The outside area looks great. Upon walking inside, however, the layout somewhat resembles a fortress with cleverly placed chairs and tables to create a barricade around the staff. Huge plastic partitions surround the register that makes the experience of ordering seem similar to that of placing a bet at a run down horse track. Nice art on the wall, but even though there is no direction to not look at it, don’t. Apparently walking around the interior of the shop is forbidden according the the employee that handed me my coffee.
Today was my first visit to Fluid Coffee Bar. I went to the one on Stout Street. I had no idea there was another one, until just now, as I was looking up information on it. Will have to check the other one out at some point. The one on Stout is in downtown Denver. It’s at the base of a tall building. Love the art at the back end of the shop. The mocha was tasty. The lady barista did some gorgeous latte art, but I wasn’t able to capture a shot, before she put a lid on it. Service is friendly and fast.
It was my first time here and it was great! The coffee tasted so good, I got the “squirrel” drink. The cashier was soooo nice to me! The lady unlocked the bathroom for my younger sister (u need a code for every other restroom downtown.) Not overwhelming or busy. My coffee was made super quick. Great experience.
The coffee was very good. But a business that claims to be committed to sustainability should have ceramic cups available and should not have all their pastries wrapped in plastic. Plastic wrap is neither compostable nor recyclable.
Coffee was decent. Service was good. Overall, okay experience.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Denver. Excellent customer service, delicious coffee, and out of this world cold brew. The meeting space is huge and is set up for large scale presentations, or small get togethers. Really just an all around fantastic place to go.
To be honest I dont know where to begin... This place is where I always get coffee and the kindness, patience, intelligent and loving people that work their have the most respect. Their attention is always on you and making sure you are taken care of. Right now, I have so much to say that I started to cry and never felt at home before in my life. They made my 2021 emotionally happy, I go here every single morning. Its always nice to have someone to talk to while stopping by to get coffee. And yes the coffee, pasties are must try. Its so delicious that I stopped going to Starbucks.☺️😊
Everyone here is simply wonderful. I also feel like they all have their own unique talents outside the coffee shop. They always have time for me and a good conversation and even give my puppy all the love 💕
Best latte I have ever had. No idea what they did but it was so yummy. I get why it was so busy. Will visit again next time I am in town
Fluid is a neighborhood staple. I live across the street and there’s nothing better than having a place with great coffee (I get the beans for home then walk over on slower mornings) and a great sense of community right across the street. Lots of regulars and of course it’s easy to see why. The staff is full of GEMS. These people make me smile every day!
Fun funky hispter coffee house, good service
I had a morning coffee and breakfast here. The coffee was amazing! I had a cold brew, and it didnt disappoint me at all. The sandwiches were great, and I can customize them and satisfied with the results. They also run amazing workshops, and you can even buy their beans to take home! I recommend checking this place out if you are a coffee lover.
Cute little spot. Nice staff, scrupulously clean cafe. My cold brew was delicious.
Fluid made me a coffee drinker. The staff is always friendly, the coffee is always fresh, and the food options are great for any craving. I recommend the iced vanilla latte with oat milk.
Very good coffee made to order and delivered quickly despite being in a large group.
Whenever we have business meetings or even a quick chit-chat with a friend, this coffee shop is our place. Not only we love their coffee and their special pastries and desserts, but the ambiance of the place was also very astonishing. Every time we are here was it feels like home. I was having so much fun with their unique couches, too.
I go for the hot chocolate and I ask for extra chocolate. Perfect that way. They even put a little design on top like its a latte some times. Its close to my place and doggos are allowed so Ill definitely be going back
We visit this place frequently and have never had bad service or bad drinks. They always have gluten free loaves in a variety of flavors and they taste great. This morning we tried their pumpkin latte and pumpkin bread and were very happy with our choices.
Wonderful drinks. Wonderful staff. Safe protocols in place.I love going to this establishment.Great conversations and overall friendly individuals.
Love this place! New to the neighborhood and it has become our favorite coffee spot. Always has a treat for our pup too 🥰
Went to visit my daughter in Denver, we stopped in here for hot chocolate (her) and a coffee (for me) ... we both loved this place! The atmosphere and staff were absolutely FANTASTIC!
Friendly staff and impeccable adherence of COVID protocols. This is a great local coffee spot, and they have delicious hot breakfast burritos as well!
As a coffee lover, I cant ask for much more. Smoothies, French press, and theyre open until 5 during the cluster-F that has been 2020.For context, most coffee places close around 2pm these days.
Great local coffee joint
I love this place! Put, White Chocolate Mocha, on your list of hot beverages to try. Add a little cinnamon on top to completely blow your senses away. Nice background music, good food selection and a cozy spot to nestle up with a loved one or even talk business. Fluid coffee is definitely a place Ive added on my, to-go too.
I always love coming here. The staff really kills it. When COVID is over I’ll be happy to enjoy the spacious indoor seating again!
A solid place to grab coffee and a pastry! Plenty of spots to work, meet or hang out and its got that fun coffee shop vibe thats hard to find. The staff are always friendly and happy to make beverage modifications or suggestions.
Love this place and its staff!
A pretty decent almond milk latte and I love the fact that its 20 ounces. The atmosphere seems cool and theres plenty of street parking but you may have to walk a block sometimes.I took a couple stars away because the service is a little impersonal and there is nothing healthy and freshly prepared to eat, just pre-packaged foods. I probably wont make this a regular coffee stop but Ill certainly be back to visit once in a while when Im in the neighborhood
This coffee house is located nicely in an affluent neighborhood and the clientele is well to do. This aside, the beverages are tasty, with a selection of cold drinks as well as traditional hot drinks. There are a selection of baked goods as well and generally a dog or two tied to the tables outside. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there is ample seating, free WiFi with a devoted terminal for those without a device. There are restaurants surrounding if you get hungry, traditional Mexican across the street and ice cream also. The vibe is good. Sit for a while and people watch this is a good place for it!
Wow that coffee is good
Coffee here is great. However the music is obnoxiously loud throughout the entire day. Imagine several scenarios:Scenario 1: When many people come in early in the morning they usually drink coffee because they do not feel awake yet. Therefore, loud music can be overstimulating for those people. Most people would not want to hear loud music in the morning. They may need quiet to moderate music levels in the morning as a way to calmly and gradually ease into their day. This helps them feel good the rest of the day.Second scenario: Many people use that space as a place to converse with other people. It can be to loud to carry a normal conversation, which subconsciously causes people to raise their voice when talking to the other person. This further increases the noise in the shop.Third scenario: Many people go to the coffee shop to study or work. It is extremely difficult to concentrate, be productive, and learn new information.
Whatever you do...get the squirrel. I promise you wont be disappointed
I love the chai at this place, it is so rich! Bathroom was a little subpar though, lots of bugs when I came in a couple months ago.
This is a great local place where the staff is always friendly and the selection is always great. They have some great options for food both hot and cold. I even was outside waiting for my carpool one day before they opened and they came out to check if I needed coffee. Really great people.
Great coffee shop for an afternoon coffee date. Nice atmosphere. Love the music playing on vinyl. Wish they had decaf espresso and nonfat milk options. Definitely returning!
Cute coffee shop, lots of areas to sit and do work. The entire staff is very friendly. I love Fluid! 🙌🏻
This is my favorite place to work remotely - the internet is good and theres lots of room to work.Ladonna and the rest of the morning crew are personable and fun to chat with when the shop isnt busy. Its like icing on the cake of an already great place
Good coffee and always good staff. I work around the corner so I am here all the time and I have never been disappointed.
Great drinks and fantastic service. Best coffee spot in Denver
Hands down the best Caramel latte Ive had. Also polite and friendly staff
The Fluid staff is passionate and knowledgeable about their coffee! And I love my coffee. But the more important part for me is that this place is the heart of the community. Its a great place for meetings of 10-20 people if you reserve the back room. Fluid is also perfect for a business meeting of just two.
Great atmosphere and location. Good place to get work done. They also have some cool art on display and for sale (at least when I was there)
By far my favorite hangout! Three spacious rooms with comfortable relaxed atmospheres, each different. Friendly, kind, & helpful staff. Fabulous variety of drinks and food! Locally owned, alternative shop, nestled in a lovely community with a great feel. Frequented by community residents and those who need a public place to work, study, read, or catch up on email. PC available with capacity to print.
Try the squirrel!
Great atmosphere for hanging out either alone or with others. And good coffee! Their seating area was very inviting. They have books you can pick up and read by the fireplace and games to borrow.
I absolutely love this coffee shop! The baristas are always welcoming, fast, and make delicious drinks. If you like lattes and are looking for something different I recommend their specialty drinks like the snickerdoodle latte style. Not only does Fluid provide quality drinks and service but the atmosphere is fantastic as it suited for several styles. You can sit and read a book or study in their back room or sit on their barstools with the window open in the summer.
Nice place to sit and have a nice cup of coffee everyone was very nice I will go back
I cannot say enough great things about this place. Wonderful, kind, and thoughtful staff who make you feel welcome any time you walk in the door. Amazing coffee, and just a truly great atmosphere. Their hot dirty chais are stuff of dreams, and for a cold drink, get the squirrel. Truly, the best, warmest coffee place Ive ever had the pleasure of going to.
Awesome local coffee shop. The baristas are super friendly. Its nice to have a local hangout to just go and chill?
They do a really great job with the cold brew and have new featured brews every [insert amount of time] on top of the house brew. Their pastries are well made and although I was stuffed from Illegal Petes monstrous burrito, nothing could stop me from devouring the almond danish. The bar is set up such that you can chat with the employees about coffee and basically anything for half an hour. Needless to say, very friendly and informed staff and smooth, caffeinated coffee will bring me back as soon as I need another rush. I didnt see any wall outlets, so for tourists looking for a place to refuel their electronics, this may not be the place for you.
Burritos are terrible. Way overpriced and are frozen. Never buying one again. Could buy a better one for fifty cents at grocery store.
Love this place! The staff are friendly and the breakfast burritos are delicious. There’s nice outdoor seating, which is great place to sit if you have a dog. This cafe has a great community feel and they’re very eco-conscious, with compost and recycling.
Love this spot. Great go-to for meeting up with people, getting work done on the laptop, or just having a yummy coffee. Tons of seating, great location, and I haven’t had any trouble finding parking either.
When I travel for work, once I get to my hotel, I unpack and figure out where I am getting coffee in the morning. I know better than to drink the decaying packages of coffee in my hotel room to make with the $9 coffee maker. No, thank you. The coffee in the lobby? I am sure a kid has licked each item at that coffee bar.No, I am fine doing a quick Yelp search for the nearest and greatest coffee in the area. Fluid popped up as being, basically, around the corner from my hotel after this search, so I headed on over.Fluid is in a fairly nice looking, fairly new, fairly modern, fairly clean building. What is great is that when you head inside, it is a really cute local coffee shop with art on the walls and a great selection of to-go beverages.Similar to all of those local, salt-of-the-earth coffee shops, the service was not warm, but it was efficient. That is all I need it to be, so I was satisfied. I ordered an almond milk latte (so many coffee shops dont even carry almond milk-- bonus) and it was excellent. Nice work, Fluid. Stop on by. It will be a nice, quick break in your morning to get a good cup of joe.
This is a great little local coffee shop. The food the serve is good too! They have free WiFi which is nice and is a good place to study. They even have outdoor tables which I like. In college Id study once in a while there and they are open till at least 10 even night I think which is nice since there isnt anything like that in the area. Great little hang out spot to even read a book or surf the web!
Creative environment with a back room thats quieter for getting some work done. Lots of unique and drinks so Ill need to go back and try more, like the Squirrel! Saw lots of people eating breakfast burritos, another reason I go back and try a bunch of them!!!
Almost didnt come here based on a review of the coffee but Im glad I did. Cold brew on ice is among the best Ive had. Service was quick and very friendly. Seating is a bit odd and not terribly comfortable for aging folks but the atmosphere and coffee are top notch.
Best coffee I have had so far in Denver. Great people too!
Fluid has such a great atmosphere to it! The baristas were very helpful and my cold brew was delicious. The shop has a fireplace, lots of different types of seating, and two full bookshelves full of books you can enjoy. Highly recommend this shop.
Coffee is good. Only issue with this place is the music is consistently horrendous and too loud too focus for work. The music equates to an indie tom waits/punk rock station on Pandora. And the chairs are cheap and hurt your rear after an hour of sitting. Recommend the high chairs by the open window.
Good coffee, nice selection of coffee, baked goods, and sandwiches, pleasant staffFront of the shop is a little sparse, with folding chairs, but provides lots of seating. Back of shop is comfy with armchairs and bookshelves. Shop has a separate back room for quiter work that can also be reserved. Staff was friendly
Fun place to hang out. The coffee sucks. Everything is overpriced. A splash of Almond milk for your coffee will cost an extra dollar. a great place for meet ups, Or to chat with a friend. You dont necessarily have to buy anything; In fact the staff seems to prefer it that way; they dont like to be bothered.
Im mostly a Starbucks coffee guy, but Im beginning to understand why ppl flock to this place. Very nice atmosphere.
Great coffee and delicious food. Lots of seating with access to power outlets. This was a great place to hang out and study for a few hours. Late night hours make it an easy spot to stay at.
Have hung out here a few times and liked the tea and sitting doing work was a great environment. The background music was pleasant and not distracting. If come back here again.
Staff used to be pretty unpleasant here. Went back recently and had a better experience. Espresso is okay. Brewed coffee often tastes stale. The location is convenient though.
This was one of the first places I went to when I moved to Denver years ago, and Ive been back many times. The service can sometimes be slow but they do have a fast-track method for drip coffee if you bring your own mug. The coffee is fantastic and if youve got time its a cool place to hang out too.
Seems like it is a great place for white suburban kids who think they are cool because they moved to Denver. (Oh yeah, now they know culture. And trust me, I love Denver. But there is a lot more to it than a few cliche shops.)Now, it is not terrible. The people are nice. My tea tasted like it was trying hard to be unique. Honestly, I wanted tea today, not something found in a lose weight ad. But if I am around here for some reason and need somewhere to sit for a couple of hours... I suppose I will sit down here and just ask to donate a buck in the tip jar instead of wasting it on the tea or coffee.Although I would suggest going a block away to the park that has benefitted from the boost in the economy, and just enjoying the sunshine.
Nice and clean. Loved the K Pop they were playing. Coffee was good. Staff is super friendly.
Nice place for a nice cup of coffee and have a casual business meeting but music is sometime to loud .
I go here monthly for a book club meeting. Its got a great atmosphere and good drinks and snacks. The meeting area you can book is perfect for gathering together to enjoy a conversation.
I love this neighborhood coffee shop. Fantastic service/management. Fantastic drinks
Cute locals coffee shop close the the State offices. Nice meeting spaces off the main lobby where you can get some work done between meetings. Great coffee selections too.
Fun little cafe. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Novo coffee is what they serve and that is outstanding. Hit or miss on customer service. Good selection for quick bites to eat, locally made. Plenty of street or garage parking for free 2-3 hour.
One of the best coffee shops I know. Always clean and friendly and quickly produced drinks. They have a nice meeting area for people to work. I wish they served more foods or sandwiches.
Exactly what I like in a coffeeshop: friendly and efficient staff; nice drink options; average or better snack selection. Comfy, pleasant place to sit and work for a bit. Laid-back, clean, and well-lit, as well as pleasantly unpretentious (even in the middle of uptown).
Very dedicated, good prices
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the regions of each coffee. Definitely a relaxing place to have a cup of coffee and check some emails. Possibly a light lunch too.
Great coffee. Awesome choices with good descriptions. The staff was able to provide recommendations based on taste preferences. I would recommend if you enjoy good coffee.
Good coffee, good place to meet, and love their co working space to get things done as I sip coffee.
I love Fluid! I live across the street and cant help but go in to get coffee several times a week. The staff is extremely friendly and the beverages and breakfast burritos are fantastic. Try the Nickerdoodle!
This place is great! They offer Cold Brew concentrate on the rocks and will serve it hot as well (most places look at you like youre crazy). Their lattes are made well, and while the seating is often crowded, usually you can find a seat somewhere that has an outlet.
Cute urban coffee place. Nice vibe.
My favorite coffee shop in town. Its cold brew is amazing and I love the vegetarian breakfast burrito. Jeff, the owner is focused on building the community. Great spot!
This place excells at pretentious atmosphere even though the barrister is very personable. The clientele focuses on efficiency and Fluid provides fast quality service. Coffee is ok. Premade burritos are chewy. There is a lot of recycling going on. Work from coffee shop friendly.
Coffee is ehh. Also not sure how it takes 20 minutes to microwave a burrito. Need to find a better coffee shop, this one just happens to be on my street
The folks who work there are awesome. I like the cold brew, but havent tried the espresso yet. Nice variety of grab-and-go food items.
