Similar to another review here: Other things were broken after bringing my truck here. I brought my truck in for an a/c compressor replacement. Its a work truck, so taking it off the road costs money. I scheduled a time for service to keep off time minimal, but it took several more days than anticipated. They called daily, but it was always regarding that the part wasnt in or that it couldnt be worked on that day. I finally get the truck back and the battery light comes on during the drive home (the alternator is out). It could be coincidental, but itd be foolish to bring it back there. Nice people & prices were OK, but the work took far longer than we had arranged and I cant bring it back there to fix a problem they possibly caused to have it out for another week.

I have an older car that recently completely died on the way to work. I had it towed to Tri Auto (having never been before) and spoke to the owner. Prepared to spend hundreds$$$ to get back up and running, I dropped the car off and expected the worst. Hours later, to my satisfaction they called and explained that while there were several high-dollar issues I could fix, 1) it wasnt worth it given the age and mileage of the vehicle, and 2) a much less expensive (Im talking $40) solution could get me up and running for a while longer. I went with option 2, and he didnt even charge me a diagnostic fee! Its been over a month and a half, and the car appears fine. I highly recommend Tri auto to everyone.

So every time I brought my car into Tri, something new went wrong that day. So I went to a more expensive and more well established mechanic Firestone on Jones Creek. Turns out the mechanic at Tri, cut a chunk out of my dipstick instead of actually fixing the issue of the excess air going into my engine. He made an attempt to milk more money out of me. The receptionist was very polite and amazing but the mechanic is shady.
