I come here every Friday and sit at the bar to get some work done for a change of scenery from my work from home situation. I absolutely love it here - the coffee, donuts (which can be alcohol infused), and breakfast burritos are AMAZING! Everyone who works here is incredibly attentive, and I especially appreciate Becca, the bartender who always keeps it real. Overall, great ambience, and remote worker friendly atmosphere.

Lucas and the other server (I did not get her name unfortunately). Are two of the best servers you could ask for . They really made me and my wife feel like family even though we were complete strangers. Their above and beyond service along with the amazing food made this an unforgettable experience. If we ever return to denver this will be the first place I visit.

Great cafe/bar, and IMO the doughnuts and coffee are the best part. Unique and tasty doughnuts. Very friendly staff, cool decor. When ordering for pickup make sure you check your order before leaving (if you add doughnuts to a food order they have to add it in the bag separately and can possibly forget).
The food and menu were Wu Tang themed. The food itself was simple and delicious. The service was good. They are super dog friendly. It rained and they allowed patrons with dogs to come inside the restaurant.
Just happen to stop in for a minute, couldnt refuse to try a pickle/pepperoncini shot and they were quite tasty! Stayed a bit and had a great time with the bar staff with Becca and Lucas! Will definitely stop by again! :)

Great place to grab coffee with co-worker or breakfast with a friend. I was a first-time Carbon Cafe goer but felt like Id been there before with the plenty of spacious seating and great music.
Carbon donuts! Yessss. Just look how pretty that latte is. Divine. Not too busy, in my opinion. Decent sized space. Open late and a good option if you want to do a bit of work. I recommend the plain Jane donut. Most of the regular food is pretty good too.
I loved this coffee bar! It has a beautiful interior, great drinks, and you can also get donuts from the shop next door. Perfect place to chill or to work from. To top it all off, its also dog friendly!
Went over to carbon for a quick bite to eat, met Becca, who was super friendly and jovial, gave us a solid recommendation on the wings and had an awesome chit chatting.
I absolutely LOVE this place. Becca has been so fun to visit every Mon or Tuesday for the last few weeks. I can crush her old fashioneds and she cracks me up. Never a dull moment and yet Im able to get lots of work done while hanging at the bar or a table. Great neighborhood spot! Oh and also the tots are a spiritual experience.
Becca mixed me a pickle and pepperocini shot, i love pickle shots and this is one of the best ive had ever! Becca was so nice and the atmosphere is nice, plenty of room for distancing, great place!
This place is a joke and is wasting real estate that a deserving restauranteur should have. We entered and were never greeted, despite there being a host stand. Instead patrons at the bar gave us instructions to sit wherever.We chose a spot, and no one cared to acknowledge us. Correction, a server bussing tables near us decided to say hi, which I’m guessing happened because I was awkwardly staring her down.A table of five entered shortly after us and were served waters and greeted, yet we’d seen no intention of getting service.Nothing about this place is appealing. Service is bad, the entire bar needed to be cleaned up. I would comment on the food, but we walked out before getting a chance to order.Why do patrons in Denver continue to give places like this business? We allow the mediocrity to continue.

Kelsey is a little piece of heaven! We visited this week while in Denver and her recommendations were spot on! The atmosphere was fun, the service was excellent and the food was bragged about our entire trip. The insanity grilled cheese didn’t disappoint. The sloppy Jane brought back my childhood favorite sloppy Joe only in vegetarian version which overwhelmed my heart and taste buds. Our drinks were excellent too! Definitely recommend the Flor de Rosa (it was beautiful) and the Cacao Coffee, which was the most luscious creamy sip ever.Don’t leave without getting donuts from Habit. Try the Plain Jane (it was everything but), get the Feed my Habit too. The sweet, tart, crunchy treat will not let you down. Y’all are doing something right! We’ll be back for you! ❤️
This place is simply AMAZING. I live wayyyy north of Denver and I know the next time I come back down to Denver I am eating HERE!! The chicken and waffles were heavenly. The loaded tots were out of this world!! We even tried the 1) matcha green tea & lemon and 2) cinnamon powdered donuts. All amazing. The flavor in each item is simply on point 👌 The chicken and waffles were gluten-free (they just came this way! I didnt have to ask them to make it that way 😌). And the service is stellar. Lukas took care of us like we were family. Im definitely bringing all of my out of towner visitors here for a delicious experience. The ambiance and culture inside this restaurant is also super comfortable and artsy. Loved everything.

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years and LOVE IT!!! Get the brussels, chicken and waffles, and loaded tots, you won’t regret it! Ask for Becca. She is awesome, attentive and super fun. One of my go-to’s in Denver for work (great WiFi) and drinks/food. :)

Well chips were way too expensive. Ordered a meal and they brought me the wrong one. It took 15 minutes to get the menu. So it took 30 minutes to get the food the wrong food. Honestly wont refer this to no one sorrytherefore it took like 20 minutes to get ordered cuz we had to look at the menu
The LoHi location is wonderful. Great vibe. Great staff. Great fare. I routinely am there purchasing and enjoying plate after plate of donuts. It’s heaven. Might be me and I’m wrong a lot but this location isn’t the same. The couple of times I’ve been in I’ve been ignored or treated with a casual disregard at best. Perhaps it’s a one or two off thing. But I’m sticking with the LoHi location.

We were really hoping this would be our neighborhood spot but after two years of living here we are constantly let down. The last three times we have gone in after 7:00 pm they are have prematurely closed the kitchen when the restaurant and bar is completely full. The bartender had been unkind and acts irritated to have patrons. Not inviting, not reliable. Total bummer.
Food is extremely mediocre and over priced. Spent $70 on takeout for two Mac n cheese, a burger and chai. Mac and cheese was very bland and the burger came with 3 tots. However, service is not bad and the music, drinks and vibe are on point.
Awesome place for a meal, drinks or both. Always trying something new on the menu, never disappointed. Go back every time Im in Denver.
Just had a terrible experience. Ordered chicken and waffles for pick up. Walked back to hotel. Ate half waffle, while my gf ate the chicken. She noticed they were GREEN inside. Completely spotted green all over. It was dark, I thought they were blueberries or fruit! I kept eating it until she shined her flash light on it and yup green mold. I wish I had taken a picture. I called, asked if the waffles were supposed to have anything inside and said no. So had to walk all the way back to give them my proof ... they had a new half waffle ready for me. No offer for anything different, I had to ASK for a refund which honestly should have been offered to me. The manager tried to show me the batter to show it did not have mold. Im sure they made that on my way there. He said it must be herbs .. Herbs have taste. He had no answer when I asked how could a cook not see that as they were pouring and serving AND how would they get that much herbs in the batter or waffle maker. I just hope I dont get sick.

Ordering the smashed tot hash turned out to be 4 golden potatoes, 1oz of pulled pork and two undercooked sunny side up eggs for $14 was an extreme disappointment. There isn’t anything else to say except to avoid this place...

Man, I am a slower buyer and because of what I first ordered I was straight up ignored. The cinnamon tea and the blazed donut was yummy to begin with, but then the lack of attention didnt make me want to continue ordering little items to snack on. There is a lack of 6 ft of distancing inside, I even overhead staff say that people shouldnt be sitting in certain areas then still proceeded to sit them in those spots. I asked for more hot water in hopes that would be given to prompt me to order more food, instead none arrived. When I wanted to pay to leave, my waitress was unavailable and the one person who was available looked me in the eyes and hid behind the bar. No one needed his attention, but he chose to not help.Yea, Ill pass on this place.

I went to Carbon with my friend today and we both had a Chicken & Kale salad. The salad was really good and their service is equally good. I will be back soon. I’ve been here before but it’s usually for the Chai tea that’s very tasty.
I have never been to a place where they offer dope donuts. They have freshly baked donuts, different kinds, different flavors, and you can add a infused upgrade. I have never seen or heard of such a thing but we do live in Colorado, never expect the unexpected...I love how it’s decorated, great vibe, atmosphere is fun. I was very excited to see that they had many lagers on the menu but then I was disappointed to see that the laggers were in cans.The people that work there are super fun, and I had a couple giggles with them. I WOULD go back and possibly try one of their donuts.

This place was so good! Reasonable pricing for the amount of food we got. I got the chicken and waffles. Their waffle machine was broken. They substituted with French toast and it was amazing. I loved it. Definitely should keep that one the menu!

I met a friend for coffee with all of the new rules in place and I felt safe dining in. Great staff and my favorite coffee shop in Denver.
The atmosphere and ambience is really cute. The service, however, was awful. Our server, Bradley, was beyond rude to my friends and I. He made us feel so unwelcome. Not only was he rude, he was terrible at his job. We came in for drinks and a bit to eat, and after we ordered one round of drinks he took every single menu off the table. He only came back around once, about 45 minutes later to see if we wanted anything. My friend asked for another beer, which he completely ignored and never brought us. Please note it was empty inside at the time. I would recommend going anywhere else if you are looking for someone fun to go with friends.

First visit today for lunch with group of 6. All of us were delighted and exceeded expectations. Fun, diverse menu, good prices, tasty food and cool vibe... I will go back.

Didnt like the food
Went in for a drink. Sat down and waitress took our order. It took 20 minutes for her to come back with no drinks and tell us they were out of two of our drink orders. We ended up leaving. The place was about a quarter full ... Not busy at all. Bad service.

We were staying near by on our brief stop in denver, we visited this place on the first day and were blown away by the exceptional donuts, we visited EVERY day after. If I were ever asked to replicate the manna of heaven I would fly to denver, kick open the door of Carbon Cafe and raid their donut stand.........

Extremely poor service at this and Lo-hi location.Wait times for being greeted at your table, receiving food, AND getting the check are excessive.This review is after several visits to this and the other location.Waited 10 minutes without a server visiting the table before we left today. Yikes.
