I was planning to go to the dealership but a coworker and long time customer of Five Star referred me. They were able to get me in right away to replace my front brakes and the pricing was very reasonable. My brakes were done quickly and I had my car back within a few hours! Five Star Automotive worked on my Dads Toyota Camery. Check engine light came on. We took the car to Five Star Automotive because Brian (owner), had worked on my car before and the experience was great. So naturally I recommended my dad to bring his car to Brian. Brian was very straight to the point and honest with the diagnostic. He gave us options to what we could do and his quotes on the job. We set up an appointment in a week because the shop was pretty booked. But when we dropped the car off that day, Brian fixed the problem. We also needed our brakes fix with resurfacing . We had a GREAT experience with Brian and the crew at 5-Star Automotive. Our sons car broke down in Concord and the next day, we called early in the morning and Brian said he couldnt promise that he could sneak us in but he would try!We dropped the car off, and drove home to Napa. A few hours later he called, knew what the problem was and ordered the part (after our approval to do so). Said hed hope to have it the next day (parts are tough to come by due to the chip shortage right now).Anyway, the next morning I got a call that it was all done. We drove home and its PERFECT.Thanks to 5-Star Automotive for saving us at the last minute. They were fast, very reasonably priced and professional.This is a shop you can trust. You can just feel it. I have a 97 F150 that just turned 100,000 miles when suddenly one day it developed a missfire. During the lockdown I had purchased a FIXD diagnostic unit and according to it the miss was in cylinder #4.Having heard that these plugs are notorious for breaking during removal I called 5 Star because my boyfriend swears by the service he has received from them on more than 1 occasion.They confirmed the diagnosis and had my vehicle in and out within a couple of hours. The cost was reasonable as they even worked with me to keep it as low as possible.5 Star Automotive has another loyal customer to add to their list.I highly recommend this shop and its highly qualified technicians!So if your car is acting a fool and needs to be tuned up take it in and let the guys at 5 Star get you back on the road with no worries. Brian and the team at Five Star Automotive were so great to deal with and knowing the vehicle being repaired was for our new young driver, they took extra special care to make sure it was as safe as possible. My mom has been coming here for years and I needed to get my brakes done while in town. Very fairly priced and got it done quick and got some DIY advice from Brian, which you don’t often get from mechanics.

I just had my master clutch cylinder and slave cylinder replaced lines were bled and the clutch pedal adjusted so the car feels solid and good as new. Ive been taking my Nissan 300ZX to five Star during the last 10 years theyve always been kind respectful and treated the car as if it were their own. if you want to trust a good group of guys and leave your car with them trust me youd be doing yourself a favor!!

I brought my 1986 toyota truck to them for a valve adjustment and brake inspection. Dropped it off right when they opened. At around 3 pm I received a message apologizing because they got really busy and hadnt had time to look at it. Next day I was informed it needed a new master cylinder so I approved the work. Didnt get the truck back for 2 more days. My mom loves this shop and has used them for years.

Called first thing Monday morning, Brian was great! He fit me in even though they were booked for the day. I had a concerning noise while driving and was worried it was mechanical. The tech drove with me, heard the noise, brought my car back for a thorough check, and it turned out to be something very minor. I’m extremely grateful as the dealership wanted to charge me $195 just to look at my car. I also received an oil change. The guys were extremely professional courteous and very nice. I am a repeat customer for sure!

Finding a good auto repair shop has always been a struggle for me. Being a woman who knows nothing about cars I often feel taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs, but not here. The Brian’s are honest and kind and do great work.

I went to the Honda dealership and was told that I would new brakes, front and rear. They quoted me around $700. My mom told me that the cost didn’t sound right and to call our trusted “go to” for car repairs. I called Five Star and was quoted almost $300 less. I made an appointment for the following week. Day of appointment my mom’s car wouldn’t start so I didn’t have a ride there. I called Five Star to cancel. I talked to Brian who said they were pretty booked for the next week but he would see if he could fit me in the next day. I checked their calendar and it showed no availability for the week. Brian called me back right away and said he would fit me in the next day. The work was finished within 3-4 hours. Thank you Five Star!!!

I brought my car in to have an ABS module replaced. Of course, one of the bolts was stripped and it was a much bigger repair than originally thought. 5 Star did an excellent job and I was able to get the car back the same day.

I really, really needed my car checked out quickly when the battery failed and I knew I had to report for jury duty the next day. In fact, I thought it was an alternator problem just because the battery wouldnt hold a charge. When Brians team checked it out, they said that the battery was simply malfunctioning. They replaced the battery, had enough time for an overdue oil change, and got my car back to me within a few hours. Cant say enough about how professional Five Star is, and how grateful I am that, as a newcomer to Concord, Ive already found a shop I can trust. I brought my truck in, unannounced, on a Monday. They quoted me a few hours later, fixed two big problems and then it was ready for me to pick up that Wednesday. Im not sure if they were pricey or cheap because I didnt compare with any other shops. All I wanted to do was to get my truck fixed quickly and they did it in a timely and professional manner. Ill definitely go back again when I dont have the time to do a fix myself and I definitely recommend them to anyone.

Brian helped me diagnose an issue that stumped another local service for 2 days in 1 hour! He quoted me $145 diagnostic estimate but then only charged me $90 for time he actually spent! WOW! that is called honesty! Then he was able to help me to get the other shop to cover my costs to fix a botched repair they did! This required several phone calls and emails which were done promptly, I am so impressed with Five Stars responsiveness, honesty and value! Will be bringing BOTH my cars here from now on!
