Awesome find! I stopped by this morning and ordered a latte and the best ham/swiss croissant sandwich ever. It’s a smaller coffee shop that has about six tables and a bar to sit at. It’s lovely and everything looks clean and fresh. The employees were also super friendly, helpful, and warm! Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem coffee shop.
Just moved to the area and was looking for a new coffee place. This place is probably perfect for people that drink coffee daily. I only drink it once or twice a week. I got a mocha like I do everywhere else and it was by far the most powerful coffee drink Ive ever had to the point where my heart wouldnt stop racing and I was shaky all day. The mocha was more bitter than Im used to but better than being overly sweet. Wondering if they added more espresso than usual. Also, it wasnt a big deal but I ordered online and when I got there they hadnt checked the online orders so I had to wait for them to make it. They told me only a few people do online orders so they dont check them much and that in the future I could call. Was a tad dumbfounded by that response but still not a big deal just something to keep in mind if you prefer online ordering. I bring my dog with me on car rides and I would have had to leave if it was a hot day. I personally wont be back but I would definitely give this place a try because Im sure most people will love it.
If you’re looking for experienced and friendly roasters, go no further. They are always pushing forward to have the best espresso and coffee in Denver. With direct trade relationships and owners who really care about the process, their coffees are unique and treated with the utmost care. Excellent baristas on staff with great service. Really cool space too with their roasters right in the back, along with all of their green coffees. Don’t miss out on the best coffee in Denver.
Stumbled upon this coffee shop while running on Cherry Creek Trail when I felt like I needed a quick refuel. Its a little bit tucked away in an industrial block but in fact very close to the trail. Had a nice soy latte, and a quick chat with the barista. Definitely felt welcome. They also offer some coffee related classes so it seems a very cool place to check out for local coffee lovers.
BEST COFFEE IN DENVER. My husband and I drive from Highlands Ranch a couple times a week. My absolute favorite is their Hazelnut latte, nothing beats that homemade syrup. My husband usually goes for a cold brew or their Mocha latte. Everyone there is very knowledgable and so welcoming. Awesome hidden little gem.
I like this place and come for the nitros all the time. Quiet, hidden gem. Giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because last time I came in the barista gave me a plain cold brew. When I asked if it was a nitro she said yes but it absolutely wasnt. Smaller size, ice, bitter, no nitro. Heres a photo. Pretty disappointed the barista didnt know their coffee.
I got a drip coffee to go. The coffee had just been brewed so it was hot and fresh. I like that they offer a bottomless option for drip in the event you want to hang around and get some work done.
A very happy accident brought me into this coffee shop a few months ago. I have been so impressed with the quality of coffee, array of brewing methods and good welcoming energy and conversation by the staff. Kevin is a phenomenal barista and loves chatting all things coffee and music. Kenneth the owner is a genuine human with a true passion and love for all things coffee. I am now a regular of this place even though there are many other coffee shops on my commute to MORU.
Hidden little gem of a coffee shop. In the middle of an industrial area nestled in a multi-business site. The batista was super nice and answered all my questions about their products and where they are sourced. The coffee menu is a bit limited but for good reason. Its geared to the delicate and delicious flavor of their amazing coffee! I have the Guatemalan coffee. I highly recommend this place to any true coffee lover !
A little bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip! Kenneth, the owner, took very good care of us, and so did the coffee! A cozy but airy shop with a large roasting space in the back. They rent their roasters and roaster space, which is so so cool. I had a batch brew, a cappuccino, and a pour-over, along with a chocolate croissant. My buddy had a different batch brew and a cortado. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend.
Epic coffee and lots of amazing whole beans to choose from (Including a nice selection of medium roasts 🤩).
I hate that I stopped here to try them out because their coffee was absolutely amazing. Now I have to drive past them every day on my way to work with the temptation of stopping because I now know how damn good they are. Try them out only if you’re prepared to find your favorite coffee shop!! 100/10 definitely recommend.
My 1st visit today and what a great surprise. Excellent coffee and beautiful pastries. I will definitely be back!
Best Iced, Green Tea that I have ever had EVER had in my entire life (I’m a senior citizen)! With Recyclable straws - this is my new go to when in the area!#GreenNewDeal
Perfectly executed drinks, friendly, knowledgeable staff and always fresh, delicious, balanced coffee. They are a roaster so this is a passion for them and locally owned. Priced below most coffee shops you will be glad you found them!
Wonderful vibe, and they serve the cortado with sparkling water. 💗
One of the best new coffee shops in Denver — really good coffee! Their menu is full of different options and if you enjoy cold brews, they have ~3 options at a given time (2 nitros, 1 flat — varying flavors). If you enjoy your coffee hot, that’s equally as good!-Coffee has great flavor-Many options, different coffee drinks-Staff is always friendly :)Thank you!
Great coffee, great staff, great food too
A little out of the way, but excellent coffee & pastries.
They have great iced coffee!!
Great coffee and lovely staff!Pastry items are delicious, nice selection of drinks and milk alternatives. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Extremely rude staff. Entitled employees who treat customers like dirt. Coffee smells and tastes like the homeless camp outside their front door. Bad location, even worse employees. Good luck staying in business lol.
Coffee was fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Superb chai at a superb price. They seem genuinely passionate about coffee.
Absolutely some of the best coffee Ive had & the kindest people. My roommate and I are making this a weekly stop when dropping off our recycling! The baked goods also are super delicious!
Fantastic specialty coffee with great service. Drip, pour overs, and espresso drinks available. The El Salvador coffee I had this morning was so good, Ill be back soon to buy beans!
Friendly, delish coffee on just off the bike path.
I usually need to add sugar or a sugary cream to most coffees, but I don’t need to here! This is a great place with some super knowledgeable people. The coffee is amazing, I guarantee you’ll find something you like. Nice atmosphere, it’s clean, and super cool to walk around and check out what they have going on there. Definitely my go-to place in the morning. More and more of my co-workers keep asking me to bring them coffee now, and that’s ok, because they also have a great rewards program :).
Great little shop. Excellent coffee, awesome people.
Moru is our go-to coffee. We go through a bag a week of the Yankee. What a delicious, complex, dark roast. I wouldnt consider myself a coffee person, but I often find myself going back for a second cup. Not to mention, the staff are kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. 5 stars!
Its good Ill be back I had to try looking forward to some coffee
Really great coffee. At many places I have to add sugar to make the coffee taste bearable. With Moru, I like it as is. The co-owners are also really friendly and knowledgeable.
The drip coffee I ordered was some of the best roasted coffee I have ever had. The espresso was also stellar in my brothers latte. Great atmosphere, friendly barista and owner who showed us around the roaster and told us all about the sources of their beans. Great locally owned place definitely check them out.
Amazing coffee and really great customer service. This place is a hidden gem.
I like trying out new local cafes when I order via services like Postmates — it’s fun & usually turns out to be an amazing experience. Unfortunately Postmates failed to list how tiny the drinks are — coming in at what appears to be a whopping 6oz which makes me feel incredibly ripped off. I paid way to good of money for two sips of coffee during hard financial times.I don’t like leaving negative reviews — or feeling at all entitled to certain sizes — but for $4.50 I expected at least 12oz of coffee.I was trying to surprise my fiancé with this since he had a hard day at work, but he seems to be on the same page as me as far as “what the heck?” goes. The only reason this review has as many stars as it does is that the coffee tastes like the beans are perfectly extracted. Not sour not bitter. But seriously. I wouldn’t order again unless they eventually have larger sizes. This is a kid’s size drink.EDIT: After finishing the coffee I realized it really does pack a punch. It was indeed super delicious & the caffeine got me through a stressful work day — so I’m changing the review from 2 stars to 4. I do wish the size of the coffee was displayed on Postmates though.
Good coffee
Great place to learn how to roast beans and get some of Denvers finest coffee. Super knowledge staff and owners.
Stumbled upon this coffee shop while on vacation. Best cappuccino I have ever had. Great convo with co-owner as well. I highly recommend this coffee and this coffee shop.
Morus coffee bar provides our community with a locally-owned and operated gathering place for people of all walks, runs, bikes, and drives of life. Their lab offers a perfect learning space for roasters, enthusiasts, or the average person who just wants to learn a bit more about coffee. The Moru Roaster Share program also offers local groups the opportunity to create their own custom blends and exhibit them in the front-of-house. Thank you for being a great addition to our neighborhood!
Great coffee!
Great coffee place! Apparently, they do classes and education!
Kenneth is amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of coffee from bean selection to roasting, grinding and brewing.
Im giving this place one star even without visiting it. I was riding my motorcycle down I-25 and saw the driver of a silver car with a giant rear sticker promoting this business. The thing is the driver couldnt put his phone down for 1 second to pay attention to the road and cut me off to the point that I locked my rear brake up on the highway trying to avoid a collision. The person wasnt even aware that this happened because they were texting the entire time. I feel they deserve 1 star because they have drivers out there on the road not paying attention to anyones safety and think that a text is more important than other peoples lives
Great coffee, friendly owners, and a great place to work with lots of outlets and fast WiFi!
Great coffee, great service.
Great atmosphere, great coffee, what more could you ask for!
I had coffee at a local brunch place and loved the coffee and they shared it was yours! I drink it black and the best Ive ever had!
How what an awesome coffee.
Great little coffee bar
