This place is a hidden gem. Walking in the atmosphere is so home-y. The music is relaxing and the vibe is immaculate. Definitely not pretentious, just super unique. The staff was very friendly and worked very hard to make whatever you ordered fresh. The prices are very very reasonable. Would recommend :)

The drip coffee is free refills which is awesome but it was dark roast which is my least favorite but...Starbucks is the king of dark roast coffee so I understand the popularity. I would like to say that the service was friendly and quick. The burrito was good so I’m not why the reviews for it are low. Go try it!

Very cute cafe thats worth a visit if youre in the neighborhood. Plenty of room for seating outside. The pastries and coffee were great, Id probably skip the burrito. Service isnt super fast but thats to be expected with two people working and a line of people waiting. Just be prepared to wait ten minutes for your coffee.

Visiting Denver from out of state and stopped here and enjoyed a nice hot breakfast burrito. My companions each enjoyed a cortado with their burritos. Nice local vibe and outside patio. I had a lemonade and blueberry scone. So all three items came in around $11. I saw water dishes out for dogs on the patio.

Nice job by current owners of establishing a good neighborhood vibe at a place that has struggled through various owners and iterations over the years. Expanded menu, not just coffee, but my guess is that it is finally doing well because the neighborhood is so gentrified. Sad to see the old Whittier landmarks becoming amenities for wealthy, largely white families moving into one of Denvers most important and historic Black neighborhoods. Hard to stop the forces of gentrification, and the WC does act and feel like a community gathering spot. Just one the fits best in a gentrified neighborhood.

Delicious mango strawberry smoothie with dates -lots of flavor and no artificial flavoring. Winter wonderland is the coffee drink and it is a cold brew with ice cream which was perfect on this hot day. The butter croissant was flaky and extremely buttery! The service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend stopping in this cafe for a quick bite and coffee.

Its a fantastic spot for a drink, breakfast, or sandwich while people-watching in a fantastic setting. Jerome, the barista, was extremely knowledgeable and lovely to converse with. It seems that I beat the rush yesterday showing up at 10am - but even as clients came in, the girls at the counter were friendly, chatty, and smiling. It was refreshing to have a personal conversation with the young lady who made my latte. Everyone in the cafe seemed to be in good spirits and friendly as well, as I witnessed a gentleman bring a girl her coffee “I knew it was yours because you were ahead of me in line”. It was very kind and I think that in part comes from the environment of the whole cafe! Will definitely be back!

The best coffee shop for a sense of community, especially if you are looking for a spot that is a little less white than other areas of Denver. AND it has amazing food and coffee.Ive been looking for a place to be just for the human interaction and a sense of not being a total bubble in this covid world, and this is my favorite place for it. The staff are always friendly and definitely contribute to the place feeling relaxed and friendly. And for the food, I finally ordered a panini today but have issues with both dairy and avocado (depressing, I know). I got the veggie panini and swapped the avocado for turkey. The staff was very mindful of what I couldnt eat, repeated my order back to be extra sure, and the panini was Delicious thanks to the well-grilled bread soaked in olive oil, seasoned arugula and pickles.Highly recommend.

This place has the best patio of any coffee shop I’ve been to! Their coffee is tasty and ethically sourced, their pastries looked great (I didn’t get a chance to try them but they had a good variety).
