After searching for an adjustable bed for several days, someone recommended Rent-A-Center. I checked their website and found exactly what I needed. I completed the order; 5 minutes later Michael called. He provided the link for me to complete the financial part of the transaction. I completed that in 10 minutes and called Michael back. He setup the delivery for early the next morning. My search was over!!!! The transaction took less than 20 minutes and I didn’t have to leave the house!!!! Great customer service!!!!!

I also filed a complaint with the BBB. Also notice that the reply says “we can’t locate your account under your name” under all bad reviews! This place is a complete JOKE!!!!!If I could give no stars I would! They have Terrible service!!! They will tell lies one after another. The account manager (Anthony) The store Manager (Michael) is extremely unprofessional. Anthony is inadequate on how to properly speak with customers. Joyce was the best thing in that store. They will run your card when they want to without your consent!!! Promise a refund when confronted and still won’t do it! I Asked for the owners information and they wouldn’t give it to me because they know what they did was wrong. But I went every measure I had to and got my money back. As you can see by previous reviews, they were stellar as their customer service was exceptional, that is until today. I get extremely annoyed that ever other week they call me for a payment. I am well aware of when my payment is due and I pay it either bi weekly or monthly. Today again I get a call at 10 in the morning to again let me know my bill is due. I went to the store and again asked why they continuously call me. His answer WHEN THIS BECOME CYNDYS STORE then you can tell me what to do. REALLY this is how you treat a customer who has been a valued customer for several years? No I certainly dont think so. My furniture is soon to be paid off and I will not ever step foot in that store again. Its really a shame as I was getting ready to get a new Washer and Dryer. I would suggest to shop somewhere else. I know that I sure will.

For one i was tired of getting a phone call every week when i always paid told you guys not to call and harrass me and you still did, called the head office and filed a complaint and told them about the harrassing phone calls every week and how the day of my due date you guys charged me a late fee and it was not even 5pm, they apologized and told me i would be on the no call list so i would not get no more calls from you guys and i told them if i keep getting them i will be calling them back, the tv is not worth it so i will be calling them, too me poor business, like you get enough money from us so stop harrassing

I had a great experience when I came in Michael was polite and quick and efficient. The co worker Anthony was helpful and nice even though I thought he was a student at first.

Bryan here at Carrollton is a great rep! He helped me as much as he possibly could, the other reps were great to! I just enjoyed the way Bryan helped me get what I wanted!

This store has HORRIBLE customer service. The manager is rude and very condescending. We requested items to be returned and paid our bill but because of their lack of knowledge they wrote up the return wrong. Then during the conversation I was threatened with the sheriff being called to my house to pick up the remaining items even though they have already been paid for. I will make sure I report this too the corporate office as well. Seems as though this store manager has not noticed there are several other rental companies in this area and was obviously not trained on customer service. Ive had this account for almost a year and will not be treated as if I dont matter due to a manager attitude about doing his job.

I had a great experience with Rent A Center in Douglasville. I had no clue what I was doing online but they helped me in anyway possible and was able to let me get my merchandise ASAP. Will definitely be getting more stuff and dealing with this one.

It was fast they were very nice they had one play station 4 left and it was a pro but flex shopping online was going to charge me same price for regular play station 4. The sales associate was very nice and helpful.also the manage was great loved talking to him also we talked about my grand daughter and his son and daughter. Please read you rental agreement. All IMPORTANT information is not given to you by the sales representative. I bought a washer and dryer thinking I would have the 9 months same as cash option but I did not read the fine print and now have to pay over $2,000 for a $1,300 product. I also was not aware of an added insurance cost that you don’t need if you have renters insurance, home insurance, etc. Do not assume they will go over the agreement thoroughly with you! Take the time to read the agreement and the fine print of supposedly “same as cash offers”. I’m giving 1 star because I feel like important information could have been highlighted that would have saved me money from a customer service perspective. I agree with the former review that certain aspect of the rental agreements with this particular location is predatory to individuals with low income. Again PLEASE READ THE AGREEMENTS thoroughly and know what you’re getting yourself into.

AS SOON AS I GOT BACK TO GEORGIA AFTER BEING IN JAMAICA FOR A MONTH I HAD POLICE AT MY DOOR OVER A TV ITS WAY EASIER TO JUST GO TO BESTBUY AND PURCHASE ONE OUT RIGHT MIND YOU THE TV I RENTED WAS USED AND GLITCHED I CALLED AND COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES PRIOR TO ALL THIS BUT OF COURSE IN LIFE WE HAVE OTHER THINGS GOING ON I PLANNED TO RETURN IT ANYWAY WHEN I GOT BACK AND I DID BUT SHE PLACED CHARGES ON ME THEY WERE DROPPED BCUZ HER MERCHANDISE WAS RETURNED BUT ITS THE PRINCIPAL OF IT ALL !!

I ask for refund i was told the MANGER Mike said I can come and get my refund drive 31 mins away both ways jus to get for MIKE to tell me they dont have cash at the store! And a Lady named Donna was goin to Send me a check in the mail. I asked to speak with her I was told she went to the bank. Ive been waiting here 2plus hour no lady named DONNA. I dont understand why she will.send me a check and I paid with my debt card. I will call my bank for FRAUDULENCE

Probably the worst customer service Ive experienced. We bought a washer and dryer from them and it was broken. Tried calling them to have the issue fixed and was told it was out fault the unit didnt work. Which we never had a chance to to use. Long story short the issue was a damaged lid lock, which I ordered and fixed myself. The manager at this location is incompetent and a terrible asset to rent a center. If I could give 0 stars I would.

My sister and I have used the Douglasville ColorTyme for many years. I was hesitant to use a rent to own store but when our washer & dryer went out and we were stuck in a bind rent-to-own was the only option we could think of. Many years later we have used Colortyme to buy beds, TVs and furniture. The store manager Joyce and her staff have always been very friendly and worked with us if we found ourselves having a tough month financially. They have also always stood by their product, quickly repairing or replacing items usually same day.Friendly staff and a good selection!
