I just had a replacement dishwasher come to my apartment and one of the delivery drivers named Tyler was extremely rude it’s not his place tell anyone else’s dog to “shut up” like he did to mine Juan was super friendly and ignored my dog like Tyler should’ve so if I ever need to have an appliance replaced or delivered I’d highly recommend that Tyler will not come to my apartment ever again it’s so not his place to tell someone’s dog to “shut up” if he has to come to anyone’s apartment
I cant rate their products, but I can tell you that they will leave their truck parked in front of your garage or vehicle with you unable to move it for over an hour. No clue which apartment they were in to ask them to move, just a truck sitting in front of my vehicle for over an hour. I called my leasing office and their company, neither of which made any difference. I missed an appointment that I had to schedule months in advance because of this.
This company is a joke. They keep sending me a bill because they had to come back and fix their own bad install. Unbelievable! Yea, like I’m going to pay for that. Lol
Used A&K for years to replace 600 unit apartment communitys washer & dryers (old) and for apartment renovations to stainless steel appliances. You cant beat their pricing. I had zero issues the service department for older appliances, the warranty department (rarely needed), as well as the delivery teams. There were a few hiccups along the way, but VERY minor/infrequent and to put those into prospective A&K was doing 35 or more FULL appliance installations for us per month, one client. Tammi, Ray, Rich... they all go out for their way to do the right thing. Small business high quality customer service with low warehouse pricing. Cant beat em.
Mark was Amazing! Very knowledgeable and professional. Their array of choices are abundant. Great prices that wont be beat. We cant wait to come back again!

I had a great experience with A&K. They came out to look at my slowly dying fridge within two days, and were willing to come by right away to replace it once my landlord approved the repair. The employees were friendly, courteous, and professional. They called me when they were 20 min away so I didnt have to take too much time off of work for the repairs. I would definitely recommend them! :)
I called with a problem on my Maytag washing machine. Was given a morning time on a date a few days away for the repair. Person called to say more exactly when they would arrive. That person arrived on time and fixed the problem. I got a bill about a week later for a very reasonable amount.
If I could give zero stars I would. First of all, a key was left in a drop box for them to access my home since I wasnt able to be there for the appointment. When I got home THE DOOR WAS LEFT UNLOCKED. Second, they are unable to give you a 5 hour appointment window until 8am the morning of the appointment. 5 hours? For people who work its impossible to try to attempt to meet that. 3 hours is reasonable. But 5 hours????? 5 hours????? Then they left greasy fingerprints on the doors and wall by the appliance. Great, thank you. Lastly, when they installed the washer and dryer they didnt do it right leaving a wire ungrounded resulting in the need to come back. Doesnt feel very safe. Avoid at all costs and go with someone else.
Dealing with A&K Appliance Repair and GE has been an absolute joke! I have been without my ovens for 5 weeks and counting. Do not buy GE appliances, they will break down in less than a year and then you are stuck with these guys to fix them under warranty. I am beyond frustrated!
((BEN BEN BEN )) is supposed to me a helpful guy according to sales rep Don (who was also very rude) But my main concern was that when I had called Ben to ask about a kitchen set he told me to come stop by . So I made an appointment for 1 pm. He clarified that he was going to be there. When I got there he was no where to be found for two hrs . I left & came back around 330 . Asked for him & was pointed to him in the parking lot standing next to his red ram truck taking shots of liquor . SO UNPROFESSIONAL . I didnt even both approaching him but before I could he avoids me & walks straight into the building. DRUNK MESS
Unfortunately I cant rate any higher. Their 5-7 day out appointment availability is not acceptable when people are without clean clothes. Hire more people maybe! They also should get an idea of the problem from you before coming and bring some of the more common parts along so theres a chance of actually fixing something. Also my technician it turns out didnt even read all the fault codes and just assumed that the lid lock was the problem. I had a more experienced tech out from another company and he was able to fix it on the spot as the real problem was a loose plug on the circuit board. Its unfortunate that A&K was inept this time around
They do not warranty their products not will they repair once you buy here. DO NOT BUT HERE!!I wish I could sue this company. They sell garbage with new parts. Bought a set from them 6 months ago.My washer front loader broke yesterday. The rear basket bracket looks like it had been rusting for years B4 they sold it to me. No warranty available and they said they wouldnt fix it.the replacement part I need cost just as much as what I bought the set for.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM SELLING GARBAGE.
I have been using A&K Appliances for over a decade at the various apartment communities I have managed. They are incredibly reliable and honest about when it is better to repair vs. replacement.
Hard to say what their service is, but they sped down a street closed to through traffic and almost hit me. License plate on the white van started with D, cannot remember the remaining letters. Grossly irresponsible to risk peoples health during a pandemic.
We had a great experience with AK Appliance in Wheat Ridge. Service was prompt and professional. We are renters, but we appreciated being able to plan our new dishwasher installation around our work schedules. Thank you for a job well done.
Feel bad for my neighbor who used these guys..... They were slamming his new washer and dryer all over the place while delivering it. Seemed very unprofessional of them as Im sure he dropped coin on the appliances.Avoid these guys
Horrible customer service. Won’t give you a repair window (of 2 hours) until day of appointment . Plan to take the entire day off of work so tech can stop by for mere 10 minutes. He called at 8:15 to tell us he would be there between 10am-12pm. Showed up, listened to explanation of problem sound (just bought this fridge by the way, brand new) but fridge was not making sound at that exact moment. He rudely explained all refrigerators make noise and people think because they are new they should be silent. He left without even pulling the fridge out or inspecting it. We called to complain and the manager was just as rude. She couldn’t care less that he did nothing more than open the doors and lay eyes on the front of the fridge. She even asked “well is it still making the noise?” As if having him lay eyes on it magically fixed it. Terrible customer service and no resolution!
They came to fix my leaky sink and did a horrible patch job. A few weeks later it was leaking even worse than before. They told me my dishwasher had to be replaced because it wasnt working properly. I got a plumber from another source and we saw that they tried patching together rusted pipes under my sink so it was doomed to fail from the start. I also had him check out my dishwasher and turns out the line was just clogged and needed replacing. They will take you for all your worth and they dont even know what they are doing. Avoid this place at all costs
I bought a brand new house with a new dishwasher and somehow GE ruined the machine when they installed it. They sent A&K out to repair it and the nightmare has continued. The first tech worked really hard but couldnt get it working and had to order a part. The next tech never came because someone had put the wrong part on his truck on our scheduled day. The third tech was nice and fixed a few issues, but determined that the board was fried and he had to order a new one. The fourth tech was supposed to come out today, but now will not be because once again, the wrong part was put on the truck and now I have to wait until Tuesday. Ive been in this brand new house for a month without a functioning dishwasher. What is going on here????
So many problems with this company. The first time, they were supposed to come look at my stove, and I was told that a technician would call the morning of with a time; the technician did not call at all, and showed up at a time when I was not home, and never called or notified us in any way that he had been there. When I called A&K to say that I had never received a call from the technician, it took a week and a half to get another appointment, which the technician then cancelled the day of. It was weeks later when someone finally came. The technician blamed the stove not working on the electrical outlet, so when we had an electrician come look, he said that that was not the case - the stove is broken. The same thing has happened again. The technician was scheduled to come, but showed up and never knocked or called (I was sitting 15 feet away from the front door), and now they cant fit me in for over a week, which they were able to push down to 5 days after I complained vehemently. I cannot understand such bad service; the technicians are given customers phone numbers: USE THEM.
Nope! Never again. One Month since they inspected the 6 month old GE appliance which is still sitting there. Now have to start the whole GE warranty process over with a professional.
I live in an apartment complex where they are contracted. Today they fixed a motor on my fridge and were incredibly friendly, professional, and amazingly quick in repairing our fridge. I kid you not, they were done in 10 mins. We are very happy with the service they provided.
Had 3 visits from their tech personnel - each time the tech had the wrong part. Then A&K sent me an invoice stating there were no issues with the stove, even thought the 1st tech fixed the issue with the left burner not lighting. The right burst burner still has an orifice that is smaller than the left burst burner. I reopened the case with GE - hope they dont send A&K out again.

Save yourself. Do not use these guys. It is very hit or miss with the quality of techs you get. They have no appreciation for your time. Called me 2 mins before the end of the two hour window to say they were going to be another hour late. They had to send out multiple people to look at the appliance because the first guy completely missed the problem that the second guy figured out pretty easily. The receptionists are snarky and rude, probably because they have to listen to a lot of people calling in to complain about their techs...

Only reason A&K received one star is that I couldnt post without it. Failed to keep 1st scheduled appointment, failed to notify us of arrival within the two hour window as stated for 2nd appointment only to be told that the technician is no longer in the area. Total failure.Could not, will not, recommend A&K Appliance to anyone.
