Larry and Justin were very courteous and professional. Gave me a loaner Smart Car for while they were diagnosing and repairing my son’s older Honda. The part that needed to be replaced was going to be very expensive, and Larry was able to find a used one for half the price. Extremely happy with my first experience here, and will definitely return.

I dont know enough about cars to be even remotely dangerous, but he always answered honestly and with a professional bedside manner. I took my WRX in for 30k mile service and to have them put winter tires on my wheels. They did a great job.I also gave them the task of installing an aftermarket exhaust part (jpipe/downpipe), something i had fumbled with for a few hours and still didnt even have the first o2 sensor out.They made sure we were on the exact same page before i left the shop in terms of how much money I was willing to pay. They got it done in about 2 hours which was about as much as i wanted to pay based on what we had agreed upon that morning. They answered all of my questions, and called me to update me and verify some things about the install.5 * service

Every other mechanic I contacted was booked for more then 2-3 days. I needed my repairs done in 24 hours so I could go back to work since Im a delivery driver and I use my own vehicle. They delivered and gave me a full inspection letting me know ahead of time what I needed to repair. The were much cheaper than a dealership and very professional.

I drive one older car and they’re always good about telling me what I should probably spend money to repair and what I don’t need to based on how much I drive and how long I plan to keep the vehicle. I have recommended many, many times since, everytime in fact.They dont recommend services you dont need, they know what they are doing, they let you know what is happening and ask before they do the work.I have had new cars and 200k mile cars worked on there. We recently moved to Iowa and needed a routine oil change. Man, is this place clean. You seriously could eat off the floor or the ceiling fans. Thankfully they dont just do your oil change and send you home. They have a 40 item checklist and found a few minor things that needed done.The cabin filter had mouse debris in it and was filthy.

My wife and I were looking for a different vehicle and needed someone to look it over before buying it. We are not from the area, so we googled mechanic in the area. We found Ace Body & Motor. I’ve been doing business at Ace Body & Motor for more than 22 years. Larry Wieland and his son Jason are honest, fair and excellent communicators. They explain things, give the customer options. Their labor rate and other charges are fair and reasonable. The shop floor gets vacuumed and scrubbed at the end of each day. Maybe that’s not all-important, but it reflects their penchant for cleanliness and high standards when working on your vehicle. I’ve never had any issue or disappointment at Ace Body & Motor.

To say this place is incredible is an understatement. I called them about a week ago to set up an appointment to get a thumping in my car checked out. I’ve never gone to a repair shop for a major repair before so I was nervous about the cost and the quality of service. Larry and Pam were delightful and very helpful! They gave me a “Pam Special” while I waited, in addition to being very straightforward and honest with what had to be done as well as the pricing. The hospitality and kindness was incredible. While not inexpensive, the amount I feel was more than fair for the severity of the repair and the short notice. Larry was able to get the parts, fix my car, (it was a pretty major repair, something to do with replacing the struts) all in under a couple hours despite the parts being pretty rare. I have used Ace ever since I started driving these guys are great they know there stuff when it comes to autos. You will always be treated with respect they are very good at keeping you updated on your repairs if it is a major repair or just minor. I have owned four vehicles from Larry the owner and all have been awesome. I just recently was stranded in my SUV due to a water pump failing I called Jason at Ace within 30min a truck was picking it up hauling it there for repair, and to top that off I was given a very nice loaner to drive while mine was repaired I didnt even have to inconvenience my wife to pick me up. The next evening as I was getting off work my vehicle was done talk about quick honest service. Their shop is the cleanest I have ever been in which ties to the service you get. They also sell and install tires which is great. My most recent purchase is an older Toyota Camry in excellent shape from Ace WOW I love it.
