking my car to Hendrick. They gave me a loaner. They give a year warranty on parts and service. They wash the outside and clean the inside of the car. But more than that, they kept me up to date on how the repairs were coming and when they would complete the job. I worked with Seth and he is like the concierge at a 5 star hotel, which is exactly why I rate Hendrick service a 5 out of 5.Oh, they are a small business too and they earned my business.
Very professional dealership like the other Hendricks dealerships I have done business with including Lexis, Toyota and Chevrolet. Very courteous and on time with their appointments and estimated time to complete the service work.

I’ve purchased many vehicles from various dealerships across the United States but this 100% was the best experience buying a car I’ve ever had and the bar was set pretty high previously. I inquired about more pictures of a car I was interested in (I received a very nice detailed video of the car!!) on a Monday and that same Thursday that car was in my driveway with me taking ownership. I never called nor went to the dealership in person everything was handled seamlessly through email which was amazing. Josh Schwartzman is definitely a great person, extremely professional, yet very friendly, his attention to detail as well as his drive to leave no question unanswered is second to none. Went to Mercedes of Durham to look for a new car and trade my current vehicle. Met Noah Baker and was immediately impressed by his smile and like ability. Explained we werent sure on what car we wanted and wanted to explore the line. Noah said no problem and every car either me or my wife pointed to and said we wanted to drive, he got the keys and off we went. Noah was never pushy and we felt he was there to simply help up find the vehicle we wanted. He never tried to “sell” me anything especially the higher priced ones. Well after deciding on a model now they had to appraise my car. Here we go..... Nope. Sales manager came back with a fair trade value, we agreed and bought the car. I haven’t always been able to say this, but the whole process was enjoyable and I recommends Mercedes Benz of Durham, but especially Noah Baker!

Just recently purchased a used vehicle through this amazing team! The whole process was super smooth and far from overwhelming! The sales guy who helped us was Josh and he was not a pushy sales guy. He made sure to explain all of the options in my price range very thoroughly and helped me find the perfect vehicle to fit my needs! He also ensured that even though it was a used vehicle it was delivered almost new! Very poor service attitude, if I can give me a star, the service attitude of the financial manager (female) and sales manager (male) are very poor. Choose carefully to buy a car here, otherwise you will experience a particularly poor service.
I brought my S560 in to have my panoramic glass roof fixed. While fixed, they left my car dirty (inside and out, during COVID no less), I had to reach out for communications vs their proactively communicating with me, and it just left a bad taste with me. I can buy a car anywhere, but service is what keeps me coming back. I now have to pay to get my car detailed.They lost a customer. It was that distasteful of an experience.
Kris was awesome when I asked for help and service. Whenever I come in he is friendly and courteous. He also knows me by name as well.

I had an appointment at the Mercedes Benz dealer at Southpoint to have some recalls fixed on my car. I encountered Kris McCray at the parts counter. Kris was exceptionally friendly and super helpful. He was knowledgeable and efficient. I literally picked out items from where I was sitting and he told me not to move that he would get them for me. He was also in-tune with my preference of the items I picked out based on a our short interaction. In my opinion, Kris more than exemplified the Mercedes Benz experience. His interpersonal skills and happy disposition was a breath of fresh air. Customer service is a lost art these days, but Kris seemed to genuinely happy to be servicing customers. I spent quite a bit of money on MB accessories and mainly because he was so helpful and kind. Kris also made sure that the items I purchased were installed on my car before I left and didnt need to do it myself.The following morning, Kris made sure to give me a call to let me know that the items he ordered on my behalf had arrived. MB sends an email to alert customers that their parts have arrived so the call from Kris was just another example of his excellent customer service and going above and beyond. Kris is a model representative of the MB company and this was by far the best in-person experience Ive ever had at Mercedes Benz of Southpoint.Kris wrote his name on a post it note so that I would remember his name when for when I completed my review.. An exemplary employee such as Kris, who is in a highly visible position, should have business cards to give to customers.

This is the first time I visited Mercedes Durham, but the fourth time got help from Mr. David Spicer. I followed him from one dealership to another during the past four years, and really appreciate his work.He is able to communicate sufficiently with mechanics, then explain the cause and the consequences of the problems in great detail. He prioritizes the jobs for me and help me to make repair decisions. Mechanic Robert precisely located the issue and fixed completely. We shopped for quite some time. Finally decided on the MB GLB 250, and found the vehicle in the right color combination and with the options we wanted at Mercedes Benz of Durham. We sent an online inquiry to the store and were fortunate to have Grayson Dixon respond. Working with Grayson has been a pleasure. He was always professional, courteous and responsive to our questions. Because we live 150 miles from Durham, we didn’t have the luxury of visiting the store to view the vehicle. Over several days and many conversations, Grayson answered our questions and when we decided that this was a true contender, he made sure the vehicle was still available before we made the journey to see it in person. Purchasing our new vehicle from Mercedes Benz of Durham was easy and seamless. Only wish we lived closer to use their service department.
