I just drove my 2015 Mini Cooper 3,500 miles across country from Oregon. I needed an oil change and front brake job. Not every shop can work on a Mini Cooper. I had no idea where to take my car for work.After doing a lot of research, I chose A-1 Expert. I definitely made the right decision.After talking with Chris and watching the crew in the shop, I felt at ease and knew I could trust them to do too work. Chris kept me informed when a wear sensor needed to be replaced and wasnt available. Let me know he could get it next day.When I picked up my car the next day I knew that I had picked the right shop to trust with my car. Chris has a world of knowledge in car repair, and a great personality. The shop was very busy, yet he still took time to talk with me 1 on 1 and answer allMy questions.And the price,,,,,, it was at least 25% less than I would have paid in Oregon.Very reasonable. Oh, and when I got inside my car, I was really surprised. They cleaned the inside!!! I hadnt had a chance to do interior cleaning since I drove those 3,500 miles. So you can imagine what it looked like. Im kinda embarrassed.Thank you Chris and everyone at A-1 Expert, who worked on & cleaned my car.Ill definitely return, and I definitely recommend this shop!!!!

I brought my Dodge Ram van here to get new shocks and the front end worked on it is a great place to get work done a lot less expensive than Firestone

Well, I no longer have that problem - Chris at A1 Expert fits the bill and I have no problem referring him. Usually I dont refer anyone because if theres a bad experience, I get the heat, but Im comfortable referring Chris at A1 - before you go anywhere else, at least stop in and see what I mean!-------------------------------------------------------I am adding this a year later. A1 Expert has continued to be an outstanding place to go and Chris has always been accomodating and honest!

Every now and then you run across a true needle in the haystack. A genuine good guy in the industry, and A-1 is that place. Life savers; we were in Daytona and needed to get to Florence SC and on to Ohio when a tension pulley and the serpentine belt let go. They had us back on the road in less than two hours. And the bill was fair; it wasnt gouging even though we were desperate and running with no alternator, water pump, power brakes or steering. Went to the shop to get my minivan checked out. After waiting about a minute, some guy was walking around in the garage when I signaled for help. He says just a minute. Well, after standing and waiting there for almost 10 minutes, Im like hello, is anyone there?. Was totally ignored, even though there were at least 3 mechanics in the garage, few of them walking by seeing me, knowing I was there waiting. Thats how you treat a potential customer? Seems racist to me. If youre not white, good luck trying to get any service here. What a disgrace.

Definitely the most honest mechanic I have ever come across- 3 different times 2 time for a/c and once for catalytic convert and each time Chris was honest, fixed the problem correctly, and saved me a ton... Had I gone anywhere else i am sure I would have gotten screwed. Only place I will go!!!

Was recommended to this shop by a few people. Upon delivery I asked for quotes and a week later I finally get a call back. Well after learning the rip off prices I just asked for a break and oil job which should have been only a days job. Well a week later and no call back Im wondering whats up. I learned Chris no longer runs shop and the new mechanic just tried to rip u off. Be warned stay far away!!!!

I was in Florida on a 2 week vacation from Indiana and needed a lighter repair. I bought a lighter at the parts store & called a couple places about installing it & repairing the connection on the wire harness. The first place quoted me $60. I called A-1 Expert Auto Repair on my 2nd call. I was quoted a very reasonable amount for the repair & install. Easy to find for an out of towner and the work was finished in under an hour. At the quoted price. Locally owned. I work in a small business and have found longevity in business is tied to doing things the right way. I highly recommend this shop.

If I could give less than a one rating. It would be the biggest minus. Big rip off place. Nothing they ever done on my car was ever right. They did a brake job on my van. Said they had to replace everything. Reciet said they did. Brake job was never right. Brake pedal cept going way down. They said there was nothing wrong. It was me. Eventually the brakes went out when I made a trip across state. I almost ended up in ditch. Went to another guy. He said it was still original Master cylinder. Was not changed when brake job was done. I paid for them to replace. Best make surely you see old parts.They redid my air conditioning. It never worked right. Said there was nothing wrong with it. Again it was just me. Air was never really cold. Then quit. It been awhile sense they did the jobs. They made me feel as those it was me. When they where ripping me off all the time.If you are dumb enough to go there. If you are a woman for sure. Make sure you got NEW PARTS. And you see the old ones. They got a lot of money form me. All I got was worst brakes than I had and a very hot van. Shame on you A1 Experts for taking advantage of an old lady. God Bless you!

A-1 expert auto was great, the owner chris helped me with my truck while I was on vacation, I was having tranny problems and within ten mins my truck was on the lift and he was personally inspecting my truck and diagnosing the problem, he also recharged my ac and got me back on the road in no time with a very good price, I even gave him a tip to buy him a coffee. I would highly recommend his shop and the service was absolutely professional and honest . if I lived closer he would get all my family and friends business . cant thank them enough for helping me and my father out while we where on our vacation . thanks a-1
