Before the pandemic, I had an enjoyable experience at Port Side. When I had gone in, though Port Side had limited seating on the inside, the outside boasted a larger seating area. The service was friendly and helpful. And I remember enjoying the latte art.I wanted to go back. Denver’s being careful, given that COVID-19 is still spreading. Port Side is still not open for seating but they are open for curbside pick up.Port Side is on Larimer Street, in Denver, not far from Denver Central Market, which houses a number of vendors.

Big fan of the breakfast food options! Whether you’re looking for a something sweet or savory, they have you covered. Check out the cinnamon rolls on weekends. And I like The Plain Jane egg sandwich (with spicy mayo and hot sauce - so, not so plain!).

My very favorite place in Denver to get both delicious food and coffee. I’m never disappointed, and always pleasantly surprised. Their food taste like very high-quality, and the flavors always go great together. Also by far the best chocolate chip cookie and all of Denver.

The breakfast sandwiches are unreal here. The buns are soft and flavorful and the ingredients are very fresh. Not a long wait at all. Service was excellent!

Went there for the first time today with my work office. The place was a little busy but there was absolutely no wait. We ordered our food. It came super quick! They have coffee that is to die for. They make their coffee syrups in house! The place is very clean! There is a unisex bathroom. All around a fantastic place for a quick bite! Their patio is as big as their inside. So when its warm I bet its nice to be out there! Highly recommend this place!

Avocado Toast never disappoints. Heavy stack of radish topped with togarashi blankets a thick smattering of avocado underneath. The crispy crust of the toast adds a great texture, just be careful chewing unless you like shredded gums.

Owned by Huckleberry Coffee Roasters. Knowledgeable and trained baristas make top knotch cappuccinos and breakfast sandwiches. Both espressos, single origin and blend beans work well with and without milk. The shipping container made building give this place a must visit for an interesting ambiance.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!The Good: Interesting and great location. Interesting because the cafe is within a structure assembled from cargo containers (awesome!). Is a hip area...Food (Brown Rice Bowl $10) + expresso ($3+) was good.The Bad: I would say somewhat pricey. Would not return for food. Maybe for coffee once in a while for the vibe.The Ugly: Visited on a Tuesday at 4pm. Could see parking being an issue on peak times, but I could be wrong.Good luck and enjoy!

Great service, great coffee, delish food. Had then opportunity to chat a but with then business owner, him and his wife (also business owner) seem to really care about the employees. Such a rare trait these days.

Lattes and breakfast sandwiches are both above average. Service is really friendly, too, and they have outdoor heaters while indoor seating is closed!

This place is awesome. The avocado toast from chef Chris Bells menu is is down right amazing. In addition the coffee is like black tar heroine, it would jump start a tractor and is so caffeinated you might feel the sudden need to run a marathon or deep clean the kitchen.

Cool coffee shop with good vibes and an outdoor patio where you can hang with your four-legged friend. Coffee is strong and their blueberry scones are nice and moist. Definitely a go-to coffee joint on Larimer aside from Crema.

We stopped in a couple weeks ago for breakfast sandwiches. I had the Plain Jane and my friend at the UT - we both agreed they were some of the best breakfast sandwiches weve ever had.Theyve got six or eight tables inside, and maybe five outside, so arrive off peak hours to have your pick. Also had a large carafe of self-service ice water, which I appreciated on a hot day.My friend and I like to try new places, and there are so many in Denver we rarely make second visits to a restaurant - not unless its really outstanding. Well be making a second visit here.

This is a wonderful place. I go here a couple times a week because its near my office. Their coffee is top notch. If you dont do dairy definitely get their house almond milk with your drink -- Its delicious.As far as food goes, all of the baked goods are great. The blueberry muffins, currant scone and banana bread are standouts. I am not even usually a banana bread fan, but theirs has a crispy, almost crystallized exterior thats sweet and addicting.Havent tried a lot of their food, but their brown rice bowl is a tasty, tangy-spicy concoction.Oh, and the people are nice. They remember me & a few have tried to get to know me, even.Only negative is that their prices are a little steep. You may pay $9 for a latte and baked good. But the quality is there, so I cant really complain.

Great neighborhood coffee shop serving super tasty coffee. They sell great roasts to go, but my favorite is their cappuccino. Good place for a bite if you are hungry too. Friendly staff and great music. Check this place out!

Visited walking down the street, got the pumpkin spice latte and The Duke. Both were super.The Duke is made of entirely choice ingredients. Every bite, from the beginning to the end, was a perfect symphony of a breakfast. I highly recommend this one.Ask them about where they source their ingredients!

Great little spot that has breakfast sandwiches & pastries. Have always enjoyed the food. The coffee is from a local roaster, Huckleberry & is delicious. Can be noisy inside when busy & the music is a little more than background music. In the warmer weather I prefer the outside patio.

Amazing breakfast. Try something a little odd and you will be surprised and delighted. The Oatmeal is spectacular and the Grits are great. The coffee is good, typical limited coffee options: drip, simple lattes (vanilla or mocha), and Chai. Nearly empty before 9 am. This place should be in top ten list for breakfast in Denver.

Love the outoor deck and I had the sweet potato chickpea soup which was surprisingly filling and delicious!

I had a cappuccino here and it was really good. The server was prompt and nice. I also really like the fact that their default milk is whole milk and not 2%. The only thing that gets me is that they are priced a little bit on the higher side for good coffee...maybe its just because its Denver.

Coming from the greater CO area, finding a good Bacon Egg Cheese sandwich in SF proved to be a greater challenge than expected. Port Side has the goods. Very friendly staff who addressed me by name after I gave it for my order. Will def be stopping back here.

Friendly staff and excellent coffee. I did not try the food. There is a large outdoor patio with plenty of seating. There is one clean unisex bathroom. Also, a complementary water station. WiFi is available here. Just ask for the password.

Definitely one of the best coffee shops in Denver. Great service and vibe. Coffee is amazing, and the oatmeal is one of the best breakfast items I’ve had in a long time. Terrace is nice in the warmer months, and it’s in a great neighborhood with other lunch/dinner option within a short walk.

Espresso was good. The chai latte had far too much ginger for my liking.Cool space with art on the wall, but the music was too loud for me to focus -- although you can definitely have a conversation.

Had the Buffalo Sausage with Kimchi and it was phenomenal. No coffee, just water but the Wife had a Bloody Mary that was very good. Nice sized patio with seating for around 20 people. Will come again.

Awesome coffee from Huckleberry that’s perfectly excecuted every time I come. Hella filling/delicious breakfast options. I love to sit outside and enjoy the Larimer happenings. The service is awesome and I’m constantly being met with compassion and good conversation, even when I spill drinks and break cups in the same sitting. Keep it up, guys :)

We googled “best breakfast in Denver”, Port Side showed up in the results. And they were right! LOVED The Duke breakfast sandwich!!

I still drive out of my way to buy their fresh scones and muffins some mornings. My husband obsesses over their oatmeal and parfaits. Coffee/lattes are wonderful but I order any drinks with milk extra hot otherwise they seem to be lukewarm.

Employees were nice, store was clean. Wish they had sugar-free options, even if just Stevia packets.

Ex-Huckleberry shop that still knows how to serve up a mean espresso/cappuccino. Their drip coffee is also better quality than most places around and priced below market imho. Pastry game is not that great, and Ive not eaten proper lunch there yet.

It’s like 95 degrees outside, and their Mitsubishi cooler is truly struggling to keep up with the heat. But it’s reasonably comfortable-ish. The cortado I had was really good.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. Coffee is great and service is as well. Also its right next to cart + driver wich is awesome.

Underwhelming staff. First time there and he was unable to make a simple suggestion on coffee options. I think he was working hard just trying to breath and stand at the same time. I can only assume they put their weaker staff behind the counter on weekend afternoons and save the pros for the mornings. The drip coffee had a gross after taste. Makes me wonder how old the coffee was that I was served. And for $3 dollars?! I think Ill pass...

I give two stars because I know they roast good coffee, which I got brewed at Crema. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to order coffee from the source because the 2 staff members behind the counter couldnt be bothered to break themselves away from a conversation with friends who happened to be in the shop.
