Doug was professional, gave me a same day quote, and a fair price. When he came to install he was on time and did an amazing job. He cleaned the work area better than he found it!! We were very impressed. I highly highly recommend D&S Glass!

I had them come out to give me a quote—this part was fine, guys were very nice and professional. Was told they’d call on Monday with the quote. Wait til Wednesday and call, tell the receptionist my name and say “Hey just wondering if they have a quote for me or if they aren’t interested in doing the project. Just let me know either way.” She puts me on hold, eventually hangs up or disconnects me. No one ever calls back. I wouldn’t waste your time with this company

Doug means well when he accepts the work. He is his own boss and makes his own schedule. Keeping your company afloat means grabbing all the work you can. However, most times he does not get to the job on time. He does not have set prices and will gouge you when he can. He also takes his time completing work whenever he can get away with it. The quality of the work is disheartening. The miscommunication between him and his office is immense and they are never on the same page. The answer is always you can talk to Doug. Conflict resolution is a big ZERO! How many weeks will it take for the customer to realize that the office didnt notify him of an approval on a job. Then you will wait weeks more for materials to arrive. Pay $100 more to another company and get your monies worth!

Absolutely horrible business. If anything I felt they came to case the location not do an estimate. I received my job assessment last week and I clearly explained to the two individuals what I needed for the shower and they also was supposed to take measurements for the interior exterior front and back doors which they failed to do. They told they would come back to take the door measurements. But moving forward I was informed that I would receive my numbers Monday this wasnt provided no call or any email confirmation. Ive called numerous of times and when I finally did get someone that following Thursday to try to resolve the issue I was provide numbers for the shower door casing and ask what type of door I needed???? When I clearly explain this that time of estimate. I was told how much the shower casing cost time of estimate. I hate to talk down about BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES but do not waste your time with this one. You shouldnt have to beg a company to do their job. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. Find a Company that knows how to handle business.

Were the owners of Jenna in White, a bridal salon soon to open in Berkley (previous store in Walled Lake). We had Doug (from D & S Glass) install mirrors for us today. We did not know when we hired Doug that he was a STAR! We are in love with the mirrors and the way he installed them. He was very straight with us, the price was very reasonable, he did his job extremely professionally (he even vacuums after each time he drills). Youre dealing with a high-end professional at a very reasonable price. Very impressed! This has been our best contractor experience ever! Thank you Doug!

I went paid in full for my window on Monday, Kia (older lady) told me it would take 3-4 days. I go back Friday window wasnt even ordered yet. She told me another 3-4days. Go back 4days later, window still not done that she will call me when its done, I go back again the next day window still not there, go back the next week and she say a truck just got here let me check to see of your glass is on this order and guess what! Very bad business. Didnt get the window until the 3rd week with no kind of little money back or anything.

I havent even made it past the quote phase and I KNOW I will not be patronizing this business. They were out to my home going on a week ago and I was told Id be called the next day for a quote. Never received a call. Called them and told theyd have it done next day. Five days later I call again and somehow hes still working on the quote. Told Id get a call back today before close..they close in 23 minutes and no call. Ridiculously unprofessional. BEWARE!

I showed up with a broken tabletop that needed to be fixed ASAP. He got it done the same day at a reasonable price and I was on my way. Highly recommended!

He buys his glass from glassco in Detroit for dirt cheap and sells them for double, and he also buys used doors from crack heads and repaint them,dont buy from him.
