Had a great experience at Performance Tire & Automotive after going in to get a screw removed from my tire and the tire patched. They didnt charge anything, and they had me out in less than an hour. The people who work there are friendly, the waiting area is setup well and is comfortable, they offer complimentary drinks including coffee and soft drinks, and more. Ill definitely reach out to them for future issues with my vehicle and do recommend them for your business.

Stopped by Performance Tire due to a flat tire in Denham where they welcomed me and my 5 kiddos in to wait (the dealership I went to said they dont allow people to wait) and repaired the tire FOR FREE. In less than an hour, we were back on the road and SO GRATEFUL! Side note: I havent been in a cleaner car care place EVER! 4 couches, tv, and sodas or water while you wait. 5 stars for sure. THANK YALL!!

I dropped my truck off the night before and was assured that they would service the next day.I had to call twice for a status update before noon and they hadnt even started on the vehicle.5 minutes after my second call they told me they couldnt do it because they close it too and they cant get the hood open.Yes my vehicle is older and has a string to open the hood, however I feel someone who is mechanically inclined should have the knowledge to accomplish such a simple task.At the very least, had they started on the vehicle as intended, they could have called and I could have answered.

Felt compelled to leave a review. These guys are exceptional at finding the right tire for your car. I have a Yukon, Traverse, GMC truck and a Camaro. Each application got a different tire manufacturer so it shows that they just dont push whatever is popular but go the extra to put the best tire on so you feel secure when youre driving. Fast friendly service is always touted but these guys take it to that next level of professionalism.

I was having some minor cosmetic issues with my vehicle, as the cover underneath my front end had came lose on one side. These guys took care of it with no problem. Although it took some time for my car to have its turn, it was a busy Saturday and they went above and beyond for me. We will be back.

Installed new tires and wheels on my F150. Rob helped answer all my questions and helped me pick out the right tires I was looking for. They even let me ship my ordered rims to the shop and held them for me even though I didnt buy them directly through the shop. Visited the shop 3 times and the waiting room was near full every time, I always take that as a good sign at an auto shop that so many people are there having work done!

I was traveling through town recently on a long trip that I was desperate to finish that day. Started losing tire pressure and needed to have my valve stem replaced. Performance tire had me in and out and back on the road in less than twenty minutes. I believe the young guy who helped me is named Rob. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. Would give them my business again.

These people do horrible business. If you’re not white or some type of veteran they don’t care about you. They will throw away old parts after you ask them to keep them. They will not contact you when your vehicle is done and they will take forever to do the work. Employees are very rude also.

They give you a fair estimate on how long it will take to repair and what the cost will be and always stand behind their work.I have all four of our family vehicles serviced here and have had nothing but positive experiences.

I went in for an oil change today for my truck. The guys I talked to were sharp and knowledgeable. Price was ~$50, which is very competitive with shops in the greater BR area. I didnt make an appointment ahead of time, so there were several customers ahead of me (honestly during the busiest time of day). It was gonna be a while, and I couldnt wait there. The OWNER, Ben, took me to work (not far away) as a courtesy. That blew me away. Its that small gesture thatll keep me coming back for years with all our vehicles. These guys are total pros, pure class.

Great place get anything as simple as a tire rotation to something more advance such as drive shaft and engine repairs. I’ve had many parts fixed here that required a lift such as trany and rear diff pendent seal, great guys up front and in the garage. Make sure ask for Jon great nice dude!

My husband and I were traveling from Baton Rouge to Mobile, AL in the pouring rain when the back tire sensor alerted us that the tire was going flat. We looked for a tire repair establishment near us and found Performance Tire and Automotive in Denham Springs, LA. The staff worked quickly to get our vehicle up on a rack to check out the tire issue. They discovered a nail and the repair was done immediately at no charge. They even moved our vehicle to an unused bay so we wouldnt get wet getting back in. We were back on the road in less than 30 minutes. The techs and front desk staff were friendly, accommodating and very respectful. Its so refreshing to have an experience like this when we are so far from our home in Arkansas. A long time business with a strong reputation for serving their customers at a fair price They are engaged in the community and with veterans issues.

I took my vehicle here last year while my husband was deployed to have my CV joints changed. It cost me $1000, and while the parts are only about $150 they charged me $500 for them. Within a day or two of picking my vehicle up, the popping sound from the CV joints came back. I called them and they assured me the CV joints were brand new and the popping noise was coming from bad engine mounts. Soon after, my husband came home and changed the engine mounts, (he is a technician at Lexus) even though they were fine. We took the vehicle back to performance to have them look at it again. This time they claimed the struts and strut mounts needed replacement. We replaced those (which also looked fine) and still had the popping noise. We called performance and they told us the parts were under warranty for I believe 2 years, so after replacing basically the whole front end of the vehicle, my husband finally decided to change the cv joints anyway. Just like that, the popping noise was gone. The CV joints performance had put on my car were either defective, or they never got changed to begin with. My husband called and asked if they could warranty the parts, and they basically said they would have to talk to the owner and call us back. They never called back, so I am out $1000 and still had to pay for the parts again anyway.

Caught a nail while on a long distance road trip. I wasnt in the greatest mood having a flat, but these guys are positive and helpful and immediately turned the experience around. Theyre fantastic. John at the front desk immediately took care of us, while cracking jokes and making things just a little bit lighter. Ben, the owner, fixed the flat for free. Free - I mean its not like were able to be repeat business due to distance, but they still refused payment. If I were in this area this would be my go to spot for the services they offer, period. This local tire Center is as good as you could ask for. I came to them with a quote for tires from a large retail Center, and they did their absolute best to match the price. They did great work, and I really respect a local business that is willing to do what it takes to get the customer to come back.

I recently moved back to Denham after a LONG time away, and made a few phone calls around town to check prices for an oil change before deciding on Performance. Im SO GLAD I did!!! The sales manager John is personable, outgoing and friendly, and I was stunned at the level of customer service I received- they even repaired an issue from a previous oil change for no additional charge. Complimentary wifi, bottled water & soft drinks, and quick service. I was in and out within a half hour with no appointment. Theyve got my business 100%!

These guys are friendly and their prices are definitely reasonable. If your vehicle doesnt need the service then they will tell you up front instead of padding the bill. I will be going back and sending my friends and family over as well.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great service. Was traveling 500 miles alone when my tire pressure started decreasing rapidly on one of my tires. Exited and first tried NTB who told me they were too busy to help me (knowing I was traveling and had no other option) then I went to Performance Tire and Automotive and they helped me immediately by patching the tire and to top it off charged me NOTHING! I was back on the road within 30 minutes.

Weve been dedicated customers for the past 4+ years and will continue to be. Theyve got a great crew that can identify important problems that you didnt know you had, ie loose tie rods and they make sure its fixed before you leave. They are a faithful company to our military which is another reason i will never move my business elsewhere. You find a better price elsewhere, they are usually willing to work with you. They are located just off the interstate, which makes it extremely convenient. They deserve every star!

Had my oil changed, the following morning I cranked the engine for a warm-up before the morning commute to the office, as I approached my vehicle I noticed smoke blowing out from exhaust pipes so i immediately shut off the engine allowed 15 to 20 minutes car oil 2 settle before checking the engine oil level on the dipstick,After checking the oil level the first second third and fourth time I was absolutely sure I wasnt losing my mind or hallucinating as the oil level on the dipstick was only a few inches away from the rubber seal at the beginning of dipstick, meaning my engine had three to four times over the recommended oil capacity. i hauled my vehicle back to this place demanded 2 have a word with the incompetent individual that performed service on my vehicle and after a few choice words I was told they will bring the engine oil back to its original manufacture recommended oil level capacityAnd offer me 2 free oil changes with an apology for their mistake.Once I received my keys I then opened the hood good luck vehicle and checked the oil level myself.....The entire dipstick was bone dry. I got the impression that this was punishment for the choice words I had said upon my arrival to address the individual that had performed the service on my vehicle and at this point my patience and politeness for the individuals operating this business had long been gone. I had Come to find out that the 2nd mechanic that was addressing the first mistake that the first mechanic had made forgot to completely thread the drain bolt on the oil pan!And once my seals and gaskets begin to leak as the definite result to their incompetence and careless mistakes will be sued!

The customer service/frontdesk was awful towards me. Very dry and rude. Felt like my presence wasnt wanted. Then was overcharged for a simple diagnostic test and further services my vehicle needed. So when I asked why so much?(after he had my card ready to charge) in a rude manor rejects my card, tells me to forget it. Among other things. Pretty much made me feel like crap at the end of the conversation. Of course Im going to ask why so much, its my money. I didnt end up paying for anything. Left in tears! I cant remember the last time I felt this discriminated!!!! :-/

I got a nail in my tire about an hour and a half away from home and I stopped by and the manager was super nice and friendly, they got to it reasonably fast despite being busy, and they didnt even charge me since it was my first visit. Called and checked on a price of tires and when doing so the rude man on the other end when questioning about the price of mounting and why the valve stem was not included in the $36 mounting and balancing he hung up and told me to go and somewhere else. I would not recommend this place of business.

I have used Performance for several years for tires, oil changes and minor issues on our vehicles however when my A/C went out in a car that is only 3 years old I immediately contacted the dealer bc this car is to new to have A/C issues. So I thought. I would rather take a beating than deal with this particular dealership. After being told that Dec. 12th was the 1st available appointment to even look at it I immediately went to Performance. I was in and out within a hour and at a fraction of the cost of what I would have paid at the dealership. Thank you for always getting me in without an appointment and never frowning at that, always making sure me and the KIA are safe to roll because we roll a lot and always treating me like a customer should be treated. So no matter if its a new vehicle or older one unless its a warranty issue I will always go to Performance first. Without a doubt they are the best around!!!

Check engine light on so they charged me 135.00 to run a test on computer, then say they have to change two parts over 250. So I went to inspection they did same test for free, told me it was probably gas cap. It indeed was the cap. I feel they overcharged on that test for sure to be vague about what was really wrong they said that it was either or and they would have to change both parts for 288. 00. They do not have my business anymore.

I would have never thought getting an oil change, tire rotation, new brakes and a tire fix could be a postive experience but they have proved me wrong! Nothing says awesome customer service like being greeted as soon as you get there and being notified of how the work on your vehicle is going each step of the way! They really went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and made sure to let me know of any problems they found when they happened and there was no nickel and diming me. I am very pleased with my experience that occured this morning!

I have brought my cars here for several years. They are very friendly and the price has always been reasonable. The only thing they could not help with was when the AC went out in my Prius. They were honest anout it.

These guys are theives! I went in for a lift kit to be installed, and left feeling like I had done something wrong. The mechanic that was assigned had the same truck as me, he also had a smiling lift kit. He expressed envy of the one I was about to get installed which kind of set off alarms. Basically he didnt have any of the stickers for his kit so he stole mines! When I went to tell his boss he ran out and whispered something in his ear and they asked me to get my kit and leave. I wouldnt trust these guys as far as I could throw them. Save yourself some time and possibly some stolen parts, if he would steal stickers theres no limit to what else he would do.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! Being a single woman and trying to take care of my high mileage car is not easy. Went here a few times for an oil change. Asked that they put the 5000 high mileage oil in ever time. I always left wondering if they did, since I paid extra for it. The sticker on the window would always have that the next oil change at 3000 miles. I would go back and ask if they put the 5000 HM oil and would get the same answer (oh yes ma, am let us change the sticker). So this LAST time not only was the sticker wrong (next oil change was at 30,000) but I pulled out old receipt. It said, 5w-30 Mobil Clean 5000 ok, says what I paid for. New receipt said,10w-30 Castrol. I go inside and get the same thing, but when I questioned the mechanic outside by my car. I asked what was the difference in 5w 30 and 10w 30. He said, one is thicker. I asked, what is better for high mileage cars. He said, 5w 30. I said, well yall put in 10w 30. I asked if he put the 5000 HM oil and he started stuttering and said, I had to go talk to the man inside…. Lied to and charged a fortune, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Called to get a pair of large trailer tires. Get there after they say price, installed and they refuse to service the RV cause its to big.... Why not say that over the phone when quoting large tires?

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE CROOKS FOR ANY OF YOUR MECHANIC WORK!!!!!! We took our car here to have it checked out. They were asked to fix the window that would not go down, find and fix the oil leaks and find out why the break petal was going to the floor. When we got the car back the window went up and down but jumped and vibrated all the way. the car was still leaking oil bad and the break petal was still going to the floor. This only cost us $1,800.00. They told us the brand new break pads I put on a week ago were on backwards which is impossible and charged us for new break pads. They also said they changed 2 break calipers at $80.00 a piece plus labor to fix the problem. So why is the petal still going to the floor????? These people are a big rip off and joke. When I went in there to ask them how the break pads were on backwards but yet there were rotor marks on all four pads they called me a liar. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY OF YOUR WORK. THEY WILL FIX NOTHING AND CHARGE YOU A FORTUNE. THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MECHANIC WORK AND ARE JUST STUPID. I HAVE THE OLD BREAK PADS TO PROVE IT.

This story is a little late but, in 2016 my car flooded in their possession. They called my father and demanded that we pay for the tire even though my car was destroyed. SIX MONTHS LATER their insurance called my house asking to confirm that my car flooded and that my tire was a $300 loss. To take advantage of flood victims is despicable and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I research on their website and shows they do transmission work. I just showed up there this morning and told a guy there I had a problem with the transmission and told me that I needed to take it to a transmission shop! It just said y’all do transmission work and y’all tell me to take it to a transmission shop??? Get real!
