I really enjoyed working with Andrea on designing cabinets for our basement kitchenette, laundry & three bathrooms. She took hours with me describing what my options were regarding heights, depths, drawer configurations, drawer tilt outs & options with drawer pull outs & interior shelving within the cabinets. Since we are tall we chose an extra tall cabinet with our kitchenette cabinets that included the sink. In our laundry room we chose an open shelving option since its a tight space and doors would be cumbersome. Andrea truly listened to us & treated this as our home meant to meet our needs & preferences. She really cares. She and Rolando came out to measure & Rolando did an amazing job installing the cabinets. Turns out the 9 foot long cabinetry for the basement was too long to fit down our narrow entry to the basement. Rolando figured out a way to cut & patch the cabinet to fit it down the stairs. Between our contractor, Rolando & Andrea; I didnt even know about the difficulty and couldnt even find where the cabinet had been cut months later when I was told theyd run into this issue. I am very pleased with our beautiful cabinets and look forward to working with Andrea & Rolando again in the future!

After gutting and enlarging our existing kitchen, we hired Amish Cabinets to build our new cabinets and design our new kitchen. Andrea at Amish is an amaing designer and a pleasure to work with. She utilized our new space so that we have oodles of storage now and the kitchen has great flow. The quality of these handmade cabinets is outstanding! So nice to be able to have cabinets custom built for our space and have specialized cabinets made, such as a hidden coffee bar. Rolando, their cabinet installer, is a true craftsman. You get top quality for big-box prices. Highly recommend Amish Cabinets!!

Just finished my kitchen remodel before Christmas and am absolutely in love with my new kitchen! Andrea and her staff were wonderful to work with. Andreas beautiful design maximized our storage and counter space in a way that we could never done ourselves. She was so helpful in helping me prioritize what things would fit in my budget to make the kitchen totally functional. The cabinets are gorgeous and top quality. Rolando, her installer, did a fantastic job and also did tile work and electrical for me. His crew were so careful making sure that furnishings and flooring in other parts of the house were covered and protected and they left the area spotless when they had finished working each day. I would highly recommend Amish Cabinets of Denver to anyone thinking of a kitchen remodel.

Our new kitchen is fabulous. We interviewed three cabinet companies and Amish was definitely the best choice to work with. Andrea and Allison worked with us to be sure that our new kitchen was not only beautiful, but functional and organized. The high standards of the Amish workmanship certainly shows in our cabinets. Couldnt be happier!Bud and Loraine Meech

Awful - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANDREA OR HER STAFF. She didn’t deliver in time, demanded more $ than agreed, poor quality, we had to hire someone else to finish their work. Avoid them if you want a nice kitchen!

We were referred by a colleague who was extremely satisfied with their cabinets. The design process with Andrea was fantastic. She quickly understood our need for a functional kitchen capable of having three working stations pods, with much storage. On top of that we wanted beautiful artistic cabinetry. We got that and more. The workmanship of the cabinets is having fine furniture in your kitchen, solid and well-crafted. The touches of the crown molding, cornetts and scroll work bring the kitchen together with the incredible finish on the cabinets. Lee and Dodge worked deligently to make sure everything fit smoothly. Our kitchen looks better than most in the kitchen design magazines. Wow.

We had shopped for cabinets at several places. We looked at several factory cabinets, and when an acquaintance suggested Amish Cabinets of Denver, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. Not really in terms of quality since I’ve seen the Amish furniture, but more that they would be in our price range. I was amazed that they came in very competitive with the mid level factory cabinets we were looking at, but the quality is head and shoulders above the factory cabinets. Add to that the fact that they’re custom, and it’s a no brainer. We have an older house where nothing is standard, and they just made everything fit perfect. No spacers or other oddities. You pick your stain, which is also custom, and you approve a sample on your choice of wood. Then you get a sample door to approve, and you use that for picking out everything else for your room. The ordering process is great as well, and you own it yourself. Once Andrea has your design done and the cabinets you need, she sends you a spreadsheet that’s simple to work with where you can decide your wood type, any extras you might want, and you can see what the bottom line is for your choices, and all without any sales pressure, and in your own home. She’s always available for advice, and she’s very forthcoming and honest, plus she truly loves her work. When we had problems with our contractor quitting on us, they stored our cabinets for us without a problem. So here’s the bottom line. Most importantly, the cabinets are beautiful beyond belief are exactly what we wanted, they’re of the highest hand made quality and custom made for you, and this is a small family run company that works with a single Amish village. We didn’t have to settle for anything. Some things we wanted cost a little more, but nothing was ridiculous. The quality of the cabinets and the hardware is top notch. I understand that the wood for the cabinets comes from the same tree, so the grain and color matches exactly. They’re all solid wood, so no MDF door panels or anything, even with our shaker doors. Andrea and her team are responsive and great to work with. Andrea understands design, and adapted a previous design we had to be even better.I tell everyone I know that if they’re in need of cabinets, that they need to go to Amish Cabinets of Denver because of their value for the quality you get, plus they’re great to work with. The only reason I can’t see working with them is if you just want the cheapest cabinets possible and don’t care about quality. Seriously, go to them and compare factory cabinets, you’ll be sold.

Buyer beware is a common phrase heard in the business world. It certainly applies to our experience with Amish Cabinets of Denver in the remodel of our kitchen. Even though we talked to people who had used Amish Cabinets and researched the business, our experience was a nightmare and we feel others will benefit from our feedback and be more aware of the problems they may encounter if choosing to hire Amish Cabinets of Denver.Through the years we have worked with other companies, contractors, and workers on many other projects for our house. We are aware that problems arise throughout the remodeling process. Never have we had such a horrible and exasperating experience as we had with Amish Cabinets of Denver. We worked with the owners of Amish Cabinets of Denver, Andrea and her sister, Allison, in the remodel of our kitchen starting in July, 2018, and finally finishing five days before Christmas. We spent a considerable amount of money with the company but ended up feeling like chopped liver when all was finally said and done.At first, all seemed to go well. The problems arose after the cabinets were installed (a job done very nicely by our contractor). Of the 23 cabinets and drawers we purchased, 20 of them had problems related to construction and/or finish. At first, Andrea was willing to work with us to correct the problems, but as time went on she became defensive and disorganized.Timelines for repairs were changed or cancelled causing the project to drag on needlessly for months. Communication with Andrea became more and more challenging. She was difficult to talk with and would insinuate we were creating problems where none existed. As a result of her inability and unwillingness to work directly with us to remedy the documented problems we ended up communicating directly with the Amish foreman of the cabinet building company in Indiana. He kindly listened, apologized for the poor quality, and made sure that all problems were corrected. In all fairness, Andrea did eventually facilitate all the repairs that caused us concern, but begrudgingly. We spent far too much time organizing the repairs and reminding Andrea what she needed to do (picking up items to be returned to the factory for repairs, ordering replacements, establishing timelines for pickups/deliveries, and completing the repairs on the final punch list).Instead of having someone working for us, to insure our satisfaction, we ended up dealing with a person who was angry, defensive, and dismissive. And Andrea is an owner of the company! Its our opinion that Amish Cabinets of Denver is not a good company to work with at this point in time. The owners need to up their professionalism, improve their skill set for positive problem solving, and relearn the fundamentals of good customer relationships if they hope to survive in their business. No one wants to spend a considerable amount of money and end up regretting it. If only we had known the abyss we were headed into. Yes, buyer beware - of Amish Cabinets of Denver.
