Great family atmosphere nice merchandise but a little pricey

Over priced and my mascara was dried out

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. Small shop but a nice one.

The staff is not very welcoming or friendly. Some are less knowledgeable or perhaps less willing to help as others. The store is quite hot which takes the pleasure out of shopping. After visiting this store twice, I am disappointed and will not buy from this location.I would not recommend this store location to anyone.Customers should be greeted by staff the moment they enter into the store. The staff member should ask the customer what they are looking for and offer to assist as needed. Excellent customer service is essential for increasing sales. It is quite easy to deter someone from shopping if the potential customer doesn’t feel comfortable.

First off, I lost my receipt and I feel terrible! If you go to this Sephora ask for Ray for help! Seriously the best person in there! He helped me find the perfect shade of foundation and he didn’t act like it was a bother; like some people in there do! Great personality, definitely could tell he enjoyed his job and his face was beat for Jesus!

So I’ve been to this location twice in the past week! Every single person who worked there was extremely friendly and honest ! No one tried to push any kind of product and genuinely helped me find what I was looking for! Both times I have left very happy! Perfect location As well!!!!!

The young lady with long brown hair is AWESOME and truly knows and understands the products that they have there. Great customer service and very clean store. The only negative is that the store was very hot while the rest of JCP was not.

This was by far the most friendly staff at any Sephoras I have visited near Charlotte! I wanted to give a shout out the the man who helped me but sadly his name isnt on my receipt, just associate number(0583) either way this guy was amazing, personable,and helpfulI. I was surprised to learn there was one in Carolina Mall, definitely need to put more advertising out there for this store! Either way I will be back!

The staff is so nice and very diverse wil male and female and black and white. All the staff make sure to handle my needs every time I go. I see reviews for the heat they used to have a problem with but that’s not an issue the staff can fix nor can they fix JCPs return policy. They are very knowledgeable and I love shopping here.

I was in the Carolina Mall store 7-3-19, I had went in and ask the young lady if it was alright I was going to rest room and would come back, that I needed foundation power and eye shadows, She said ok after returning there was a different lady helping 2 people in the back, after about 10 mins she said I’ll help you when I’m done with them, I said ok after showing me colors of foundation you could tell she really didn’t want to answer any questions she put foundation on me and powder, I told her I would take that and the brushes to go with it, after she went and got products I said can you show me how to use that powdered Too faced bronzer, she said no I can’t show you I’ll tell you how cause you done went over your 15 minutes, I had 4 or 5 hundred dollars in product, I did not look my best today cause I knew I was going to try on makeup so I didn’t wear any, I felt so degraded almost like Julia Roberts on the movie Pretty Woman on Beverly Hills drive trying to buy a dress, they lost a lot of money and a person who will never go in there store again, why would they say that’s a rule? She said can I write any of these things down for you as I went to leave, I said no cause I’m never going buy anything from your company, I’ll get it at Ulta tomorrow!

I have been to several of the JC Penny Sephoras now and this is by far the best. Extremely clean and organized. Friendly staff with genuine personality. JC Penny needs to step up the rest of their store to match the presence and modernity this sephora brings.

Nasty customer service from girl with the green hair! She is very nasty when it comes to dealing with black customers! I have been spending money in this store and she sold me a product and then going to tell me it wasnt showing up in the system and she could not issue a store credit nor a refund because sephora changed their refund policy. That was a bold face lie! I usually drive 35 minutes to northlake mall. I was happy for this store but peace of mind is going to keep me going to northlake until they get rid of the nasty chick. Also, curious to know why there are no black consultants employed here??? I can see that this sephora will do poor here due to bad customer service! I will be contacting the JC PENNY store manager on Tuesday and I will make sure that all 500 of the women that work at my company, my neighbors, family and friends be told about this store! Matter of fact Im going home and pull every receipt in the last 60 days and take it back for a full REFUND!

The girl in here working made me feel like a total burden when asked for a powder recommendation! I ended up leaving...

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRASH!!! I visited this location on 11/7/21 about 3pm for the first time. Not a friendly or helpful atmosphere. I thought I was alone because I didnt see or hear anyone. As Im reaching for a concealer, this white lady walks in. She looked dead at me and walked right pass me, didnt speak, didnt ask if I needed help or anything. At first thought she was a customer, but she went right behind the counter and had a full conversation with the other employee who had been there the whole time. Mind you, Id been in Sephora for 10 or 15 mins before the lady walked in. They kept talking like they were on lunch. I will NEVER shop there or visit again.
