I came to Tek Experts to replace my iphone se battery. The people working there are very friendly and responsive. I dropped my phone at 12pm and came back to pick it at 5pm. They also cleaned my phone front-facing camera since it got blocked by a lot of dirt and they did not charge me for that service. The battery works perfectly and I am very happy with their service. Highly recommended!!!!

The tech person was nice, but when I got my phone screen repaired there is a tiny blob on my screen that’s staticy/black.Update: I got refixed for free, but when I went to a place to get my screen protector the person applying it said part of the screen was popping out and if I were to put a screen protector on it and then take it off the whole screen would come off. Long story short, I went to another place and turns out not all of the screen was clipped in correctly.

Well i requested a quote to sell a factory sealed apple watch 6.. the response back to me was they would need to need it for 24hrs to avaluerate it when i asked why 24hrs when its brand new.. they said they would need to open the package up and turn it on and set it up.. at that point to me it would make my new watch used.. it seems shady to me...You are right opening it make it open box.. But turning it on and setting up to me is consider to be used and the person said in the reply back they would need to turn it on set it up to test it..... and still failed to explain why u need it to hold on to it for 24hrs

I didn’t get an email or text/call when my phone was done. But its not that big of a deal. I still got my phone! :D

Do not go here, the techs dont know what theyre doing at all. I brought in my laptop because I needed a new motherboard/GPU. After a few days they called and said that they couldnt figure it out for some reason... Then they asked me if I wanted them to reinstall Windows, which is stupid, and I said no. But when I picked it up, they reinstalled anyways and deleted years of my work. My laptop is still broken, too..Dont waste your money on these guys

Microphone was not working properly in my cell phone. They tried cleaning it and searching for no/low cost fix first. That was appreciated. The young man working was very friendly. I ended up need a new microphone and chose to replace it. It was cheaper than expected and they took care of me in less than 24 hours. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

When I had an issue on my HP desktop that another local tech repair could not fix, a friend told me to go to Tek Experts. She had recently gone to them for help with her phone and thought they were fantastic. I went and found out how right she was. They are extremely competent and very friendly. Jay investigated the issue and took care of it as I watched, and he explained how I could avoid it happening in the future. Wow! The charge was lower than I expected for such insight and quick resolution of an issue that had baffled other professionals. Since then I have been back for assistance with my phone and the purchase of a superior VPN program and a Surface. Great support and explanations. As another reviewer said, I completely agree that this is the premier device repair location in central Ohio.

My 2012 Macbook Pro had been operating at an increasingly slower level over the past two years. I kept putting off repairing it because I didnt know who to trust to properly fix it. Prices for other used macbooks were at least $400, which I couldnt afford. Jay at Tek Experts was able to give my computer new life in just two weeks! He installed an SSID and provided me with 4 more GB of RAM and now my computer is as quick as something brand new, seriously. He frequently called me over the course of the repair time to let me know what was happening with my device. The total cost for all services was just ~$200. I am so grateful to Tek Experts for their quick, professional, knowledgeable service.

My hubby & I made our 1st ever visit to Tek Expert on the recommendation of our grown son.Our sole intent was to purchase new batteries for our existing two IPhone 6s. Upon entering the showroom ( it’s quite nice & really large & well lit) we noticed the resale offerings of used computers & mobile phones that were in showcases. I found a really nice “ gently used” clean IPhone XR with 128 Mbytes of memory. I decided that THAT new phone with its extra capacity would serve me better than my initial plan to buy a new battery for my older IPhone.. So I DID purchase a new battery from Carl for my husband’s IPhone 6s but I also decided on the spot to purchase the IPhone XR (10th generation). I had no experience handling the newer technology. Carl & the other associate on site Gerado were patient & helpful with me despite the fact that many customers were entering the store while we did our training & transaction. I like that this is a locally owned enterprise & not some monster sized mega corporation.Other associates at the store were also friendly & professional when I took my phone back for technical data transfer from my former IPhone to my new IPhone XR. I gave my MacBook for repair and I paid 100$ for that inspection. They called me and said my mac is turned on and battery, keypad has to be changed. I told them to change that, but they are taking too much time to repair. So I asked to not to change the battery and keypad. When i take the laptop and try to turn on it is not even turned on. During this time when i called them to ask how much time it will take to repair, they use to say different stories. I don’t recommend

Update on 01/11/2021: Daniel called me back, provided some useful information on diagnostic, and made the situation right. Thus updated the review.I had an LG v40 that would power on for 10 seconds then die. They suspected battery issue, charged me 30 dollar inspection fee to confirm, while I suggested its unlikely as the phone would die when being charged. Took them more than 3 weeks to call me back, though promised to call back within a week. Then they just told me they couldnt figure out whats wrong, and would still charge me 30 dollars. I said you need to given me a useful conclusion for 30 dollars. The guy then said that them couldnt fix my phone was my conclusion.With that logic in hand, everybody can open a phone repair shop and start charging people 30 dollars!

Went in on a Friday to get my iPhone 11 max screen fixed. They didn’t have the screen in so the guy said he would order it and it would be In Monday and would fix it the same day. When I show up Monday low and behold the screen is not there. I waited the weekend with a broken screen with the expectation of getting my screen fixed on Monday. Before I showed up Monday I almost could have bet they wouldn’t have the screen they promised.

I had a very hard time with a phone 📳 I ordered online, the phone was locked 🔒under another carrier, and could not get them to send the proper code! I also cracked the back of the phone...I found Tek Experts through Google. I called and first spoke with Jake, he suggested bringing both phones into the store and trade for purchase on another LG V30 he spoke with Daniel and that was a go...The next day I spoke with Carl who assured me in detail that they would give me the best in-store service possible his customer service was a genuine interest to the highest degree! Daniel called me within an hour and told me they could fix 🔧the phone I brought in that I cracked and could not get 🔓unlocked and that it would cost half of what I paid upfront and I would be getting a refund I was elated! (again genuine customer service) also could pick up the 📱 same day...went in to pick up and spoke with Lee who gave me a gift for my patience he also was spot on! They have their repair prices listed on their website. I needed a phone screen replaced. The website said $75, when I came into the store, he told me $75, and I was charged $75! That’s 10/10 as far as I’m concerned. Also, they replaced the screen in 30 minutes!Highly recommended.

Told them my issue with lagging experiences when gaming and they configured a new router with Ethernet cable to fix the issue. It works great. Very nice and knowledgeable.

When no one else in Columbus would replace the glass on my Pixel 4XL, these guys did. And they did it fast and at a great price. Super professional and great to deal with. I live in Pataskala, but Ill be making the pilgrimage all the way to Hudson St for any repair I need in the future on any of my familys devices.

Josh fixed my computer. Saved me 200 dollars from going to Best Buy. Was a nice and clean environment, would go back if any troubles.

I walked in with some old junk electronics and I showed the guy working what I had. He said most of it was too old to be worth anything (I wasnt surprised, it was junk to me anyways), but that he would look at the stuff he thought was worth something. I ended up selling 2 old phones for $15 a piece. The rest he said he would get recycled properly. Id have thrown the stuff away otherwise, but got $30 instead, seemed good to me.

Tek Experts saved the day.... and my iPad 6 Gen and my iPhone X. Daniel was incredible to work with. He was honest and straightforward about prices and repair time. He even drove to my house, picked up my devices, repaired the one that I needed immediately in his work van in less than 20 minutes and returned the other device a couple days later. They are working around the clock to fulfill orders and for about 10% less than all the other device repair shops within a 15 mile radius. I don’t normally leave reviews but I was beyond satisfied with my experience with Dan and Tek Experts - Columbus and I’m confident you will be too!

One of the workers were being weird from the moment I walked in. I was being treated differently. Literally, my boyfriend even realized it. I don’t know if it was because of the color of my skin or something else but you could tell. Do better.

Fair prices and nice people

Recently discovered this place a few months ago and have brought in two items to be repaired. Both times they have done an excellent job with very reasonable prices for each product. Truth be told there are not a lot of quality tech places around where I liveso it is worthwhile for me to put the miles in to come here. I cant recommend this place enough.

I called and was given one price, but was given another price in the store. The promised phone call to say my device was ready for pickup never came. I also wasnt given the part which had been replaced, the older but still functional battery. However, my device was repaired in only one day and the price given in-store was reasonable. My device seems to be working perfectly.

This was my first day here at tek experts and they fixed the problem with my iPhone within a hour. My phone was having unexpected shut downs and the battery that I had in my phone was not supporting my phone itself so I googled phone repairs and tek experts were the first to come up and I called to see if they had the battery for the phone that I have and they did I am so thankful because my phone is my little business partner (electronically) and it’s all fixed up and back to normal.Thankyou so much for everything I would definitely recommend

I had the BEST experience here! They did an absolute Amazing job on my phone when I had a problem with it. They fixed it fast at a reasonable price within 20 mins when other places were going to charge me $150 and take two weeks to fix! The store associate Lee was very nice too and very helpful! Had my iPhone X screen replaced here after it cracked. The first screen wasn’t right — white spots, some glitches — so I went back in, and they were happy to replace it a second time at no cost because it was still within the three month warranty. The second screen is perfect! Overall happy with their service and experience, just docked one star for the first screen mishap. Would definitely recommend, because they do good work, and will rectify quickly and fairly if there are any mistakes.

My friend had has apple watch fixed ther. when he got it back it was locked with some passcode. when my friend told them whats to code they said he has the code. the watch was not even working when he has them to repair it. so they had to put a code in it. now my friend has to take it to apple store to get them to redo the watch. now its going to cost my friend to get apple store to redo the apple watch. SO PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE THEY WILLLOCK YOU PHONE OR ANYTHING UP

So thrilled with my experience at Tek Experts. I had an unusual electronics item that needed a repair and 3 other electronics shops in Columbus told me they couldnt possibly fix it. Unlike the other shops, the staff at Tek Experts was actually interested in helping me! They handled the repair quickly (in less than 30 minutes--not bad for something impossible) and pleasantly, and the total cost ended up being about half of the price they quoted to me. Had to get a screen replacement on an iphone and new port in another phone. First of all, their 20% special had expired but the nice gentleman extended the sale. It was affordable before the sale but very affordable after. He did it within the hour. The phone looked good as new. Nice people, quality qork, and probably the best prices in town.

My phone stopped charging so I brought it in. They offered to fix the charging port quickly and for a reasonable price, but before they did it, they took a careful look inside. Turned out the port was just super linty. A helpful technician spent ten minutes cleaning it for free! Could not be happier. By the way - the guy at the front desk is quiet and sort of ignored me for a few minutes, but dont let that put you off.

Stopped in last week about an hour and a half before closing to get my iPhone 6 battery replaced. Guys in the store were friendly, and they were able to take my phone immediately and got it done before closing. Overall it was quick, easy, and affordable.As far as the phone goes it seems to be working well, and the battery is doing as expected, so no complaints from me. If I have further phone maintenance needs I would not hesitate to bring it back here.

Dropped my phone off to get its battery replaced. When asked for my info, I explicitly asked if they needed a phone number that wasn’t the cell I was giving them. Was told no. Returned later to find they didn’t have the promised battery on hand and couldn’t reach me because of lack of contact information. Very frustrating and a waste of time.

Love these guys. Been there for a cell phone repair that I fell in the lake with and a phone that got smashed by a 35 weight. Josh gives exceptional service at a very reasonable price. They also get your problems knocked out quickly. Such a better vibe than going to a major cell phone brand store. Would highly recommend. Looks like almost everyone else is having great service here as well.

Daniel, great guy by the way, drove 45 minutes to come and repair my iPhone (which had a cracked screen). It took him no more than 15 minutes, he was friendly and definitely knew what he was doing. I would most definitely recommend him to friends.

I honestly wish I could provide less stars but unfortunately one is as low as Im able to go. My boyfriend took his i-phone 8+ to Tek Experts on February 12th to repair a shattered screen. They repaired the screen that day and everything looked good. Then, within a couple days (while he was out of town on a business trip) the top portion of the screen stopped responding. Next thing we know, the following Tuesday, as he was wiping the screen off with his shirt, the top portion of the screen cracked around the ear microphone. He immediately took it back in and explained to the rep there what had happened. The representative told him that due to the crack they would not be covering the screen issues under warranty. I was completely blown away by this as you should be able to clean your screen without worrying it will break. I got on the phone with a representative name Josh and had a somewhat heated discussion with him as he implied my boyfriend was lying about how the screen cracked and as he stated we were trying to get something for free. Finally I pointed out to him that there was no point of impact on the screen, and that it was an awful big coincidence that the crack occurred where they screen wasnt functioning and he finally agreed to fix it with no additional cost to us. He then was extremely rude to my boyfriend after we got off the phone. Our phone is now fixed (for an extra $30) and I am hoping it continues working correctly. I will never be visiting this establishment again and will pay the extra money elsewhere. The only reason we went to them to begin with was because they were able to get us in same day.

I had been having issues with my iPhone 7 lightning port. It kept disconnecting from my headphones and car whenever there was the slightest bump or movement of any kind. Ive had the phone for a few years and assumed that the port was wearing out from the thousands of times I have plugged and unplugged it. I called Tek Experts and they were very helpful, giving me a cost and amount of time to replace the port. When I arrived with the phone, the man behind the desk took my phone, looked in the end of it with a light, stuck this tool in the end for about 90 seconds and fished out some thready, linty junk and then plugged it in again. He pulled the cable in all ways and it would not disconnect. He told me he was pretty sure that should do it and I dont need a repair. (That was a few weeks ago and my phone is still working perfectly) I asked how much I owed for his trouble and he said there would be NO charge for anything at all. I insisted I pay him for his time, effort, taking my phone call, etc but he refused, said it was no problem, and to come back if I ever need anything in the future. Impressive. I would highly recommend Tek Experts and will be back!

I have had to make 2 visits (1 for laptop touchscreen and 1 for the charging port on my phone) to Tek Experts in the last 6 months and both times, they were able to fix my problem within 5 minutes- and refused to charge me either time since they didnt open anything!! Their customer service is unmatched and they were SO EXTREMELY helpful when I went as my last resort.

These guys are awesome! they fixed my phone for much cheaper than most places would, and most places would have kept it over night, they had it done in 2 hours, and I didnt make an appointment before hand. I may have caught them at a good time but they did amazing work in a very timely manor. other places said they couldnt fix it but they did a stand up job. I will NEVER go anywhere else to get my devices fixed again and would suggest it to any and all my friends.

It was because of the other reviews I read that I tried this place and I will definitely be back for any future work.Sons iPad mini had a broken off charge tip in the lightning port. I was waited on within minutes and was on my way out the door in less than 1 more minute and there was NO charge for the service. I wish I would have grabbed the guys name but I appreciate the fact he recognized it was an easy enough fix (for him) and was kind enough (where I am sure other places would not be) to not charge for this repair. I will spread the good word of this honest establishment!

I had my phone battery replaced here. The first try we got a bad battery but they were kind enough to get in another one and do the repair for half price because of it. Everyone I interacted with was attentive and kind to me. My phone works much better now!

The only highlight of my experience here was the fact that the people were nice. It only took them a day to figure out what was wrong with my laptop, a week later they still had not fixed it. I understand that they are busy, but it doesnt take a week to restart a hard drive. Dos Boot found a better way to fix my issue than restarting the whole system, they got it fixed in 15 minutes. Unfortunatly theyre closed now so I had to come here.

Wow! My iPhone went dead this afternoon, so I dropped it off for diagnostics. They said they wouldnt have time to look at it until tomorrow. Just got an email advising me that the phone was still under warranty, and they recommend that I take it to Apple for warranty repair. And they are not charging me for diagnostics! Really speaks to the quality and integrity of their work. If I need computer or cell services in future, this will be my first stop.

They provide excellent customer service! I came in with the issue of the power button of my laptop being stuck so I couldnt power on my laptop. I visited multiple other repair shops in a rush because I needed my laptop for some of my college classes but they all had long waits or ridiculous prices. At tekexperts, an employee named Nick quickly took off the bottom of my laptop, identified the problem, and even managed to engineer a fix to another issue I was having all within the hour. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing repairs or looking to purchase a device!
