The worst service ever. My car was there for 3 months, called multiple times, every time no one knew what was happening with the car. 3 months later they tell me my car is totaled. I go there, look at my car in the lot and see there is shattered glass everywhere in the back seat with a huge Boulder. I ask them what happened and they said a homeless person broke into my car and they replaced the window. No one ever called to tell me this. I get my car towed to my house today because they told me it was totaled, I receive the car and they just left the glass everywhere in my back seat, shattered everywhere.After stressing about my car for 3 months with them and their terrible communication, literally didn’t call me ONCE to tell me what’s going on and left me to call every time to speak to someone new who had NO IDEA what was going on with my car, and then they have the audacity to give me my car back, not working, 3 months later, with a backseat of broken glass for me to clean up.I’m not even one to leave bad reviews and I wouldn’t have even done it, even if the service was literally the worst I could ever imagine but when I got my car back today with a beat seat of broken shattered glass today, I had to write about it. These people are not trustworthy and have no idea what they are doing.I don’t even believe my car is totaled at this point, I feel like they just wanted to not deal with me because they messed up so many times.0 stars.

Came here for an oil change and to get my air conditioner recharged. Been around 2 months now and air conditioning doesn’t work anymore and my car just started smoking because there was no oil. Going to check for negligence, might’ve ruined my car, ran fine before the service here.

I have known Carlos and the team at Kartek for almost 3 years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their knowledge and service is excellent and they actually care about the customer. I recommend them to everyone I know - especially folks who dont know much about vehicles and are uncertain about the process or the cost of various repairs.

This is my first online review of any place, and I feel bad that I have to do it.I bought and paid for one of their deals that gives me three oil changes and car washes. Upon getting here, they told me that they dont do car wash anymore. I object to it that this is a service I paid for The next thing they told, I am raising my voice. Really? By simply asking for something I paid for? There is a way you can treat people with respect even if there is misunderstanding. In my opinion, they dont know that at this place.I will NEVER go to this place again, and I dont advice anyone to go there for any car service either. Except of you are used to terrible service!

I called about my truck and talked to Carlos. He was helpful and told me to come in the same day. I came by and he looked at my truck and answered my questions. Luckily I didnt need any service. I asked him what I owed him, and he wouldnt accept any money.Great energy and great help overall! Timely too!

Love this place. I will always come here and refer my friends. The service is excellent, the staff communicates about issues that may arise during the servicing of your car, BEFORE they fix anything and charge you, unlike other places I have experienced. Staff is friendly and professional.

Came here for an oil change I bought on Groupon. Calling to schedule the appointment was smooth and appointment times were flexible. It’s easy to get to driving and parking wise, with its own drive-up entrance. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’m only knocking off a star because we were told 45 minutes and it was over two hours because an oil filter had to be specially ordered that they were out of. The staff communicated this clearly while we were waiting and were very apologetic about it, which I can appreciate. Things happen. I would definitively bring my car here again for service, but make sure to plan for extra time just in case. I appreciate the honest service. There’s a juice/coffee shop across from it that makes the wait more pleasant.

Kartek on washington and la cienega is the best auto care place. True and honest inspections. Because of the remodeling, place may look messy but they are actually working hard. They have a great deal on groupon and in store deal 3 times full synthetic oil change for $130 with car wash.

I came here to utilize a Groupon to get my back break pads replaced and my front break discs serviced. Mando (Armando) told me he could do this for my car and asked to see my Groupon. When I showed him my Groupon, he redeemed the Groupon without asking me and told me he would do the service. After inspecting my car, he told me he couldnt do the service unless I bought new rotors and drums from him because mine were too old to service. The new rotors and drums would cost me another $368.00 on top of paying $166 for the service I already wanted through Groupon. When I told him I only wanted the service that I had already paid for, he told me he couldnt do it because he was worried about the quality of his work with my old rotors. HE REDEEMED MY COUPON AND THEN DID NOT COMPLETE THE SERVICE THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. It has now been almost 2 months since this and Groupon as well as KARTEK automotive have not refunded me for a service I NEVER RECEIVED. I am starting a dispute with my credit card company. Mondo has been extremely unprofessional and honestly some of the worst service I have ever had. How do you charge a person for a service and not give them that service? TOTAL SCAM, I AM SO DISAPPOINTED.

Kartek quoted about a third of the dealerships quote, did the job on-time and as quoted, and assisted greatly with helping me get my car re-registered through advice and actions entirely outside the box. I cannot give them enough praise. John is very much a gentleman. I now have a place I trust to take my car.

Eddy & team are the guys to visit for honest, fair prices on excellent workmanship. Just had them install a MagnaFlow Muffler for me, wish I had done this 5 years ago when I first bought my truck. Sounds & runs better than the promised!

I want to start of by saying Armondo is in my opinion the best employee at this shop. I made an appointment rougly three weeks ago for a rear axle brake pads replacement. Since I had an appointment (which I highly recommend because it makes the process smoother and faster) my car was on the rack in minutes. Service took 1 1/2 hours but considering that they were booked it was rapid. This is where Armondo really went above and beyond, fast forward to this week when I realized I left my wheel key lock at this particular shop. I called in and spoke with Armondo who assured me that he would have my wheel key lock ready the following day. I came in today and just as he said he was awaiting me with my property, I am definitely a happy camper with the service they provided but now I can attest to their great character as a whole because of Armondo. Thank you guys very much and I hope this review helps you on making the choice to stop by!

Had the full synthetic and tire rotation here. It was supposed to be appointment only, but the staff there was very friendly, and had time to squeeze me in.
