I am really particuler about getting work done on my car ans have struggled to find a honest place that does quality work. I have been to this location twice now and they are amazing! They really take the time to explain things, they do quality work and they have fair prices. I highly recommend this shop and i will be sending my family here for any future work they may need on their vehicles as well. Great place!

They helped me to replaced two tires and fixed the spare tire. Stuffs are friendly and service is great! Chris even helped me to organized my back trunk where stores the spire tire and tools. They definitely goes above and beyond and I’ll never go to another place for same service.

Excellent and honest mechanics with very fast service. I have been to this place twice now and had a great experience each time. The second time I had some engine issues which did not require any parts to be replaced, and they did it for free!

Very good experience. In todays time it is hard to expect good service but I was pleasantly surprised today. Did all the work I asked for plus a little more I didnt expect. I had been meaning to top off the washer fluid and they did it without asking. Bad lug nuts on my car and they replaced them. Great Job and I would recommend this shop to anyone. My visit to this shop was a pleasant experience. I will be back.

This place is THE BEST. The only place in this area I have found that won’t try to nickel and dime you. I was expecting a 1500-2000 bill, but they did everything they could to help me cut costs and ended up being 700 for the BEST QUALITY WORK. The guys in here are so friendly, also. Stopped in this morning as a walk-in for a tire that appeared to have a slow leak. Thirty minutes later, leak fixed and out the door. Friendly staff, professional techs, great service.

During our travels to Durham, we must have picked up a nail in one of our tires and had a slow leak. I wanted to get it fixed before traveling four hours home. They removed the nail and repaired the tire. They wouldnt accept a penny for the repair. What wonderful people to do business with. I thank you and appreciate the kindness!

Typically I do my own maintenance work on my cars, but were moving and my tools are in storage. I just needed a tire rotation. Durham Tire & Auto came highly recommended by a local family member.I dropped in without an appointment, and they were able to take me right away. The rotation was done within an hour. The mechanic suggested that I replace my cabin and engine air filters, but I declined. I checked when I got home and those filters did indeed need replacing.Awesome service! Highly recommended.

I found this tire shop online and saw only GREAT reviews. Most shops aren’t open on weekends and or don’t bother with custom wheels/tires. Makes sense to come to this place through the week because my job is close by. I came for a tire rotation balance and an alignment. Well 3 hours later my car is finally ready. My initial drive out of the parking lot I noticed the same hard pull to the right. Also noticed the tire weights were showing on the outside of the rim. After talking to the manager I was told they’re two different ways to balance a wheel. Dynamic and static. From my understanding dynamic is a true alignment and places weights on inside and outside of the wheel. Now I’m not a professional and do not know the correct terminology to request certain types of service. I feel like if you KNOW the difference in ways of balancing a tire then explain that to the customer BEFORE touching their vehicle. Especially if I made sure y’all knew it was custom 22’s . Also when I brought my car in and you see that the wheels are balanced as STATIC. Ask the customer if they prefer to have them balanced the same way and explain to them the difference between static balancing and dynamic. Don’t wait until after the job is done. What really makes me upset is how I’m told all this after the fact. Ohh and after I spent $200 when I feel for a simple alignment tire rotation and balance should cost around $80-$100.

I took my car to Durham Tire and Auto for a quick inspection. They had me out of there in about an hour. I think that fair considering several other people were ahead of me. The guys were friendly straight shooters, Id definitely go back for other services.

Visiting Durham from out of town and found myself with a flat tire the morning I was supposed to be headed home. Arrived at the shop at 1130am and was told it would only be 40 minutes. Ended up not getting my car back till 130pm (I sat and waited in the lobby) but otherwise the service was good. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. While I do feel like 2 hours to wait is quite long to patch a tire I was generally happy with my visit and would return if I have car troubles on my next visit to Durham.

I was looking for a place to get my car inspected and had a reputation for honesty and reliability. I did an online search and Durham Tire appeared near the top. They were great. The appointment time was met — no waiting! And they got the job done — they were quick but thorough. I had been looking for a reliable and honest repair shop and I believe I found it.

I just had my car inspected and had the oil and filter changed along with having my tires (purchased at Durham Tire) rotated for free . They very smartly suggest this rotation at an interval even I can remember....with each oil change. These guys brought out my very dirty air filter and suggested that I should consider new windshield wipers. The Genious of Durham Tire is that you can TRUST that what they suggest...rather than using scare tactics... is not only necessary but even I knew that it was time. Great service..great mechanics and team..but most admirably...I trust that they have always and will always take great care of me and my car without worry. What more could you hope for..especially if you are slightly...o.k....TOTALLY mechanically challenged like me!!! We continue to have very good experiences at Durham Tire who have always given us good advice and good repairs at reasonable prices.However, we are considering taking our business elsewhere because the staff continue to not wear masks in their large inside space during the pandemic. This is not a joke. People are dying. Put on a dang mask and stop endangering your staff and customers.

Had to get a trailer tire repaired that had a bolt in it. They were courteous, efficient and reasonably priced for the repair. They had previously installed a set of tires on my car that went well.

Parking is tight but they are quick and priced fair.

I was in Durham for medical reasons. My boyfriend was having major surgery to remove cancer. During my stay the tire light came on. I filled my tire with air and hoped the cooler temperatures were the reason. Two days later the light came on again. I knew I had a slow leak. I feared driving back to Virginia with my boyfriend and having something occur with the tire on the trip home. I went into Durham Tire and asked if they could please check my tire. They were extremely busy. I explained the circumstances and asked if they could repair. Andrew was pleasant and courteous. He stated it may be a two hour wait. I told him I didn’t mind waiting. Well before the two hours were up my tire was fixed at no charge. THANK YOU Durham Tire! You eased my fears and I appreciate your kind courteous service. These are the type of people you want to do business with. They care about their customers!

We went to get an inspection. It was fast and easy, the staff was polite and attentive, and we were back on the road before our 5 Guys fries had gotten cold.Will likely return next year or if something happens to our car in the meantime!

They misdiagnosed the problem in my car and still charge the cost. I’ve have spent hundreds of dollars and the problem is still there. It’s not as good as it used to be. I would avoid this place. There are many car shops better and less costly around the area.

Being a POC I must admit that I was a little uncomfortable...the young man that assisted me was nice enough but it was the looks that I received from not only other employees but from patrons of this facility. If I had not needed tires desperately...I probably would not have patronized this establishment not because they dont offer quality products but the atmosphere was not friendly at all and customer service for all people could really use an overhaul. In the end only one color matters and that is green which is the color of money

What a refreshing experience I had at this business! I came in a little frustrated because I had gotten a nail in my tire from the construction downtown. I was all prepared to pay for a new tire. The guys put in on the lift, removed the nail, topped me off with air and told me the best news...I owed nothing! All within minutes...So nice to know there are good guys out there doing the right thing when indeed the nail had not gone all the way through. Thanks so much!

This is my favorite place to get my tires for all my 4 vehicles. There are few tires shops much closer to my house but I gladly drive the extra 10miles to Durham tires because of their very efficient service, good prices and nice attitude.

Took my car in to be inspected. I work up the street and I may have been at work for about an hour. Got the call my car was done. I paid less there thanI have in the past at other places. Very polite gentleman and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend and if in the future my vehicle needs any services, this is where I’m bringing it.

Not a single employee wearing a mask - will not be going back.I am shocked that any company would threaten the lives of their customers by refusing to wear masks. There were about 4-5 employees in the building when I walked in to get work done on my car last week. I walked up to the desk and it took me several minutes to realize that no one was wearing a mask and there was no social distancing going on.I was of course wearing a mask and I saw all the other customers wearing masks, as well. My mask protects other people, and the employees masks protects me. I have to travel to family in a couple of weeks and several family members are at risk. I just cant believe that I gave these people hundreds of dollars and they could have spread COVID to me and others in there with no regard to the fact that it could kill or make me or my family seriously sick. I will never be going back and I suggest others consider that their health is at risk before going to this place.

Haven’t been anywhere else since moving to Durham. Especially for the ladies, this is one place you can feel confident that you won’t be taken advantage of.

I’ve been getting my tires here for years. Great people and great service. I left my car there yesterday for multiple services, including tire rotation; I couldn’t remember where the key to the tire locks was in the car, and they had to find it for me. How embarrassing! And they were so good about it. Five stars always!

This is the last time I will use Durham Tire. The last 2 times I’ve taken a car in for oil change and tire rotation they have failed to do the tire rotation. I noticed the first time that tires were not changed and went back in and brought it to their attention and they completed the work. This time when they failed to rotate the tires I refused to let them rotate tires and asked for a refund on tires. This is a pattern of sloppy work and I will no longer do business with Durham Tire. Very disappointed

Durham Tire & Auto Pros delivered excellent customer service. When I called them just before noon, they had the tires brought over from the Raleigh store and installed them before closing time on the same day. They were very courteous and professional. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.

Customer service was outstanding. Came in for an alignment and tires, however instead of the car pulling to the left as it was, now ut is pulling slightly to the right. Wanted to drive it a couple of days and see if it balances itself out before returning to the shop. Thank you

Great, friendly, fast service on plugging a hole in my tire from a giant bolt I ran over. I used to go here religiously for service but havent been in a while due to a change in jobs that puts me on the other side of the city, but I think its worth the extra effort to get there so Ill be returning more often.
