A must when in town or when in NY. A great experience and even better drinks! The wait was pretty long but definitely worth it. We came on a Friday night around 9 and the wait was 2hrs, so maybe check in before dinner to kill time.

What can I say. We had a standing reservation each evening during our Ramble stay. The Bum Leg was our favorite upon exploring the current menu. Bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to make tasty riffs on favorite classic cocktails. Run.

Went here for cocktails. Downstairs: high class ambiance and some of the best mixed drinks we found in Denver. Upstairs: high casual with a fun atmosphere and rooftop views of the city. Either way, it makes for a great hang out spot.

Wow, wow, wow! What an experience! Death and Co delivered on all accounts! The service was incredible. The food, so tasty. The drinks, well, the drinks are whats going to keep you coming back. We were served by Autumn and she was lovely! So helpful and so sweet! For food, we order the croquettes and we both got the D&C Burger and we finished with their special cookies. Let me tell you what, that burger is fantastic! So much flavor! For drinks, I started with a classic Old Fashioned, my wife got the Fortunella, and then I finished with the Outrigger. The Old Fashioned was without a doubt, the best Old Fashioned Ive ever had. The Fortunella was unique and so dynamic in flavor. The Outrigger is a riff off an Old Fashioned and was quite lovely! This is definitely an experience I will remember and anytime in town I will definitely swing by.

This is world class for cocktails. Its an offshoot of a famous NYC bar. Dont think of it as a franchise though. There is real artistry here. Each location has their own menu created by the people working behind the bar.

Classy spot with smooth (but expensive)drinks. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Denver. However, the water tower cocktail is not worth the price.

Had some of the best food I’ve ever tried. I was wowed by the explosion of flavor! We especially enjoyed the bison tartar and the trout. The drinks were excellent. The atmosphere was very cool too.

The drinks are absolutely fabulous, and bartenders are incredibly talented. I havent had the best experience with the wait staff, but ultimately would recommend despite that.

Im not a huge cocktail connoisseur so I ordered from the front of the menu (less spirit forward). The drink I got was too strong for me, so when I ordered another I mentioned this to the bartender and he made me one of the best cocktails Ive had! It was absinth and gin which are NOT something I would order, with a cucumber/lime taste which is my exact flavor preference (he didnt ask me about this before making it!). Very impressed with the service and the bartenders working as a team to check on us and all the customers. Definitely recommend going in--the ambiance is impressive!

Super classy, nice place. Lots of craft cocktails to choose from and the atmosphere is A+! Great place for a date or a nightcap. They do offer some gluten free options but nothing fried is celiac safe as they sue the same deep fryer. Definitely returning here!

By far the best bar in Denver. Id go as far as saying top 3 bars Ive ever been to (out of 24 countries visited and 100s of bars). These guys make the best drinks and the food is great. Im getting married here in September 2021 because I love this place so much. The mid-century modern interior decor with the dark & edgy accessories make this place a must visit if youre ever in Denver (LA & NY too). Do not pass this place up, and get an old fashioned!

The cocktail list here is phenomenal - the bartenders clearly put a lot of love into their craft. Staff is very knowledgeable of everything on the menu and the atmosphere is a great combination of upbeat and intimate.

Death& Co is one of my favorite places to go for brunch or a date night cocktail. Their flavors are well paired and delightful. I visit several rivers a month.

Today I had the pleasure of trying an Amazing burger. Hands down best burger in Denver. Full of flavor, so juicy. The staff are such great people. I cant wait to actually go in to the establishment and see what else awaits.

I have read the death and co. Books and got a chance to enjoy their cocktails. They really lived up to the hype! These guys set the standard for craft cocktails and their food was outstanding. Very comfortable and inviting furniture and a clean gorgeous space. Check this place out.

This was truly a lovely experience, very chill spot. I went for breakfast and it was amazing. Great Irish coffee, and the bacon sandwich was so delicious. I would go back next time Im in town.

FANTASTIC! Their Covid19 protocols made me feel super safe, their cocktails are incredible, and the food was prepared to perfection. Of note, their exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive, friendly, informative, and so helpful. I cant wait to go back again!

Like the original this place has top-notch cocktails. At this point all seating is outside, with walk up window service and tableside delivery and clearance. The drinks are still phenomenal, however it is unfortunate that you were not able to get the ambience of the inside bar as it is gorgeously decorated. Try to get a table in the sun as it will keep you warm on a chilly fall afternoon. Everyone on the staff has done a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable and welcomed during these trying times.

Had a fun little outside patio where you could get canned cocktails while waiting for your table. Inside has a great ambiance and the drink were delicious!

Breakfast was outrageously good - no wait, not crowded completely made from scratch food.The bacon sandwich was astounding for how simple it was, and the drinks are exactly what youd expect from a place that is so thoughtfully designed and curated.

Excellent drinks and great atmosphere! My one critique would be that I wish the food menu was a little larger, especially for small/shareable plates. But if youre going for drinks, I highly recommend!

Boston floor was packed, the bouncer told us the upstairs patio wasn’t packed. We went up and it was beautiful. Very nice on a sunny day. We managed to get some seating but it wasn’t too much seating. I got this gin drink and it was very good! All the drinks we got were really good. Slow service though as there was only one bartender.

Love this place for a really good cocktail. Make sure you have some money to spend as the cocktails can get pricey! All well worth it though!

Place has nice decor but that’s where it stops. Drinks are overrated and overly expensive for the quality. Another trendy photo worthy bar with subpar drinks. There is plenty of outstanding bars nearby to drink and toast at.

I just went to this restaurant tonight and was highly disappointed. I’ve been here before expecting an upscale experience as I have before. So incredibly disappointing with a very limited and not so special expensive food appetizer menu as well as the wine selection just okay for the price point. I was looking forward to revisiting…oh well- not again-

First, do yourself a favor and sit at the bar. Second, keep your eye out for Mitchell: Hes exceptional at his craft, passionate and knowledgeable. Third, just sit back and let him take care of you. He wont disappoint.

One of the best brunches I have ever had. Has the best atmosphere ever. Charming, relaxing, but nice and sophisticated. And the food! Just look at my pictures, they don’t even do it justice. And they always have a great cocktail selection!

Came to Denver just to check this place out, as a huge fan of the NYC location. It did not disappoint.From the amazing decor, to the fantastic bartenders and bar backs, I had an amazing time at D&C, DC/AM, and The Ramble. Service was next level, especially considering it is a high volume cocktail bar with very specialized drinks. Breakfast was awesome, coffee was spectacular, and the drinks were out of this world good.Highly recommend the “Foxtrot” for a great nightcap.

Always an amazing time here. Mitchell was a fantastic bartender that was very informative, friendly, and clearly great at his craft. Enjoyed the croquettes very much so and will definitely come back for more.

While strolling down the fairways of Tino, I came across Death and Co. A curious notion crossed my mind. Is this a establishment that could quench my undying thirst? It turned out the answer was yes, MY THIRST WAS EXECUTED! Drink was pretty good and the lobby is neat. 10/10 would death in this company.

Atmosphere, staff and drinks were exceptional. Food was down right disgusting. I now know why everyone only had drinks. My friends noodles were so soggy as if they had been sitting in water for hours. The rest of my party had a burger and fries. You would think that is simple but no......the caramelized onions were mushy, burger tasted revolting. I tried to give the fries a chance but only the small ones tasted good. The larger fries were mushy. Our waitress did credit us for the food but it was so disappointing 😞 We ended up at the taco truck which was delicious. So my advice only order drinks 😉

Great name and ambiance but overpriced and below average food. Lamb ribs were chewy and a battle to get off the bone. The burger was sloppy and not cooked well.

An offshoot or expansion of the famous cocktail bar/speakeasy in New York, the ambience in the hotel lobby did not disappoint and neither did the drinks. The summer seasonal menu was delicious. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and recommended great drinks. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the kitchen took forever to bring out the burger I ordered. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen, or maybe they forgot to put in my order... but a 40 min wait between when I placed my order and when the burger came out was a bit disappointing. I was close to telling them to cancel my order. And it didn’t seem like a busy night. But it sure was a delicious burger.Parking around the area is not easy to find. Eventually found street parking in front of a nearby school several blocks away.

For non drinkers, the mocktails here are worth trying. It wont be fancy juice or whatever you get at other places. Itll actually be a good drink that closely matches what one wants from a cocktail without alcohol.They also have some off the menu mocktails, so ask your server about your options.The staff know their stuff.

Excellent cocktail bar. You can order pretty much anything from the bar and expect an amazing beverage. At one point I asked for a cocktail in any style with lemon juice and absinth and was pleasantly surprised with the cocktail they made me.

A New York icon visits Denver, and its incredible. Perfectly crafted cocktails alongside bites that enhance the experience. A must visit.

I think I got food poisoning at a catered event. Also, some of the staff was kind of surly.

Waited about 40 minutes to get in tonight (Saturday night) but it was worth it. The Fantastic Planet drink was SO DELICIOUS and I tasted the notes of lime, pineapple, and kiwi along with the rum and tequila. The drink was well mixed and perfectly poured-the perfect amount of alcohol where the drink was not watered down, but not so strong that the flavors were lost. I also had a sip of the Camouflage drink, which features cognac, orange bitters, lemon, and Amontillado Sherry, which worked very well together! The ambience was great, our male waiter was extremely attentive and prompt, and I would definitely come back!

We were quoted a 30 minute wait. We left after 90 minutes with no real answer about how much longer the wait would be. Im not sure if they just wanted us to stick around and spend money on drinks outside while we waited, or if there is just a complete lack of communication among staff, but either way thats unacceptably poor management. We hope to try the real experience sometime, but its hard to gamble a Saturday night on an experience like this one.On the bright side, great drinks. The staff working outside were super friendly.

Great bar/lounge. Come early to get on the waitlist and hang around the area until you get called. Its definitely worth the wait.

I love this place. I’ve been a huge fan of D&C for the past few years, but never got to visit until yesterday. As someone who follows there work through social media and has read their two amazing books on cocktails-I knew the drinks would be amazing! What really blew us away was the amazing service and willingness to accommodate to a couple requests I had to propose to my girlfriend (100% would recommend doing that btw!). It was fun celebrating such an important moment with the Death & Co team in Denver.

The drinks are phenomenal. Service was great. Awesome atmosphere. We wish we would of gotten food here. We will definitely be back.

The ambiance and decor are really nice- the longer you look the more job find cool/funny stuff. Staff is super nice. The drinks are pretty good too- they had asked the bartender to give us whatever drinks he thought were good and it was fun to not know what you were getting. I met my girlfriend and her friend here to hang out and have a good time. For food, we ordered the popcorn shrimp and fries, chili fries, and Buffalo shrimp quesadilla wrap

Lots of drinks to choose from and they rate their drinks on how strong they are. Wonderful atmosphere in a fancy hotel lobby. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable so ask questions and learn while you drink.

We came in intending to have multiple drinks and food... but ordered one drink and were there for an hour. Condescending terrible bartender that didnt even make the drinks at the bar. Wont be coming back, and will be cautioning people from coming here and wasting money.

The atmosphere is different than anything I’ve ever really experienced at a bar. It was very dark and elegant inside. My cocktail, the gramophone, was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The combination of gin with chamomile and honey was so unique and perfectly balanced. They’re entire menu is very distinctive and combines flavors I haven’t seen anywhere else. Only downside I found was the portions were quite small for the price.

Right from the front staff by the door to the amazingly sweet manager inside, the service is top notch !This place was an absolute Denver bucket list for me and I had walked in without any prior reservations . The wait staff by the door was so kind enough to let us go in instead of just turning us away despite of having so many people still waiting on the list.I had forgotten my ID so I couldn’t sample any of their cocktails but the manager was so kind enough to offer me a special mocktail on the house !The interiors are beautiful and I cannot wait to be back again, with my ID Ofcourse ;)

Wanted to love it, but we waited 25 minutes for our first round of drinks and decided it wasn’t worth it to wait for dinner with that kind of service. Will give them another shot when they have more than one bartender working.
