Got a great price on a used transmission, and when that transmission had some issues come up within a few weeks, they found me a new one replaced it immediately at no extra charge. Their service was professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Took my Lexus 350 RC to get an oil change and break change to MAAX transmissions last week and their customer service was amazing. Nick (I think the owners kid) helped me with the services and even offered me a better price than the other shops around their area. Not only that they managed to finish the the work within 2 hours. One of the best Auto Repair/ Car repair shop I have ever been to. Also, I heard they specialize in transmissions repair so I sent my friend there and Nick hooked them up. They are probably going to be my go to car repair shop if I have any issues with my car battery, transmission or any auto repair necessities.

My cars AC has been out for a few months and Ive taken it to a few different places including Toyota, with each not being able to tell me the issue without working on it and some saying it was my condenser or compressor and quoting really high prices.After Toyota said they were going to charge me just to look at the issue (on top of any repair costs), I decided to google a place to go to. I pulled into the lot and ended up talking to Insik, who said hed take a look. Within 10 minutes, he attributed my AC problem to a slow leak coming from one of the valves. He said that should fix the issue but we would go from there if it didnt. The whole process took less than an hour and Insik was able to fix my AC by just changing the valve and refilling the refrigerant at a very VERY reasonable price. These guys are genuine, not trying to rip anyone off or upsell repairs, and definitely know what theyre doing. Insik, his son Nick and the rest of the team are extremely kind and got the job done, Ill definitely be back and highly recommend them to anyone needing a repair done.

My first visit...I think I found an honest, reliable, fast transmission shop. I recently towed my Honda to Maaxs Transmission. A mechanic had told me I needed to replace the driver side drive shaft and the transmission. I had visited the shop the day before to meet the owner and crew and decided I would get the work done at Maaxs. The cost estimate was $1100.00 for labor and miscellaneous parts and another $600.00 for a replacement transmission that I was getting from another supplier. The boss told me he wanted to try replacing just the drive shaft before replacing the transmission. Well it worked and took about 2 hours but saved me about $1400.00. What an honest man. He could have gone ahead and replaced the transmission because I was already expecting to pay. So far my old transmission is working well. I will be back to Maaxs for any transmission problems with my 4 other cars that I cant fix on my own. Just a great first experience

Had my transmission rebuilt last August (It is now April). I drive it all over without a care. Great Job! I can feel the transmission is very tight (good). I am very satisfied. Occassionally slightly rough going in or out of first gear, but I dont mind it so I never brought it back; it feels like it might even be a good thing because the transmission is so solid. Up steep hills or down I have no problem and a very responsive ride.

Insix is very personable. He worked with me financially. My car engine was out and he replaced it with a used one. Still not cheap but was a decent price. It was a pleasure speaking with him.

Brought my Little Jalopy in for a transmission rebuild and have not had any problems whatsoever with the functionality. Small leak here and there, but unrelated to the rebuild work. Brought it in nonetheless and Eddie fixed it without hesitation. Im very pleased with the results, the level of honesty and furthermore, the price of a complete rebuild. They also perform other mechanical work, so Ill definitely be coming back for other maintenance. Thank you Eddie, you gave my little clunker another lease on life. Cheers!!! JHC.Unfortunately the original transmission man, Eddie, passed away a couple of years ago. Things have changed quite a bit since his passing and no longer have the same sense of transparency .

Honest and helpful

I brought my car in a couple weeks ago and it wasnt fixed properly. Since I have been back 5 times and each time assured that it would be fixed but not now. He finally gave me a time for this morning at 9:30AM and I arrived at 9:10 and was told they were too busy come back at 2:30. Then they called and said tomorrow at 9:30. After my 6th trip there tomorrow I will update if they actually repaired it this time.

I took my 1998 mustang gt for rebuild transmission and they give me 2 year warranty that was peace of mind, car runs like new.

It was very easy to speak with Eddie. His quote was much cheaper than a National Chain Ive used in the past! He even explained the costs!

Eddie is a very honest guy, which is hard to find in good mechanics. His mechanics are very skilled at the work they do.

Great place for those who have problems with the transmission, while other mechanics charged me 1500 to 3000 dollars, these mechanics scanned my car and only changed the defective parts, which in my car were the solanoids. In short I spent $ 250 with the exchange of solanoids, oil and transmission filter and my car was great !! I am very satisfied with this place and recommend it to everyone !! Great service!
