Great experience all around getting our cabinets refaced. We had had cabinets similar in color to the blinds shown in the picture which did not fit with the floors and countertops any more.Estimate was easy and no nonsense with everything laid out. Kept in the loop as parts were constructed and our installation setup. Installer was very professional and did a great job.Very happy with the results

We moved into a 1950s home that needed a lot of updates. The kitchen was one of our last big projects because even though it looked rundown, the solid wood cabinets were in good shape. We just wanted to spruce it up and brighten the look. Lori and Mark were incredible from the start. They were helpful in explaining their process and helping us pick the right look. Then they spent HOURS measuring everything to a T. When it came time for installation, JD was meticulous. Were still blown away by all of the attention to detail. He was lovely, respectful, organized and on time every day (which is so hard to come by with contractors). We cant express how impressed and wowed we are by the whole process. Based on the reviews here we hired Mark and Lori and are very happy with the results! We wanted a face lift but also wanted to fix a few things that were not working so well such as replacing the desk area in the kitchen with something more functional, moving up the microwave and shortening some other cabinets. Mark and Lori worked to customize a solution for us based around refacing and a little new cabinetry. They didnt always jump to the buy new solution and instead offered unique solutions for any issue. Jon, our installer, was extremely professional, letting me know each day when to expect him and what the plan was. He was never too busy to walk me through questions/concerns and show me how things were being addressed. The transformation was amazing and I couldnt be happier with the result! If you can forgive the mess in the before pictures, you can see the transformation!

The process of working with Home Improvements of Colorado has been great. Lori came out initially to talk about the refacing of the cabinets in my kitchen and three bathrooms. She was very friendly and provided a written estimate via email the next day. The bid was detailed so that I could decide what options I wanted. Lori was very responsive via phone and email to all of my questions.After deciding to move forward Lori and Mark came out to measure and brought the sample colors to match with my counters and tile.The installation process was very smooth. Mark and JD arrived the first day and discussed the project. JD took care of the installation over a four day period and completed the project ahead of schedule. JD did great work, he was careful to protect surfaces like counters and appliances, answered any questions that I had and was very precise and detailed in his work. He did a great job and I think the kitchen and bathrooms look great. JD always arrived on time and cleaned up before leaving each day.After completion of the project Lori and Mark came the next day to confirm the completion and the quality of the work. Home Improvements of Colorado was an absolute delight to work with in every way, and we are just thrilled with the results! Our kitchen and bathroom cabinets are amazing! Alan, who did the installation work, is in a class by himself. From the start, they were easy to work with, explained the steps to get started and then we picked what we wanted for our kitchen. Kitchen remodels are stressful - not with these folks! Lori and Mark Hasty are a pleasure to work with. Lori came to my home to provide the estimate and both she and Mark came back for measurements. We had the cabinets in our large kitchen (58 total drawers and cabinets) refaced. Installation was in April 2018 and the whole process was awesome. Mark and Lori were great during the measurement and design phase. Allen led installation and always left the kitchen usable and tidy. The whole team was super friendly and responsive throughout. We had the cabinets in our last home refaced by one of the big box stores and this experience was much cheaper for a better quality result (soft close drawers and cabinet hinges, new drawer boxes, front wood of bottom pullout cabinets faced, etc). I definitely recommend this team. The kitchen looks amazing.

I hate to just repeat what prior reviews have said, but our amazing experience is very similar and I feel compelled to spread the word about this business. We could not be happier with the entire process of our project. Lori came out and was a tremendous resource for evaluating what our options were for our kitchen and bathroom cabinets (all were golden oak and we were done with that color!). We decided to have the upper cabinets replaced and the lowers refaced to allow us to retain the granite we already had in place. The finished product looks like it came with the house when built and feels extremely durable, unlike the repainting option we considered. Our bid as well was about $4k less than the big box store, but more importantly included higher quality materials and important upgrades at that discount. I cant imagine a better install experience, Alan the installer was a perfectionist, respected our house and cleaned up diligently. Hes a very nice guy with an old school work ethic, whereby he wouldnt shortcut anything, even when I knew there could have been a quick fix, he would often say Ill do it like I would if it were my house, thats how we always things, so refreshing! The project took 2 days longer than the initial guesstimate and I was so happy it did. In that way, I felt everything was done properly and never rushed. Mark stopped by to check the progress and ensure I was satisfied with the work as it went along. This company is run like a family owned business should be run, they give an honest quote, a great price, and a very high quality product. Our kitchen is beautiful! The price quoted was the price we paid. 100% comfortable recommending Home Improvements of Colorado and wish them the best.

We moved into our 17 year old house 3 years ago with lots of work ahead of us to update. We have finally gotten around to the kitchen cabinets. After thinking about repainting our contractor grade cabinets, we discovered Home Improvements on a neighborhood social media site. Family owned, they came out gave us an estimate and thoroughly discussed the project. After a couple of months, their installer (Nathan) came out on a Wednesday and was finished by Friday, a day ahead of schedule. Really nice job and a professional looking finish. Totally changed the look of the kitchen for the positive. Soft close hinges on all of the doors adds a nice touch. We are totally pleased with the project and have added a bathroom re-do for later in the year with the same look. Highly recommend this company and its work.

From the measuring and estimating to the tear-outs, installations, and clean-up, everything went superbly! Allen is an expert installer. And the work was done in only 2-1/2 days at an affordable cost. Wed use them again if the need arises and would not hesitate to recommend them.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I first had Home Depot come out and give me an estimate for re-facing my cabinets; I thought it was high but I didn’t really know what it should cost. I found Home Improvements of Colorado on the Internet and liked the family-owned, local business idea, so I had them come out and give me an estimate. It was about $4,000 less! I have found there are often unexpected costs once the project is started, but not with Home Improvements of Colorado. The final cost was exactly what they estimated, which was awesome. Mark and Lori were friendly, professional, and great to work with. They had some great ideas they recommended, which was very helpful. An issue came up before the project with a new built-in microwave we bought; Mark went over it with us on the phone and felt sure they could make things work, and they did! It looks beautiful. Alan, the installer, is one of the nicest people I have met; he is very hard-working, talented, and conscientious. I arranged to work from home as I didn’t know how my dog would do with the noise and a stranger in the house. She loved Alan and he became her new buddy. The existing cabinets presented some challenges, but Alan did an outstanding job. He even installed the trim on our new microwave and shored up a shelf that was bowing for us. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Home Improvements of Colorado and would recommend them to anyone getting cabinets refaced or new cabinets installed. I wish I had something new to say, but we also had an absolutely terrific experience with Home Improvements of Colorado. We ran the gamut of options from gutting the entire kitchen to doing nothing, and finally decided, after several stops and starts, that refacing our existing cabinets was the right choice for us. Like others, we had the big box stores come out with lengthy sales pitches that turned aggressive at the end, along with a large price. Lori came out to our house multiple times before we actually committed, and each time she was forthcoming, honest and patient with all of our questions and her recommendations. Once we finally decided on everything, the final price seemed very reasonable so we went ahead with it. Once all of the materials were in we got on the schedule and Allen was here first thing on a Monday morning. And, also like everyone else, we couldnt have been more impressed with him! He was polite, explained everything clearly, and let us ask as many questions as we wanted. It only took him 4 days to get everything done, but each day we came home the progress was amazing! The kitchen and garage were always cleaned up (as well as possible) and he was as non-intrusive as possible as well. Each morning we talked through the progress and any questions either of us had from the previous days work. The final product blew away my expectations. Every gap, every line, every nook and cranny are perfect. I struggle to find even the slightest imperfection. Allen truly was exceptional - it is not conjecture that he treats each job as if its his own house, and that hes a perfectionist. The final product is absolutely beautiful - it transformed our kitchen and looks like it cost 3 times as much. Mark was also there every step of the way helping through it all. I will recommend Home Improvements of Colorado in a heartbeat to anyone asking about their kitchen remodel. The trio of Lori, Mark and Allen are truly a treat to work with.
