This store is a joke. Went in yesterday to pay my bill in cash. 3 guys tell me they don’t take cash. Just really didn’t want to help me . Call the at&t in Lombard down the street. The employee at the Lombard location was confused on why they wouldn’t take cash. He thought it was joke.

Outstanding service offered by Tim P., the store manager. I had received a new Android phone in the mail as a replacement for an older, failing Android. I was having trouble transferring my data from the old device to the new one (as simple as that should be) so I brought the two phones into the AT&T store and Tim explained to me how the process worked. When I told him that my old phone could no longer take a charge and was at about 12% power left and I REALLY needed to get the data copied over to the new device he cheerfully did the job for me - and in very quick time. Within 30 minutes I was walking out of the store with my new Android fully synced with the data from my old device, all done compliments of Tim P. TOP NOTCH customer service. Thanks Tim!

Tim and Brenden were amazing. My boyfriend and I were previously on his parents plan and were shopping around for deals and plans, and from the moment we walked in we had amazing customer service. They were patient while we were getting the required information to switch, and also gave us great advice on which phones to get and what the transfer process would look like. I am so happy with the quality of service we received. 10/10 would recommend.

My wife and I visited two other local AT&T stores and after experiencing some of the worst customer service imaginable, we were one more nauseating-AT&T-experience away from switching carriers. Good thing Mark and Eden are holding down the fort there in Lisle!I called in the morning and Mark asked for my name so he could be expecting me when I arrived later that afternoon. As promised, he was available to help. We were not ideal customers: one phone was broken beyond repair, the other phone hadnt been backed-up properly, we needed to switch our accounts, and we brought along our four small children to boot. But Mark didnt flinch- he was professional, quick, and took the craziness in stride. Kudos to Eden, as well, for enduring the screams and helping us get our phones protected and ready for use. From now on, I will only work with these two regarding ANYTHING iPhone/AT&T related. Congrats, Mark and Eden. ;) Thank you for your wonderful service.

Tim P. is extremely friendly, polite, capable and above all helpful manager for AT&T. Being a senior citizen has the drawbacks of not catching onto all the new changes and Tim jumped in to help with transfer of data and getting me moving on to my new Apple from a Samsung. Loved my Samsung, but my phone was starting to miss the clarity of photos being sent from my family who all have Apple phones. The systems dont transfer photos from one company to another as well as they used to. I think they should be required to fix this, but it is just another thing not in the publics control. Again, kudos to my new friend Tim. I know if I have problems, I can always count on his help. Note, this is my 1st review ever.

My dad and I came in yesterday, 7/21, to see what was wrong with the phone I had currently. We were both helped by Eden D and she was absolutely amazing and so helpful. She knew exactly what was the issue with my phone and was very informative and truthful about the steps to take to get a new phone. She was so patient and had a very positive attitude and was doing great at her job. There was also another guy working there, I think his name started with a T, but he was also super nice. I could tell by the way he talked to us (when he didn’t have to) and how he helped other costumers. These two were great and if I have any issues with a phone or If someone I know is having issues with theirs, I will definitely recommend this store and these two specifically to help out!

I went in yesterday as my phone had been bugging out and I need it significantly for work, so it was emergency. I arrived at the store and Nick met me outside, before I could even call the number, to help me out. Nick had me in and out of there in under an hour with a brand new phone while making sure my charges stayed the same and I was taking advantage of the proper deals. Would highly recommend going back to this store, especially during the stay at home orders as they were very respectful of the orders while providing quality service.

I have 6 phones attached to my account and had been paying a very large phone bill every month for years. From time to time I would go to one of the AT&T stores to see if I could lower the bill while keeping the same services. The answer was always no. Recently I went to the a privately owned store located at 2321 Ogden Ave Downers Grove to purchase a phone at the suggestion of a relative who had received exceptional service there. This store was very different from the other AT&T stores I had dealt with before. The representatives were eager to help and very knowledgeable. In fact, the person helping me with my new phone purchase suggested (without me asking) that he look over my accounts to see if there was any way he could help me reduce my bill. Imagine my surprise and delight when he suggested that I change plans, get the identical services AND reduce the bill by our $200 a month. Of course I was suspicious that somehow this had to be wrong. I went home and carefully compared the plans with the other people on the account. Today I returned to the store and switched to the plan suggested by them. My bill has now gone down about $240.00 a month. Thank you to Ivan and manager Tim Panek. They are both very knowledge and helpful.

The customer service at this AT&T store is nothing short of fantastic. Id like to specifically praise Tim for his extensive product knowledge, excellent advice and insight. Hes also one of the most friendly, personable people Ive ever met. If I was a wealthy man with my own company Id triple Tims salary to work for me and Id let him pick his role in the company. Thats how impressed I am with Tim.He helped us pick out my fiancees iPhone 5 back in August 2015. I was impressed with him then, but forgot to leave a review.We went back yesterday to finally upgrade her phone. He showed us all the iPhone models and gave us the scoop on the benefits of each vs the cost. He gave us helpful tips about taking advantage of promos and getting a better value data plan. It was a superb buying experience and Ill mourn the day when Tim is no longer at that store to help us with our phone upgrades.AT&T, give this man a raise! Hes an employee that any company would be lucky to have.

I went to this store to upgrade my phone after 5+ years on an old iPhone. Id been to a different AT&T location in the area and walked out because I wasnt happy with the service. I was extremely impressed with the friendliness, knowledge and professionalism at the Downers Grove AT&T. Julius met me at the door, welcomed me in and took a personal interest into why I was there and what I needed. He not only walked me through my options, the storage capacity, pricing options but also showed me the multiple models and color options available before I made my decision.I was extremely happy with the service and will go back to this AT&T store for any future need. I bought a new iPhone 11 for my wife for Christmas to replace her old 6S phone. Tim was wonderful! He spent nearly two hours with her transferring all her information from her old phone (she couldn’t remember her iTunes password and Tim patiently walked her through resetting the password) then Tim walked her through all the features on the new phone and he answered every one of her questions without getting agitated. Tim and ATT on Ogden are worth driving a few minutes extra for outstanding service!! We did!

The internal ATT system was giving us trouble upgrading my fiancé and my phones and it took a couple of days for IT to fix the bug. I came into the store looking for an upgrade from my current phone. I was coming in with an open mind, not sure what exact phone I wanted, looking to learn more and possibly live test the interfaces. I was extremely disappointed with the overall selection process and inventory of this store.I did a quick search on the ATT website to see what kind of options were available. The webpage yields 47 different phones. Going into the store, I was promptly told that only Samsung and Apple were stocked in the store. I was very interested in the new LG phones but I have zero experience with that brand and it made it almost impossible to even consider spending 900+ on an LG phone I know nothing about. Although they made it clear that they can ship in any phone from the online store, I dont understand how a company that is so large and profitable cant fully stock their stores. Phones are the main product sold at this store, but they only have a third of the inventory advertised stocked?The information presented next to each phone was very limited. When asked about the differences between the three Galaxy s10 phones, I was told this one is slightly faster, this one has only 2 cameras ect. This resorted to me furiously googling everything on my current phone. The store primarily sells hardware yet theres no physical list for any of the phones specs regarding RAM, chip processors, or camera? It made it almost impossible to compare any of the phones.I decided on the Galaxy s10 but felt very uneasy on my selection. I asked if they had a demo phone to see how the interface was and how it responded to basic interactions but was told they did not have an s10 available for demo. I understand they have a return policy of 2(?) Weeks, but I want to feel more confident in the store before I make a 900 dollar purchase. The galaxy website states that four colors were available for the phone. They had two in stock.The prices for their accessories were laughable. They charged 50 dollars for a screen protector. The average price of a screen protector on Amazon is 15 dollars. I actively searched on Amazon for a single 50 dollar screen protector and could not find even one.The staff was very friendly and tried to help me as much as they could with what VERY limited resources they had; But my overall experience was still bad. Buying phones have become an extremely expensive event, and theyre treating it more like a candy shop when it should be like buying a car. Have the store stocked with the product youre selling, have actual unbiased comparison charts of all the products that outline the real specs of each phone, have things like tech demos to solidify any doubts of a phone, and keep prices of accessories competitive.

Not helpful at all, highly disappointed. They will charge $10 for a sim card when you could get it on AT&T official website for free(and free delivery to you). After some talking, they said they could do $5 for a sim card because that is what AT&T charge them. It is either they are lying or AT&T is dumb. Wasted my time. I wish I could give a zero star.

Horrible, added 3 phones to my account and 1 was broken. Came back 4 days later to exchange the phone they kept trying to send me to apple. Apple was backed up for 2 days and since I was with in my 14 day grace period I wanted an exchange which they denied me so I just returned all the phones, month or 2 later I get a $2000 bill from at&t and they are saying I never returned the phones. The guy Tim there is a complete moron. I just ported my #s to tmobile and at&t lost 4 lines cause of that guy. T-mobile sucks as well but have way better customer service. Honestly do not buy anything from this store on top of it all I never received my money back from the phones yet and when I was there returning my phones he was down grading an older lady because she was not familiar with her phone and acted like its such a big deal to help her out, honestly if I did not just have my baby I would of punched this guy in his throat.
