Visited from NYC and this is some of the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Plus this place is CUTE AF. I wanted all their tshirts and mugs, and the barista was lovely and very kind. Don’t miss this place!

Happened upon Torpedo Coffee shop. The local coffee shop is owned by a guy who decided to leave a comfortable corporate job to pursue his dream of owning and running a coffee shop. It’s a fun, unique place with memorable yellow emoji-grin cups and good latte art.

2nd star is for convenient location with easy parking only. I’ve never thrown out both a coffee and a pastry before. I don’t think I’ve ever thrown away even one of those things. Cappuccino was watery and flavorless - like I literally had to take off the top and convince myself there was even coffee in it. Had 2 sips and right into the dumpster. Almond croissant was disgusting, but since they’re not baked in house I won’t hold that against them. Likely won’t be back.

FANTASTIC, friendly service. One of the cutest shops Ive been in on this vacation. I love all the artwork on the walls. I got a caramel vanilla latte and my friend got an Americano. I also got a vanilla scone. All were perfect 🤌🏼 Will definitely come back if Im in the area again. Oh! And got cute little mugs, patches, and stickers 😊

Had to come back and edit my review because 5 stars with no comment simply isn’t enough to portray the joy this place brings our family. Not only is the coffee (specifically lavender lattee) superior to anything else you’ll ever drink, but the staff is so kind to all that enter their establishment. Great location with lotsssss to do around, and a turf area for my son to run and play. Couldn’t ask for a better place for my morning coffee run. Also thank you for making my son a babyccino because it’s freaking adorable

Im just visiting some friends and decided to get some coffee. This coffee is better than anything I can get back home and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I got a traditional macchiato even though it wasnt on the board, and I love that kind of service and knowledge of traditional espresso drinks. The two people behind the counter who helped me were just so kind and even ground up a bag of fresh beans I had. Will be back before I go home!

Awesome addition to Park Hill. Tip of the hat to the owners for investing in the design of the brand, and hanging nice art on the walls rather than bad temporary paintings or photos. Its well done and takes itself just seriously enough that I dont feel like im sitting in a dive.

We live in Park Hill and were thrilled that Torpedo Coffee opened in our neighborhood. So nice to have a great place to walk to! The coffees and teas are great (and they have oat milk). But the food is delicious too. Its a really well-decorated, clever, cute place.The staff is great and nice (especially Kat). Were so glad its in the neighborhood and hope that it stays.

Torpedo is absolutely the best coffee shop in this area. They always have a great selection of roasts from top notch local roasters-- like Sweet Bloom and Corvus. The coffee is always brewed perfectly and served fresh, and their food is pretty darn tasty as well. Plus, during COVID theyve been running a great curbside operation so I can order a latte online and pick it up without leaving my car. Torpedo rocks.

My husband and I just discovered this place, and frankly I’m just upset that we didn’t find it sooner! Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing and super affordable, their drinks are fantastic (impressive tea selection too), and the owner, Kyle, is one of the nicest people you’ll meet. I keep wanting to try some of their delicious-looking pastries, too, but I can’t stop inhaling their breakfast sandwiches. Torpedo is not exactly in our neighborhood, but this is the kind of place you won’t mind going out of your way for. Thank you for being such a wonderful neighborhood business!!

Not a cookie cutter coffee shop. They have funky cool art on the walls and vintage comfy seats. They have great options for food for veggies (which I am). Amazing desserts and the staff are friendly, helpful and easy to be with. I meet clients here for meetings and sometimes just come here to work. I always find a parking spot.

Really great coffee! Food was reasonably priced and yummy. Nice covered patio. Great place in the neighborhood to ride your bike to. Owner went out of his way to meet my dietary needs.

I like supporting small businesses. It was nice to see them open and kind of busy. Noone allowed inside, though. They had a folding table with some pastries, menus and chocolates set up. It took some time to get my 16oz cold brew, but they get a total break due to having to figure out how to operate during a pandemic.

Yummy coffee, delicious gluten free biscuit breakfast sandwiches and they also have gluten free bakery items. Highly recommend!

Im always in search of good coffee shops to work from as I work remotely sometimes. Glad this spot opened up, and in my neighborhood too. I cant speak to the coffee as Im a tea drinker, but the atmosphere and the vibe are great - everything youd want from a coffee shop. Also bonus points for having an outlet at every table. That alone automatically gets you three stars. Youve got a life long customer.

Update: This sweet cafe has become a welcoming staple in my neighborhood. Its perfectly set up for studying and remote work. The drip is tasty and they have a variety of little snacks (bagels, quiche, bakery sweets) to munch on. Ive been back to ordering lattes and cappuccinos and am very pleased with their oat milk. The service is excellent and warm, their latte art game is getting to par, and I still consistently enjoy spending time here. They are my personal favorite of the cafes in Park Hill. I am stoked that theyre going to offer an affogato on the menu soon - summer cant get here soon enough!Previous (02/2019): This is a really cute cafe, good for studying or remote work with small work tables geared for that crowd. The drip is tasty and they have a variety of little snacks (bagels, quiche, bakery sweets) to munch on. The service is friendly, though my house has consistently found that if you order a small cup for here and a large cup for here back-to-back, theres a high chance they switch which drink was which size. I also hope they up their game on the non-dairy milk lattes, more often Ive found the nut milks have separated at my first sip (super sad), but Im holding out hope they get it right. Will continue coming back because the atmosphere is lovely and I consistently enjoy spending time here.

My favorite new Park Hill hangout. Lovely friendly staff, good coffee and pastry, lots of tables, warm space, pleasant and not-very-loud music. I just realized how important that last feature can be when I visited another cafe with loud, head-bangy music and had to leave soon after arriving.

Ordered lox and bagels, only to find out, no lox today. Changed to a burrito, which was fine, but wasnt refunded the difference in price. So paid $8 for a $5 burrito. Sure, could have said something, but I guess I expect the staff to know how much things cost. Will think twice before returning.

Good coffee and comfortable seating in a convenient neighborhood strip mall. The sun gets intense in there so bring some sunscreen (or tanning oil, whatever you’re into) in the afternoon.

I went to torpedoes today and I have been before and enjoyed it. However, today I went and I got almond milk in my coffee, there was an odd after taste which after several sips I realized that the almond milk in my coffee must have gone bad. I didn’t say anything because I was unsure at first but thinking back I realize that the milk was definitely not good.

Favorite coffee shop!! Large menu with a unique selection of drinks and food options. Their baked goods are always fresh and so amazing. Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they serve. Lots of cool art on the walls. Quiet enough to get work done but still appropriate for meetings. It’s near a school so they do get a rush of younger/louder folks in the afternoon but it’s not that bad. Don’t worry if you forget your headphones because they always have an awesome playlist going.

So excited to have a coffee shop to walk to in my neighborhood. Baristas are friendly and even handed me a dog biscuit with my order when they noticed my pup was waiting for me outside! It was a very nice touch. Cant wait to sit outside during the warmer months!
